Talking Point: 3pm approached and arrived and the nation was tuned into their laptops and smart TV to watch the game between Oldem Knights and Barbury Town. The scheduling gods had favoured things such that, in the end, the top two would play on the penultimate matchday. Pre-match Oldem had a one point lead and could clinch their first ever ANL title with a victory. However, from the start, it seemed as if they would have to wait, at the very least, a week. The Barbury Town players, spurred on by an impassioned pre-match speech by first manager Alan Eustathios and then a more expletive laden one from Jarls Magarhatery, just seemed to get to every ball first, challenge that little bit harder. Two first half goals left Oldem with a mountain to climb and the game was really over in the fifty-eighth minute when Falcon Case rose highest to a ball into the box to make it three-nil. This makes the title Barbury's to lose going into the final day, and what is even more tasty is that they will face the Knight's arch-rivals Mechanical in the final. However, they shouldn't expect Mechanical to be throwing the game - their ANL survival depends on it as they hover dangerously above the relegation zone at present.

The second tier sees Mandon United comfortably romp to the title to see their return to the top tier after an extended time in the wilderness. Manager Chris Orani has gone some way to rebuilding his reputation after something of a failure in his previous job at FC Brimstone, and now gets the chance to prove he can keep the former ANL mainstays in the top tier next season. Urbanista Young Boys, riding high with ten games to go, somehow fail to get even into the play-offs, denied their chance to prove themselves at the top level on goal difference, and so it is Mulhampstead, Uxminster Athletic and Calshott Lighthouse who must fight it out.
The bottom is exceptionally close, the bottom three teams all tied on points, but it is Gwinevra Bulls who can count themselves the lucky ones, as they just about keep their place in the league next season, with Skibbereen United and Urchfont Aggressors dropping down into the third tier.

The third tier sees Mona A.F.C return to the second tier for the first time in a long old while, Mona comfortably above everyone else in the division all season. Beneath them, Yerk United, Bouldertown and Wallwatch F.C complete the play-off teams. Jakkar Town, despite looking sunk a while ago, manage to survive on goal difference, with Docklands United heading down to the regionals along with Thurrock, who couldn't pull a run of form together.
