Well I've read the full Cixin Liu trilogy now, The Three Body Problem, The Dark Forest and Death's End, amazing books and I'd recommend them to anybody.

Funnily as I read them back to back I kind of viewed it all as one story and in that sense the overall trilogy is simply excellent. It's interesting that you can hold abstract understanding of physics and the universe and the possibilities of an infinite universe but a story capturing all of this into a narrative simply brings it to life.

Anyway.. yes, it has one of the most dramatic moments of all three books, the final ending sort of floats on though much as the universe does.. let's just say it ends some 18M years from now.
