Waterstad Borough view from the Ocean

The RP plays off in The Republic of Port Ember, Port Ember Megalopolis, Waterstad Borough.

Port Ember Megalopolis is a gigantic city, consisting out of 7 Boroughs. Each Borough is basically an independant large city. All 7 combined makes up the unified Port Ember Megalopolis. This RP plays off solely in the Waterstad Borough (the Megalopolis is just too large to play everywhere - but you can still day visit the other boroughs. Its not off limits.)

Brief background on the other Boroughs:

1. Waterstad Borough: Southern tip of the city. Full details below.

2. Lilly Black Borough: Borders the Waterstad Borough in the north. Its geographically the center of the Megalopolis. The entire Republic's government is officed here. This is where politicians and government officials lives and works generally.

3. Gold Coast Borough: West of the Waterstad Borough. The financial center of the Megalopolis, and home of the Stock Exchange (Skatkus Lane). Known for its modern high tech skyscrapers and filthy rich people, with their mansions and yacht clubs.

4. Musk Borough: Northwest of the Waterstad Borough. Center of technology and academics. Home to world class universities and research labs.

5. Greenfields Borough: North of Lilly Black Borough (does not border Waterstad Borough Directly). Home to many zoo's, nature conservation ranches, musuems, concert halls, art galleries, theaters, nature parks and film studios. Known as the cultural capital of the city.

6. Fiesta Borough: Situated north east of Lilly Black Borough (does not border Waterstad Borough Directly). Home to many nightclubs, pubs, bars, beer gardens, massive casinos, world class hotels; radio statios, tv stations, print media industries, news industries and film studios. Known as the entertainment capital of the city.

7. Basket Borough: Situated east of Waterstad Borough. Home to many fisheries, shipyards and many factory farms. Known as the food capital of the city.

WATERSTAD BOROUGH - MAIN INDUSTRIES

Port Ember Docks: The Port Ember Docks is one of the largest and busiest ports in the world. It contains a Passenger Terminal, Cruise Liner Teminal, Marina Terminal, Dry Freight Terminal and Liquid Freight Terminal. There is always work for persons lookong for some honest but hard work here. The city is proud of the Docks, as its the heartbeat of the nation and the main source of the countries wealth.

Gudfrey's Trading Company Head Office

Inport/Export Companies: Many Inport/Export Companies maintains offices and warehouses around the Borough, the biggest and most successfull being Gudfrey's Trading Company. With free market trade being the staple industry, there is always work available.

Factories: East of the Docks is a large Industrial Centre, with over 500 privately owned factories producing all kinds of products. Again work is plenty.

Shipyards: Several shipyards is located around the coast, largest being Umberlee Shipyards. Again work is plenty - and is seen as an honourable way to make a living, owing to the rich maritime history of the nation.

Grand Bazaar: The Grand Bazaar is a massive open air market where any person may sell any product or service imaginable. A stall is hired by the Bazaar owner on a month to month basis. One of the favourite places to go to for most citizens.

WATERSTAD BOROUGH - PLACES TO LIVE

There is wide variety of places to live, and renting or buying property is available.

- High Rise Apartments. To the west of the docks is the Morté Neighbourhood, known for its many high rise apartments. A bit crowded and busy but veey affordable.

- Suburbia. To the north of the docks is many suburban neighbourhoods, collectively known as the Suburbia. Houses range from low to high class, with a small amount of manors situated here.

- Upperdeck is a 4 star hotel with a maritime theme. Very popular with traveling businessmen.

- The Wheelhouse Hotel is a 3 star hotel with a standard motel theme. Affordable and popular.

WATERSTAD BOROUGH - TRANSPORT

- The city has an effective highway system with no speed laws.

- The city has a Bullet Train Subway system servicing most major parts of the borough and can be used to travel to another borough.

- The borough has an effective free to use public bus system.

- Taxi services are plenty and is all licensed and painted in a bright green colour.

- The Fubar system is higly active and affordable (Think Uber)

- Waterstad International is an international airport situated in the Borough.

- Walking, skateboarding and cycling is also a popular means of transport.

WATERSTAD BOROUGH - GOVERNMENT SERVICES

- The Port Ember Police Sevice (PEPS) has three large stations in the Borough.

- The Port Ember Fire Department (PEFD) has three large Fire Station in the Borough.

- The Barnard Memorial Hospital is a large state funded public hospital in the borough.

- The Waterstad Borough Muncipality is the local government offices. They can assist persons looking for work and sets up people looking for residence.

WATERSTAD BOROUGH - ENTERTAINMENT

- O'Malley's Tavern is a popular local tavern which is open 24 hours a day. Live music is played at night. Fist fights is commonplace.

- The Malibu is a popular large nightclub which is open during nightime from 8pm to 6am daily. Alcohol and drugs are sold freely. Popular amongst the young crowd.

- Lollipop Gentlemans Club is a popular stripclub. The owner, Johnny Azula is rumoured to be part of the underworld as a crime boss.

- Ramzerz Restuarant is the hottest reatuarant in the borough and requires booked reservations. Famous amongst the wealthy citizens.

- Empire Mall is a large 800 store upmarket mall, with all imaginable stores, cinimas and an ice ring.

- The Cutlass is a beachfront restaurant placed on the beach near the harbor. Popular breakfast venue, and afternoon coctail venue.

- Paradizo Beach is the most popular of the many Waterstad beaches. The whole stretch of this 20 kilometer long beach is public property, making it easy to stroll from hotel to hotel regardless of where you book an overnight. All in one afternoon, you can grab lunch at an ocean-side restaurant, stumble into a volleyball game with locals, take Jet Skis out further down the beach, and top it off with some snorkeling in Cemetery Reef, known for its rocky formations prime for sea life habitat.

- Grand Bazaar has been mentioned. Very famous marketplace with live bands and other street performers.

- The Boneyard is located just outside the Industrial Quarter and contains the largest collection of used mechanics on the entire island, with a collection varying between aircraft, cars, tanks, motorcycles and more.

WATERSTAD BOROUGH - LAW ENFORCEMENT

The PEPS is an effective well funded police force. Laws are liberal in the country, with all drugs legal and any item imaginable are allowed to be bought or sold. Violent crime is however taken seriously by the police. A person may however cary firearms in public. The police may force any citizen to remove a firearm from the public if they deem it so.

Culture
- Most citizens maked a good living here. Even "poor" people can afford a simple house and even possibly a car.

- The citizens (NPC's) is the standard westernised labourer with a hint of irish stereotype characters. The work hard, party even harder, and loves a good fist brawl.

- The city is always busy and its truly "a city that never sleeps".

- I as OP maintain the right to play any NPC, whether they are planned or random to interact with your character. You may also interact with a random NPC which you can invent on the spot. Its a large city after all.

Jolene Gudfrey is the current Chairman & CEO of Gudfrey Trading Company, who inherited the family company from her father, José Gudfrey in 2015.

Jolene is a local legend in the Republic of Port Ember, and is followed extensively in local media circles. Her massive success as a businesswomen, close friendship with many key figures in the nation, and active sociol life places her in the media spotlight regularly.

Jolene has been annointed as Bussiness Women of the year 2018 by Ember Times Magazine.

Jolene Gudfrey was born on 14 February 1993 in Port Ember; Gold Coast Borough. She was born into the esteemed Gudfrey Family, her father being José Gudfrey, the former Chairman and CEO of Gudfrey Trading Company and current Minister of Industry in the Port Emberian government. Her mother, Carla Gudfrey is a famous socialite and philantropist.

She graduated high school at Gold Coast High in 2011, and after which she went abroad to various nations for a "Rite of Passage" for a year.

Jolene inherited Gudfrey's Trading Company from her father José Gudfrey in 2015, when he was appointed Minister of Industry.

When se assumed the helm of the company, she was aged 22, the youngest in the company's history - and many believed that she was too young and inexperienced, and that the company was destined for closure.

When she assumed the helm, the company was already in dire straights, having grown stagnant and not achieving growth, with debt piling on. In a move seen by some as a miricale, she reversed the trend, and the company has opened many new trading posts globally, and is no longer in debt. January 2019, Gudfrey's was ranked the third highest revunue turning company in Port Ember.

Jolene leads a very active social life, and can regularly be seen attending high class nightclubs and other high society events around the city.

Jolene is personal friends with many influential persons in Port Ember, including even the current President Edward Flint and Minister of Defence Jan Breytenbach, amongst others.

Jolene is also involved in charity, especially involving animal causes. She is known as an avid canine lover.

Sources close to her has revealed that she is a very interesting person, radient with confidence and very bubly (happy and energetic). She is very friendly and is always the main attraction at any social gathering.

She is also rumoured to be very sexually open and liberal with a number of previous male and female lovers. She is known to have a very seductive personality, although she is not in any current long term relationship.

At age 25, she has already traveled to a great number of foreign nations and is truly 'world wise'. She has gained quite the reputation as a world class fence in stolen arts and artificats, being able to move stolen goods from stealer to buyer no matter how many oceans seperates the two parties. As her reputation builds, so does the danger to her life, and she has decided to slowly but surely quit the 'game' and is looking strongly at the oppertunity of establishing the first legitimate large gunshop chain within Port Ember.

He is known to be 'unbribable'and is a thorn in many-a-criminals side. He is currently head of the Organised Crime Department of the Secret Service of the entire Port Ember Megalopolis.

Kiana was born in 1995 in Tipa, Free Lands of the Selkie, as the third child of a soldier and her husband, which meant, that she moved a lot as a child, in 2000 to Launceston and in 2003 to Wembury, in 2006 to Silverport and, in 2010, to Wembury again. Aside from that, her parents tried to make her childhood as happy as they could, and as Selkie as they could, which meant, that Kiana served with the Younger Militias of the respective towns and cities, learned how to ride a horse and, when she was sixteen, contemplated joining the Cult of Rhiannon as a Servant, read a laywoman.
In 2012, her mother died in Marley Bay.
For seventeen year old Kiana, this changed everything, she grew distant from her father and her brothers, who tried to keep the family together, threw herself in a few meaningless flings, and, after a run-in with the wrong sort of people, found herself in a police station on the other side of the Mainland. She had a nice, long talk with a friendly police officer.
After that, she tried to get her life in order, graduated High School, studied Merchantry at the Merchant Academy in Leuda, and wrote a whole lot of applications as a seller, one of them to Gabha Blacksmiths Limited. Due to that, she met Fiona Bansagart of the Tribe of Cavan, their main seller - who had no use for her and pawned her off to the Eoin Mangaire of the Tribe of Wexford and his dealership company in 2018.
She joined, mainly because he wanted her to, seeing potential inside of her. After being worked in, mostly in what merchandise they have and how to use it, she was sent abroad for the first time.

Caja was born in Fortham in 1993 into a family of merchants, who work for the Merchant Guild, being a part of the administration. She had a happy and nice childhood, joined the Younger Militia and became an instructor as a Young Adult/High Schooler.
She graduated in 2012.
From there, her path seemed pre-destined: Join the Guild, get a nice job, be happy, find a husband, be happier, get many little children, be even happier and be happiest ever after - she had other plans. Instead of joining the administration like her parents, she became an active merchant, joining Gabha as a seller, but discovered in 2016, that she suffered from something, which was called the Orlov Syndrome, describing a condition of people believing, that regular arms dealing was much more thrilling then it actually was.
At first quite confused as to what to do, she asked her acquaintance and superior Fiona for help in 2017, who sent her off to the Mangaire Dealership Company Limited, which she joined the following year - and from there, she went.
Worked into the merchandise, she went abroad for Mangaire for the first time within a few months, Port Ember being her first big occasion for her new company. She knows Kiana and likes her, but to which extend remains to be seen.

Bio:

Silvio Esecutore was born in Miniera, Lutetii, in 1974. His childhood was influenced by the coup fo the Republican Junta in 1976, its rise and, in 1983, its attempt to reconquer Mount Vellenge - the Second Vellenge War, in which the Free Lands and Lutetii almost destroyed each other.
Shortly afterwards, the Lutetian Civil War happened, lasting from 1985 to 1987. In 1986, he and his family had to fight for their survival in the besieged city of Miniera.
The 12 year old boy saw and did things, which were not nice and will not be detailed here, lost his family to marauding soldiers and, one night, tried to steal from the wrong people: A man of the LCN, who pitied him instead of just killing him.
He took him in and saw to it, that Silvio got into a good boarding school and made sure, that the lad would contact him after graduation. Judging by his grades, he was an average student, but he did clash with fellow students on a weekly basis. Further looking into that by his foster father revealed, that he got into fights because his fellow students were rude to girls, the young man rising to their defense.
Graduating in 1992, with 18, he became a conscript for the Navy, where he got to know a young man by the name of Luigi Alce, who, after the disbandment of the military in the same year, joined the Coast Guard.
The two stayed in touch, even after, in 2000, Luigi's daughter Aurora was born.
In 1994, Silvio joined one of the LCN's front companies as an apprentice businessman, soon making a little name for himself. He became an Enforcer in 1999 and got into the circle of Antonio Siggaro in 2009. Siggaro is one of the highest men within the LCN, usually responsible for expansion projects.
In 2010, Luigi died and Silvio got acquainted with his daughter, Aurora, a girl of ten, and arranged for her to be sent to one of the best boarding schools of the country. He also financed her trip and year abroad to Kuronami in 2018, without her knowledge.
In 2019, he was surprised by her approaching her to become his apprentice - he still had her join him, with recommendation of Siggaro, making her an Apprentice-Mafiosa. Officially, she is his apprentice as a businesswoman.
Going to Port Ember is basically their first larger job together.

Aurora was born in 2000 to Capitano Luigi Alce of the Confederated Coast Guard, and his wife, in Alto Mare. Her mother works in the library of the Imbarco del Grande Guardiano, the Boarding School of the Great Guardian, and thus managed to get her a place there after her father stayed at sea in 2010 (his vessel, the Zampa del Lupo, was damaged in a storm, he being washed off the vessel and probably drowning).
Her educational career was unassuming (which was one of the reasons for her to go to Kuronami), with her excelling in mathematics and sciences, while managing in languages and sports, while she was not good in social sciences like History.
She once wanted to, after graduation, study astronomy and astrophysics, but that was before she, by coincidence, found out, that she was better suited for being a businesswoman, which was more fun to her. She became the apprentice of her father's old acquaintance Silvio Esecutore, who she knew from the start to be a member and Enforcer of the LCN.
In 2019, she attended the 2019 Cuan Spring Festival.

Bio:

Aonas was born in 1990 to a huntsman and his wife in the City of Conall Curach, the Swamp-City, Aonas always dreamed of getting out and away - and after an unassuming educational career, he made that into reality, joining the SDF-Army in 2008 and being trained into an enlisted marksman, joining the 22nd Maor-Regiment. He showed quite a bit of talent in that regard.
He was even recommended for the Great Woods Rangers, but declined the offer for trying his hand at their courses. He was honourably discharged in 2016, after eight years of service, due to medical reasons.
From then on out, he joined the Mercenary Guild of Redruth, working as a mercenary and marksman, using the Gabha G-101 Rifle and the Pistol, Semi-Automatic, Model 1910, C-Variation. As a safety precaution, he also has daggers and throwing knifes and a multi-purpose knife.

Regina Vásquez is a police officer with the rank of Captain in the highways division of the Policía Nacional (National Police).

She was born in 1983 in Punta del Este, Uruguay province, to restaurant owner Julio Vásquez and teacher María Montes. She was just an average student and had no interest in going to university. However, Regina had a happy and carefree childhood. She lived with her parents, and sometimes even helped them with their restaurant.

But Regina's life was completely turned upside-down when her best friend, Amanda Chávez, was hit and killed by a drunk driver in 2002. Not wanting this to happen to anybody else, she signed up with the National Police. A year later, Regina Vásquez graduated from the police academy and started working as a traffic police officer.

Also known by her badge number #15320, Regina quickly gained fame for her friendly approachable nature, dedication to her job, and strong sense of justice. So it was no surprise when she rose up through the National Police ranks, becoming promoted to Sergeant, then Lieutenant, and now Captain. She also volunteers in the P. U. S. air ambulance service as a pilot, and has flown several rescue missions in the Andes mountains.

Regina is good-looking and she knows it. She has become an online sensation for her social media pictures. She also has a sassy and flirtatious personality, and loves to have a good time.

And despite her mother's best efforts to keep her daughter out of danger, Cerìz became involved with one of the area's many gangs at the age of 12, becoming more deeply committed to criminal life as the years passed.

Recently, her mother had arranged for her to board a boat set to smuggle Cappuccinans to Port Ember, Cerìz, of course, did not go willingly her mother had set it up so that her connections on the boat forced the rebellious teenager onboard.

Cerìz now found herself on a voyage to a mysterious far away land she'd only heard vague stories of through the underground.

Bio: Gerhard Braunach was born to ambassador Joseph Braunach in the Hannoverian city of Braunschweig. Gerhard was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour in his right leg at the age of 13. After a long and difficult battle againt cancer, Gerhard got most of his right leg amputated. He from that point on started using prosthetics, but never really got used to his disability. His father, a member of the diplomatic corps, kind of forced him to take up the profession. Gerhard didn't have any real experiences with international diplomacy, and had other ambitions, but he never realy got to embrace those. He naturally wasn't as driven and enthusiatic as his peers at school, but he eventually got his degree. He applied to become an ambassador or senior diplomat, but even his father's connections couldn't help him. There were more talented, ambitious and experienced diplomats already, so Gerhard had to start out as an aide. After 30 odd years of having to do loads of administrative work, he was put in charge of a small consulate in Bavaria in the Netherlands. This worked quite well, and he's now been transferred to work at a legation in Port Ember Megalopolis, an exciting and difficult job, he thinks, as he kind of went from the rural landscape of eastern Holland to a massive city.

Bio: Joseph Georg Meyer was born to Marie Meyer-Gröhe and Friedrich Georg Meyer in an upper-class household near Oldenburg. He had one older sibling, his sister Louise, which he often argued with. Meyer was a bit of a misfit in the family, and his father feared that Joseph might not be able to actually straighten up and get a good job later in life. So, he did what most troubled fathers would do in a militarised society. He sent his son off to join the army, which Joseph didn't really enjoy at first, but his upper class background gave him a lot of privileges and advantages that made his life in the barracks a bit easier. After 8 months of training, Joseph was selected to become a platoon leader. Possibly because Joseph has a slight bit of charisma, but most likely because his parents influenced the decision. With his superiors knowing that Joseph was a bit of a fuckup, they decided to let him lead an overseas platoon, so that he wouldn't be responsible for the direct defence of the fatherland. The platoon mostly consists of raw and bloodthirsty recruits that have gone through too little training, and hardened NCOs from the Hannoverian-Flemish conflicts. It's a bit of a "Dad's army" type of unit that will most likely do no fighting. So, after commanding his platoon for about a month, the young captain / Hauptmann received the order to march out to the city of Port Ember Megalopolis, a big sunny city on the other side of the world. The Hauptmann, seing this as a great holiday oppertunity, jumped at the job, and off went his platoon, quietly entering the massive C-130 Hercules aircraft that would get them to their destination.

Bio:
Lex was born in Kievistanbul in 1979 to a very prestigious political family. His father, Petro Skoropadsky, had been a Speaker in the Verkhovna Rada, while his mother was the Chief Diplomat to Port Ember. He was a very quick study in grade school, and in turn, earning high grades and making it to the top of his class in business and finance at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kievistanbul and one of the many universities in the Musk Borough.

Lex would frequently visit Port Ember with his mother, quickly growing a liking to the diverse and economic giant. However, unlike his parents, he had no interest in international politics. He instead used his knowledge of finance and business to start his own company called Chumak, a food processing and delivery company, in 1999.

Due to the rather lax business and commerce laws of Ukraniumstan at the time, and with the help of his political contacts in the Rada thanks to his father, his company quickly grew and soon dominated the food production industry. This made him very rich, and with a good portion of his wealth set up his business in Port Ember, which put him in contact with many businessmen there.

However, in 2006, stricter anti-trust laws were instituted by the new Rada, of which his father was not a part of anymore due to retiring. So, in a ditch attempt to save his company profits, he merged his company with one of his college friends and business partners, a Port Ember businessman by the name of Mark Armitage. With this merger, the Armitage-Skoropadsky Trading Enterprise was born, which handled all trade between Ukraniumstan and Port Ember, which revolved mostly around food and uranium to Port Ember, and minerals and oil to Ukraniumstan.

Now, Lex lives in Suburbia, owning a small mansion to his name. His company headquarters are located at the Port Ember docks, next to the Gudfrey Trading Company. While living a rather lavish life in his house, he does not express it when he is at work or visiting the different areas in Port Ember, due to his rather controversial past in Ukraniumstan. Because his home country allows for dual citizenship, he has both a Commonwealth and a Port Ember one. His personality is jovial, attentive, and rather inquisitive tp those who he meets. To those who know him, however, know that he is very ruthless in business deals. He speaks English, Ukranian, and knows a bit of Esperanto and is very familiar with the country as he visited here many times and lived here since 2007.

Mark Armitage was born in Waterstead Borough in 1981. He did not grow up rich, with his father being a dockworker and his mother a waitress in the famous O'Malley's Tavern. At age 14, he acquired a job at the Gudfrey company, where he quickly earned a stable income. This allowed him to get an education in the Musk Borough, where he met Lex Skoropadsky, a fellow student studying business and finance.

Despite their very different upbringings, the two became very good friends. They both had aspirations to make their own company, and provided each other with many ideas on how business should be handled in both Ukraniumstan and PE. After graduation, Lex invited Mark to visit Ukraniumstan. Mark, never setting foot outside PE before, was stunned by the many different cities and landscapes, with each being more impressive and impactful than the last.

Eventually, Mark was in charge of a small sector of the Gudfrey Trading Company in 2005. However, financial troubles at the company had put him in a dangerous situation, and although he had made a large amount of money from his work there, it was clear that the company was falling into decadence. So, when Lex approached him to merger his company with Lex's, he agreed.

Mark now lives in Odessa, moving to Ukraniumstan in 2009, and taking the Ukraniumstan Branch of ASTE. Mark, after negotiating with the Rada to expand the ASTE to other countries( which they have already been doing, but now have officially legalized it), is now going to PE to stay for a few weeks, celebrating both this and a recent trade deal with PE.

Born to the infamous Tyler Mackenzie Sr., leader of a large organised crime gang known as the Clampers, once numbering hundreds upon hundreds of people, he was raised with an education both in criminality and in business. His early life consisted of ordering his subordinates around and generally being as brutal as his father was. Although, Tyler Jr., being the amoral profiteer he was trained to be, tipped the police off on his father, after pretending to be captured.

The British police, seeing him as an asset, passed him to MI5, to be used as an underworld asset, in order to infiltrate and destroy criminal gangs. He took them up on the offer, pretending to escape from prison, and then rounding up the rest of the gang, calling for the "Clampers II", forming a corporation known as the Southwark Arms and Drugs Corporation under a fake identity (oddly enough, one handed to him by the intelligence agencies in the first place), and so having fooled the former Clampers into thinking that they had fooled the government, although it was really the British government using them.

With this, Tyler busted several gangs and cartels, to become the main force of the British underground and a major player in the international one. His career was a very large success, with the British government now giving him an effective "Permit of Illegal Business" which allows them to subvert all law in doing business, with the exception that they cannot undermine foreign governments unless given express permission by the British government. He has now retired to run his cartel and corporation in every market from the white to the red, using human trafficking as a means to fill factories with slaves. Although not in Port Ember. Port Ember's mostly just the place where he lives and gambles, along with doing nice business deals of supplying his less-than-moral goods, from arms to drugs, to both the government and the people.

Bio: Born on the 15th of April, 2000 Alice was born to a wealthy political family within the capital of Illustrantia. From a very young age she was given very high expectations to fulfill, and was immediately sent off to Queen Victoria’s Academy for Young Ladies. For most of her childhood she had grown up within the company of her dorm mates, with the occasional visit from her parents.

Despite the expectations though, Simmons was known to have been quite the firebrand, constantly being disciplined for even the most minor of infractions such as the failure to organize her oral hygienics properly as instructed, or for speaking out of turn with her teachers.

What made up for her various infractions though were her prowess in sports. She was quite skilled in polo, and had even been a reasonable crewman in the tankery team. And with time she was able to smooth out some of her more rougher edges.

Being that she was from a prominent and wealthy family though, she was expected to have been married off to some nobleman in the Mediaman court to move her family up in the world and to gain status. But even if she had relatively grown into a young lady of her class, she still had one yearning, and it wasn’t to be married off to an older or hapless and inexperienced young gentleman of the court.

The yearning she felt was to travel and explore, and to go on perilous adventures which would’ve sure put her mother into a coma from shock and anxiety.

And so during the closing years of her enrollment at Queen Vic’s, she had gone into a quarrel with her parents when they tried to set her up with a marriage. The idea that her parents, who were hardly there for her when she was young, would suddenly come to her now to advance their own position in the confusing politics of Mediaman nobility had confounded and enraged the young woman.

And so when she was given an ultimatum to either marry her nightmarish fiancé, or to enlist in the Mediaman Royal Marines, she promptly chose the latter. At age 18, Simmons was leaving a life of comfort and of the mundane for a life of action, adventure, and travel. And so she went through all of the steps, went through the hellish months of basic training, ironically chose to become military police, and had spent some time manning the master at arms stations on Royal Navy ships.

Her clean and stellar record helped in both her promotion to Lance Corporal, and in successfully becoming an Embassy Guard, but not without withstanding two more months of gruesome training. And so after a year, she had her first assignment as a Mediaman Marine Embassy guard, at the Mediaman Embassy in the Lilly Black Borough.

Due to her want to become self sufficient and independent from her family, she took no offer to advance in the rank quicker than the average marine, nor did she accept any form of nepotism, and had thus decided to use her housing benefits to live off post in the high rise apartments of the Waterstad Borough for their thriftiness.

And so, Simmons begins her deployment to the Mediman Embassy in Port Ember, unsure on what would happen during her time there.

Bio: Born on August 17th, 1998, Nelly had a modest upbringing in a small Irish farming town of New Haven in the province of St. George. Her early life had comprised of helping out around the farm and playing for days on end with both her brothers and sisters, and the few friends she had given the remote nature of her home town.

As she grew up however, she found that she started to have to make important decisions in her life, mainly what to do with it until her dying days. Being a daughter in a family of six she was expected to do great things, but mainly support the family and the farm. With their eldest son deciding to run the farm, and her older sister already leaving for college to become a nurse, she was expected to at least run the farm with her brother in her older sister’s stead, or at most be married off to another family to combine land and in turn wealth.

O’Malley had her own plans, however. Going to the local high school, she developed a keen interest the pro forming arts, dabbling in acting and dance, but manly interested in singing and guitar. Along the way, she even picked up a few things from her older sister in terms of medical know-how.

While her family initially tolerated her interests as mere hobbies, something that would keep her from being depressed when she grew older, her music teacher had felt otherwise. He had seen a great talent within her, and encouraged her to further develop her craft as her years in high school went on, much to some chagrin from her parents.

Finally, graduation nearly was around the corner. An opportunity of a lifetime sprang up for her, as she was offered to go to a prominent community college music program in New London on her music teacher’s recommendation. And so, after a fierce fight, O’Malley left with her belongings, and her savings from part time work, and decided left for community on a scholarship, for the time being living with one of her more well off friends in a shared apartment.

On recommendation from her older sister, she received her EMT certificate as a form of back up of anything went wrong. Fast forward to around three years, and she had received her associates in music, she was ready to transfer out.

With little idea on where to go and a want to see the world, she decided to travel with the very same friend she had lived with during community college to Port Ember. There she managed to enroll in a music conservatory in the Musk Borough for her masters on a scholarship.

And so to keep with her budget, and to prevent herself from getting into too much debt after spending so much on a plane ticket, she decided to take up a life guard job at the beaches in the Waterstad Borough in her spare time during the day when she wasn’t going to classes until she could get her EMT certification back, and by night, preform at the various pubs at said Borough to build up her talent, as she tries to navigate a new and big city rivaling to New London.

Bio:

Kiana was born in 1995 in Tipa, Free Lands of the Selkie, as the third child of a soldier and her husband, which meant, that she moved a lot as a child, in 2000 to Launceston and in 2003 to Wembury, in 2006 to Silverport and, in 2010, to Wembury again. Aside from that, her parents tried to make her childhood as happy as they could, and as Selkie as they could, which meant, that Kiana served with the Younger Militias of the respective towns and cities, learned how to ride a horse and, when she was sixteen, contemplated joining the Cult of Rhiannon as a Servant, read a laywoman.
In 2012, her mother died in Marley Bay.
For seventeen year old Kiana, this changed everything, she grew distant from her father and her brothers, who tried to keep the family together, threw herself in a few meaningless flings, and, after a run-in with the wrong sort of people, found herself in a police station on the other side of the Mainland. She had a nice, long talk with a friendly police officer.
After that, she tried to get her life in order, graduated High School, studied Merchantry at the Merchant Academy in Leuda, and wrote a whole lot of applications as a seller, one of them to Gabha Blacksmiths Limited. Due to that, she met Fiona Bansagart of the Tribe of Cavan, their main seller - who had no use for her and pawned her off to the Eoin Mangaire of the Tribe of Wexford and his dealership company in 2018.
She joined, mainly because he wanted her to, seeing potential inside of her. After being worked in, mostly in what merchandise they have and how to use it, she was sent abroad for the first time.

Caja was born in Fortham in 1993 into a family of merchants, who work for the Merchant Guild, being a part of the administration. She had a happy and nice childhood, joined the Younger Militia and became an instructor as a Young Adult/High Schooler.
She graduated in 2012.
From there, her path seemed pre-destined: Join the Guild, get a nice job, be happy, find a husband, be happier, get many little children, be even happier and be happiest ever after - she had other plans. Instead of joining the administration like her parents, she became an active merchant, joining Gabha as a seller, but discovered in 2016, that she suffered from something, which was called the Orlov Syndrome, describing a condition of people believing, that regular arms dealing was much more thrilling then it actually was.
At first quite confused as to what to do, she asked her acquaintance and superior Fiona for help in 2017, who sent her off to the Mangaire Dealership Company Limited, which she joined the following year - and from there, she went.

Aside from that, her parents tried to make her childhood as happy as they could, and as Selkie as they could, which meant, that Kiana served with the Younger Militias of the respective towns and cities, learned how to ride a horse and, when she was sixteen, contemplated joining the Cult of Rhiannon as a Servant, read a laywoman.
In 2012, her mother died in Marley Bay.
For seventeen year old Kiana, this changed everything, she grew distant from her father and her brothers, who tried to keep the family together, threw herself in a few meaningless flings, and, after a run-in with the wrong sort of people, found herself in a police station on the other side of the Mainland. Due to that, she met Fiona Bansagart of the Tribe of Cavan, their main seller - who had no use for her and pawned her off to the Eoin Mangaire of the Tribe of Wexford and his dealership company in 2018.
She joined, mainly because he wanted her to, seeing potential inside of her. After being worked in, mostly in what merchandise they have and how to use it, she was sent abroad for the first time.

Indeed! The Vehicle Import dock is a subdock at the passenger terminal. Please note the we drive on the left in PE.Road worthiness tests can be done at the Vehicle Import Office at the dock. Note no emission standars are applicable - just a standard road worthy test.

Lol well yeah PE was a British colony until 1950 so yep. Dont say it to loudly though - Locals dont like being compared to the Brits.
