I’m reading Left Wing Communism: An Infantile Disorder and The State and Revolution for the ironic Soviet memes knowledge and I’ve already read the Communist Manifesto and Capital: Volume One, so I’ve read enough books by Marx. Time for Lenin.

Well I've read the full Cixin Liu trilogy now, The Three Body Problem, The Dark Forest and Death's End, amazing books and I'd recommend them to anybody.

Is the last one as good as the first two?

Funnily as I read them back to back I kind of viewed it all as one story and in that sense the overall trilogy is simply excellent. It's interesting that you can hold abstract understanding of physics and the universe and the possibilities of an infinite universe but a story capturing all of this into a narrative simply brings it to life.

Anyway.. yes, it has one of the most dramatic moments of all three books, the final ending sort of floats on though much as the universe does.. let's just say it ends some 18M years from now.

Recently finished The Last by Hanna Jameson. Pretty solid read, disturbing at some parts but thoroughly enjoyed it. I can see it being adapted to a Netflix series.

Yes sir, I am terrible at speaking English; I sip my tea at the thought of you believing you are superior to me! Pardon me sir, but my grasp of the English language won the top rank in the ELS(English Learning Society).
