Filindo, that might be the nicest color scheme I've seen on any racecar IC or OOC.

A note of the pending... I plan to update my course with a new one designed by Nekoni. The road course is fun, but we could stand for something new. Drosopol Circuit will be in Esportiva proper, instead of hours north of the Esportivan map. This should make IC travel between races easier if the host brings races from region to region again. It should be in by the 5th. If not I'll do the road race once more.

Mirrors Racing to Return to WGPC?
Starblaydia GP also in talks to appear on race calendar

Image

The team that competed in two long-past WGPCs and provided one champion in the ice-cool hero Jai Kardaeri revealed themselves to be on the backup list of teams for the 17th edition of the World Grand Prix Championship. Team owner Jose "Mirrors" Miranda unveiled the car which has the potential to join twelve other teams on the track should the space become available.

Plenty of Starblaydi companies have already signed up to put their names on the car, including vodka brand Orcinus and its sub-brand mixer of Orca-Cola, Vega bank - who also sponsor Liga Starblaydia - along with Sideria Shop, Jumbo, Bazaburger and more. Tyres are confirmed to be provided by Tropicorp, should the entry be granted, meaning that good old Calanian rubber, so dominant in Hodori motorsports previously, will be sticking the Mirrors car to the roads of the multiverse at the highest of speeds.

One of those tracks could be the Azure Harbour circuit, so beloved of racers for its test of skill, and adored by racer goers for the Marina and forest sections. The Starblaydi GP has offered itself up to be one of the tracks on the list again, although with stiff competition from freshly custom-built tracks around the multiverse, it'll be a tough ask for the beautiful old circuit. It also hasn't been confirmed whether former WGPC Drivers' Champion Jai Kardaeri will be racing for Mirrors again or not, as he's already said to be in talks with confirmed teams and, as must be stressed, this Mirrors car still hasn't officially been accepted into the championship season yet. Although with these sleek looks being the only thing that actually has been confirmed, how could it not be?

BIO: Dom Falepeau (21 years old) is a Togonistani race car driver born in Tushlark, capital city of Togonistan. He started racing at the age of 15, when he participated in Togonistan Rallycross Junior League, finishing the season on top of the leaderboards. A year later he was picked up by Kaylan Racing team and signed a contract with them. He was going to participate in TTRL (Togonistan Track Racing League), considered to be the most prestigious domestic racing league in Togonistan. However, due to his young age and lack of experience, he didn't get a spot in their representative team. Instead, he was given on loan to Domerton Motorsports. For seasons 2012 and 2013, he participated in TTRL representing Domerton Motorsports. He showed some promising results, ranked at the end of season 12th and 9th respectively. In 2014, he was a reserve driver for Kaylan Motors Racing, until 2015, when he became driver #2 for the team. He ended up 6th in 2015 season and 2nd in 2016 season. At the end of 2016, his contract with Kaylan Motors Racing ended and, encouraged by his old team manager, Falepeau decided to try it out at the international stage.

In 2017, Falepeau jumped aboard the WGP2 train. Being a rather unknown driver to the international stage, he eventually ended up signing a 1-year long contract with New Scaiva and Horshenwurst-based Junixwagen team. WGP2 2017 season was a rough ride for Falepeau, who's time there was often accompanied by either mechanical failures on his car or getting dragged into mass crashes. Eventually, Falepeau ended the season on a mere 22nd place in Drivers' standing, with 6th place achieved in Yakumicha GP2 Challenge being his best result.

In 2018, Falepeau joined the 2nd season of WGP2 in the ranks of MRT2. Being the team's sole driver for the entire season, Falepeau ended the season on 11th place in the drivers standing with 42 points under his name.

I'm hoping to conjure up something fancier at some point before the season begins. We are also looking for two minor international sponsors for the remaining gaps on the car's livery.

It's a bit less garish this time, although only a bit.

MRT Reveal Livery for Title Defending Season

MFO SPORT

Image

The Mattijana Racing Team have released an image of their livery design for the upcoming WGPC season, in which they will attempt to defend their maiden constructor's title.

The design of the MRT-17-A is a little toned-down compared to their previous three, but still incorporates the bright green and a few of the splashes of colour that have characterised the team's paintwork since WGPC 14 on top of a predominantly forest green chassis. The background to the Mattijanan flag features on the nose, back and side-panel of the car whilst the marmot emblem is proudly displayed on the rear wing.

The other major change is an increase in the number of sponsors associated with the team. MRT remain a state-sponsored team as before, but in the wake of their championship victory, have opted to display not only the logo of tyre-provider Petrovi, but also those of fuel-provider SneznGas, the WGPC, MFO Sport, the Kopylov InternazionRing and language-learning platform MattiSprak.

Team Principal Johan Struna welcomed the new sponsorship deals in a press conference at the Kopylov InternazionRing earlier today. He spoke to reporters following the car's first test-run around the track in the new colours.

"We're hugely grateful for the funding from the Department of Sport that has allowed us to be so successful the last three years, but we also welcome some new investment which will allow us to continue our development and hopefully come away with a trophy or two at the end of the coming season. The field this year looks even more competitive than ever, so we need to use that investment wisely and constructively. I'm sure VMR will be looking to continue their great record and I'd expect Nexus racing to be much more competitive this year, among others. It's a great opportunity to prove that we're still at the top of our game though."

Struna also spoke about the team's planned driver lineup for the season. Sigur Bjarnason is expected to re-join the team after a successful first season in the sport whilst a number of drivers have been linked with the number two spot, including Mattijana's own Jasmin Kranjska.

"We've agreed a deal with Sigur for the season, so as long as the paperwork goes through ok with the WGPO when registration opens, he'll be joining us. We're looking at a few different options for the other car. Jasmina's had a great introduction to the WGPC, so she's certainly in the frame, but there's a lot of talent out there."

As the team's unofficial test driver, Kranjska drove the MRT-17-A earlier, but that is no guarantee she will be chosen as the team's number two having performed the same role for the last two seasons.

As well as another driver, MRT are also looking for minor international sponsorship to fill two remaining spots on the car. These are below and behind the air intake, as well as on the bottom of the rear wing's side-panel. The team are open-minded as to the type of company or state organisation they will accept.

MRT are the fifth team to reveal their WGPC17 livery, following in the footsteps of McPahan WGPC Motorworks, Cambden Racing, Badai-Angin and Mirrors Racing. The latter are making their return to WGPC racing with the Starblaydi outfit hoping to move off the waiting-list and into the 12 team field for race 1.

Carsten O’Rourke competed for McPahan’s junior team McPahan Link in Audioslavia’s shortened WGP3 domestic season, distinguishing himself as a cool-headed driver able consistently to pilot a strong car to the upper echelons of the standings. O’Rourke is a quiet and determined professional, quite unlike the typical boozy, leery Audioslavian race driver. As a result, he does get labelled ‘boring’ in the Audioslavian press fairly often, not least due to his habit of giving overly technical answers to questions in press conference, delivered in a cold west-Audioslavian accent. Don't underestimate him, though. Behind the walls there's a very dry sense of humour and a burning love for Audioslavian football club AC Izotz Zubia, whose crest he wears on the back of his helmet.

Twenty-six year-old O’Rourke is no longer under any kind of contract with McPahan and is said to be offering his services to a number of mid-ranked teams this season.

After many years of supplying engines to the joint MSA-SinVal ventures in both the WGPC and the inaugural WGP2 series with little success, the EAMR stripped that joint venture of its international licencing and gave it to SinVal's solo venture. Of the joint venture, only team principal Tadeo Durand remains, although mostly in an advisory role on race strategy. Alaina Navarro is the new team principal, and will oversee the team's operations with a brand new hybrid race engine, which was designed brand new for the SinVal cars that help Dalia Dahl to an Olympic victory in the recent Republica Games.

SECOND CHOICE CAR NUMBER: #77
EXPERIENCE: WGPC14 - Finished 10th with 45 points for Carvenlo-Franklin Racing.
WGPC15 - Finished 19th with 15 points for Wilson.
WGPC16 - Finished 29th with 0 points for Kissan Motorsport.

Reliability (MAX 5): 4.1

Technique (MAX 5):4.7

Write something about your driver: Ethan is becoming something of a veteran in WGPC, although not exactly a very good one. In his first season, Ethan was a member of the Carvenlo-Franklin Racing team from Liventia, where he found moderate success. He started off the season well, coming 5th in his first race in Hodori and second race in Aels, and finishing 2nd in the Gran Premio Guayabalense, constantly placing himself as a top-10 racer and quite often pushing for the top 5, but a few technical issues with the car meant that overall, he ended up finishing 10th in the drivers standings.

In his second season, he signed for Wilson where he didn't have quite such a great season. He obtained only 15 points across the whole season, leaving him in a finishing position of 19th within the championship standings. He'll be looking for a strong comeback this season.

Ellis is a relatively technical driver, which can sometimes be detrimental to his aggressiveness on the track, but he doesn't sit back in races either. However, he thinks of himself as a reliable driver and would be a beneficial sign to any team who wishes for him. He is looking to improve on his previous performances and show how capable he can be, if in the right mindset and given a chance.

ABILITY:

Technique (MAX 5): 5
Experience: WGPC15: Crashed out in pre-season and ended up in a coma.
WGPC16: Entered but didn't get a team.
BIO: Benjamin was always an avid follower of racing, especially the World Grand Prix Championships. He always had a keen eye when it came to competition, and he was picked up for this by a talent scout who saw him at a birthday party at the age of seven. He then took up go-kart racing competitively, where he proceeded to climb up the ranks in the racing pyramid, reaching the top tier as Ethan Ellis entered his first season in the WGPC. Inspired by Ethan, Benjamin went on to win the top tier of Go-Karting in Ethane. Wanting to follow in Ethan's footsteps, he applied to join the WGPC, knowing that it was a long-shot considering his relative inexperience in actual cars, and his relative youth. However, when considering how he has grown, a large company decided to sponsor him in his application, and he was chosen to be the second WGPC applicant for Ethane. He is a very aggressive driver, so in many ways is a different driver to Ethan Ellis, considering his lack in technicalities. However, he does try to replicate Ellis in terms of reliability, and is a great driver for any team to choose, as he will do his best out there.

Sadly, he didn't get to participate in the last season of the WGPC. In practice for Fireline - the team he signed for - he ended up crashing out and entered into an induced coma in hospital, where he lay for 3 months. However, his crash has not dampened his love for motorsports and racing at all, and one of the first things he wanted to do after getting out the coma was to get back into a racing car. He didn't get a drive in WGPC16 though and didn't try to enter WGPC17, but is willing to give it another go.

Circuit to come.

Guilhermez isn't the flash, boy-racer type, but rather gets his kicks from feeling his way around the nuances of the car. This technical driving style earned him much respect from the ATR team in Season 13, as his ability to feed back useful information during practice helped the team get the most out of a somewhat average car. Of course, Season 14's car was such a dog that not even he could help. And let's not get started on that Taeshani-built abomination from Season 15...bad enough that Steb decided to take a sabbatical last season.

MARGIN FOR ERROR: 2.0

QUALIFYING: Two-Tier
LAP RECORD: 1m 28.385s (Esteban Guilhermez, ATR, WGPC 13 Testing)
LENGTH OF ONE LAP: 4.160km
DESCRIPTION: A nice mix of wide track and tricky corners, the Argentring has been the premier venue of Krytenia's domestic racing scene for many years. After some upgrades prior to WGPC13, the circuit made its debut on the international scene last season. Let's run down a lap, shall we?

Your tour starts at Heath Chicane. The tight third gear right-hander will sort out the men from the boys at the cars scream down the start-finish straight ; if you can find a line to overtake here, the left-hander that follows can be taken at acceleration speed. A nice zoom along the straight brings you to the test of bravery that is Redwater - dare you go flat out at close to 170mph, or do you play it safe and lift? Either way, you'll be slowing down for the left-right kink of the Gatehouse Chicane. Next up is The Spit. This will test neck muscles as the drivers tap the brakes for the first part of the corner, then mash the throttle as the turn unwinds into the Auld Runway back straight.

The so called "Stadium Section" is next; The Farm Chicane is a brake tester, whilst Paddock, Newell, and Beveridge are all nice wide turns with plenty of chance to overtake. The Esses, meanwhile, have been the scene of many a crash as the open, winding turns give the illusion of more space than there actually is. Check your wing mirrors. Hard on the brakes through the Point hairpin, as cars used to 150mph+ speeds are forced to slow to around forty.

The final sector starts with the tricky double-apex right-hander at R2. It's speed versus gravity as the cars go uphill to the tight right-left at the Hill Chicane, over the crest and downhill through the slightly misnomered Crest Corner (which is actually on the downhill slope). A nice sweeping downhill corner - Sweepdown - takes us back to level ground and the finish line.

PREFERRED CAR NUMBER: 22
SECOND CHOICE CAR NUMBER: 23, 32

Reliability: 3
Aggression: 4.5
Technique: 4.5
Experience: N/a

BIO: Jelena Colac-Strek was born in Vutosko just outside of the city of Prizren. Vutosko is famous for one thing and one thing only within Mytanija and that is that it is the domestic headquarters of the country's only luxury sports car manufacturer Petrinja. Petrinja are known for creating super cars and have heavy involvement in domestic karting and it was this fortunate quirk of fate - being born in the hometown of Petrinja - that connects Colac-Strek to racing. As a teenager she visited the Petrinja Factory with her father and began karting at the small circuit they have there, racing initially in the cadet class. Her progression from there on was swift and she was soon racing at a much higher level in vehicles with bigger engines and has applied herself successfully, winning competitions all over the country including the National Championship two years ago.

Motor racing tends to only be popular in working class, right-leaning communities and this has often meant that Colac-Strek has faced criticism when competing domestically. Many are surprised that a woman is competing against men and the fact that she often beats them make her a particularly obvious lightning rod for many working class, socially right-leaning men's anxieties about their own inadequacies and position within society. Colac-Strek is 21 and from a different generation of Mytanars who are unanimous in support for gender equality etc and has dealt with criticism she has received excellently - like anyone faced with significant criticism for prolonged periods she has occasionally bit back and when she has this has revealed a fiery character beneath her usually calm and measured exterior.

Domestic motor racing in Mytanija isn't of the highest standard, in terms of both the drivers and their vehicles. However, Colac-Strek's technical ability and fearlessness when trying to find a gap through which she can overtake have led to her looking abroad for opportunities to race at a higher level. Some domestic commentators believe that going straight in at WGPC level could be a mistake in her fledgling career and that she should develop her reliability at a lower level of racing. Whilst her technical ability is good, developed on the often difficult Mytanar circuits and her knack for overtaking should serve her well wherever she lands up, many teams may have a question mark surrounding her ability to manage a vehicle and ensure it stays in one-piece. The fact she hasn't raced outside Mytanija in a top-level series or even top-level racing car, will also be an issue for some.

However, it is her backers that have pushed her on, believing that her marketability as a young woman in motor racing and more generally as an extremely popular character in Mytanija (something they hope can transfer onto a multiversal stage), make her a worthwhile risk. They are of course looking to make money from this too, but Colac-Strek could be a good bet if she can secure a WGPC seat this season. Any team bringing Colac-Strek into the fold could expect both her personal sponsorship as well as financial backing for the team too - particularly from chocolate/confectionery company Kikinda (also the sponsors of the prospective Mytanar Grand Prix), and brewers Guinec.

QUALIFYING TYPE: Two-Tier
LAP RECORD: N/a
LENGTH OF ONE LAP: 5.81km
BIO: The Nacionalni Autodrom Rebecna - known colloquially as Rebecna - is a racetrack renowned for its high-speed straights and heavy braking zones. Located just outside Miago, the venue welcomes the infamously partisan Groznicavi on important race weekends. Mytanar motor racing's most passionate fans - who spectate in a fashion that many ultras groups that follow football or multi-sport clubs would be proud of - sing, wave enormous flags and are incredibly biased towards those they consider to be their local driver and teams. Groznicavi comes from the Vojovitican for 'fever', a suitable adjective to describe the manner in which these particular motor racing enthusiasts support their chosen racer. The race is currently sponsored by Mytanar chocolate and confectionery giants Kikinda and their blue logo will be highly visible around the track for all to see.

The track starts with what feels like an unusually long run down to Turn 1 (with this long run forming a part of the unusually long start/finish straight), which should give the drivers plenty to think about as they're jostling for position into that first turn following the start of the race. Turn 1 and Turn 2 are known together as Preokret (Vojovitican for 'reversal'), and together form a difficult start to the race, with the opening lap of races often being fraught with danger and Rebecna is no different to this norm. Running off at Turn 1 can happen, but here there is a wide tarmac area which will allow drivers to rejoin the race. It is perhaps the most forgiving corner of the entire track, with the designers perhaps willing to give racers a chance given the long straight running into the corner. For the most part the remainder of the track doesn't have quite this same level of forgiveness.

Drivers will proceed to Turn 3 following Preokret and this can be important in positioning for the relatively straight section than follows. Some have described Turn 4 (Most Dolenec) and 5 as being 'barely there' and this is a relatively speedy section of the racetrack. It is worth bearing in mind that following Most Dolenec (this is actually an old bridge at Turn 4 that crosses a stream), the track runs slightly uphill and whilst it shouldn't present any major issues it is something that drivers will have to remember.

Turn 6 is a blind right-hander that runs into Turn 7 - known as Kukolja for a driver that inexplicably ended his race at the same exact spot three years in a row - which proceeds into the straight, downhill section of track that runs down to the series of turns (8, 9 and 10) known as Mačja Kolijevka (translates as 'Cat's Cradle'). This downhill section of track can be a useful spot for overtaking, with a heavy braking zone heading into Mačja Kolijevka helping somewhat too. Turns 8 through 11 are the most technical section of the entire racetrack and the tight walls of the stands that are almost right up against the track here give the spectators an excellent view of the action too. Turn 11 is known as Lakat ('elbow') and concludes this technical section.

Following Lakat, the drivers build-up speed into the final corner of the track: Turn 12, Parabolična. The section before Parabolična allows cars to build-up speed and it's an extremely fast final section, a good exit and slipstream can create an opportunity for passing in the start/finish straight, but it is also not an unusual sight to see two cars racing alongside each other through Parabolična following the high-speed straight prior to Turn 12. The pit lane runs on the inside after Parabolična. The final turn can be quite unforgiving due to the high-speed approach and speed through the corner too, the tight nature of the track against the walls of the stands running alongside can also mean that overcooking the corner can result in a crash.

Darjengo Circuit is one of the premier motor racing venues in Sajnur. It is a high speed circuit with long straights and sweeping curves, but also has plenty of sharp corners which provide ample overtaking. It has been a historically popular circuit on the Sajnuran Sports Car Championship calendar, regularly filling its 250,000 capacity, and had historically hosted older grand prix before two wars with other countries made international travel to Sajnur unsafe. Those wars have long since stopped, but Sajnur has only recently found itself in a position to host international sporting events. The Sports Cars have reached upwards of 390km/h on the start finish straight, and 360km/h before Turn 17. The start/finish line is positioned just before the sharp Turn 1. The circuit is actually relatively narrow given how fast much of it is, and drivers have to be very careful. Grass lines much of the circuit, but there are gravel traps with separate several metres of grass from the barriers at high speed braking zones. Turns 15 and 16 are tests of bravery as high speeds are achievable on a section of track that is barely four cars wide, and Turn 9 will catch many people out as it is very narrow and the Armco on the left hand side is unforgiving. Speeds here are around 40-50km/h.

The PRT17 livery has been drastically reworked from last season. Whereas the inaugural design was a purple over-developed montrosity, this year's offering has its sights firmly on simplicity, with the bold colours of the Polaris team speaking for themselves. Sponsorship has increased, too, with the previous sponsors all reapplying, plus some additional acquisitions: from the youth-oriented IceFoxx Energy drinks company to the high-value Fontaine Chronography watchmakers, the Polaris brand is spreading, and coupled with strong performances on the track, the brand will strive to emerge as the dominant force in motorsport, in both Nekoni and abroard.

The styling continues elsewhere, too. With more and more facets of design becoming bespoke to give a stronger impression of brand identity, Polaris Racing Team today also unveil their new corporate typeface, to be used with all Polaris branding commencing today:

The oldest circuit in Dritten Asopie, it is also the only regular one in here. While other states have street circuits, Phvimbap state chose to go the further step and built this.
It was the last race of the Dritten Asopie Grand Prixe Series to take place before the Kurgon Rebellion. Here, Carnétier won the race, with leader Frohlman crashing in the 23 turn. Hence, Carnétier clinched his championship. Now we want to take it International, so here we are.

NAME OF CIRCUIT: Talbott Autodrome
CITY/TOWN: Talbott
COUNTRY: Liventia
NAME OF GRAND PRIX: Grand Prix of Liventia presented by Liventia Airways

TRACK RATING: 3/7
CHANCE OF RAIN: (%) 1
OVERTAKING DIFFICULTY: 3.5
MARGIN FOR ERROR: 2

QUALIFYING TYPE: Traditional
LAP RECORD: 1:40.071
LENGTH OF ONE LAP: 6.239 km / 3.876 mi (49 laps)
BIO: The Grand Prix of Liventia normally rotates between the Talbott Autodrome and Neverend's Gold Park Circuit. The Autodrome was meant to host the Grand Prix of Liventia in WGPC16, but external politics meant the race never took place. As such, Motorsport Liventia and the two tracks have agreed to nominate Talbott again this season.

The Autodrome is also nicknamed 'The Dog' for its layout.

Coming down the start-finish straight from turn 21, drivers build up a fair amount of speed before braking for a tight section that comprise turns 1 and 2. Turn 2 is a second-gear right-hander leading onto a technical section of esses up through turn 6, where the first intermediate is located. This is a section not taken at above fourth gear.

Turn 6 is a smooth left-hander onto a very short straight before a sharp hairpin at turn 7, which leads into one of the faster sections of the circuit. Turn 8 is a fifth-gear right hander before a sharp breaking point at turn 9 which is a second-gear corner. A small 'S' later and we're onto a section of the track with three quick chicanes in a row, which leads to another hairpin at 14.

14 through 16 is a fairly quick section, but 16 is another hairpin. From here onwards it's almost totally flat-out with a nice, long straight leading up to the quick left-right combination of 18 and 19 before a last hairpin at 20 leads back onto the main straight.

The technicality of the track means cars with poor reliability tend to fair better here as cars aren't all-out through the whole circuit. It is technically situated in the Folenisa Desert, which makes rain unlikely, though not impossible—when it does rain, it drenches everything.

It is not impossible to overtake on the circuit, although it feels like a street circuit in parts, and it is more difficult than on a usual track. There are no walls, however, only gravel pits and run-off areas, which helps avoid major safety car incidents.

Recent winners:
WGPC12: Alexander Lund (McPahan)
WGPC14: R.L. Cruisin (Carvenlo–Franklin)

Once again, Sorlovia is excited and eager to enter the WGPC! We have been waiting eagerly for the chance to race in WGPC17.

NAME: Gregori Krupin
NATION: Sorlovia
CAR NUMBER: 27

ABILITY:
Reliability (MAX 5): 4
Aggression (MAX 5): 4
Technique (MAX 5): 4
These three numbers can add up to a maximum of twelve! For example: 4,5,3 or 3,4,5 or 4,4,4 etc

Write something about your driver:

BIO:

At twenty four years old Gregori Krupin is the face of Grand Prix racing in Sorlovia. He made his debut on the international racing stage as a paid racer with the Vannish Motors Racing Team in WGPC16. Although he failed to secure a podium finish in WGPC16 he succeeded in gaining invaluable racing experience which is expected to be a rewarding boost to the future of his career. He returns for WGPC17 with just as much ambition and passion but now having an understanding of the intense pressures of the international grand prix world. Gregori hopes to be able to race with VMR again having immensely enjoyed their team spirit last season.

Gregori is also a nationally-ranked and accomplished racer back home in his native Sorlovia. He placed second in the 2016 Sevayev Grand Prix and more recently secured a first place position in the 2018 Kamensk Gran Prix receiving the coveted Kamensk Cup. He continued his intense training regime after WGPC16 in order to keep his driving skills sharp and to prepare for the upcoming WGPC17. He continues to be as intensely focused and ambitious as he was as a rookie with a sheer determination to do the best he can do. Gregori has confirmed that he is aiming for a first-place position in the next season and has his sights set on taking out the Championship.

In the lead up to WGPC Season 17 Gregori is noted to have adopted a more measured and even approach with an equal focus on reliability, aggression and technique. As a racer he has been seen to favour a more balanced approach utilizing aggression when required but also believing reliability and technique to be equally important.
NAME: Dmitri Sokolov
NATION: Sorlovia
CAR NUMBER: 26

ABILITY:
Reliability (MAX 5): 3
Aggression (MAX 5): 5
Technique (MAX 5): 4
These three numbers can add up to a maximum of twelve! For example: 4,5,3 or 3,4,5 or 4,4,4 etc

Write something about your driver:

BIO:

At twenty seven Dmitri is the second-most promising racer in Sorlovia. Despite his failure to earn a place on a team in WGPC16 he has confirmed that he will return for the next season and that he is determined to secure a place on a team this time around. In order to improve his chances he has spent his time in an intense training regime to hone his skills in preparation for his entrance in the WGPC17. Despite taking out first place in the 2016 Sevayev Grand Prix and 2018 Nemenyets Gran Prix he is still considered as being in second place standing to Gregori Krupin despite his higher national standing as a career racer. Because of this he maintains an energetic and sometimes heated rivalry with Gregori whom he regards as his most serious rival.

He will return in the next season as a WGPC rookie but a rookie with proven ability in the racing arena. Dmitri is an occasionally hot-headed young man known for his fiercely competitive nature and intense drive to succeed. He no longer feels challenged by the Sorlovian racing championships and as such has set his sights on a bigger prize.

In the lead up to WGPC Season 17 Dmitri is noted to have adopted his trademark aggressive style of racing with an emphasis on technique over reliability. Dimtri is known for being an aggressive racer focusing on speed and tight handling.

BIO: Season 14 champion Terho Talvela returns once again to the WGPC to contest his fourth season at motorsports' highest level, continuing with his previous team for the first time in his career. Originally a homegrown rally star, muddling around in the Abovian forests of Tetrislop, the now 28-year-old ported his off-road driving skills to sealed surface formula racing, leading him to a victorious rookie season in which both he and his team took their respective world titles. His subsequent title defense, at the wheel of an MRT, ended in spectacular fashion after an early collision with Jean Mercer-Daly at the final race of the season, and his third shot at a second taste of glory was overshadowed by Vannish Jessica Franssen's insurmountable skill. For season 17, Terho returns more level-headed than ever, having developed his team's car to his liking, with the full backing of the masterminds at Tropicorp, the same engineers that had conceived his dominant rookie title challenger.

QUALIFYING TYPE: One-shot (alternatively, two-tier)
LAP RECORD: 1:19.707 (testing time, no race time available)
LENGTH OF ONE LAP: 4.476km (layout C)
BIO: Lintulahti International Circuit is a race track purpose built for the WGPC in the wake of the closure of Furuhøytie Virtapiiri in Pæhkinoot, Aboveland. Layout B was used in its inaugural WGPC showing last year, though the shorter, quicker and more flowing layout C will be used this time around. Year round, the facility serves as Tropicorp Racing Ælund's main base and headquarters, and its tarmac is where virtually all of the multinational outfit's testing takes place.

The track is nestled between two hills which surround Lintulahti town's namesake bay, which the track crosses at its bottom edge, itself a portion of the larger Iskajärvi lake. The main straight is the highest and flattest point of the race track, as it descends down a quick, slightly winding downhill right-left turn towards the bottom of the hill and thus the shoreline. A series of esses over the still, crystalline waters launch the drivers from turn 8C up over a crest on the straight and back down to turn 8A, where the final two corners see the drivers snake their ways up the hill again to the start-finish line around a couple of panoramic spectating areas.

The track itself is wide enough to allow for plentiful overtaking opportunities and lenient time penalties for drivers who find themselves spinning out, which makes Lintulahti the ultimate showcase of speed, ability and bravery. However, it isn't speedway easy, and competitors should be especially careful going into the considerably narrow bay esses, where a sloppy line or lackluster exit means a massive time loss up and down the next straight.

LENGTH OF ONE LAP: 4.19 km
BIO: The wide and free-flowing nature of Diarcesian roads naturally rolls over to this raceway. The dedicated and illustrious test track of the Pryfors Bilar (PB) automotive company has witnessed countless moments of elation, despair, and twisted metal in its many decades of operation.

The Console-Passant's sharp and wide turn banks such that cars finishing the previous lap can retain much of their speed entering it. The still-high exit speeds and the wide-open track that follow up to the third turn has been called the Fury Road: a hotly-disputed stretch where the lead can swap hands several times in a lap. Following a forced slow-down on Turn Three, the narrowest segment of the track, the cars go full-speed again in the smooth turns Four and Five, followed by the dual 90-degree turns leading to the Cansay Drift.

The track then goes up in elevation with its apogee in turn 10, then goes downhill with a mild meandering stretch towards Turn 11. Another hot overtaking spot, the drivers must maintain their momentum here and on Turn 12 if they don't want to be left behind in the dust as the lap finishes.

Btw Audio, why are there two WGPC16s here?
E - WGPC16 (10th), WGPC16 (8th), WGPC15 (3rd) (all as engine-manufacturer for MSA SinVal)

NAME: Cesaro Whittaker
NAME TRIGRAM: WTK
NATIONALITY: Eastfielder
NATIONALITY TRIGRAM: EFL
PREFERRED CAR NUMBER: 31
SECOND CHOICE CAR NUMBER: 27

ABILITY:
Reliability (MAX 5): 5
Aggression (MAX 5): 3
Technique (MAX 5): 4
Experience: WGP2 S1 - 10th (54 pts), WGPC16 - 25th (5 points)

BIO: The 21 year old broke through the ranks in the domestic karting scene, where he was famed for his consistency as opposed to his outright pace, not winning much but finishing most races high in the points. He was set to be MSA's lead driver in the inaugural WGP2 season, but was forced out by the flashier Dalia Dahl. Not discouraged, he went and scored nearly double the points that Dahl did, with 2 third-place finishes and 5 top five placements in total from the 12 races. It was enough to earn him a call-up to the WGPC line-up as Louis Krindle's replacement, but despite his promise, he couldn't hack it at the top level. Nonetheless, despite a disappointing showing in the Olympics as he barely qualified for the race and then crashed out at the 75% distance, he's back, more mature and more experienced, and looking to make his mark.

NAME: Dalia Dahl
NAME TRIGRAM: DHL
NATIONALITY: Eastfielder
NATIONALITY TRIGRAM: EFL
PREFERRED CAR NUMBER: 63
SECOND CHOICE CAR NUMBER: 75

ABILITY:
Reliability (MAX 5): 2
Aggression (MAX 5): 5
Technique (MAX 5): 5
Experience: WGP2 S1 - 18th (29 pts, 1 win), WGP2 S2 - 17th (15 points)

BIO: Dahl entered the inaugural WGP2 season as an up and coming 21 year old who had been lighting up the lapboards domestically. She definitely showed some early promise, as she won the second race of the seasona, but only registered one more points finish (7th) to finish as the lowest ranked race winner, with 5 DNFs to boot. It was a bad enough season to lose her the race seat for MSA-SinVal in WGPC16 - forcing her into the second season of the WGP2, where she signed up for a mediocre Pompeii Motorsports team. It was a terrible car, and Dahl could only register three points finishes, her best result being 5th. Despite that, she dominated the Auto Racing demonstration event in Republica in the most recent Olympic Games, qualifying second and then winning the race by a full two laps ahead of the favourites in the Vangazi delegation.

NAME OF GRAND PRIX: Grand Prix of the Imperial Commonwealth

TRACK RATING: 5/5
CHANCE OF RAIN: 3%
OVERTAKING DIFFICULTY: 2
MARGIN FOR ERROR: 4

QUALIFYING TYPE: Two-Tier
LAP RECORD: 1:21.954 - Louis Krindle (Qualifying, WGPC14, MSA-SinVal Racing)

BIO: Located a few minutes from one of the biggest cities in Eastfield Lodge in both sporting and population terms, Mount Salt Raceway is a relatively new (less than 15 years old) purpose-built circuit, and became the show-piece event for every domestic motorsport calendar. The track is a blend of quite a few high speed corners and long straights - the kilometre long pit straight is one of the longest in Eastfield Lodge - but there also plenty of slow corners to test the cars and the drivers.

Starting just after the halfway point of the start-finish straight, the tight first corner is far enough away for the field to spread slightly, but needs precision to carry speed up the hill to the second corner, where the drivers will find a mirror image of the first corner. A short straight before we reach the Turn 3 hairpin, where the prevailing wind can scatter a fine layer of salt, originating from a salt plain near the mountains, over the corner.

Passing through the chicane (Turns 4 and 5), we come to the hardest section of the circuit; a long climb up the hill on a long left hander, before taking a sharp left at Turn 7. The combination of the hill and the wall close to the inside of the track results in drivers being more or less blind until the last moment before turning, making for some good action for crowd to watch. The wall on the exit of 7 is a recent addition, and yet another crowd favourite.

The track then levels out as the drivers take two right handers at Turns 8 and 9, before taking the long right hander at Turn 10 back down the hill and braking hard for turn 11. Little braking needed for Turn 12, and then it's down another hill, before reaching the Turn 13/14 chicane before the pit entry and the last corner, after which it's a 0.5 km sprint to the finish line.

Usually, the weather in the region is pretty dry and sunny, often with a stiff breeze as noted above - that WGPC13's race weekend took place nearly entirely in the wet was a bit of an anomaly.

Note: Where there isn't a gravel pit or a wall indicated, you can assume it's a tarmac run-off for the corners and grass/turf for the straights.

I don't know if this is the right thread to ask but where do you have this car design from?

Procrastination... is the art of knowing you have a job to do but know there's like a year till it's due. It's elemental for the Asopin soul to survive in such a slow-paced world.
Bored of having to see Juventus winning the Schudetto too many times? Can wait to see that match where Ronaldo didn’t shoot at all? Tired of seeing Napoli fight for first place when there’s no point? Oh boy, you’ve found a new friend.

I got Theo Theodoridis as my flag model. Showing my love for Greece!

NAME: Jacoppo Montaguti
NAME TRIGRAM: MTG
NATIONALITY: San Roccan
NATIONALITY TRIGRAM: SRA
PREFERRED CAR NUMBER: 82
SECOND CHOICE CAR NUMBER: 28

ABILITY:
Reliability (MAX 5): 3.4

Experience: Solely domestic, double national champion in the SRF2000

There are two views on the racer and personality of Jacoppo Montaguti. Let’s start with his own, shall we? In that case, we are talking about one of the biggest talents behind the wheel in the San Roccan racing history, who already managed to secure his spot in the highest tier at the age of nineteen after promising results in the karting circuit. After a difficult debut season, he showcased why he was given this chance by winning the Catanzaro race – known to be one of the most difficult ones out there for being a small street circuit. Ever since, Montaguti has been at the pinnacle of the sport, competing for the highest crown and even grabbing it three years ago and last year. And if it hadn’t been for that one big crash, it could have been a threepeat and with sixteen race victories (in a calendar which holds about nine a year), he's on track to break the domestic GP victory record.

The reason why he has grown to be the key figure in San Roccan racing and as such a logical candidate to take the step up to the biggest podium of international oneseater racing must be his combination of dedication and determination. Known as the Maniac, he works incredibly hard to earn his stripes and no one makes more hours out on the track to reach his target. This hunger shows in the seat itself as well, as Jacoppo will never shy away from the duels, even if this leads to the occasional crash. At the other hand, this makes him strong in the qualifications – crucial in the typical small street races in San Rocca.

Another vision of Montaguti is that he bankrolled his way into the top tier, supported by a father who runs an empire in the food industry and who saw in sports a great way to invest money. Some whisper that this actually might be the actual reason why Jacoppo steps up at the age of 28… Although few will contest that Montaguti has quite some talent, some claim that his long-term contract with Fanelli, by far the most notorious and reputed manufacturer allowed him to steer the best car to his results. In his time, he didn’t make himself the most beloved man in racing, partially because San Roccans preferred his eternal rival Giulio Panucci, a very regular bloke from the streets who crafted his own success, but also because Montaguti never hesitates to underline his own accomplishments.
