Presidential Campaign
With a sweeping win projected for the Kluthenian Liberty Party nominee Eohhere Redman, along with his vice candidate Hunsige Smythe, the Kerman/Coleman campaign has been hard at work all over the country, trying desperately to overturn the party's humiliation after the impeachment of Allnut Kerman, the Union Kluthenia platform this race has been a promise for a government transparency program and to mend the bi-partisan nature of the Federal Council. The KLP campaign team however, has a different idea, they're much more worried about the economic crisis that was recently caused, and have built a platform based on rebounding from this and becoming an emerging economic power. Redman said on his plans in a rally in Cotoazul: "Our bipartisanship has allowed us to come very close to bringing take home income back to pre crisis levels, but we shouldn't be all focused on that, out tax rate is currently just over 59%. Something that high is unacceptable, I will work with the council to bring the Kluthenian people a massive tax cut. You know, out current nominal GDP per capita is 24 grand, If our tax rates were at pre crisis levels, the number would jump to 35 grand, which would be the highest ever recorded. Just think of how much money you could bring home if we had the old tax rates. You would have much more to use on your life, your family's life, your dreams and new businesses. But we must go further, there's almost a billion of ya, we don't need half the countries money to have a functioning government. My proposed tax cuts will prioritize the signing of bills that will hopefully bring the tax rate down to under 15%. We will reshape the Kluthenian lifestyle, so that everyone can live a life full of dreams, liberty, family bonding, happiness, and a sense of security the likes of which the rest of the world can only dream of."
It is speeches like these that make the Redman/Smythe slogan of "Shape Kluthenia, Shape Dreams" so memorable and hopeful. While the Kerman/Coleman slogan of "Mend and Change" seems dull and bleak in comparison, this impeachment was probably the decider of this race, even before a vote has been cast.

The Parliament of East Kormooc will hold its first election and has nominated individuals from varying parties to fight for the position of top dog. Chief Commissar and former Grand Marshal of the East Kormoocian Army, Abdul Sulam, has positioned himself on a platform to oppose Cykoslevinia wherever they might be and to be rid of socialism as a whole. He is a member of Anticommune Action (ACA). Head of the Office of the Presidium and Veteran from the Second Kuetan War, Konstantin Ayliman has rallied socialists all over the nation on the basis that, "If we let Sulam into the Office of the Supreme Soviet of East Kormooc, we will be destroying everything our fallen comrades and I fought to establish.". He is a member of the Labour Party. Head of the Casab Informational Society, Ahraita Koriyamav, has gathered scientists and other educated citizens around the cause of better education and neutrality. She is a member of the Centrist Movement. The 32% Cykoslevine Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yuri Andropov, has staged a socialist movement out of the ashes of the fall of the UKSR, he stated that "We owe our allegiance to Cykoslevinia, if not for them we wouldn't even be here today. They gave us equipment and money so that we could prosper, they gladly gave us independence when we asked for it. I'm not saying a return to the Dominion of Ostkormok, I'm saying that we shouldn't shove away our allies.". He is a member of the Social Front.

The President is elected by a popular vote every 4 years, and has a two term limit.
