Name: James (Jimmy) Henry Barrow
Role: Student
Appearance:

Height and Weight: 6'0", 172 lbs
Short-bio: Jimmy was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, but his mother and father moved to Burkburnett Texas when he was two years old. They were poor, but not poverty stricken, and they lived a comfortable if cramped life. He did wear a lot of hand me down clothes however, but he didn't care much. His father left when he was young, using the classic excuse of "Im heading out for some cigarettes," and then he never returned. When Jimmy got older, he found it kind of funny that his father had become a stereotype. He became friends with another boy from town when he was young, a native american boy named Joseph, who's family farmed sheep outside of town. The two were inseparable, and made an unceasing ruckus from the time they were old enough to walk and onward. Both frequently were in trouble at school, and often were known for getting into fistfights.

When Jimmy was young, he began to play guitar, and fell in love with the instrument. He loved old country music, and as he listened his interest grew to encompass all music in general. There was really nothing he didnt like, but he was particularly focused on country, bluegrass and Americana music. He felt it fit him well, and the stories of life in american resonated for a young man growing up in the Texas plains. In his music, he saw himself, and developed a dream of becoming a country singer one day. He fell in love with a musician named Joe Fletcher in particular, who was known by practically no one but who Jimmy thought was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

When Jimmy was 16, he became the first in his grade to get a car, a shitty old For Bronco that he spent the following summer restoring with all the money he could spare from his paychecks. In the end, it turned out looking like a prop from a movie, just a little scruffy, but with the patched together charm of something deeply loved. However, when it came to cars, Jimmy was beat by Joseph, who spent a year trading up cars until he was able to buy and original 1988 Camaro IROC. To say that Jimmy was jealous would be an understatement, but Joseph made up for it by frequently taking Jimmy with him, the two boys riding around town and listening to music as they tried to pick up girls. Joseph was often more successful, being attractive, owning a cool car, and having the added mystique of being the only native american boy in town the same age as any girls. Jimmy however, despite his often goofy and wild personality did meet someone, a girl named Emma. After an odd first few months of knowing each other, their relationship grew stronger, going from being friends to. . . something more. But, they were a good match, and Jimmy always loved how she would tell him he was like a puppy, or run her hands through his hair.

Jimmy however, though smart, had an incredibly hard time paying attention. He got awful grades, due to his tendency to not show up and spend his time driving around town, smoking weed and drinking beer with his buddies, or playing guitar. His teachers always admonished him for this, saying that he had a clear intelligence, but that they just didn't know what to do with him. He had been held back before in eighth grade, and as his Sophomore year in high school came to a close, he knew he wouldn't be able to make it in Junior year. He dropped out briefly and began to work, doing prep in a local restaurant. However, he was bored, and knew in his head he was to smart to be a dropout. It invigorated him to try and figure something out, and at his mothers behest, he got in touch with an aunt. While his immediate family was poor, his mothers extended family was more middle class, but her sister was something else. She was a kind of rich Jimmy couldnt even fathom, having gone to Milford-Gaudier on a scholarship and marrying a New Orleans lawyer. Jimmy called her, and asked her for help. She agreed to help Jimmy, and told him she would pull as many strings as she could to get him medication, and back in school. He packed up his old Bronco, hugged Joseph and kissed Emma goodbye, promising to stay in touch, before driving East to New Orleans.

His aunt, he found, was a piece of shit. She was vain and shallow, and was far to caught up in ridiculous drama with the other rich ladies at her country club. Her life reminded him of his old high school, and he quickly found himself being carted around by his aunt while she helped him get into Milford-Gaudier, and he was shown off like a prize show pony. His aunt seemed determined to use him as an example of how much more virtuous and kind she was than her peer's, like he was a poor uneducated bumpkin in need of saving by his virtuous savior. Jimmy hated her, but was smart enough to recognize her uses, and took a perverse pleasure in playing his guitar to annoy her. She hated the music he loved, and complained whenever he would play his favorite songs. He acted nice, but he knew it bothered her, and so he kept it up until everything was squared away. He had been diagnosed with ADHD, given medication, and his aunt had managed to secure him a place at Milford-Gaudier. His two older cousins, Chip and Lily had both gone as well, and made sure to tell him that he wouldn't fit in there if he kept on wearing boots and playing the kind of music he played. He ignored them however, knowing that they meant no insult and were just trying to look out for their cousin. Finally, he was flown up to JFK International with his aunt and uncle, and signed in as an eighteen year old Junior at Milford-Gaudier Academy. It was beautiful, fancy and rich, and Jimmy felt out of place. But, it was one of the best private schools in the nations, and Jimmy couldn't get over the feeling that he had done pretty well for a poor trailer park kid from Texas.

Name: Lyanna Chambers
Role: Student
Appearance:
Height and Weight: 5'7", 125 pounds, a little on the skinny side if anything, but generally average.
Short-bio: Honestly, there is really not that much to say about her life. While personality wise, she is a strange one, as her life goes, its been rather uneventful. She was born in Portland, Oregon, and then eventually her parents decided to move to the east coast, all the way over in the New York City area, though in the outskirts because the city itself was so expensive. And really, beyond that, it was simply going on about her life. Somehow she has managed to not get herself into too much trouble, though she has gotten in trouble a few times. Mostly others that she got involved with did, though, like the bullies back when she was young. But she has taken things a bit too far in the past nonetheless, or just got in trouble because of, well, being kind of scandalous at times.

Seems to have a fascination with combat. Not so much to join the military or something, but she likes swords, kung-fu, boxing, and various other forms of hand to hand combat or sword fighting. She has done some fencing classes in the past, but for obvious reasons, she did not take the sword with her. However, it is at home, which isn't all that far away from school, so she could, and probably will, partake in such a thing again in the future. She is also new to this school, as it was this year that her and her parents had decided to give it a try. You would think that she would have been here for years, but not really. This might not actually go all too well, having her in a private school environment instead of a public school environment, but nonetheless, here she was.

Also seems to have an obsession with tech, and loves to read up on new tech news and such like that. Probably would be the sort to experiment with augments when they ever become a thing. This also goes over into her own life, and she has stuff like an HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and so on. Just various weird tech gadgets. This also lead to her knowing a lot about tech in general, and computers, seeming to be good with them all. On top of it all, she did get lead to, well, less savory things, like hacking, but she doesn't really utilize it much, just thought that it would be a cool thing to learn how to do. And who knows. Maybe it WOULD find some practical use someday.

And besides that, pretty much everything else about her was covered. She is rather basic in the history sense, but a little more bizarre and interesting in pretty much everything else.

ADDITIONAL SUGGESTED INFORMATION
Birthday: September 23rd, 2002
Hometown: Portland, Oregon, United States
Personality: Lyanna seems to be a bit of an odd one. Not majorly so like some people, but she has some weird social behaviors, and makes weird jokes and comments at random. She's not really rude, most of the time, but she's not really afraid to call someone an asshole if they are one. She seems to pretty openly stand up to people being bullied, and not really afraid to go full on attack mode on a bully if they end up being too much trouble. Pretty openly swears, but the way that she does it, and some of the insults that pop into her head at random are...rather interesting. Seems to have random odd moments where she just like, high fives people enthusiastically if they want to, or gives them a fist bump. While not seeming overly cheery a lot of the time, or down for that matter, she does seem to get "hyped up" a lot at random sometimes. Seems to become rather stubborn at times, for better or worse depending on the situation. Is a bit of an adventurous sort, and just like before, for better or worse, as that can go bad sometimes. Isn't a fan of taking anyone's shit, so she usually expresses her distaste for anyone being a pain in the ass. Has odd behavioral traits in general, which can come off as annoying to others, or make them uncomfortable. Acts rather "improper" a lot in general, and rather inappropriate. Not entirely in the sexual sense, as she's pretty mild sexually in some sense. She does seem to have moments of just kissing people, or sometimes even make out, but the relationships seem to always be a short term thing on impulse at random, and oftentimes she barely knows them and they don't last any longer than a couple of days of just, well, kissing. Never anything beyond that, though. So it all just comes off as rather...off and bizarre how she approaches lots of it. Does seem to like to party sometimes, but also isn't always into the whole full on crazy party stuff, and doesn't even really drink or do drugs or any of that sort of thing. Just parties. Overall, though, she does seem to generally be caring, and would fight rather hard for any friends of hers, she's just a little...odd and all over the place.
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual, with a slight lean towards a preference of males.
Likes: Technology, technological advancements, hacking, investigating weird stuff she reads about, doing research, sword fighting, kung-fu, hand-to-hand combat, boxing to an extent, robots, A.I., random weird gadgets, boys, girls, oddities, kissing, vegetables, combat history, military history, history in general to some degree, science, ect.
Dislikes: Bullies (Has kicked them in the nuts in the past), anyone who has a superior complex, anyone overly rude really, people who are clueless about technology (just frustrates her), computer viruses, needy people, thirsty people (You know, THOSE people), most fruits, politics, politicians, government a lot of the time, English, ect
Skills: 1.Seems to have investigative skills, oddly enough, and does seem to enjoy it. Be it, say, in a situation where they need to dig up information on a location, she seems oddly good at that.
2.Has some hacking abilities, though doesn't tend to actually use it for much. But they're there...
3.Computer and tech knowledge in general it seems
4.Seems to have some basic self defense knowledge, and is still learning more.
5.Basic skills in sword fighting.
Disorders/Handicaps: If anything, maybe ADD, but probably not a major case of it. But its there. Besides that, she does seem to have some behavioral issues, where she doesn't exactly behave appropriately like she probably should be in some social situations, coming off as rather awkward, inappropriate, and so on because of it.
Fears, Wishes, and Goals: Fears: A fear of heights, which doesn't seem major but does bother her. Same with a fear of flying. And a fear of water, which also doesn't seem major but does unsettle her. Seems to have a fear of making big life decisions, or big decisions in general. Seems to have a fear of commitment to...well, anything really, be it a relationship, a career, or some hobby. Seems to have a slight fear of actual sexual intercourse, despite her personality traits, pushing anyone away if they ended up wanting to go that far. Slight fear of loneliness. Seems to also have a fear of dying, but oddly at the same time doesn't seem to terribly care if she died early. But when faced with it directly? That's a different story. Bit of a fear of the new, like going to a school. Probably a fear of medications a bit. A fear of actually falling in love with someone. Likely related to the fear of water, a fear of being in the sea or on the sea. Also has no interest in the whole childbirth thing, so that is probably part of her fear.
Wishes: Honestly, nothing in particular. Pretty much just to live her life.
Goals: Just to make it through high school without anything horribly going wrong, really.
Distinguishing Marks: Nothing particularly noteworthy.
Voice: Lily Loveless, but probably less of a British accent.
Other: Snipper of Music Taste: Gorillaz when they're hip-hop, Run the Jewels, Killer Mike, Eminem, OutKast, Clipping, El-P, Kendrick Lamar, Dalek, Death Grips, Aesop Rock, Busdriver, Danny Brown, Shabazz Palaces, Kanye West, ect.
Snipper of Style: this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and weird shit like this being more common for her.

Potato salad goes great with ketchup.

Accepted. Though it's odd she dislikes the language she speaks.

REQUIRED INFORMATION
Name: Claudia Steinfeld
Role: Student
Appearance:
Height and Weight: 5'6" and 128 pounds
Short-bio: Claudia was born into a privileged lifestyle, as her parents had been successful from an early age, as they had all gotten successful degrees in their respective career paths. As she grew up, they had just become even more successful. Her mother was a CEO of a fairly big, mostly local business, and her dad was a highly successful New York City lawyer. So as you can expect, there wasn't much suffering in the income department. In fact, this led to her getting a lot of the most expensive stuff, in clothes and phones alike. While she didn't tend to entirely let it get to her head, she was a little out of touch at times. She wants to understand, though, she just comes off as kind of out of the loop at how poorly off some people are, because she's never had any issues with stuff like buying $100 to $1,000 clothes items, or getting the latest IPhone or IPad. However, she was never a spoiled rich brat. She never really gave her money to others, except friends, but she didn't act rich and spoiled and nagged her parents for everything. She asked, sure, but they never overly spoiled her in ridiculous ways. And they taught her valuable life lessons. She had a good business sense like her mom, (Edit). And she developed her own dreams at a very young age, that being fashion design and model. Her parents jobs would definitely help, so she got a lot of advice from them on how to work towards potentially running a business. She studied hard in the things that she cared about that would help her get to these goals, though fell behind in the things that she cared less about.

Because of her parents money, they had managed to get their daughter into some modeling at a young age, for some local stuff, because she wanted to. She still does stuff for some local magazines and business advertisements to this day, and that's somewhat why she has as much clothes as she does, because a lot of it was given to her for her work. This had made her a decent sum of money for her own work in her own life, for herself, so she was able to pay for herself to some degree. And she rather enjoyed it, though she dreamed about being the designers of said clothes, and not just the model for them.

Of course, on top of this, her family also lived in a rather nice apartment, It had always been high living in that department, her parents having expensive cars, and their apartment in general being expensive with expensive furniture. Though it wasn't so ridiculously out there like some of those super rich houses, but it was rather nice nonetheless. Claudia missed it at times, but was happy where she was as well. And its not like she didn't regularly get to see it.

Her parents had always focused on giving her the best of educations that money could buy, but when she turned 14, they had decided, and with her own suggestions of it, that she went to a boarding school. One reason was her family was always busy, so they thought it best. That said, her parents visit her regularly, and her them, when they can. Her parents of course helped with that whole part of presumably paying for boarding and all that. And so, now she was here, going on her 3rd year at the school, excited for what the new year would bring into her life. Crazy parties? Getting a boyfriend? Drama? Who knows, but she was ready.

ADDITIONAL SUGGESTED INFORMATION
Birthday: August 21st, 2003
Hometown: Brooklyn, New York
Personality: Claudia tends to be a little bit of a quirky character. Not blatantly so like some people, but its there nonetheless. She has always been rather sociable, too, seeming to do well with groups of friends. Like, she prefers to hang out with people and groups of friends over any sort of isolation. So presumably, she just knows a lot of people here that she hangs out with, even if simply as background characters, as this is her 3rd year here and there is no way she would have gone 2 years without getting to know people. Seems to generally be a friendly sort, too. Maybe not overly so, but friendly nonetheless. Always rather fashionable, seemingly making personality statements, so to speak, with her styles of the day. Which change pretty much every day. While nice, does seem to fall into the whole crowd of big groups of friends sometimes, and does seem to get amusement at the suspense of others sometimes. Usually when they legitimately deserve it, though, but still not always the nicest thing. Isn't a fan of actual bullying in general, though. More gets amusement out of bullies sometimes getting what they deserve, or at people "trying too hard", sometimes involving trying to impress her. Has an ambitious personality, though doesn't seem to worry about working your ass off, either. Though she does plan to put a lot of effort into her dreams. Rarely gets outright angry, more annoyed then anything. Has romantic interests, and would someday like to have a boyfriend, get married, and maybe someday have kids and all that, but doesn't really go out of her way to find anyone, preferring it to happen naturally. Could probably be flirty when she wants to be, but doesn't go out of her way for it and would likely more leave it to flirtatious interactions with a boyfriend. Likes to party, though isn't really a fan of those big teen parties where everyone gets wasted and does stupid shit, preferring other types of parties. Doesn't mean she might not go to one to experience it, though.
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual, and likely a bit of homosexuality, though not a ton. Its more that she's sexually attracted to boys, but can find girls physically attractive pretty easily. Just might not so much want intimate relationships with them. Doesn't rule out experimentation, probably.
Likes: Fashion, fashion designing, jewelry, makeup, good cleaning products, modeling, history, literature, writing, language in general, grammar, French, experiencing different cultures, varied high end foods, fashion shows, fashion magazines, celebrities, business culture, management, parties, dance music, some pop music (Mostly synthpop), particular types of hip-hop, her parents, friends, shopping, malls, money, plays, various types of shows in general, ect.
Dislikes: Egotistical people, and braggers. People that tell you your dream isn't doable because they couldn't do it themselves, major bullies, quitters, trolls, poorly run businesses, metal, most rock, celebrity tabloids (At least the extremely terrible ones)mood killers, drama queens, science, math, ect.
Skills: 1.Is rather good at knowing, and learning history, it seeming to stay in her mind quite well. She probably knows random history related stuff.
2.Is also good at English and Literature and all that sort of thing. Her grammar is good because of that, and she can be well spoken and might write some books too.
3.Has a knack for being good at picking fashion. She can pick what works well for herself, and others alike, and if someone wants help with that, she will help
4.Very good at speaking French, which makes her happy because she always liked the sound of the French language (And no, not Canadian French, though she'd probably try to learn if offered)
5.Good at modeling, too, as she had done a lot of practice with all the "moves" you have to make for modeling, or photo shoots to model some clothes.
Disorders/Handicaps: Nothing super defining, though I'm sure there is something because everyone has something.
Fears, Wishes, and Goals: Fears: A slight fear of heights (though oddly not in planes), slight fear of wild animals, depending on what they are. Slight fear of isolation, due to her social behavior, and a slight fear of spiders. A slight fear of dentists. Slight fear of firearms, though isn't against trying them someday. Slight fear of being out of mobile phone contact. Slight few of ever needing to be medicated for something, because she knows drugs can be addicting. And a fear of failure is her most prominent one.
Wishes: Get married, though everything in goals is a bigger priority than marriage. But she wouldn't really mind adding on marriage someday. That the world can live in harmony together, as she see's a clash of cultures creating some amazing things (even if it inevitably causes problems, too). Its not that she's some peace loving hippy, but she loves to see cultures collide and make something amazing, and in her mind, who the hell doesn't want to try other cultures amazing foods? Probably others.
Goals: Become as successful as her parents are, if not more so. Open up her own fashion line someday. Maybe open up her own modeling business in general. Try to become the best that she can be. Go to college and graduate with some good degrees.
Distinguishing Marks: Not really distinguishing so to speak, but she does have pierced ears. Oftentimes wears some form of jewelry, too. Besides that, nothing really super noteworthy that's visible.
Voice: Chloe Grace Moretz
Other: Snippet of her music taste: Rocket League Soundtrack, Lorde, Chvrches, Depeche Mode, Grimes, New Order, Purity Ring, The Knife, iamamiwhoami, t.A.T.u, Milkywhale, Daniel Avery, Jon Hopkins, Moderat, Modeselektor, Solar Fields, Crypt of the Necrodancer Soundtrack, Furi Soundtrack, Robot Roller Derpy Disco Dodgeball Soundtrack, Goldfrapp, Let's Eat Grandma, and so on and so forth.
Snippet of her style: This, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and this
Has a Tesla Model S P100D that her parents got her for her 16th birthday.
Some pictures of her parents home. Her parents have a 3 bedroom, 3 bath home. 1 bedroom for the parents, 1 bedroom for the daughter, and one guest bedroom. Parents and daughter get their own bathroom while the 3rd one is the whole houses bathroom. Both the parents bedroom and the daughters bedroom have a walk in closet.

REQUIRED INFORMATION
Name: Edward T. DuFour; Deadname is Maureen A. DuFour
Role: Student
Appearance:
Image

Height and Weight: 5’3”/162cm at 113lbs/51.2kg
Short-bio: Edward Theodore DuFour was born Maureen Antoinette DuFour in Belize to his father, Henri DuFour, who still holds a management position in Total S.A., and his mother, Katherine Arthur, a former teacher. Edward’s early childhood, years 0 to 5, was spent in Belize as his father served as an advisor in the budding Belizean oil industry, visiting France during the summers in particular.

When it came time for his father to move countries, as required by his job, Edward’s mother fiercely opposed it, but reluctantly went along to the first of many countries Edward would go on to live in, Thailand. While Edward learned conversational Thai from the local children he played with, his parents’ marriage quickly disintegrated over the two years they spent in Thailand.

The dagger in the heart of Edward’s parents’ marriage ended up being his father’s next move to Kazakhstan. His mother refused to come along, returned to Belize, and ended up separating and divorcing his father in due time. Edward, his father, and younger brother lived in Kazakhstan for three years, before the next move came.

Edward and half of his small family then wound up in New Orleans—a place that went on to awaken something within him. Until his move to New Orleans at the advent of puberty, Edward had never before properly looked himself through in the mirror, nor did he have a word for what he felt was hanging over him. The uniquely liberal city provided the perfect cocktail for self-discovery, and it became abundantly clear to Edward that he was Edward, not Maureen, by his 12th birthday. While in the United States, he came to have an interest in the affairs of the first half of the 20th century in the USA, and dedicated himself to developing a Mid-Atlantic accent for his next move.

Shortly after his 13th birthday, Edward was moved to Chicago, but attended school there for only a year before he was sent to Milford-Gaudier Academy so he would not have to move around for high school. His freshman and sophomore years were spent closeted. During his summer spent partially in Belize City with his mother and partially with his father’s family in Annemasse, he consolidated his resources, and planned to reveal his true self for the start of the school year simply by being himself. Aware of the uphill battle he faced going into the school year, Edward buckled down for his first day, and prepared to explain himself and hold his ground wherever necessary.

ADDITIONAL SUGGESTED INFORMATION
Birthday: May 11
Hometown: Belize City(Primary)/Annemasse(Secondary)/Bangkok/Almaty/New Orleans/Chicago
Personality: Edward’s personality is generally eccentric and upbeat even in the face of certain crushing realities. Even if his propensity towards smiling even when downtrodden, his forgiving nature, and his old-fashioned polite mannerisms may portray weakness, Edward holds underneath his unassuming surface an iron will, and a capacity for brutal judgement when he choses. Even though his will is strong, he’s generally quick to compromise outside of a select few areas. Edward is rather smart, runs obsessive with things he is passionate about. Although he makes a point of hiding it whenever possible, his patience tends to run thin easily, usually signified by his speech becoming noticeably more clipped and curt. His temper takes time to build up to any notable outburst, but if Edward truly boils over, he flies completely off the handle.
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual
Likes: History, Old Films, Languages, fine dining, early 20th century fashioned, exploration of fashioned, cooking, doodling, and music
Dislikes: Bigotry, being talked down to, the fact that he’s far shorter than most of his peers, having to repeat himself, lip-smacking, and individual exploration-based math curriculums
Skills: Edward is fluent and literate in English, Kriol, and French, and is proficient in Thai and Kazakh, although his read abilities are lacklustre for both languages. He is a reasonably skilled organist, and can also play the piano to some extend. He possesses a good bit of knowledge in history, and some specific knowledge regarding known science behind LGBTQ+ biology.
Disorders/Handicaps: Although not officially diagnosed, Eduard runs on the anxious and depressed side, and has a slight motor tic that acts up when he becomes stressed.
Fears, Wishes, and Goals: Perhaps Edward’s greatest fear is by far being unable to transition, followed by pregnancy. His greatest immediate desire is to transition, accompanied by the specific aim to grow moustaches in multiple styles.
Distinguishing Marks: Edward has a slight motor tic, and abnormally neatly groomed peach fuzz on his upper lip.
Voice: Patti LuPone, albeit a bit deeper and more masculine in speech pattern.
Other: Although his native accent is Belizean with the occasional French twang, Edward usually speaks with a Mid-Atlantic accent. Being that he’s been in many environments, however, he does tend to code-switch easily.
His music tastes are varied, but his favourite artists are Stromae, Keshyou, Caravan Palace, The Stupendium, and the Sơn Tùng M-TP

That is quite a lot of languages, but I suppose it is understandable Edward would be somewhat proficient in them - given his background. I'm normally hesitant to accept that, but I assume you wouldn't flaunt it around in the RP.

Accepted.

And now its finished.

REQUIRED INFORMATION
Name: Janet Sarah McNulty
Role: Student
Appearance:
Image

Height and Weight: 5'5", 122 lbs
Short-bio: Janet was born in Brockton Massachusetts, a city famous for its tendency towards poverty and violence. And boy, did she get plopped right down in the middle of it. Janet's father was some guy from Boston, and her mother was a heroin addicted prostitute. They had very little, and though Janet knew her mother loved her at heart, she was still fucked up on drugs more often than not, leaving Janet pretty much up to her own devices. She was never able to love her mother because of this, and always resented her for bringing Janet into the world she had. And often times, she would be gone for days at a time, leaving Janet alone in their cold apartment. One of her first formative memories was playing outside when her neighbor, a frail, crazy woman named Carmen came out and started yelling at the kids about government corruption and how they were part of the problem, and sliced Janet with a pocket knife. She always remembered that, and probably always will.

In school however she did alright, and fell in love with reading. She read constantly, practically inhaling books and absorbing their stories. In the pages she found an escape from her poor, angry and violent childhood. Inside books she could escape to magical kingdoms with Frodo, or face off against the dastardly Long John Silver with Jim Hawkins. It was a place where she felt somewhat safe and content, where she could drown out the sounds of the neighbor beating his wife or her. Her life came to revolve around her books, with her reading as she ate her breakfast (if they had it) and after dodging the local child molester on her commute to school, she would read for her time there. At home, she would curl up in a closet with all the blankets, and read even more. She was far above her reading level, reading at a middle school level when she was eight, and when social services came Janet could remember how her nice case worker had been very impressed with her reading abilities. Her case worker, a woman named Ms Lee, asked Janet if she ever wanted to write stories of her own, and just then she woke something in Janet that Janet didn't even know she wanted. She wanted to create, and she wanted to share her stories, and have people feel the same way hearing about her characters as she felt when she read about others.

As she was passed between group home and foster family for the next few years, Janet began to write just as much as she read. She began to work on a map one day, one that at first meant nothing but soon grew and grew and grew, until she knew she had struck gold. She drew maps and wrote entire histories notebooks. She had entire family tree's for important aristocratic families in her created world, and knew the story of every major nation. She wanted to write these stories, and eventually started to put them onto paper as well, and sent them to any magazine that would take them. She rarely got published, she wasn't any good after all. But when she was twelve and thirteen, she managed to get a few published in magazines. They were small magazines, the kinds with only a few thousand readers, (neither had more than 1,300 monthly readers.) But it was a start, and for the first time Janet felt like she could maybe become someone. It felt good, and it filled her with hope.

The second time she felt like she may be able to become someone came when she was thirteen as well, when she met the Drummond family at a mingle. Prospective parents would occasionally come to meet a bunch of the kids, but it was rare for the older ones to be picked. It was always the toddlers and the little kids, the older kids were to angry or sad. But Mr and Ms Drummond, they came right over to the older kids with they young son Jayden, and they talked them all up. They had already made up their minds that they wanted to help one of the kids who had the least chance of being adopted, and in the end, they got along well with Janet. And she got along well with them, though they weirded her out. In Brockton, the white kids and the black kids had rarely mingled, instead the white kids from the edge of town and the black kids from the center of town would fight each other, and hurl racial slurs back and forth. But the Drummonds, a black family, took home Janet, a strange and quiet white girl. It showed her that maybe, Brockton wasn't the norm, and people were capable of love and respect no matter who they were.

Her first year with the Drummond's was odd. Their house was large, beautiful yet refined. Jayden wore a Harvard sweatshirt, and Mr Conran was a doctor at Boston Children's Hospital. Ms Conran had been a teacher at a private school before Jayden was born, but they had moved to Boston for Mr Drummond's job. They were originally from Jersey, and though Jayden had expressed little interest in attending the school where Ms Drummond's had taught, when she was asked Janet definitely was. She signed up to go to Milford-Gaudier, and with the influence of her new family she was able to get in. It felt good, like she was meant for something now. She spent freshman and sophomore year at Milford-Gaudier, and found that she didn't quite fit in. Most of the other kids came from much more clean cut, white bread suburban to upper class backgrounds, and with her discomfort and awkwardness in such and upper crust place, coupled with her adamant defense of Boston teams in a New York supporting area, she stuck out a little. Still, she stuck it out, and used the resources there to continue her dreams of becoming a writer.

ADDITIONAL SUGGESTED INFORMATION
Birthday: October 1st, 2003
Hometown: Brockton, Massachusetts. Lives in Boston.
Personality: Quiet, reserved and a little aloof, Janet is a loner at heart and tends to try and keep it that way. She is however rather smart, and has a way with words, making her very witty and often snarky. Due to her childhood, she is fairly tough as well, and though she abhor's violence she is plenty comfortable with it, should she get in a fight. However, more often than not, she is just simply quiet and thoughtful, and tends to not bother people unless they give her a reason.
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual, but still coming to terms with that in her own head.
Likes: The outdoors, quiet, winter, a good book on a rainy day.
Dislikes: Violence, trash tv, modern art, people who talk without really saying anything.
Skills: Janet is a lover of music and art, and dreams of becoming a writer. She has written multiple short stories which she has managed to get published (though only in small magazines, never anything major) and has worked out an entire world in notebooks full of characters and locations for the books she wants to write. She also is a good singer, and plays guitar and drums.
Disorders/Handicaps: Dysthimia, or Persistent Depressive Disorder (sometimes called walking depression.) Likely has PTSD.
Fears, Wishes, and Goals: Fears: needles, violence Wishes: To move past her troubled childhood and start again Goals: To become a published author and share her stories and characters with the world.
Distinguishing Marks: A scar on her left shoulder from her drugged out neighbor when she was a kid.
Voice: Janet speaks softly, but with a distinct confidence to it. Her voice is of a medium timbre, and carries a slight Boston accent. She also tends to make frequent use of Boston slang.
Other: Janet is really more of a fruit person, but if she had to choose a salad it would probably be Potato Salad.

Music selection is as follows.

Broken Social Scene - Anthems For A Seventeen-Year Old Girl Billie Eilish - Bellyache Jake Bugg - Messed Up Kids Jake Bugg - I've Seen It All Mount Moon - You Dont Know FIDLAR - I Just Wanna Die The Front Bottoms - Vacation Town The Ofspring - The Kids Aren't Alright The Dodos - Walking Cage The Elephant - Cigarette Daydreams (Melophobia) Beck - Lost Cause

I had mentioned this in the Discord server, but I will iterate what I had stated: Since I hadn't anticipated having to drive six hours this morning, to Shreveport, I wasn't quite able to put out the posts I had originally planned to do - namely the introduction, and arrival, of my characters to the roleplay. If all goes well, I will do so tomorrow evening, when I return home.

Yet, in the meantime, I didn't want to postpone the creation of the IC-thread, which is linked in the first-post's heading of this thread, and anyone is welcome to posting a generic arrival of their characters - or you all may choose to collectively withhold doing so until my characters arrive. I will leave that option up to you.

Off the top of my head, merely his age (or at least him being a junior, instead, to match the others - including Madison this go-around), but I can give you a further idea of what else may need changing when I am back home tomorrow evening. I don't imagine much, if anything else. For what it's worth, all that is required of any application in this roleplay to be accepted, on the basis of detailed information, is information that is very easy, and quick, to procure.

Nah, jk, I know that's in Fahrenheit.

Consider it light jacket weather. ;)

This one does not, no. Loose dress-code, just nothing that isn't practically underwear.

Lyanna is odd, so her not liking her own language isn't too surprising.

Depends heavily. I've been to a public middle school, duration of only a couple of months - due to Hurricane Katrina, where a police officer would actually patrol the campus in the morning and afternoon, and occasionally during lunch.

Some would have a security guard, or a police officer, standing by at least when school is taking in or letting out. I'd imagine this school would be among them.

So, I've been to both public and private school, and I can tell you that there aren't really any security guards or cops at private schools. The school I went to was a middle school however, so it could be just that, but it was right next to a private high school as well and they didn't have any kind of security either.

Anyhow, from my brief two years in private school what I could tell was that they don't really have any kind of security, since the communal living makes it hard to really get anything by the school.

I'll do another tomorrow for Jimmy, but I'm already up way to late and I gotta work tomorrow.

My character will probably continue being a loner throughout this entire RP tbh. Also, why is he not in the dorm? I get that he could probably commute to the Academy every day or get a house near the area, but it seems way more fun in the dorm.

Sounds like a plan, though to be fair it might be worth having him interact with someone every now and then just so you've got something to write about. Besides, while Peter's also a loner, I could imagine him having at least one friend (or maybe a love interest) just so I don't really get bored writing him.

At first, I read it as her hating English classes (and to be fair I wasn't that good at English either, too many figures of speech). But still, it could be worse, like her communicating only in Hungarian.

I mean, he wants to. He wants to have friends, but he's just bad at getting them.
