Tanah Naga Deploys Forces to Malay Peninsula



Following extensive posturing by the Lasir Board of Directors, the government of Tanah Naga has deployed 95,000 additional troops to the Peninsula to dissuade military action. Should the dispute come to blows President Robert Suharto has stated that the nation is ready to issue a draft for 600,000 additional troops within the near future. Suharto has waved the Lasirian claims aside, calling the Board of Directors "hopeless imperialists."

Southeast Asia, with exception to Lasir, has been rock solid for the past decade, and it seems like the problem child of Asia is finally looking to drag others into its mess. We can only hope that both sides will come to a peaceful agreement.

Alicia calls SC meeting, Hulm calls HRC meeting, and trade is booming!

After recent lobbying done by Queen Mary with government officials, Alicia and Hulm jointly called the Apsia council to meeting discussing matters related to Mbale and Lasir. After the meeting adjourned Queen Mary stated the following while leaving a meeting with the non-profit organization Clean-Water-Happy-People "Today we saw the Human rights council do what it is intended to do. I hope with the fund we can bring water to these people and end the massive loss of so many beautiful lives." The queen failed to comment what was discussed during the meeting with CWHP but did state should would be announcing soon. The Queen called the meeting a big win for Hulm, Alicia, and the human race.

The meeting over Lasir on the other hand did not go as planned. Secretary of State Gallo proposed issuing a statement to Lasir that if war took place economic war would take place against the nation. Before the meeting could come to a close Lasir declared the war placing hundreds of thousands of lives on the line. Embargos have been issued across the council with Alician ally Japan taking up arms against the nation. While exiting the head quarters Gallo stated "We met today to save lives in Mbale, if nothing was done about Lasir aggression hundreds of thousands of more will be lost. I have faith Japan has full control over the situation and i pray this pointless war can be brought to a close."

Landersvichian Economic Growth Plan

The 12.5 billion Marks of tax revenue budgeted for economic development is now being put to good use. The Kaiser plans on creating small business grants which will help develop a stronger economic foundation for the nation. It has also been stated that the Kaiser will be setting some of the money aside to create Family Planning facilities whose main purpose is to increase the population of the nation.

HLR and other Landersvichian corporations also plan to continue to grow within the nation. After the recent European Bubble, the companies have room for growth and have the ability to obtain cheaper debt via the central bank. The continued expansion in Africa, Carpathia, and Asia Minor are all predicted to contribute to further economic growth.

Infrastructure projects in Landersvich have also been completed; upgraded highways, bridges, airports, and electrical systems are online. The 4% that was used to create the upgraded infrastructure will be attributed to Military funding - giving defense spending 20% of the budget. Government infrastructure funding will return to normal maintenance funding from this point forward.

The money that was previously put into jet R&D has paid off. The introduction and immediate adoption of the Adler-92 (Panavia Tornado) will commence immediately. The outdated Saab 105's will be sold (at a reduced price) to allies, all of whom will be indicated at a later date. Overall, the new aircraft, which have a slightly higher production cost, will have smaller maintenance cost due to their better and newer design - this will in turn average out the cost of the aircraft for the military.

African Economic Pact

Landersvichan officials have announced plans to help their allies and friends in the emerging markets of Africa! Mbale, The Igbo Republic, and The Kingdom of Algiers will have Landersvichian foreign direct investment, via HLR, Laitz Waffen (in Algiers and Igbo), Gaulbert Erbauer (Construction), and Neue Energie LP (Energy). The companies will issue loans, construct sufficient infrastructure, and develop local businesses that the governments of each respective country would run for their own profit. Each nationalized company will have a Landersvichian company as a minority stakeholder (under 50% ownership). The pact is estimated to boost the African nations economies tremendously - while also developing Landersvichian businesses. Due to this agreement, Gaulbert Erbauer will also help Mbale construct the water facilities they will be purchasing with the 5 billion Mark Bond issued by HLR at a break-even price. Engineers expect that this will drastically cut down construction time for the new water plants - which will be owned and operated by the Mbale government completely.

Landersvich will also allow for free trade to commence between these nations and Landersvich in Europe; They will be creating a multi-national trade district for the African nations to trade among themselves, duty-free, in Landersvich. Foreign Investments


Corporations across Yahel has seen this internal growth and they have predicted what will happen next. In an interview with Zamil Al-Shunab, owner of GRA Chemicals, he stated that "Soon Yahel will become prime industrial real estate, and us business owners must prepare for this. With Yahelian land prices on the rise, we will need more income, and for more income, we must look outwards... outwards to the international market.". Yahel has seen a sharp increase in investments towards developing nations. Commercial and industrial land is being snatched up as fast as Yahelians can. In some cases, companies are racing each other to outbuy each other. Areas targeted include Santa Rosa, "Persia" and economically free African nations(Where available), with several companies planning on investing in Lasir once stabilized. Some companies seeing the largest growth include those investing in agriculture. With the current Lasir events, Yahel has seen one of its cheapest exporters rendered useless and thus prices for agricultural goods have seen a steep increase. Velasco and Santa Rosa form economic agreement
The two neighbors will increase political and economic ties

SANTA ROSA - Earlier today, ambassador Cebolla Negra of Velasco and our very own foreign minister Georgio Mendez met near the border of our two nations to discuss a new economic and political cooperation agreement. Velasco will be increasing it's political and economic ties to Santa Rosa in return for development and security.

The agreement laid out a plan to open several of Velasco's undeveloped oil fields to Petrosa, the Santa Rosan state oil company, for development and extraction. Petrosa will also employ tens of thousands of Velascans to decrease the country's overall unemployment and boost it's economy.

The Republic of Velasco will also eventually begin an integration process to become a state of Santa Rosa, though the details on this matter are still being ironed out. The current government of Velasco would retain it's position if it were to become a state.

Velasco and Santa Rosa are friendly partners and will continue to be so.

MONTEVIDEO, GRANDI ALBERI - Ethnic and political tensions in Grandi Alberi have culminated with hundreds of thousands of Comarcan-speaking members of the Platense community taking the streets to ask for Santa Rosa's intervention in the country.

Our recent aggressive expansion has led to the following observations:


1. An estimated 2,300,000 paramilitary forces are required to maintain optimal productivity in new territories. The cost to provide for these forces is estimated to be ~$155Bn/yr.
2. Infrastructure repair is slow going due to partisan activity near major points of interest. Existing damage estimates range between $250Bn-$300Bn to bring the new territories up to par. Maintenance of existing functional infrastructure requires $78Bn/yr.
3. Soldier compensation and veteran support will require $115Bn/yr following the most recent campaign. $330Bn in unfulfilled benefits also need to be budgeted for.
4. Re-education programs for workers to begin adjusting to non-exploitative production methods are estimated to require $38Bn/yr.
5. Disability care and public health will require $700Bn/yr to maintain current standards.
6. New education programs for the inherited youth of traitor states will require a minimum of $60Bn/yr to operate, though $325Bn is required to meet our standards.



With all the new liabilities inherited by the Union we expect the fiscal survival of our nation to cease in 18 months. We recommend immediate austerity measures to buy enough time for productivity to normalize.

Department of Defence of the American Federation July 14th, 1992 NOT TO BE REDISTRIBUTED Budget Alterations regarding current circumstances ​ The Department of Defence, Department of Finance and Commerce and Central Planning Authority have compiled a list of new changes to the Federation's military make up and budget. 1. 500,000 paramilitary forces will be sourced for security in the Caribbean, Western States and Toluca. A new organisation known as the Civil Guard, will make up the bulk of this 500,000. Former military soldiers will be encouraged to join this Civil Guard. On top of the Civil Guard, extra police staff and funding will be supplied in high risk areas. 2. 300,000 soldiers will be drafted into the military. These soldiers will only be drafted from the Central States Area. In addition to this, billions is being committed to increased training and equipment to better match the quality of our neighbours. 3. 350 M1 Abrams tanks are being contracted from Denver-based arms company, Titus Defence Systems. In addition to this, 200 F/A-18 Hornet's will be contracted from Smith-Abbot Security. The cost, while great, is worth it to have stable defence against our enemies. 4. Monetary rewards will be given to helpful citizens who point out revolutionaries and political dissenters. This has not been publicly announced as of yet, but rewards will range from $10 - $50k for extremely helpful information. 5. A revised and ramped up education curriculum is in the works that will be implemented nation-wide. The new curriculum will coerce the new populations into accepting Denver's rule. 6. Healthcare subsidies and benefits are being slashed to afford new military expenses. The only major program remaining is the Senior's Security Program. This decision will be unpopular but it will only be temporary. The survival of our Federation depends on it. 7. Tourism projects orchestrated by the former Tolucan government have been cut or sold to private companies. They are simply too frivolous at this current time. Atar Maturk has recently returned from a trip to Yahel, a nation bordering Oghuz to the south, taking some time there not only to admire culture, sights, and architechture but to also help strengthen The bonds of The Oghuz Sultanate with The Empire of Yahel. After a few diplomatic talks, multiple investires into Cyprus were secured, with Oghuz development in Yahel seeming not too far. Atar also expressed his will for good relations between the 2 nations, as it can be beneficial to both.

​Construction of Capitol Complete






After months of construction, interrupted by the deadly earthquake earlier this year, the capitol building is complete. Government officials that oversee North Island will operate in the left angular base section, and South Island on the right. Chieftess Scott, Chief Adams, and International Representative Arikiwi will be working out of the lowest level of the upper section. One floor above them will be a Yangaean historical museum, open to domestic visitors next Friday and international visitors on September 1. One floor above this will be the official advisors board, a collection of 20 individuals appointed by the three leaders to help suggest and vote on legislation. 9 have been chosen from each major Island, as well as 2 chosen by Arikiwi to represent Xatian interests.









A monument was also erected in Christchurch (shown at left), dedicated as a symbol of the need for religious and cultural cooperation. Government construction workers will stay busy, as another construction project in Xate is well underway. Chieftess Scott has confirmed that it is related to talks of forming a Pacific Union with neighboring island nations. More on this is to come soon.

MI6 will conduct covert operations within Tanah Naga to leak and create fraudulent claims from Japanese officials in attempted aggressive expansion into Tanah Naga and the Region. MI6 will only be answerable to the Prime Minister of Britannia. A small factional team within MI6 will be used to conduct the operation. The ranks of MI6 operatives used will be filled with Britannia Radical nationalists as well as Imperialists. The operation is to be conducted with absolute secrecy and any leaks will be dealt with in the appropriate manner.

The mandate of the Operation is to frame Japan for attempted aggressive expansion into Tanah Naga as well as frame Tanah Naga politicians for collusion with Japan, ultimately displaying corruption. The methods to complete the task will be fierce, including; leakage of documents, political killing of Tanah Naga nationalists and display of corruption funds from Z-Tech as well as other espionage activities.

The Goal of the operation is to scare Perth of Japan aggressive expansion into the region. Furthermore, to offer protection to the state through military and economic means, with the eventual goal of full integration into the New Britannia Empire.
