Electronic ignitions are pointless.

On the one hand the C3 has a bigger conventional bootspace than the 208. On the other once you drop the back seats you get more capacity in the 208.
And annoyingly all the used examples of both are old enough to only have MirrorLink rather than Android Auto. So can't hook my phone in.

Which I am sure will fail like always. Peugeot has poor brand recognition, its products entirely unsuited to the market, and the market is already pretty saturated.
Why would someone buy a Peugeot if the other, better offerings out there?
What unfilled niche does it seek to fill?

It's funny to read such fetishizing of these cars. They're ordinary cars through and through, with some unusual styling choices.

It's context. The only time I found a 57 Chevy Bel Air impressive as in Switzerland, but over in the states, they're common classic cars. It's like that, where as something like Peugeot is a generic, regular car in many European countries. But in America, it becomes a weird niche, it's different than the usually fare of the Toyota Camry, pickup trucks, and small SUVs. Relative taste.

Mini and Tesla are doing fine despite fewer if any dealers in some states. Peugeot will have an uphill battle, but Fiat also started out with essentially zero.

It's almost like foreign manufacturers have successfully introduced themselves to the US market repeatedly and wouldn't be unheard of for one to do it again.
