Namibia and Southern Africa

It had taken a few months, but the Boers had finally been defeated. Their leaders had been improsoned and the remaining rebels rounded up and taken home. However, there was still more to be done. The 150,000 strong force that has stamped out the Boers now turned and began to quickly overrun the Namibian colony. The Germans didn’t appear to or out much defense, so the British quickly struck into the territory.

Togo and Cameroon

In Ghana, a security force of 75,000 Colonial and British forces moved in and quickly started to secure Togo. The British were starting to overrun what litttle forces were left there. In Cameroon, supported by a couple of light airships and the West African fleet, 75,000 British trips from the home land landed on the coast of Cameroon and began to occupy most of the colony. These campaigns hopefully would end quickly along with the Namibian one.

Tanzania

Tanzania. The prize German colony. This one would be as easy as a nice fine cup of tea! 150,000 colonial troops from the South and 100,000 from the North began to overrun Tanzania. In a few short weeks with the small German garrison, surrender would be almost assured.

Kenya

250,000 Indian soldiers deployed near Nairobi. They would all go to face he Italians in Somalia and Soth Sudan/Eritrea while more Indians were transported over. There was also a small garrison along the Nile. If the Italians tried their North African strategy again, they’d at least have some troops to hold them off till reserves came.

Parliament, London

“These people are under British rule and fight for us, they deserve representation! Good night gentlemen.”

H.H. Asquith sighed and slumped into his chair. The Dominion Rights bill had just successfully passed and the Parliament loudly applauded. This bill in effect gave the opportunity of 20 seats to Canada, 15 seats to India, 7 to Australia, 5 to South Africa and 3 to New Zealand isn’t eh British Parliament for fighting in this war. Elections would quickly be held and representatives appointed to office while after he war, more fair representation would be implemented. Of course, a dominion could always refuse if it wanted. This bill would keep unity in the colonies and begin to mend Indian relations with Britain. Finally, a way forward!

Mi5 headquarters, Classified

For almost 50 years, Mi5 has been an unrivaled network of spies, informants and collaborators that extended British intelligence World Wide. No one could stop them, their subversion knew no bounds. However, the Italian and German networks had grown strong. There was real conflict on the horizon.

This was why today, a new organization was founded. Spies of World Renown would be used to specifically break up enemy spy rings and assert the British Inteligence as unchallenged once more!

The name of this organization? You already know it.

Mi6

Aden

The Ottomans has swept through Aden. Destroying much of the city in reckless fur or.

However, one interesting man had managed to slip out in the chaos...

He mounted a horse with Sherif Ali, King if Mecca and rode to plan the Arabian rebellion, a plan that could turn the tide against the Ottomans.

And so began Lawrence’s great legend.

France

With the French military finally getting itself back together, the British force of 400,000 soldier split into two equal groups. The first half would join the Norhern French forces against Germany while the other half would directly be put under the command of French generals to fight off the Italians. A reinforcement of 200,000 brits were already on the way from England, ready to join the fight as well.

The North Sea

While the Home Fleet was in Denmark, the North Dea fleet composed of 5 dreadnaughts, 3 battleships, 7 cruisers and 10 destroyers began the Great blockade. No trade to Germany kr Sweden would pass them. Those goods would be confiscated but he Royal Navy and the ships would be directed back from wence they came.

Denmark

The airships continued to defend the skies of Copenhagen. They would stay there for most of the war. Meanwhile, the 200,000 troops holding the line at the Kiel canal dig further in. They would create trenches stretching for miles in the future. In a few months, they hoped it would be done.

Egypt

It wouldn’t be long now. Almost a million soldiers were pinned between the Italian armies. The Suez has miles upon miles of fortifications in place. The Ottomans wouldn’t get there anytime soon. They just needed to hold out until they could evacuate into the Med. the amediterranean fleet was already escort the largest ever assembled fleet of merchant vessels and transport ships to get everyone out under air cover. There, they would evacuate to the Atlantic and make the long jkurney to Kenya to puch back North, retaking British land.

Meanwhile, the HMAS Imperator singles out an Ottoman airship making its way back to the lines. Firing slack after salvo, it made short work of the airship as it crashed to the ground. The lines would hold. The fleet was almost to them now, having passed Malta.

All of Africa is not yet lost.

Message to Paolo Thaon di Revel

Greetings old chap!

We respect your decision to not accept the fight, this is war after all. In this case with this note, there is a hefty sum of Irish Whiskey for you lads in the naval command. Do not worry, it is not poinsoned. If it was, we’d have to contact the IRA. Well, may we someday meet on the High Seas, know that I respect your talents. It is clear from Egypt that we underestimated you!

Cheerio, and if we meet in the Med with our escort, know that the Navy won’t let our boys perish without a damn good fight!

< STATUS UPDATE ON THE WAR >

The Italian High Command met once again in Rome, to discuss issues regarding the war. The meeting was lead by King Victor Emmanuel III, who served as the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. Various high ranking Italian generals and admirals served in the High Command, and each served a role in the overall war effort. They convened for 7 hours, in which they discussed military secrets and national emergencies that required attention. A small contingent of Italian officers also met with the Spanish King in Madrid. There, they discussed a potential Spanish entry into the war. The meeting was largely kept a secret from the Entente, covered up by the NIS. A consensus was agreed upon, and each side left the meeting fairly satisfied, but no one besides the Command, the King, and the NIS knows what occurred behind those closed doors. One this was evident, Spanish troops had lined all across the Franco-Spanish border and near Gibraltar.

[Franco-Italian Front]

As the front seemed to stagnate, both sides prepare their forces for the other to attack. Defenses were constructed, as anti-mechanized weapons were developed due to the rising mechanization of European militaries. The Hannibal-class Heavy Artillery is an example, having the firepower to takedown various mechanical forces. One Italian soldier remarked that: “The war against the Entente is an attempt to challenge the status quo of the European theater, which is dominated by the Anglo-French Powers. Soldiers here fight not for a greater cause, but to protect their friends and family from foreign powers. However, the government fights for the prospect of a greater Italian Empire, one that will protect the people of Italy, and allow for our nation to become one of the great powers of Europe. With regards to that, it is a cause worth fighting for.” - Benito Mussolini, 1915

Meanwhile, agents of the French Resistance have recently been more active. They’ve given intel on Italian military positions, sabotaged infrastructure, and carry out planned assassinations of Italian military officers. The Italian NIS was sent in to cleanse these rebellious Frenchmen. The NIS already managed to purge the resistance out of Savoy, Nice, and Corsica, and are currently trying to located remaining groups in Italian occupied France. NIS operatives have instigated a counter-espionage against the Resistance’s espionage, creating a secret spy war behind the frontlines.

Image

[Air and Naval War]

The captured naval bases at Toulon, Malta, and in North Africa had effectively secured Italian dominance over the Central and Western Mediterranean. Soon, the Suez Canal would be conquered by the Italians, which will secure the Eastern Mediterranean as well. With the conquest of the Socotra Islands and taking of various ports in Sudan, the Regia Marina has managed to effectively contest the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. Italian submarines, referred to as Black Hounds, have harassed and destroyed Entente convoys going through the Mediterranean. Only those with a significant escort fleet have managed to survive the Black Hound’s wrath. The Regia Aeronautica has been continuously bombing French industry and military instillations. Meanwhile, a small detachment has been sent out to support Operation Oasis. The main issue was how to take down the HMAS Imperator, which was solved with the powerful Meucci guns, which have the power to at the very least damage the Imperator.

Image

[Africa Front]

Operation Oasis was a success. British forces in Egypt have fallen back to plan a defense to hold off the Italians until they evacuate. A push by the Italians forced the British to fall further northwards, cutting off the city of Kossier from the rest of the British forces. In Sudan, the advance reached the eastern bank of the Blue Nile. The cities of Omdurman and Khartoum were besieged by the elite Italian Marauders, however fierce fighting from the British defenders prevent the cities from being overtaken completely. Italian forces in British Kenya prepare the defense for a potential counter-attack by British reinforcements.

In Ethiopia, reports indicated a small contingent of Ethiopia troops assaulted the border around Eritrea. Similar reports showed the Ethiopians being continuously aggressive against Italian border guards. This, toppled with the apparent letter from the Ethiopian King requesting for assistance for a planned war against Italy, forced the Italian government to issue a formal declaration of war against Ethiopia. Italian forces did a lighting attack against the Ethiopians, determined not to lose a second time to these “savages” as they’ve called them. Overrunning the Ethiopian defenses, the Italian forces advanced further into Ethiopian territory. The cities of Adowa, Gondar Sokota, Barri, Harar, and Ankobe fell swiftly to the Italians, as they advanced to take the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa. Reports indicate that the Italian treatment of Ethiopian POW’s and civilians as quite alarming. Tens of thousands of civilians were killed in Chlorine and Mustard gas attacks of Ethiopian cities. Many soldiers who’ve surrendered were massacred and burned at the stake. Many were disturbed by these events, however the Italian government has denied any direct involvement. They’ve stated that these attacks were “outliers” and were not intentionally directed at killing the native Ethiopian population. With reports coming through about the mass killings of POW’s and civilians, and the extensive use of chemical weapons against the Ethiopians, many begin to wonder whether or not these really were just isolated incidents.

{Telegram to the British Admiralty}

Greetings Admiral Hood. We are glad you respect our decision not to fight. We here at the Italian Admiralty would graciously accept you gift of Irish Whiskey, we know the boys in blue will be pleased. The next time we meet, will be somewhere out in the Atlantic or Indian Oceans. British naval strength in the Mediterranean has significantly diminished, especially with Gibraltar and the Suez soon to fall to the Central Powers. We'd advise you to evacuate as many of your ships from the Med. as soon as possible. We want a naval battle, not a naval massacre. Don't think that our generosity will make us soft, for we will still decimate your navy just as we did to the French in Toulon.

With the Most Sincere Regards,
- Paolo Thaon di Revel

"The British Empire has betrayed us."

Image

The Prime Minister stood at a podium, his eyes staring out waves of an endless crowd in front of him, murmurs and shouts instantly arising from it's ranks.

"Every time our men leave our shores they don't come back. Whether it be in Somalia, Egypt, or International waters, our men die. Our so called "rulers" the British Empire do not treat us with the respect we give them. Our lords in London see us only as fuel for their futile war effort! We, as Australians, truly have no purpose in this war other than to die for the reputation of a shriveling Empire. And to pay us back, they dare to offer us seats! Seats to a parliament an unbalanced and unjust parliament in exchange for the lives of boys! To those men in Parliament I carry a message. The days of Caesar, Genghis, and Alexander are over. Your empire will not see another turn of the century, but Australia, an Australia independent of English oppression will. I state, henceforth that we, as Australians, will no longer stand idle as men are murdered by English incompetence, we will no longer watch as you bleed our proud lands of every drop of blood and silver we have left. We will stand independent from your crooked sense of what is right and wrong. In our lands the worker will be cherished, not the banker.

Do not expect more Australian men to arrive to your ports to die. From this day forwards we, the Australians, a colony with the veil of tyranny lifted from our eyes, instead present ourselves as an independent nation, separated from relations with the British Empire.

The crowd roared to life, there had been no talk of this politically. No votes, no polls, not even gossip. For all those in the audience knew, not even the Commonwealth Parliament knew of this decision. The only gossip stemming from the war was the talk of leadership in the military being shifted around significantly considering their timing in the middle of a war. Nevertheless, now Prime Minister Fisher stood at the head of the crowd, a soldier on either side of him and Striders walking along the edges of the crowd, some of them thumbing their quivers as they eyed the numbers of the crowd.

Australia from this day forwards, praises the efforts of the Central Powers. We offer our support to their efforts. Unlike the murderers of the Entente we will be decent in war. You will never see an Australian ship drop bombs onto the heads of civilians. Nor will you see Australian armies annihilating cities and their inhabitants, and you have my word you will never see Australian lives thrown away carelessly in war efforts by the careless hands of generals. Unlike the Entente we will survive this century and come out a Utopia of likes the world has never before seen. Ladies and gentlemen, workers and citizens, as we move towards the common goal of a bettering ourselves as a society and lashing out against oppressors, understand that I will not falter as your leader. I have stood where you once were, I will not corrupt like those in London have already proven themselves to be. I will guide us towards becoming a better nation, a better Australia free from the grasps of our overlords. As of tonight, every citizen of the Commonwealth of Australia is a citizen of the Socialist Dominion of Australia! A government that will not treat workers any less than they would treat themselves! A land where workers thrive and the corrupt politicians and corporations that suckle the life out of men and women will never be welcome! God bless the Independent Socialist Dominions of Australia!

It wasn't long after that the crowd was nearly ready to rush the stage either to strangle or kiss the Prime Minister. while some broke into cheers and others into screams absolute chaos broke into the crowd. A man in the middle of the crowd was dressed like anyone else, and just as everyone else in the crowd he was caught in the chaos. He was among those screaming in a bloodied choir, his arms slamming from side to side as he fought his way up through the crowd until he was only rows back from the Prime Minister, his hand finally finding it's way past his lapel and into his overcoat, returning with glimmering steel and a revolver similar to those that Australian officers frequented using. No sooner had he taken it from his coat did he pull the trigger. Blood splattered over the stage behind the Prime Minister as he fell to the floor of the stage, the soldiers at his sides suddenly beginning to fire into the crowd with just a general idea of where the shot had come from, while striders began to envelop the crowd with explosive bolts of flame, despite the ravenous and frantic horde, the striders could not be toppled by pure manpower at the legs it was hopeless to even attempt, and yet the striders had never performed better than at that moment, suppressing crowds. Almost as if they had been designed that way.

The Prime Minister's mouth sputtered with blood one of his bodyguards grabbed him, dragging him away from the scene as quickly as he could manage.

Unfortunately, Andrew Fisher had not yet been killed, and this was not yet over.

A man named Sebastián wakes up in his cot.
He and his crew are delivering supplies to a port in Italy.
The supplies include
-Food
-Clothing
-Weapons

As Sebastián gets dressed and heads out to see the horizon he is confronted by the captain.

"Hey Greeny" the captain says "You were supposed to be up here 40 minutes ago"

Sebastián actually was on time
The captain was actually just a cheap dick

Sebastián says "Yes sir sorry sir"

Sebastián looks over to the sea

As he looks he Hears an explosion

The ship shakes and everyone is jostled around

The ship starts to capsize

Sebastián looks ovwr the side of the ship and notices a hole in the boat about 8 ft wide

As Sebastián heads over gets into the life boat he hears the crew stuck under the vessel

He tries to save them but the door is locked

The life boats drop one by one and a fellow crewmate yells
"Sebastián you cant save them come on before the ship capsizes"

Sebastián is forced to flee before they all perish

As they drop down they paddle away and the ship ainks below the waves

Sebastián looks towards the sea and notices a submarine surface

He cant see it very well but he knows who is responsible

The British...

Spainish merchant boats notice the survivors and rescue them

They are brought back to spain and report what they experienced

King Alonso is forced into one action to keep Spanish sovereignty

Spain declares war on the British empire

Spain joins the central powers

100,000 men invade gibraltar with mechanized support (from mechs obviously)

50,000 men are delagated to protecting the coast

100,000 men are sent to help Italian forces in africa

100,000 men are sent to Morocco to fight off the French and british

50,000 men are held in reserve forces and will be deployed when needed

And the remaining 300,000 men are lined up on the french border and launch an offensive into france taking minimal land

Upon our entrance into the war Italy handed occupation of Morocco over to the Spanish

< STATUS UPDATE ON THE WAR >

Prime Minister Antonio Salandra read the headlines: “SPAIN ENTERS THE WAR IN FAVOR OF THE CENTRAL POWERS”. He couldn’t believe it, his prayers had been answered. With this news, France was surely to give up much sooner than expected. The Italians gracious gave their occupation of Morocco to the Spanish, and sent aid to Spain to support their war effort.

[Franco-Italian Front]

The front hasn’t even moved an inch. The Italians eagerly wait for the French counter-offensive to retake their land. A German contingent of 15,000 elite divisions arrived on the Frontlines. They were supposed to make their way to Africa, but the High Command figured they would be of more use against the French in Europe. Defensive structure and anti-vehicle emplacements were established all along the front. Various bridges across the Rhône and Isère Rivers were destroyed to hinder a potential French attack. The Italians were ready for anything the French would try and pull.

[Air and Naval War]

“The Mediterranean will soon be ours.” -a phrase that has spread all across the political landscape of Italy. The Spanish intervention will see Gibraltar fall to the Central Powers. Meanwhile, British forces in Egypt are attempting an naval evacuation to save their remaining forces. With the inevitable capture of the Suez Canal, the Entente would have no way of contesting the Mediterranean. The Central Powers would have complete dominance over the Mediterranean Sea. New Italian warships are under construction, and will soon be able to keep ahold of the Mediterranean, and sail into the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The Regia Aeronautica was sent to hunt down any remaining Entente ships, in conjunction with the Regia Marina. Meanwhile, the Meucci guns were set up along the front in a undisclosed location. The Regia Aeronautica would try and draw the HMAS Imperator into battle, so the Meucci gums can destroy the airship once and for all.

Image

[Africa Front]

Kosseir fell to the Italian invaders while the British were trying to evacuate. They put up a valiant fight, but the overwhelming force from the Italians forced them to surrender. Over 50,000 soldiers were killed or taken as POW’s after the city fell. At the same time, British forces fell back from El Alamein. This was due to the amounting pressure from the Italians and need to evacuate. Both sides took heavy casualties in the near 2-month long battle for the city. Soon, the Italians will compress the British around Cairo and the Suez as the British try and evacuate their massive amount of forces from Egypt. Meanwhile, the Italians slowly advanced to take the Khartoum, as the city of Wad Mendineh fell to the Italians. Omdurman and Khartoum were continuously bombarded by the Italians, as to wear down the city’s defenders.

Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, fell to Italian forces. It wasn’t much of a battle, tens of thousands were killed, whole city blocks leveled, and the Royal Family of Ethiopia was imprisoned and tortured. Due to the ruling party of Ethiopia being killed, the Italians opted to annex the entirety of Ethiopia with the permission from the surrendering military. Italian Eritrea and Italian Somalia was to unite with Ethiopia to form Italian East Africa, under the governorship of Governor Giacomo De Martino. With the capitulation of Ethiopia, Italian forces are free to begin their advance into Uganda and further into Kenya.

The Petain administration
Across Paris military trucks could be seen moving through the streets, wherever they stopped soldiers stepped out, burst into the house they had parked in front and dragged out some sort of screaming Politician, public demagogue and any vital part to the Dupont administration in a number of pre-emptive arrests carried out throughout the entire nation in preparation for the final coup d'état. The French people themselves who had once been so very protective of their democracy simply stood as it was stolen from right under their fingers, they'd all known that this was coming if not Petain then who? If not now then when? Eventually the trucks rounded on the presidential offices, armed soldiers went in first, searching the building to make sure that Dupont hadn't gotten wind of the coup and was going to try and bring some of them down with him, nothing was discovered.

President Francis Dupont rested his head in his hands. His office when he first entered it had been designed with a modernist outlook in mind to be representative of the great technological leap that he was attempting to put France through, little had he known that spectre of war had been far stronger than he had predicted and a war with the Italians had drained the funding for any effort of national improvement to the point where they only existed on paper. His office had grown less like a catalyst for progress and more like a prison keeping Dupont chained to a dying nation.

Dupont reached out for a bottle of wine near the end of his desk and puree and hefty amount into his glass, as if late he had grown quite enamoured with the bottle, in his situation who wouldn't be with rumours of a coup passing around the nation like a wildfire Dupont didn't believe that he would be in office for much longer. Three heavy, quick knocks landed upon Dupont's office door, he hadn't any appointments this late and he had specifically requested to his servants that no one be permitted to enter so the final option was that the day had finally arrived. Dupont slumped in his chair and allowed the knocking to continue he didn't bother to answer the end result would still be the same.

The door burst open as Philip Petain and two armed men flanking him on either side. Petain stopped directly in front of the president's desk and said in a matter of fact tone " Francis Dupont, you have been deemed unworthy to guide the French state and are under arrest for treason, corruption, conspiring against the French people and leaking vital state secrets to the Italian menace. You still have a right to a trial yet I think we both know how that'll turn out" Petain practically spat these words while the president did nothing but smile, it was the smile of a man who had seen too much, lived to long and faced one too many storms. The two soldiers Petain brought with him grabbed the president and grabbed his limp body out of the building and flung him into an armoured truck which proceeded to follow the convoy out of the city of Paris, the city that none of the truck's occupants would see again.

The next few days were followed with further arrests, yet it was less than expected the French people had grown more or less apathetic towards the political state of the nation, as long as the war was won it didn't matter who did it. The loyalty of the French people was furthered by the foundation of two new ministries: First was the ministry of public loyalty an organisation dedicated towards the complete and utter eradication of treason throughout the nation, of course this wasn't what was told to the public, to aid them in this task small spider like machines were developed capable of recording all information it saw on a small ocular device and putting it on film for the people of the ministry to play and discover any form of treachery.

The second ministry was the ministry for Military redistribution, they were intended to correct the mistake that was the business as usual policy, they were too organise the rations and ensure that every citizen no matter their wealth or caste in society would fill out their duty to achieving victory. Any citizen found to be hoarding a significant amount of wealth and not paying the necessary war taxes would have their entire estate taken by the ministry and would be sent to one of the ministry run work camps that were suddenly appearing throughout the nation. These were but the first days of the Petain administration.

The Franco-Italian front
The morning had begun relatively normally for the Italian men in the trenches, they climbed out of their subterranean barracks, warmed their hands over a fire, sourly shovelled the soupy gunk they got as food into their mouths and joked about the Australians. They'd been forcing the French into an all out retreat for the past few days now not to mention that the Spanish had joined with them morale was on an all time high. Yet then a few of the Italians with more a more acute listening skills were able to pick up a peculiar grinding sound as if some kind of gigantic behemoth were tunnelling it's way through the Earth towards them... Yet this was no matter, people were known to have heard worse on the trenches, they simply went back to consuming their breakfast. Then the noise became louder more and more people heard it, some took a quick peak over the trenches to check if the French were launching an offensive yet still nothing, the men were getting nervous now and some were even... BANG! Across the trenches hundreds of burrower torpedoes hit their targets ,caring nought for the destroyed bridges, and collapsing vast amounts of the Italian fortifications.

The remaining Italians were left to stare around in shock and awe at their new ruins, what followed next was a horde of tripods appearing on the horizon. They were some of the only vehicles able to cross the rivers that the Italians had blocked off by destroying their bridges and normally the tripods would never be considered for such a duty but with the Italians dismayed and disorganised and the tripods speed and versatility taken into consideration it was deemed that they would finish off the weak and wounded. Any Italians unable to retreat or fortify were quickly mowed down by the tripods as they stalked over the battle field.
Image

The French offensive was planned to coincide with a mass uprising in both Valance and Avignon distracting the Italian garrisons in those cities and allowing the French military to sweep in and claim the cities for themselves. Uprisings in Marseille and Grenoble were less fortunate, the NIS was no laughing stock and their efficiency was quite frankly frightening. Key figures in the French resistance were arrested and plans about the offensive were leaked, in both those cities the Italian forces after finishing their reorganisation managed to form an effective defence against the French forces keeping them out of the two cities. Over the next week or so a new frontline was formed the Italians and dug in and peered over their trenches once in a while to shake their fists at their enemies.

the Franco-Spanish front
News of Spain joining the central powers was a shock to all those living in southern France yet most still simply shrugged it off, between the great South American wars of independence and the Spanish American war, Spain had become the but of many people's jokes throughout Southern France. Yet their armies still were a menace and so from the Italian front the Ozymandis was sent to help fortify the front lines there, right behind the moving fortress were a great horde of bunker crabs ready to turn the mountainous Spanish border into a quite literal hell for the encroaching Spaniards, every road was transformed into veritable fortress and every mountain in the range became practically a living being with bunker crabs crawling over it and the infantry themselves creating new machine gun emplacements. Whatever happened now the Spanish would advance no further.

The secret war
Australia had fallen into almost complete anarchy, everyone was too busy attempting to kill one another to notice a single unmarked airship glide it's way into the nation. The airship proceeded to make it's way further into Australia for two days straight not stopping once until it arrived at an unmarked Australian prison, it had been all but abandoned except for one man and a couple of guards with enough of a grudge to hold him there. It didn't take long for the airship's marine attachment to take the prison and secure it's lone prisoner, the man inside was known as Ned Kelly and had been deemed by the French intelligence agency to be perfect for their goals in Australia. Kelly was brought into the ship after being put under a sedative and was brought to a large, clean and somewhat unsettling room within the airship filed with macabre machinery and grim faced surgeons.

The moment Kelly was placed in front of them they began their work. The first problem was the legs, Kelly was lacking them but no matter it provided the surgeons a chance to experiment. New legs were provided mechanical and improved in every manner to their organic yet they did not stop their sinister practice here, slowly they advanced up Kelly's body removing and replacing, removing and replacing providing Kelly with everything and more that he would require in the near future, he was fast becoming an icon of the transhumanism that the French intelligence agency was ever more commonly being associated with.

When the surgeons finished their work, Kelly was dropped out onto the outskirts of a small mining town with a single message left in his pocket In exchange for our services, we expect you to do one thing cause the government hell .

Kelly was not the only target visited by this mysterious airship, deep in the outback the airship happened upon a large grouping of aboriginal nomads meeting to discuss the ongoing crisis. Many of them looked up to the airship with nothing but disdain and held their weapons up to defend themselves from any attack they may attempt, but none came instead a large hatch opened at the bottom of the ship and from it came a stream of supplies guns and armaments with no explanation or reason for this gift the airship dumped it's weapons and left yet every man there knew what this fortuitous encounter meant. Revolt.

The Franco-Spanish Border
The Spanish Troops look at the french border and turn straight backwards towards the mountains

They will not be attacking what behemoth fortifications lay below them
Instead they will force the french to keep forces on their front allowing the italians to advance further into france

West Africa
The Spanish soldiers make their way down the coast pushing all the way to modern day sengal

After this offensive the Spanish are stretched and their supply lines do not do well in the scorching desert

They consolidate their positions and wait for any counter offensive they might face

Atlantic Coast
The Spanish garrison is mostly organised
Some men go on the beaches playing soccer (football) and relax themselves

Others dig into the ground preparing the trenches

An assassination attempt had nearly taken the Prime Minister's life. Instead only taking his left eye although his injury was not fatal, his head was still examined to ensure that no shrapnel had spread in skull. Andrew Fisher would be in hospital for two weeks whilst the armed forces carried out crowd control during the shifting of the government. Striders were deployed in the worst of these areas, almost instantly becoming a boogeyman to Fisher's opposition. Though in these 2 weeks, there would be no witch hunts, no immediate action following Fisher's declaration. Despite the heavy policing and iron-fisted enforcement by the new administration, with the Prime Minister away from the helm now was the best possible time to take action for those that dared to oppose him. This would not be a wasted opportunity.

Somewhere in Western Australia

He sat in a dusty room nestled snugly above a bar, a bar in a town lost somewhere in the mountains. It wasn't even noon yet and already the bar was in full swing, arguments shouted, glasses thrown, and fights breaking out could be heard all through the day and night thanks to the cracks in the rotten wooden floor. His hand swung up, crushing a mosquito against his neck while his eyes still scanned over the letter in his hand, and the one laying on his lap, both of them having been opened.

One from none other than Admiral Hood, of the Royal Navy. The one he held currently being from King George himself. These letters sung praises of a man named General Harry Chauvel. Speaking wide and far about his accomplishments for Australia's role in the war and his lengthy career. Commander of the 1st Light Horse Brigade, widely accomplished in the Boer war, and regarded almost as a hero in the eyes of his men. Recognized for his strategic accomplishments in saving the lives of soldiers, keeping losses at a minimum in nearly every engagement. Though these letters from both accomplished men got the same thing wrong.

He didn't go by that title anymore. Not since the Prime Minister's most dedicated soldiers stormed his home nearly taking him into custody like the rest of the commander of the armed forces that Fisher didn't approve of. Unlike them, he got away. Since the declaration bounties had been openly placed in towns across Australia for the General, dead or alive. The truth is, the general was a tactical threat to have lose. Intelligent, charismatic, and an established tactician. It was doubtful that soldiers would refuse Chauvel's call would he beckon them to it. And unfortunately his opportunity had come.

Both the King and his good friend, the Admiral sent letters of support to him. And it was clear from this sign, they were relying on him. Relying on him to return Australia to the way it once was. Safely under the guidance of Parliament. Although officially removed from the armed forces, Chauvel would always be a soldier of the English dominion of Australia. He stood up from the bed, lifting his coat and flat cap from a hook on the doorway, slipping the envelopes firmly into his pockets. He had some letters to write.

Somewhere in the Queensland Outback
The nomadic groups had returned to their point of gathering a day later. It was a wide clearing of land on the top of a long plateau. Tents and caravans stretched all through the clearing from different clans, and were in the process of being packed up and moved off. The meeting had come to a close with an unanimous decision. The dispensing of arms from the mysterious airship had provided them a unique opportunity, one that brought peace to rather intense tribal relations and...perhaps a solution to a national problem. Fisher. Long had the Aborigines been oppressed by the British Imperialism that colonized Australia. Centuries of oppression had plagued the people, dwindling their numbers every day. Under the new leadership, it's likely the number of graves would only rise.

The meeting had stretched much longer than expected, lasting all through the night, only ending as the sun broke the horizon, painting the barren landscape with a thousand shades of orange and red.

They were going to war. There seemed to be no option left. Genocide was as likely as ever now, and in the end it boiled down to fight or flight. Like the Mongols to the north, they were simply tired of being pushed around, and these new ways of war provided both advantages and disadvantages to their traditional style of battle. Heavy machines and thousands of men could never make it across the outback. Oceans of mud would swamp tanks and walkers after just a mile. Men in wool uniforms could never dream of marching through the heat. And unlike the thousands of men the new government possessed. The Aborigines knew the land better than anyone.

The weapons cache contained explosives, rifles, shotguns, even machine guns and a few flamethrowers. It wasn't much, but to use it effectively they would need one experienced in it. One among them stood out. One of the youngest actually. A young man, the age of 24 and the son of a hunter. His name was Warragul Duwal. He had been a Corporal in the Australian Imperial Force as a Strider. His career path had been bright, most senior officers that served with him estimated that he could have been a General at some point in his career if not for his skin color. Because of his occupation as a Strider he had served in Somalia. And was one of the few to return alive. Almost immediately after returning home Warragul had deserted, taking his Strider unit into the outback, and hadn't returned from it since.

Among them, he was one of the most dangerous. Knowledge in conventional and unconventional weaponry. A markman by all accounts, with a rifle and a bow. And for the time being, a leader of an upstart rebellion force in the Australian outback, determined and motivated to crush the oppressive rulers that had tormented them for so, so long.

A Forgotten town, somewhere in South Australia
The Constable's office burned. Along with most of the other buildings in the small settlement. Survivors ran screaming from the safety of their town into the scalding heat and unknown of the outback, because even that was safer than what was in their town. Pounds floated freely down the street, caught in the wind. One of them sticking to the face of a constable, laying bloodied and beaten on the dusty cutting through the town.

The bar was the only building left inhabited in the whole town, the laughter and cheers of men inside echoing afar. The tavern was packed nearly elbow to elbow with men of questionable character. Each of them carrying some form of firearm on their person. Despite the appearance of chaos in the bar, they all gave an amount of space to the thing in the center of the bar they had all gathered around. At the center of the room was the constable's leather armchair near a table loaded with bottles, now absent of liquor. And sitting in the chair was a sturdy figure of steel his eyes nearly hidden by the darkness in his helmet, only visible by the visor on his helmet, he was only minimized only by his tan duster that draped down to the floor. He carried a semi-automatic rifle on his shoulder, three revolvers across his body, and what could be described as what looked like a pipe with the stock of a gun attached to it. Metal screeched with his every movement, his hand slapping the table with an astounding thud as he broke into laughter. "A-And you know what the goddamn note said!? IN EXCHANGE FOR OUR SERVICES, JUST GIVE THE GOVERNMENT HELL!" The laughter in the bar sky rocketed, though most of it could just be interpreted as more of a nervous chuckle.
Image

"So that's just what I fuckin' intend to do! Speakin' of that, did anyone send that goddamned telegram yet? I want the boys out at Lake Maurice to have everything ready when we get there! God help you all if I have to set up my own damned tent!

One of the nearby men laughed louder than the rest, a few nervous eyes glancing towards him as he spoke. "Heheh! What are you gonna do about it if you do, ya cunt!? Glare at us behind your fuckin' bucket!? He laughed hard, the rest of the room falling to a deathly silence falling over the room. Including from Ned himself.

"Lighten up a little you big bastard! I'm just kidding with you after all!" But he was unheard, Ned standing up and promptly turning around to face him. It didn't take more than a second before Ned lifted his fist upwards towards the outlaw in front of him, his arm jolting backwards as buckshot fired outwards from his knuckles of black steel, the man, and the two behind him suddenly dropping onto the ground, leaving a mess where they had been standing before.

The room kept silent, until Ned buckled into laughter, knocking over a couple of bottles as he stumbled into the table. He rested a hand against his helmet, shaking his head quickly. "Bucket head! Haha! Good one that!" An outlaw near the mess bent down, grabbing two of the bodies by their collars and beginning to drag them before Ned swung a hand up, causing many to flinch. "Don't worry about it. We're out of here. Grab what's left in the bank and mount up! We've got hell to raise don't you know!?

Awaiting at the lake was a small army of nerdowells and revolutionaries unwilling to live under the rule of a tyrant. Though not the largest fighting force ever assembled, they had all been geared well. A massive camp had been built around the lake to house the society of outlaws, an entire portion of it nestled away in a nearby cave where they worked 24 hours a day with machinery stripped from factories in town that were not yet entirely under control of the new administration. It was in this cave network that metal workers melted farm equipment, car parts, scrap, whatever they could find into suits of armor, reminiscent of Kelly's. If all went to plan they'd possess a fighting force of bulletproof men under the guide of one of the most dangerous killers to ever live.

This battle for power was going to divide the nation more than ever before. The Great War would become a footnote in history in Australian history books, instead replaced with the battle of four forces vying for control over Australia.

May the best man win.

The Baltic front.

The armored cars were the first to smash onto the Russian cavalry. Even with their bravery, it was not matched against fully automatic weapons and hardened steel. They were cut down in droves as they attacked and lost even more as they fled the fields of the Liepaja with Rommel perusing them. Time after time he attacked the fleeing Russian forces giving them break at great cost to his logistical tail. Even with commands from oberkommando east telling him to stop and wait for infantry and supply support. Rommel ignored the orders and tried to advance as fast a possible to catch up with the Russian Baltic HQ. But heavy counterattacks by Russian cavalry and infantry destroyed much of Rommel's forward forces...

Image

Rommel looked at the carnage below through his binoculars. His Panzers and Cars smashed head-on against the Russian cavalry charge. Panzers used their claws to swipe horses mid charge and fill them with bullets as his cars rammed the horse and fired into the oncoming infantry horde. But without infantry support, his armor was getting surrounded. He turned to the car next to him and told the radiomen within. "Tell Reinhard to withdraw his forces to the ridge! NOW!"

Rommel was beginning to panic as he saw too many panzers and cars get overwhelmed by the oncoming Russian horde. They threw or stuck grenades onto the vehicles busting them open like a tin opener. Suddenly Rommel was blasted off his feet as a mound of dirt detonated right next to him...

His ears rang loudly and his vision turned black. His head was woozy and he could hear gunshots get closer. He drew his pistol in time to shot a Russian soldier as he climbed over the hill. The soldier collapsed clutching the wound. Gunshots from behind Rommel got closer but these were his personal guard. They raced to the side of the ridge and rained fire on the Russian special forces trying to climb it. Corpses fell onto their comrades climbing the ridge making them tumble down the hill. Rommel felt himself being picked up and stuffed him into his car. He felt his car race away as he finally fell to the darkness.

The 7th Shock army advances

After resting for a week and recovering from their losses the 7th and 8th shock army resumed their attacks to finally close the Warsaw salient. The Panzers were the first to assault with infantry support and attacked the outer Russian defenses smashing them open. The Russians broke fast and attempted to flee over the river and in the process have many soldiers trapped on the other side of the river. In the chaos, they also left several bridges intact of the 8th shock army to cross. The 7th encountered much more resistance and took many losses from Russian counter artillery. But as the walls began to close the Russians held the line with a fanatical resistance allowing many civilians to flee through the gap. For the night the Germans rained everything they had onto the Russian lines but they failed to break. But as dawn rose one last Panzer charge by the 7th army broke the lines of their defenses and...

1.5 million Russian men were trapped in Poland...

...With winter about to set in...

< STATUS UPDATE ON THE WAR >

The votes were tallied in the Free City of Trieste. An emergency referendum was called by the King of Italy to decide whether or not they wished to join Italy, or remain an independent nation. After the votes were counted, 84% of the people wished to unify with Italy. They immediately decided to unify with Italy before the Austrians were to react. As per the Conference of Trento, which gave Italy various land acquisitions from Austria-Hungary in exchange for staying in the Central Powers, the Free City of Trieste was established. Annexing Trieste would would effectively break the agreements of the Trento Conference. However, the Austrians knew that they could not threaten the Italians, as they had a war to win. It was unclear whether or not the NIS tampered with the votes during the referendum, but the Italian government denies any involvement in affecting the outcome of the referendum.

[Franco-Italian Front]

The French launched a massive counterattack across the Frontlines. The Italians were forced back, giving up the cities of Valence, Avignon, and Arles to the French forces. The Italians managed to stabilize the front, momentarily halting the French offensive. They established a rudimentary defensive line, based on the old frontlines from earlier in the war. The NIS managed to hunt down many of the rebellious members of the French Resistance, arresting and interrogating them for information. The counterattack resulted in medium damages to Italian forces while the French suffered high casualties due to Italian defensive lines and small-scaled counterattacks.

Image

The German contingent of 15,000 soldiers was given to the Spanish, as they seemed to need it more against the French. Aid to the Spanish continued to come through, mainly in the form of a lend-lease of military equipment and supplies. Some Italian officers were also sent to Spain to quickly train their army in the ways of modern warfare.

[Air and Naval War]

The Regia Marina has blockaded the northern Egyptian Coastline. Admiral Paolo Thaon di Revel was sent out with a large task force to prevent the British ships from going across the Suez. The Regia Marina has also arrived in the Alboran Sea, to support the Spanish invasion of Gibraltar. They would be returning for a second time to hopefully take Gibraltar from the British. The Regia Aeronautica has ended its bombing raids against the French, and has focused instead on defending Italian sky’s from Entente airships.

[Africa Front]

Italian forces finally managed to take the cities of Omdurman and Khartoum after fierce fighting. With the Fall of these cities, Italian forces swept across and occupied the entirety of Anglo-Egyptian Sudan. The advance continued into Northern Uganda, where they were delayed at Dufile Fort by the British garrison. In Kenya, the advance reached the Tana River. They managed to take the cities of Lamu, Witu, and Borati, and temporarily halted the advance to resupply the advance. The goal: was to reach Lake Victoria and conquer the entirety of Uganda and Kenya.

In Egypt, a concentrated assault was launched. It’s goal was to try and break the British defensive ring and prevent the evacuation of British soldiers. However, the British are putting up a good fight against the Italians. Soon though, even the British will be forced to give ground or be routed, causing the evacuation to be effectively destroyed.

Gibraltar
After days of forcing their position in Gibrlatar and almost 4,000 deaths

The Spanish forces Liberated their brothers and sisters in Gibraltar

Casualties
3900 men
2 air ships
30 planes

Western Africa
Sebastián walks down along the beach with his troop

After his experience on the boat he enlisted into the military

He turns over to the shore

The sun is setting and its beautiful

He thinks of the ship

The screams of his friends from under the hull

No he can't think about that now...

He has to be strong...

As hes thinking he hears a gunshot

"BRITISH DEVILS UP AHEAD"

Hmm must be the 4th colonial division Sebastián thinks to himself

They've been chasing the poorly equipped british colonial divisions across the coast for 2 weeks now

They stand little to no chance against the well equiped spanish divisions...

The Spanish have advanced little in way of land but have made it all the way to dakar in Senegal

Their next goal is to reach the liberian border by the end of 1915

We are hopefully for final victory

Franco Spanish Border

General Francisco Franco looks down at the french fortifications

"Yeah we're not getting through that"

He sets down the binoculars

"We need to put our effort somewhere other than these mountains

But we have no other border with them besides these cursed large hills"
(Very very large hills)

The Atlantic Coast
The Trenches have been completed and the machine MMGs (medium machine guns) are in place

The bunkers are soon to be done and next will be the coastal guns

The men Do not get to relax on the beaches anymore...

The Italian officers are hardasses

Although the men are more prepared for an invasion now...

The men drill on the beaches and rest after a hard day of training in the under ground barracks connected to the bunkers

"If the fortifications keep improving we will be able to hold off a Tsunami" -General Franco

The Austro-Hungarian Raids

The initial wave of planes descending onto the city of Zagreb in the early morning had been one of the most overall devastating actions taken against the city during the battle. Entire blocks were decimated by the strike. If the Austrians had not been wise enough to evacuate the city before the attack, the losses would certainly be intense after just the first 20 minutes.

The anti-air defense weapons that Zagreb was blessed with served well to prolong the destruction of the city. Though as the initial cloud quickly broke away into designated fighting squadrons, it became harder and harder for the gunners below to land a hit on the scattered planes. Austrian airplanes were scrambled to defend the city against the attack, managing to help nearly all throughout the bloody aerial battle.

Image

The attack took nearly two days of constant attack, the defenses of the city crumbling further everyday. Each day came with a series of dogfights and light bombing to keep the defenses from truly resting. Shell casings rained from the skies for most of the day, nearly every rooftop in the city peppered with the impact of machine guns. The crumpled frames of aircraft could be found at random throughout the city in pyres of flames. With the support of anti-aircraft weaponry throughout most of the daylight. But it was only when night fell that the true force of the Mongols was shown.

Image

The city was dominated from dusk until dawn. Only the constant, desperate fire of the defenders managing to keep the horde at bay long enough that the city wasn't wiped out too soon. Entire city districts disappeared, whatever garrison left in the city to defend was hopeless to defend against the tide throughout the night.

It wasn't until early into the second night of the battle that the chaos had finally ended. The sun rose over the horizon, shining on a dead city.

Smoke could be seen for literal miles, entire blocks enflamed, and the skeletons of defenders still clutching their weapons, even as they lay dead at their posts. Only a select few districts in the city had been left mostly untouched, any last bastions of humanity undoubtedly surviving in these lucky pockets. Survivors reported seeing airships land in the dead of night, near airfields, armories, wherever they believed they could restock on supplies for their ships before taking off for a final time. Leaving the wreckage of humanity behind them.

The Mongols had not gotten away easy. Over 250 Mongol airplanes had been destroyed in the fighting. Many of the airships in the fleet, now with nothing to ferry would leave the campaign, beginning the return trip to Mongolia. The battle had not been well for the Horde, but the cost had well been worth it.

The region would be softened with the loss of such a city. The Aerial Cavalry, although shaken by it's losses was as powerful as it had ever been in the campaign. Pushing Southwards almost immediately before the shock could lose it's value. The fleet made it's way through the skies towards the cities of Sisak and Kutina, bombing them fiercely for hours with only 32 losses for the annihilation of both cities before surprisingly the fleet kept heading South. Until passing over the Serbian border and plotting a steady course towards Albania.

The Mongol Invasion of China

Image

The Motorized Cavalry had been fortunate to receive an influx of new recruits. These recruits would be the base of the Mongolian military on the ground. A surge of new riders arrived in Dihua to establish a base of power in the Xinjiang region. For now, the Mongols only conquered the countryside, claiming towns and small cities as their own instead of going deeper into China. Trenches had begun to get dug into the hills and mountains near the city in preparation for a garrison of foot soldiers en-route to the city.

Motorized Cavalry became a common sight for those living near the Mongol-Chinese border. Patrols coming by daily to ensure the state of their borders, for now, no counter-attack had struck just yet.

THE EASTERN FRONT
Over 1.5 million men are currently trapped in poland
Luckily the other 2.5M managed to retreat
German attacks on the trapped men didnt help and they were running out of supplies quickly
Thus they start to fortify their positions until help comes
While the other 2.5M orginaize and prepare
In austria the men advance out of northern galicia the offensive was directed at the weakest spots of austrian positions and thousands of artillery shells poured in a breakthrough was made and the armies punched through their lines protected by iron walls.

In sweden the offensives were a succes now the armies dug in but artillery shells kept firing and heavy bombardment only got heavier.

In romania the armies advance after battering the romanian armies for several weeks the russian armies enter oddysa and start a brutal fight to retake the city while the northern group assaults.

THE CAUCASUS
The front was hopeless
No offensives were possible
Thus the generals decided to fortify and hope for the best

København, Danmarks Hovedstad, 1915
Copenhagen, Capital City of Denmark, 1915

"The streets are hell."

A Danish soldier scribbled into his notebook, barely covered in an alley.

"Each time one person goes out into the street they're killed on the spot. Their scalps ripped from their heads, the lucky ones.

The unlucky ones are captured alive. Shoved onto the street. Belts... I don't think I need to describe the rest.

Some of these people were our own. The others were Swedes. Damn Swedes. Killing... torturing... raping our people in the streets. Most religious people imagine hell as an inferno, impossible to escape. Blistering heat, constant torture, unescapable pain.

Those currently in Copenhagen know otherwise."

- Nikolai Jensen

Christian is currently in his bunker, away from all outside forces.

The raids over Berlin and Stockholm? Those were attacks, sure. Unfortunate deaths, rogue pilots.

But this?

This is uncensored genocide.

Then the bunker doors slowly creak open. Christian looks up, expecting to see one of his men.

He then looks down at his chest.

Whatever it is... it's red. He's tired, cold. Damn, he was so cold.

He looks up. "Mother... mother."

He finally drifts asleep.

Mutliple Newspapers, 1915 - Aarhus and Alborg

"THOUSANDS OF DANES KILLED IN COPENHAGEN STREETS!
SWEDISH FORCES MOBILIZE ACROSS COPENHAGEN, MASSACRE DANISH
DANE KILLS DANE, SWEDES HELP
KING CHRISTIAN X SHOT AND KILLED!

COPENHAGEN IN SWEDISH HANDS!
KING CHRISTIAN X LAID TO REST IN JUTLAND
QUUEN ALEXANDRINE BECOMES QUEEN REGENT FOR SON

Simon Gade stands on his podium.

"Danish friends, brothers, countrymen.

You have saw what the Swedes have done in the north.

Our leaders do nothing in response except for watch.

Well I say no more! As of now, I declare the Danish government null and void!
The Danish people shall rise up in the glory and needs of her people! Death to traitors!"

A cry of "death to traitors" rang out in Aarhus, and Simon Gade raised the banner of the Greater Danish State.

Revolutionaries took up arms and flags. Propaganda was made. This was it.

DEATH TO TRAITORS!
Image

Likewise, in Alborg, the leader of the Danish Red Army, Sebastian Caspersen, took his stand. Raising a Danish banner with a yellow star in the canton, he marched on Alborg, declaring the Danish People's Republic.

Iceland and Greenland declared their independence, and the Danish West Indies joined the United States of America.

As the powderkeg was sparked and the Kingdom went up in flames, the Danish Civil War had begun.

ottoman homefront since 1914
Pre 1914:
The reforms made in the late 19th century helped the ottoman empire many ethnicities now laid down their arms though some arab nationalisim was still there
The only group that wasnt fine was the young turks
1914:
In the outbreak of the war most of the population viewed it as jihad against the russians and british invaders but generally as the war got more bloody the young turks started gaining more and more ground and support
By late 1914 protests started demandinf a republic and an end to the war

1915:
As the war continues arab nationalisim started to go down a bit mostly due to the empire forcing arab nationalist to enlist and die in the caucasus the young turks started to spread between the army officiers

Sultan kemal sat down in a bunker in ankara
An army officier by the name of kemal placed his bag close to the sultan then left the meeting
Shortly after the room exploded and kemal and many other high ranking officials traveled to constantinople claiming that the sultan was killed by his brother ahmed and orderinf the arrest of many relatives of the sultan
Afew hours later a new order was launched from ankara to constantinople ordering the arrest of kemal and his partners
The troops were confused and soon fighting broke out in the capital between "kemalist" and "loyalist" after several hours the sultan himself arrived and the fighting stopped
An order was issued to arrest kemal and 5 other high ranking officiers 2 generals and 1 admiral
The capital suffered greatly from the fighting with 10k dead civillians 8k dead soldiers and several burned blocks of thr city

The sultan started a broadcast to all ottoman subjects
In the broadcast he made sure that the ottoman empire well still be the ruling islamic nation and all its subjects are all equal no matter of faith or race.

However the sultan had his own concerns about the arab nationalist thus he sent in 20k men to the holy city of mecca

Status Update on War
Something was worrying Ferdinand. The Italians had annexed Trieste. It was completely expected to happen, but so soon! It was a clear violation of the Conference of Trieste. Not to mention that the fleet in the Adriatic had gone to refuel in Vlorë, Albania leaving it open to an enemy attack. No, now was not the time to worry it was the time to celebrate. Serbia had fallen and the Treaty of Visegrád was written and signed. Not to mention that a garrison of 300,000 was in Serbia to keep the peace.

Treaty of Visegrád

Article 1:
- Serbia will cede some borderlands, including Belgrade, to Austria-Hungary

Article 2:
- Serbia will be divided into two puppet states, Principally of Niš and the Duchy of Vardar
- These states will be direct vassals of Austria Hungary, and will both be ruled by a Hapsburg Monarch

Romania
The Support Troops were arriving at the Russian-Romanian Front. They were numbering 700,000 in all. Their commands were to stop any Russian advances into Romania.

Russian Front
The orders were to launch a counter-offensive. All across the front, the army targeted the less defended areas in concentrated attacks. They pushed back the Russians to the Dniester River and a couple miles farther East from Lemberg.

Air Fleet
The Austro-Hungarian air fleet was sent out to intercept the Mongolian fleet that was rampaging through the country. In multiple cities Anti-Air was set up to shoot down the Mongolian Fleet should they appear near the cities.

< PAPAL UPDATE >

As they sky turned red in the late Autumn of 1915, Pope Julius IV reminisced his past. He couldn’t believe that he had become the Pope, and especially under these circumstances. As per the Latern Treaty, the Vatican City was given to the Holy See. He managed to solve one of the Papacy’s major issues in just a few months of taking office. Now, Pope Julius IV has called a Papal conference in the Vatican. This conference, known as Vatican II, will hopefully result in more reform for the Catholic Church. Spearheaded by the Progressives and Pope Julius IV, they hope the conference can fix many of the Papacy’s most contentious policies. The King of Italy has allow for Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops, and Priests from Entente nations to come to the conference. Which was a surprise to many, as he previously prevented Entente Cardinals from going and voting in the Papal Conclave of 1915. The meeting began, as Pope Julius IV gave his speech behind closed doors. No one knows what was said, but what was heard was the screams of various Conservative members of the Church.

The Spanish Home Front

Spanish people are volunteering like wildfire

90% of the forces gathered enlisted themselves

Although there are some who wish to see us destroyed...

The communists are up to it again

Its lingering in the air...

A revolt is gonna happen...

King Alonso knows it

We just dont know how much traction it will get among the populous...

Franco-Spanish Border

*writings in a spanish soldiers journal*
"Almost nothing has changed

The french sit there and wait for us to attack

But were not coming...

A few artlliery pieces have been set up...

The generals planning on shelling them from afar

Were not going down there...

And they can't get up here...

So I guess we have the high ground?"

Western African Front
The army has not made it far

They are to far from supply lines and have to wait

Dakar has been taken and The army has stopped and is wait for ottoman support

To: Russian HQ of Warsaw.

The time for your surrender has come. Your leaders have abandoned you to winter. They have paused all attempts to break through our line and have withdrawn many miles from the current front. Your troops are starving and freezing. If you tell them to lay down their arms they will be given shelter and food. Russian high command will be held in the palace of Konigsburg until all hostilities with Russia end. They will be treated well... But only if they surrender.

There needs not to be more death and pain.

Egypt

It was time. Grand Admiral Hood sighed as he surveyed the evacuating troops. It was time to admit they had lost in Egypt. 50k men would hold the Italians back as the 400k that hadn’t my been caught in Sudan evacuated to the convoy. General James Lochhead Jack would surrender the remaining troops once the convoy left, lowering the final British flag and giving it to the Italian general personally. The British wouldn’t surrender to any damn Turks.

After some more preparation, the fleet and convoy set out. The entire British Mediterranean fleet along with the HMAS Imperator and 6 other airships departed as blasts could be heard behind them. As part of a scorched Earth campaign, the entrances to the Suez were to be sealed. While just a small interference, it would slow the Central Powers down.

The fleet was to stay in the Middle of the Red Sea to avoid coastal bombardment. After that, they would make a run through Djibouti. It would hopefully go well. The Mediterranean fleet was quite powerful, still, Hood was uneasy. With these volunteers were Britain’s great hope. They would lift the fire of the inferno that would beat the Central Powers.

My dear Admiral,

Sorry this message is short, I beg you treat my friends who stayed back to help us flee well. They’re braver than most. You really beat us his time. Be seeing you around.

Sincerely,
Grand Admiral Hood

Spain

As the Spanish fleet blocked the Gibraltar force’s escape, they seemed to forget that Britannia still ruled the waves of the Atlantic.

A quarter of the British Atlantic fleet including 5 dreadnoughts, 3 battleships, 8 cruises and 15 destroyers launched themselves at the Spanish as the 45,000 surging soldiers fled Gibraltar. They started heir escape as the British fleet threw down with the Spanish enemy. At this point, the Spanish fleet date lied with their Admiral. Stand and be destroyed with honor, or flee like cowards.

Meanwhile, in Galicia, small recon zeppelins that were too high to hit with fortress guns surveyed the area. Invasion plans were to be prepared to match the terrain soon. For now, it was time to wait…

Denmark

As the Civil War began, the British Force in Kiel held firm. 200,000 extra soldiers reinforced their position to defend against the Germans. Accompanying them were 150,000 soldiers that were to march North. They would support true Danish loyalists and crush the Communist and Fascist forces. Hopefully, they could help end this civil war quickly.

Finally, a convoy steamed through the Canal. A continuous stream of weapons and equipment were to be sent to Russia to reinforce the Russian troops escorted by the British fleet.

Australia, somewhere in Innawanga

Emmille Watson strided into General Chauvel’s camp. He was escorted by a handful of heavily armed Mi5 agents.

“Greetings General,” he began, “I understand you have answered the call to retake Australia. The Home islands are honored that you decided to rise to the challenge. You must know that now, you have been given control of the New Zealand army and 50,000 British soldiers as well as any spare equipment that you could want. Mi5 has also offered their agents in the continent. I have been appointed as your liaison to the Government. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

He then extended a hand to the General.

Arabia

Lawrence couldn’t believe it. The Ottomans were practically shooting themselves in the head. Arabs had heard of the Ottoman troops surrounding Mecca. People were staring to flock to the city, rifles in hand. They would not allow the Ottomans to desecrate such a holy place for their own selfish goals. This was coupled with the emerging news of Lawrence’s deal with Sharif. If they helped the British and fought back the Ottomans, they would be given their own grand Arab state. By now, there were thousands of Arabs that had arrived. Lawrence could feel the anger and knew that a full scale revolt was right around the corner….

All it would take would be a little push…

Spain, Mi5 files, classified

Though there were few Mi5 spies in Spain, that didn’t mean they couldn’t be useful. The spies did small things to build tension. A disguised spy would shoot a labor union members, a policeman would be shot, small things to some, but in Spain, any addition to the now massive powder leg of revolution would just make things worse. Soon, something would burst.

West Africa

The Spanish had now taken Dakar. However, it was no matter. 100,000 Colonial soldiers rushed to secure the lines. With the Spanish supply lines stretchers across desert, holding them back should be easy.

The German Colonies

The campaigns had gone quite well. The colonies of Togo, Namibia and Cameroon we’re almost completely occupied with the exception of some colonial fortresses that still fought valiantly. Meanwhile, Spanish Equatorial Guinea had been invaded. Soldiers began to occupy the territory and stamp down any resistance. In Tanzania, the going was much more rough. The Germans were still holding strong in the coast. It would take awhile to dislodge these hardened forces. On the Italian lines in Kenya, the forces were reinforced with 100,000 more British Home troops. They were quickly deployed to the front to make their stand and hold, ready to create a stalemate.

Michael Hargrove, otherwise known by his code name of 008 was ready. The city was being transferred to the Italians and their spy agency must already be here. He decided to leave a paper trail for someone to follow. He carried vital information. The U.K. wanted to talk about something important, and for now, they needed a serious audience...

The back allies of Paris
Jacques Moreau looked behind him cautiously and nervously gripped the revolver that was laying in his pocket as he entered the ruined manor . The reasons for Mr Moreau's paranoia were altogether justified when you understand that he was one of the last remaining leaders of an outwardly socialist perhaps even communist political group, ever since Petain had moved in and seized control of the government his ministry of public loyalty had been doing a frighteningly good job at all those who dare attempt to raise a fist at the government and recently their propaganda machine had declared an all out war against all leftist groups within the country, their primary ammunition; The Paris commune, the revolution that they claimed had started a downward spiral for the great republic that had only been reversed by Petain seizing control of the government.

The worst thing about this campaign on the home front was that the public was falling for this dictatorial drivel! War often tore nations apart when they were facing heavy losses however in rare cases it could force them to double down and begin a new wave of national unity and unfortunately for the proletariat it had happened in the worst possible way, the people had placed Petain - a man who had seized power forcefully - on some kind of pedestal forming somewhat of a cult of personality around him. It was despicable and Jacques was willing to do anything so that it could be reversed... Even betray his country.

He furtively looked about the ruined manor, it had once belonged to one of the wealthy industrialist families of Paris who had made a dammed fortune out of the second industrial revolution and had sent the proletariat to the smog ridden slums. Oddly enough this house hadn't been destroyed by Italian bombers but rather it had been burnt down by the ministry of military redistribution, the family who had once owned had been found to not be contributing enough to the war effort and had their estates confiscated, they themselves had been sent off to the slums to work in the vast munition complexes that now dominated the outskirts of the city as for the house itself it and the entire neighbourhood was to be demolished so that a new industrial park to be constructed upon it's corpse. Jacques chuckled to himself, the irony was simply to precious to ignore.

Then Jacques spotted a figure wearing a dark overcoat and brown bowler hat standing in the middle of the ruined lounge looking at a torn, burnt photo of the old inhabitants of this house. Jacques called out in a somewhat trembly voice "To all things there are a season" the man in the lounge looked up before his eyes fell upon Jacques, the man himself had a long sharp face that seemed to permanently locked into a cold grimace when he began to speak his voice was like a sharp dagger " So you're the communist I believe" Jacques rose himself to his full height and said in a confident voice " Indeed I am the leader of the French people's alliance for social advancement" The grim man rolled his eyes and responded in a lethargic voice " Whatever all you're fronts and organisations and revolutionary committees serve the same purpose, now do you have the public support that you promised my government?"

Jacques began to sweat a little, he had a number of people throughout the urban areas of France ready to start agitation hopefully from there the people would realise the righteous nature of the revolutionary cause, of course that wasn't what the spy wanted to hear but Jacques needed the Italians guns if not the revolution would be murdered in it's cradle. Jacques reassembled his confidence and said "Of course, the people of France will not stand for..." Suddenly a rustle in the ruins interrupted their conversation.

Both men turned around quickly to see what could've been moving and they were both quickly able to catch the glimpse the shine of some metal thing. It was one of those cursed ocular arachnid drones that the ministry of public loyalty had been deploying across the entire nation! Both men pulled out their pistols and began firing wildly in the direction of the arachnid yet too late it had scuttled away out of the ruins and presumably to one of the ministry of public loyalty's offices to have it's film watched and both men's faces revealed to the ministry. The two men looked at one another an utter of complete terror on both their faces. In an action that to any outsiders would have seemed perfectly coordinated, the two men both raised their pistols up against one another and pull the trigger. The spy was killed instantly the bullet went through his skull eviscerating his brain yet Jacques was left alive a little longer, the bullet had only gone through his chest leaving him to bleed out, Jacques smiled as he bled out at least he wouldn't have to find himself in one of those horrific ministry laboratories.

The Spanish front
The Spanish border may be quite impregnable yet there was one front with them that could still be won; the home front. The Spanish had been growing consistently more and more disgruntled with the Spanish government ever since their loss in the Spanish-American war and that discontent had carried over into wartime a perfect storm ready to be unleashed by the French intelligence agency. Over the past few weeks since the Spanish declared war a multitude of French agents had been sneaking into Catalonia accompanied with a handful of MI5 agents to stir up agitation and supply rebel groups, so far the French had been making ample use of their Arachnid drones to track own Italian NIS agents and Spanish counter-intelligence forces and make sure that they didn't put a wrench in their plans.

As for supplying revolutionaries, the FIA had managed to come into contact with several groups of Communists, anarchists and Catalonian nationalists and had promised them support if they were to ever launch a rebellion against the Spanish government yet the difficult part was getting them supplies, with the border so tightly patrolled and the Medeteranian effectively becoming an Italian lake a new solution had to be devised, instead of going over, under or around the Spanish border supplies would instead be dropped via airship into locations that had been agreed upon with the revolutionaries, guns were not the only thing to be given but experts on guerrilla warfare and veteran revolutionaries who sought sanctuary in France were also smuggled into Spain. The revolution was still some way off but they had made head way.
