Hmm in such case, I hope the OP does not mind someone who outwardly is part of the Battalion, but is in fact a mole working for a secret anti-metahuman faction within the US government?

Character Description
    Name: Wikus Van der Berg
    Aliases: Ebrahel (Name of the alien symbiotic being that lives with him; and also name of this true form).
    Gender: Male
    Age: 41
    Appearance: WIKUS'S LOOK EBRAHEL'S FURY


Motivations
    Goals: Ending what he sees as metahuman threat. Painful experiences of his past brought him to a conclusion that all metahumans are ticking time bombs that will sooner or later turn against humanity - and need to be put down permanently before they cause more damage than they already had.
    Ebrahel, on the other hand, wishes to serve the will of Elyon to the greatest of his capabilities, fullfilling his obligations as a Malakian warrior.
    Fears: Metahumans. This character is literally motivated by his belief that the "metahuman plague" will bring the end to the human race as we know it. He will never trust a metahuman character even if he outwardly appears to do so.
    Ebrahel's greatest fear would be, on the other hand, breaking the Malakian code and displeasing Elyon.


Strengths and Weaknesses
    Source of Power: Symbiotic alien being.
    Powers : -
    Abilities: Wikus had served in 6th South African Infantry Battalion, and subsequently as a mercenary all across the black continent. He possesses a strong knowledge of all the skills one would expect from a mercenary with a long time of service - including knowledge of hand to hand combat, firing a gun, basic grasp of tactics and driving vehicles. Being a Tar'Yahs (translates roughly as a pilot) of a Malakian warrior gave him also a solid understanding of Malakian culture, language, religion and customs.
    Equipment: Ebrahel

    Ebrahel is a malakian warrior that had been linked with Wikus Van der Berg. No one really knows where the Malakians came from, or who created them; what is certain is that they are not native to this dimension. Malakians themselves speak of an "Elyon" who is their creator and whom they worship as a god, that created them and gave them purpose.

    This terrifying war machine is of bio-mechanical nature, mixing organic and mechanical components. In it's released form, Ebrahel stands over eight meters tall, making him equal in height to a small flat. It has it's own power supply, nature of which humans were never able to discern, but it's confirmed to involve quantum phisics. Ebrahel's head contains a single plasma cannon, which albeit powerful, takes a lot of time to recharge.

    Each Malakian requires a human Tar'Yahs (Pilot) with whom it's bound until the pilot's death. Once inside the cockpit (which is located in Ebrahel's chest) the pilot experiences a dream-like state, in which he feels the Malakian's iron and wires as if they were his own body.

    Finally, each Malakian has a complete set of nanobots that rebuild it over the time - though the process is too slow to impact combat directly.

    Weaknesses: Though the massive form of a Malakian warrior may easily sound intimidating, in practice it also comes with several disadvantages. Ebrahel moves with a general clumsiness, making a swift opponent easily able to evade him (we have seen this in Captain America; Civil War with Ant Man's giant form). When coupled with it's size, it makes him almost unable to evade an attack, forcing him to absorb all punishment that will fall on him - and while Malakian warrior has a thick armor, there is always a limit to what one can take. The armor is not displaced equally, and some areas (chest, front of the head) are far more protected than others (back, joints, jaws). Knees are a point that's especially vulnerable. Malakian warrior's advantages center on his massive brute strength and staying powers of the large form, having severe drawbacks in other areas. The primary range-based attack, jaw mounted plasma cannon, is slow to recharge and can fire only one shot per minute. Finally, due to state the pilot experiences while piloting the Malakian warrior, all damage inflicted on Ebrahel will show on Wikus's body - including the possibility of death should Ebrahel take too much damage.

    A dedicated team of characters, using clever methods and hitting weak spots, could easily take Ebrahel down.

    Job: Formerly soldier and a mercenary.
    Legal Status: Officially hero - in practice a mole of "The Storm" inside the First Earth Battalion.
    Backstory: Wikus Van der Berg was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. His early days saw fall of the apartheid and the political turmoil that followed. Coming from family of long time military traditions, Wikus dreamt of becoming a solider; thinking that as part of the military, he could be a real hero despite his lack of powers, and protect the land of his birth.

    His military career was interrupted by fall of the apartheid. Feeling concerned about his future, Wikus left the military at first possible charge and started a career of a mercenary, hoping that that way he could help those who are too weak to defend themselves. Grim reality of warfare, however, quickly changed his views; but even among all the darkness of conflicts, Wikus always kept his integrity, refusing to accept contracts from tyrannical warlords.

    At one point, Wikus concluded that putting an end to his career as a mercenary and settling down may be the best choice. He finally settled down, married and had a son. This entire dream was disrupted when a local superhero became mad with power and torched the city Wikus was living in. Van der Berg tried to defend his home, but 9x19mm bluets from his pistol simply bounded off the mad metahuman's skin. Finally, the crazed hero left him over charred corpses of his wife and children, hoping to offer him a life of suffering instead of death.

    For a while, Wikus spent his time drinking himself to death, when one day, a massive machine came near his home. The being identified itself as Ebrahel - a Malakian warrior, who came to Earth on orders of Eylon. According to Ebrahel, Eylon viewed the rise of metahumans with suspicion, concluding that at one point they will all go mad with their own power, and -after subjugating humanity - will threaten other worlds, including possibly Eylon's domain. Intrigued by the being's orders, Wikus accepted his offer of becoming a Tar'Yahs; and from that time the two became inseparable, fighting metahuman crime while preparing themselves for a time when all metahumans will "inevitably" go mad.

    At some point, Wikus was recruited by "The Storm" - a secret cell of high ranked personnel within the US military, which shared his negative views about metahumans. While "The Storm" prepared itself for it's eventual emergence and anti-metahuman campaigns, using his record as crime fighter, Wikus was ordered to join the First Earth Battalion and act as The Storm's mole inside the organization.

    At last, I fully intend to note that I intend to have Wikus betray the team at one point; and possibly set him up as one of "bosses" the First Earth Battalion's members would have to face.

Can I get some data Wikus had requested? It would be nice if the OP could, if possible, give us some depiction of the area where the fight is taking part; including also rough number of criminals we are dealing with.

    Appearance:
    William York is a somewhat average at 5'10 and 180 pounds. Black hair sits atop a somewhat weathered, angular, and mustachioed face. Deep blue eyes betray an almost purple shade in certain light, and a somewhat clean canvas of skin is marred with some scars and a 1st SFOD-D insignia tattooed on his left pectoral.



Motivations
    Goals: Liberty and Justice for all. To willingly lay down his life in the defense of all individuals in the name of freedom and equality, against all enemies both foreign and domestic, so help him God.
    Fears: Dying without purpose, snakes, Campaign Hats.


Strengths and Weaknesses
    Source of Power: Mythological Creature
    Powers Mild Regeneration: While not to the degree of regrowing limbs in seconds, Dhampir can heal faster than the average human. Gunshot wounds and knife wounds will typically heal in 1-3 weeks depending on severity, bouts of illness will last at worst a couple of weeks, and limbs will regrow in 5 years at worst.
    Higher Capacity for Strength: Dhampir are stronger and quicker. As expected from a group that heals quicker, muscles do as well. While inherently, Dhampir are not superhumanly strong, they do have a much higher capacity for force and strength than normal humans. William personally has been honed by years of combat and training, as such he is on poar if not marginally better than record breaking athletes.

    • Despite being on an Olympic level of athleticism he is still very much human. Bones break, muscle fail, and the body gives in, He is a dhampir, and can heal in a faster time than others, but even then it is not fast enough to save him if a fight goes south too quickly. he still has to take care not to be permanently crippled as the result of a bad move.


Background:
    Job: Military Fiction Writer, Licensed Gunsmith
    Legal Status: Law Abiding US Citizen
    Backstory: Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, June 7th 1965. For a good majority of his life, the true nature of his mother was kept from him, not knowing he was a Dhampir or that his mother was a vampire, a creature of the night and what people saw as an abomination. William was always someone who strived for the Army, a youth was spent in the wilderness with his father, he earned decent grades in school, passed his GED and enrolled in the US Army straight out of highschool at 18. He saw basic training as a character building event, and in time would pass on and be one with the unforseen monotony of military life. For 6 years he would spend his time sitting about waiting for something to happen, it was then he decided on the next leg of his life journey. He would enroll on the 75th Ranger Regiment, go through it's grueling training, and end up being actually deployed somewhere with combat for once. William was seemingly ready for his trial by fire... Mogadishu.

    Operation Gothic Serpent was a wake up call for the now 27 year old, spending a day trapped in veritable hell as gunfire and blood surrounded him. It was also the first time he had seen the somewhat legendary Delta Force in action, and still adventurous in his young mind, sought that as the next step in his career, despite what he had just been seen and been a part of. In 1995, he got his wish, he would be accepted into Delta Force, and by 2001, would be involved in combat operations the world over. It was here he would remain in his career, until he was medically discharged in 2016 due to a several fractured sternum and nerve damage to his right arm.

    In 2017, his father would pass away in his sleep. At his father's funeral, his mother finally came clean to her now 51 year old son, who looked scant a day over 30. They were a part of a class of people who had been hunted and hatred for so long, but with the advent of things like the FEB, things has changed. In 2018, inspired by their actions, and after spending so long defending lives abroad, William now defends live domestically with the FEB.


Lore: Vampires/Dhampirs/Ghouls
Since the dawn of civilization, notations of vampires have existed. Mesopotamians, Hebrews, Ancient Greeks, and Romans had tales of demons and spirits which are considered precursors to modern vampires. What we know and call vampires today though originates almost solely from 18th century Europe, when theological situations were changing heavily. The typical 'blood sucking, garlic hating, silver fearful parasites' were found to be seen as fact by few during this time. This is only partially true, but to understand a vampire one must go further back.

Originating in southern Asia thousands of years ago, vampires are not mythological beats, but rather humans who cracked open a stone vault that they really shouldn't have. Though long since gone, near what is now Lahore, Pakistan is a cave that, at that point at least, had been a cave that had been sealed off for nearly half a million years. Within a colony of creatures so small, the tribesmen who broke into the cave knew not what was within. Bacterial infection set in, and within days those who entered the cave found themselves either dead, or changed. And thus the first vampires were born.

While initially just a small plague, those who were infected became frail, if powerful individuals. Evolution took place, as word was passed down from parent to child, hazards, ways of living, and options to take in regards to their apparent god granted powers. With time, the bacteria, mutagenic in nature, changed the human bodies over time, as the carriers themselves took to finding thew more successful of their peoples. Unable to live outside human bodies, the bacteria became as mutually beneficial as the bacteria living in the human digestive tract.

Always small in number, vampires have the following traits:
    1. Anemia, which has been the basis of pale skin, and the reliance on blood, as their bodies have been accustomed to digesting it for a large stock of iron.
    2. Severe Allicin allergies, the chemical commonly found as a natural pesticide in Garlic has been proven to result in a fatal allergic reaction from vampires. Even if smelled it will result in hives at best and a closed throat at worst.
    3. Chemically induced biological immortality. This chemical secreted by the bacteria has proven to greatly prolong the human lifespan, ranging from 600-700 years more. No problem! A lot of this is in the first IC post btw. I'll have a character give you this info in the IC as well.

Approximately 20-24 assailants + two metahuman leaders. The non-metahumans have body armour and automatic weapons. The metahumans are not that well understood though Hellgate in particular is not one who any single team member will be able to deal with (he is being set up as 'the dragon' for this story arc).

The area the fight is in is a square with high-rise buildings on all sides and a vehicle road down one side. The bank is set within the square approximately 20x40 yards with cover provided by concrete planters for ornamental trees and shrubbery. There are shop-fronts facing onto the square. The assailants have thrown up a defensive perimeter in the square with the bank being used as a fallback point.

And on a very OOC note, you might notice a few things that don't add up for a robbery!

Comes with semi-immortality, enhanced strength to the pount of lifting a car, speed to the point of running at 50 mph, and senses to smell blood from 5 miles and see in the dark, and the ability to transform into a bat. The more he feeds, the stronger he would get and the more control he would have over himself. If he bites a human of the same sex, that person becomes his slavish ghoul. However, if Raphaël bites someone of the opposite sex, that person becomes a vampire like him.

    -A bullet to the head will knock him down for a few hours as his vampiric nature slowly rebuilds the synapses in her brain. A wood bullet -if successfully fired- will kill him indefinitely. A silver bullet to the head will lead to a very hefty case of amnesia, and a very long stay in bed.
    -Normal wounds will heal in a days time, but silver and wood inflicted wounds will heal slower than that of a normal person.
Gear: Various weapons used to hunt and kill vampires including two ARMS .454 Casull Auto pistols that carry wooden bullets and bullet capsules of garlic, holy water and other holy toxins. Raphael also carries a blessed sword called 'Blood Drainer' and he often wears a special armor into combat while wearing dark clothing, preferably black and red.
Personality: Despite being over a hundred years old, Raphaël is much like the teenager he appears to be. He is anxty, lazy, rebellious and loves comic books, video games and anime. However, Raphaël is also a cunning and ruthless warrior with a vast knowledge of the Supernatural. He is sarcastic, sassy and have grown somewhat sadistic, relishing in the targeting of the very worse of humanity to quench his animalistic thirst for blood. Unfortunately, Raph also suffers from PSTD, having great trauma from the attack that made him a vampire and guilt for killing his sisters, ever fueling his hatred for other vampires.
Legal Status: Independent Anti-Hero and Mercenary, head of the Earth Battalion's Supernatural Division; Private Vampire Hunter and Investigator of the Supernatural.
Biography: Raphaël Raymond was born on January 21, 1899 in the Town of Blois, France. He had loving parents and three young sisters and lived a very happy and relatively normal life. Unfortunately, everything changed on the 31st of October when several Vampires invaded the town of Blois. While Raphaël hid in the basement with his mothers and sisters, his father went off to join the fight against the Vampires, but was killed in the fight. One of the vampires, a female, eventually broke into his house and raided the place. Upon finding Raphaël and his family in the basement, the vampire laid waste to his mother. However, the boy survived, killing the vampire through impalement in a struggle, but at the cost of his humanity.

The next morning, Raphaël was found, traumatized and rocking in a corner in fetal position in a corner with the corpses of his mother and sisters close by. Seen by his now deathly pale white skin, crimson red eyes and shrap fangs, it was clear that he was bitten in the struggle and survived the transformation into vamprism due to being bitten by the opposite sex. It was also, quite unfortunately clear that, due to a newfound ravenous hunger for blood, Raphaël unintentionally turned on his sisters, who survived the first vampire attack, and killed them. In fear for the safety of the town, Raphaël was taken away and locked in an Asylum for the most of his fledgling stage of Vampirism. As months passed, Raphaël was given packs of blood to feed upon from the Asylum's ward. It didn't take long for the new Vampire to feel deep regret for killing his sisters and gained a vengeful, all-consuming hatred for Vampires. One day, a Meta Vampire Hunter named Heamet came to the Asylum to kill off the young fledgling. However, upon seeing the boy's great hatred for his kind, Heamet took him under his wing, and trained him in the art of Vampire Hunting.

As the decades passed, Raphaël traveled the world with his mentor, and became a skilled hunter of all Supernatural creatures. He fought in both World Wars, helped liberate France from the Nazis, and walked in Heamet's footsteps even after his death, becoming a fully fledged Vampire Hunter who stalked in the night in hunt of evil. The typical 'blood sucking, garlic hating, silver fearful parasites' were found to be seen as fact by few during this time. -Vampire Physiology Raphaël is a vampire, being undead and having the ability and need to feed off the blood of humans and metas. Comes with semi-immortality, enhanced strength to the pount of lifting a car, speed to the point of running at 50 mph, and senses to smell blood from 5 miles and see in the dark, and the ability to transform into a bat. The more he feeds, the stronger he would get and the more control he would have over himself. If he bites a human of the same sex, that person becomes his slavish ghoul. However, if Raphaël bites someone of the opposite sex, that person becomes a vampire like him.

Raphaël Raymond has the all the weaknesses of a typical vampire including:
    -The need to feed at least 4 liters of blood a week or else he goes crazy and becomes beast like...
    -A great aversion to sunlight which could burn and turn him into ash in fire if in sunlight directly.
    -Glowing red eyes that make him stand out in darkness
    -The need to sleep.
    -Allergic to garllic that could potentially kill him in large enough quantities
    -All holy objects and places which can burn, petrify and leave him greatly vulnerable
    -Reflection can cause vertigo, nausea, slight amnesia and things like that involving nausea
    -Whatever kills vampires, like stakes to the heart, kills him too.
    -A bullet to the head will knock him down for a few hours as his vampiric nature slowly rebuilds the synapses in her brain. A wood bullet -if successfully fired- will kill him indefinitely. A silver bullet to the head will lead to a very hefty case of amnesia, and a very long stay in bed.
    -Normal wounds will heal in a days time, but silver and wood inflicted wounds will heal slower than that of a normal person.
Gear: Various weapons used to hunt and kill vampires including two ARMS .454 Casull Auto pistols that carry wooden bullets and bullet capsules of garlic, holy water and other holy toxins. Raphael also carries a blessed sword called 'Blood Drainer' and he often wears a special armor into combat while wearing dark clothing, preferably black and red.
Personality: Despite being over a hundred years old, Raphaël is much like the teenager he appears to be. He is anxty, lazy, rebellious and loves comic books, video games and anime. However, Raphaël is also a cunning and ruthless warrior with a vast knowledge of the Supernatural. He is sarcastic, sassy and have grown somewhat sadistic, relishing in the targeting of the very worse of humanity to quench his animalistic thirst for blood. Unfortunately, Raph also suffers from PSTD, having great trauma from the attack that made him a vampire and guilt for killing his sisters, ever fueling his hatred for other vampires.
Legal Status: Independent Anti-Hero and Mercenary, head of the Earth Battalion's Supernatural Division; Private Vampire Hunter and Investigator of the Supernatural.
Biography: Raphaël Raymond was born on January 21, 1899 in the Town of Blois, France. He had loving parents and three young sisters and lived a very happy and relatively normal life. Unfortunately, everything changed on the 31st of October when several Vampires invaded the town of Blois. While Raphaël hid in the basement with his mothers and sisters, his father went off to join the fight against the Vampires, but was killed in the fight. One of the vampires, a female, eventually broke into his house and raided the place. Upon finding Raphaël and his family in the basement, the vampire laid waste to his mother. However, the boy survived, killing the vampire through impalement in a struggle, but at the cost of his humanity.

The next morning, Raphaël was found, traumatized and rocking in a corner in fetal position in a corner with the corpses of his mother and sisters close by. Seen by his now deathly pale white skin, crimson red eyes and shrap fangs, it was clear that he was bitten in the struggle and survived the transformation into vamprism due to being bitten by the opposite sex. It was also, quite unfortunately clear that, due to a newfound ravenous hunger for blood, Raphaël unintentionally turned on his sisters, who survived the first vampire attack, and killed them. In fear for the safety of the town, Raphaël was taken away and locked in an Asylum for the most of his fledgling stage of Vampirism. As months passed, Raphaël was given packs of blood to feed upon from the Asylum's ward. It didn't take long for the new Vampire to feel deep regret for killing his sisters and gained a vengeful, all-consuming hatred for Vampires. One day, a Meta Vampire Hunter named Heamet came to the Asylum to kill off the young fledgling. However, upon seeing the boy's great hatred for his kind, Heamet took him under his wing, and trained him in the art of Vampire Hunting.

As the decades passed, Raphaël traveled the world with his mentor, and became a skilled hunter of all Supernatural creatures. He fought in both World Wars, helped liberate France from the Nazis, and walked in Heamet's footsteps even after his death, becoming a fully fledged Vampire Hunter who stalked in the night in hunt of evil. Taking on the title, "Le Nocturne Chasseur" (The Night Hunter), Raph worked hard in helping people plagued by malevolent creatures of the Supernatural, werewolves, vampires and ghosts alike. Raphaël began working with Hero groups, including the First Earth Battalion as head of the Supernatural Divison, despite his questionable behavior of feeding upon the very worse of criminals for blood. Quite wealthy from his work, Raphaël currently takes residence in Paris, among other places, with caretakers making accommodations for his vampiric needs.
