You think, "well Galiantus, how do you know this is Chron's goal?". Well obviously the only way to take heat off the NPO is to throw out a conspiracy theory much more wild than what was proven about the NPO and hope it sticks. Think about what he's saying here: there is a conspiracy against all of gameplay, and that conspiracy leads the movement against the NPO. Why bring LoD into this? Because it paints all the GCRs as victims of the conspiracy, and is a desperate attempt to lure everyone else into trusting the NPO again.
