I saw someone on twitter talking about how stories used to all have happy endings and sad endings are only more common now because modern writers need to "shock" people.

All I want to do now it climb through his computer monitor and force him to read basically all of human literature.

When I was younger, I used to read a fair bit more than I do now ( :( ) and the first thing I used to do in the morning the moment I woke up would be to grab my book and continue where I left off right before I went to sleep. I've had that happen. The dreams when I was reading Ulysses were particularly interesting.

Also, TIL one of my ancestors had connections to the mafia and was a fugitive. Apparently he was arrested for charges connected to gambling but he skipped bail and ran away to Oregon where he lived for some time before he was caught and extradited back to West Virginia.

Don't know unfortunately. I know his real name (which I'm not stating because personal information; he wasn't really that famous anyway) and his assumed name (also not sharing; besides it was just a normal-sounding name).
