I don't think Granny will live out the rest of her time here in Mervay, she'll always call the islands home. But I think with some doing she could come around. If there was something that didn't lacked on the streets, those were the Christmas decorations through the city, that mostly were present in the new city, everywhere you looked there were the festivities decorations through the streets and stores.
That gave Tess an idea of where to go. As she said, they were in Victory Park, an entertainment district and so there might be something that they could enjoy and that place was in the park of the area.

If Dileva knew something is that the tree will be there with their beautiful lights and who knows. The mistetloe might be hanging there waiting for the next couple to be under it.
On their way there, Tess thought about something curious, about this festivity (which passed already in IRL) does the foreigners of the UIS celebrated it?? Since it might be more possible that they would celebrate such thing there since most of them were familiarazed on it.

Setting out into the city and walking along, Satou admired the decorations and how everything was so festive and cheerful and lively. It was cold sure but she just leaned in close to Tess and warmed up just as quickly. That not many Christians celebrated Christmas was shocking for Tess, at least an little since it was surprising to hear that, but still there were many people that didn't celebrated it through all the world.
She got her focus back in Satou knowing about Christmas, then she might heard about the more religious part of the celebration out of the one we all love; either way that didn't mattered now and she focused more on led her to the tree.

They were close to it, she could see the lights of the park and people crowed around it to see the tree. They really were just in time for watch it.
The girls entered to the park, the area was not only by the Christmas tree, but many others which were decorated in completely blue lights around all over the area; then here they were.

The area was full of lights thanks to the decoration on the trees that were with the lights, there was another behind to the main tree it seemed they decided to decorate with two trees this year; many people, mostly teens were there with their couples and friends meeting for then go to other parts of the city, that was one of the many parks decorated for the holidays.
Tess leaned her head close to Satou and gently asked.

The city with such lights and the streets full of joy, it was truly an good combination; two days remained for christmas eve where for the first time, her Tess will celebrating it with her beloved.

Maybe not here, but in an place where do you love and where it can be magic for us" Tess muttered for herself as she leaned to her beloved shoulders with an slight smile as she thought of the day of their marriage and when she will declare it to her girlfriend.

Guess they could try tomorrow during the night if they still have some time or if the storm fell.

"We should be going, we can go to other parts of the city and enjoy tomorrow" she told her grabbing her hand. "I don't want you catching an cold"

I just was nervous about being in a new place is all." She blushed a little still smiling her sweet innocent smile.

They returned back to the cinema where her car was, before they entered, she opened the door for Satou and then for herself, once inside Tess told her girlfriend about something common around here.

"Make sure that you have put your security belt, I forgot to tell you that yesterday when you came and we entered to Hannah's vehicle" she said putting her security belt.

The night was beautiful, the streets full of christmas decorations, people walking through the streets to enjoy the night and the lights gave that touch to the background and atmosphere, it was. Relaxing for someone who lived on the city.

"Hey, I'm curious about something and I hope you don't mind if I ask you. Since you work at the Kitan and the Duchess Villa always goes there to her favorite seat, I was asking if you ever go the chance to attend her??" Tess asked curious about it.

Tess kept driving through the city until she was entering back to the old city, she kept driving until she was stopped by an traffic light, vehicles begun to move where it was green and it continued for an minute before stop to them just see the trams pass through in route to the Downtown of the city or the Central Station.
Then finally it was their turn for move and she kept moving until they were back at home.

"Well, here we are. We take all our bags and then we leave them in our room so we can go to take an bat" she said opening the door and opening Satou's one meanwhile she grabbed all the bags of what they bought today.

Unpacking all the things they bought Satou setting them neatly aside and hanging others up ones she'd want to wear within the next day or two including the sailor outfit. It looked so cute she just was excited to wear it tomorrow. She knew Tess would think it was cute too.

She looked at Satou which was busy with her clothes too, tomorrow was the day she would try her new clothes and knowing her, they would look so cute. She leaned close to her once she ended preparing everything.

"Want me to go and prepare everything for our bath??"

She quietly squealed in delight at how cute once she and Tess were dressed side by side in their nightwear and cuddling up next to her was going to be wonderful. Once everything was done and put away she joined Tess in the bathroom. "All set?"
