The Moonlight Lounge is group dedicated to role playing, video gaming, and general place to relax and unwind. The Lounge on the NationStates side is purely meant to cater to the roleplayer or frequenter of this particular website. As such the thread here is dedicated to the creation, promotion, and enjoyment that the story based roleplay can bring. If writing and creating wonderful worlds of imagination is your schtick. Then you're in the right place my friend.

Our offsite discord provides a hub for general discussion and chat with like minded individuals on: Writing, video games, sports, science, politics, and all manner of everything in between. Whichever suits your fancy and anything we do not have I am sure can be provided to you. The Lounge is primarily based in P2tM but we do welcome all NationStates users from the various sub-forums of the board or guests of the site who are curious about NationStates and its denizens. Do note that when joining the discord you may not see any channels, this is to prevent spammers and raiders, when given a role you will be able to see the several categories we have to offer.

Tell Us About Yourself: Favorite style of writing - I'm kind of eclectic. I like novels (Agatha Christie, John Lescroart, and Michael Connelly, currently). But I also like nonfiction. Something I can learn from - whether it's WWII, social history, theology, social commentary.

Favorite series - If you mean tv show? I'm a fan of Survivor, the reality tv show. If you mean comic book series, it used to be Spiderman before it got all crazy weird. If you mean RP series? Still have a place in my heart for Infinites, even though it died.

Favorite style of setting - Any. As long as my character can interact, I'm good.

Original works: I've made a few original contributions over the years. I ran a Time Travel RP some years back called "Repercussions." Did one not too long ago called "Delirium" which was a different kind of superhero story, set in a mental asylum where the heroes had gaping holes in their memories and due to medicines, powers were down to about 10% of what they would normally be. Meant to finish that one. Alas. Doing one now I created. More on that later.

However, don't expect me to be the most active (Which is Ironic, since I literally attempt to do everything and anything sometimes, so I might be even if I say that... A personal fault of mine, tbh)

Factbook Links: So, I have a few factbooks for the Realm of Hyrule that I'm really quite proud of, and I suppose I could link you to something that isn't by my main as well. Here goes:

• This is my Introductory Factbook. It also links to all other factbooks via image links (With exception to both the characters of Princess-Sovereign Zelda and Knight-General Alcalph, those link in my sig. instead)
• My most recent factbook for my nation, the Princedom, and Prince of the Zora. It is an attempt to write an informal autobiography piece to detail a character, instead of a normal biography.
• This one is like, my longest entry... The Life and cultures of the Princessdom, which is kinda a Demographics page, though details much, much more than that...
  
• Lastly, here's a different one... My most proud factbook for Tsarstvo Alyaski, the Political Parties of Tsarstvo Alyaski.

Activity Level: Okay, so this can be quite... Volatile. Usually, if I get invested into something (And I can get invested somewhat easily) I can reply by the day, or at the very least every other day... However, this often comes at the price of my own mental well-being, and thus I may burn out and be inactive at random... I will often try and let people know of these episodes as they happen.
Anything You Wish To Contribute? : Good question... Whilst I would rather make this a casual experience, I often am too selfless for my own good. So if someone asks me of something, chances are I'd do it, even if my mind screams for me not to LMAO.

With that prenote done with, I can say I'm pretty good at BBCode at this point, so if anyone needs help with that I can probably do something. Otherwise, I would call myself good at making Flags, Banners and maps, though to a lesser extent. I've also hosted my share of RP's and I would classify myself as an effortposter, so whilst I'm not good at... Well, DnD for example, I can point someone in the right direction in the creation of a Forumside RP, or other OP's and all of that...

Tell Us About Yourself: Okay, it's no secret... I am English, and I am on my way past the 10 to 19 year old mark. I will not reveal my location or anything, nor my face but... I mean, there you go? Otherwise, I very much prefer Fictional Writing to Non-Fictional writing, though I do enjoy the latter on occasion. In particular, just like my favorite genre I like writing that involves Magic, anything older than the 18th century and basically, anything that simply cannot be in the real world. I used to be a HUGE fan of AIDungeon, before that website went down the drain, and I created many an original scenario for it back in the day, along with stories as well. I want to write as an author, yet can never find the motivation to do it, and I have severe commitment issues... To be honest, The Realm of Hyrule has been my first project which I haven't given up on for longer than three months in recent memory, soooooooo...
Anyways, I used to be big into video games, and whilst I still like them I am limited in playing it due to my one console with like, three games and further... I adored Battlefield 1, Infinite Warfare's campaign flipping rocked! (Fight me) And Terraria and Minecraft are always fun. Yes, I have OP'd roleplays before, and also became Co-op in multiple as well, here are a few highlights:

• Aviean Exodus (Truly a shame it had to become extinct)
• Reformation from the Cataclysm (This one has a long story of why it died, but I did indeed host it)
• I also hosted more, but those are just two examples.

I like LOOKING at art, less so creating it. (unless it's flags or banners for NationStates, I love doing those) I'm a simple man, I like eating sweets (Or 'Candy' for those lads and lasses across the pond), chocolate etc. .Also, nothing beats a good Roast Dinner, Fish and Chips are bangin' etc. etc.
