Communist-Strasserite Split





While the Strasserite faction of the Prussian Communist Party has opposed wealthy Jews but also other wealthy elites of every race and religion. According to their opinion this attack seems to be a false flag attack by far right fascist. However, the rest of the communist party is still in support of these action and still are not recognizing it as a hate crime. As such a major split has occurred and many of the strasserites have formed a new political party and are supporting the government's investigation. More evidence has came forward by cooperating strasserites to the police which seem to implicate members of the Far Right.

Prime Minister-Pope O'jibu has announced that recent talks with the Pavlovsk government have proven fruitful. The Eastern nation has provided our nation with $500,000,000 to fund the upcoming Mombasa Power Centralization Initiative. This ambitious project will see the shut down of all power stations around Mbale in favor of several large power stations in Northern Mombasa capable of producing 12.8 Gigawatts of power. Referendum taking place for vote of no confidence
Results expected to be tight.
Today the National Assembly approved the plea from the people for a public vote of no confidence to take place. A petition, which was started less than two months ago, has already picked up over three million signatures, warranting a national referendum. The majority of the signatories were members of the various right-wing political parties of Lasir that have been recently under siege by vicious political attack ads funded by the PSRL, which have openly stated that they have spent more than $33Mn on the broadcasts. The petitioners call for the end of such partisanship in politics and brands the attack on political freedom by the PSRL unconstitutional. These claims have allowed the petition to capture more moderate supporters, including even some PSRL members who are unhappy with their current leadership. The referendum will take place in three days on Friday, June 25, 1991, and the polls will be open for a week in order to allow the greatest amount of voters to cast their ballots. If the referendum achieves a basic majority a special election for all seats in the National Assembly will start, and until the election results are in all parties in the National Assembly will vote for an acting Premier to serve until the election. It seems that Lasir is always in a torrent of political revolution.

Conservative primary polls have closed and Senator Henry Bowman, the victim of the terrorist attack that rocked Madrid, has secured the parties nomination gaining 51.1% of the vote. Governor Camilo made a speech in his district vowing to still represent the nation in any way possible. With Primaries closed the conservative , liberal, and independent candidates have chose there running mates.

Senator Henry Bowman chose Senator Juan Esteban Tafalla. Senator Tafalla has been in the Senate since he was 28 years old, he is now 70. Many have called him the most conservative man in the nation.
In a shocking move President Gaona chose Secretary of State Eliza Cortez to become his VP. The move is expected to boost his poll number taking it her ratings have stayed high with Alicians her whole career.
The independent candidate, Dr.Alcabu, chose General Victor Abasto. Abasto has served the the Alician army since he was 17 years old. He is now 67.

With war in South America, Alician citizens in the territory of Cordoba have began to worry what could be next. In response Governor Espina removed all troops from Barnetia. President Gaona up'd military presence on the islands. Governor Espina placed the Cordoba naval base on high alert to monitor naval and air traffic around the island.
President Gaona released a statement denouncing the government of Santa Rosa for using gas in warfare against Barnetia calling the act "a crime against humanity." Santa Rosa denied any use of such gas. Gaona has requested a closed door meeting with the Santa Rosan president.

The royal palace finally released news of the Queen Mother stating her health was failing and she could pass at any time. Queen Mary took questions later on in the day stating she attempted to get permission to bury her mother back in Occitania with no response. The Queen publicly asked Occitanian officials to contact the palace to talk about "My mothers health and on going conflicts in Europe." Front gates of the Royal Palace have been flooded with flowers and gifts for the Royal Family.

A new treaty was signed between the Empire of Landersvich and New Prussia during a routine diplomatic visit. New Prussia, since the end of the world wars, has been struggling to regain its foothold in the modern economy - Landersvich and the Kaiser want to see the young nation succeed, especially due to their German heritage. The agreement allows for free trade, intellectual property rights, grants for Prussians to go to university in Landersvich, and it will give New Prussia access to Landersvichian oil at fair prices.

The Multi-National megabank, Handel, Lutz & Roechmeyer, is now entering New Prussia - the managing partner, Otto Handel, mentioned in a speech that he will be looking to develop the Pharmaceutical industry in New Prussia. Handel, with much optimism, will be building the medical companies alongside Prussian businessmen in exchange for partial ownership and cheaper medication for Landersvich. HLR will also be creating special small business grants for Prussian owned companies to apply for.

Gaulbert Erbauer, the construction company will be opening in New Prussia as part of the treaty - they will be developing the road systems and urban infrastructure of New Prussia and a reduced cost. Laitz Waffen, the small arms manufacturer, renowned for the production of Landersvichian military weapons, will be building two plants in New Prussia, the lower cost of labor in the nation will allow for the production of more advanced weapons and research into better equipment. The two plants will bring 10,000 jobs to the Prussian economy.

The New Prussian currency will be pegged to the Landersvichian Mark in order to mitigate currency risk; the central bank of Landervich will manage the monetary policy of both nations to further decrease the economic instability of New Prussia. New Prussia, as per the treaty, will also give Landersvich 3 tons of gold.

The two nations have also, as a part of the treaty, signed a defensive agreement. A standard defensive alliance was signed, as well as the construction of a Landersvichian base in New Prussia - which will house 1,000 men and women. Landersvhich will help train the Prussian armed forces; The Prussian government will have access to cheaper Landersvichian weapons due to the 2 factories being built in New Prussia. Lastly, the two nations will allow access to their ports and facilities to make military maneuvers and trade easier.

Talks between the Lasirian Committee of Commerce and Otto Handel, the managing partner of Handel, Lutz & Roechmeyer, have started about possible foreign investment opportunities in Lasir. Lasir's industry and infrastructure is woefully unequipped to deal with modern manufacturing fields like technology and advanced finished products like cars. The majority of Lasirian people are uneducated and illiterate, but with the governments recent literacy programs and the opening of a few dozen schools across Lasir as a foreign aid investment from the United Pacific States, this is rising. As a more educated populace saturates the Lasirian markets more advanced industries have started to emerge. Amongst these is the pharmaceutical industry, which has been stated as one of the top industries for potential growth by the Committee of Commerce. Lasir's jungle is home to hundreds if not thousands of unique species of plants and animals, with likely more undiscovered. Access to the exotic ingredients our jungles offer would allow for a variety of drug testing and possible new types of cures. The legalization of opium ten months ago also allows for the needed infrastructure for a opium based pharmaceutical industry. Jewish Murders Killer is Found and Update Actress





After a lengthily investigation and cooperation with the Strasserites the killer has been found. After long talks between Lasirian officials, Otto Handel, and the Landersvichian government, a deal has been made! Handel, Lutz & Roechmeyer has entered Lasir and will be the only financial services bank allowed in the state! HLR will be investing in Lasirian oil businesses, pharmaceuticals, and the infrastructure of the state. In exchange, Herr Handel has asked for 5% of Lasir's oil and, of course, minority ownership of the businesses in development. The Landersvichian construction company, Gaulbert Erbauer, will be heading all of the construction projects Handel will be developing. Lasir has also accepted a defensive alliance and is allowing the construction of a military base that will house 1,000 Landersvichains in Lasir.

As of the signing of this deal, HLR now holds over 100 billion dollars of oil alone - the company itself is worth more than 200 billion dollars!

Budget Signed

The Landersvichian budget has been signed this morning. Military spending will increase to 19.9 billion dollars, twice the current amount. The military will take on an extra 110,000 personal - which is still an increase of over 13,000 dollars per service member. This will allow for the same level of training - keeping them at one of the highest levels on the planet; most people consider them to be elite already. The extra money will improve the equipment of the military, allowing for Landersvich to employ some of the most powerful weapons available.

The new budget plan still has 60% of the budget to spend on other projects. 10% of GDP will be spent on education and social services, 4% will be spent on infrastructure; which will include the building of better roads, railways, and airports. The remaining budget, 10% of GDP, will be used to foster economic growth in Landersvich. As a breakdown, the budget is 40% of GDP, 16% is military, 10% is education and social services, 4% on infrastructure, and 10% on economic development. The plan is considered to be amazing by many of the nations leading economists.

Herr Handel, in a T.V. interview yesterday said when asked about his current success, "I did not do this by myself, I have my partners, my employees, my clients, and of course, my country to thank." He was asked where he sees the company at in the coming months. "As I am sure you know, we have made some very good deals. We own about 100 billion dollars worth of oil alone, we are the only bank in Sub Saharan Africa and Lasir, we are currently building up and investing in many of the worlds most promising nations. I have my eye on any deal that I think is a good deal." Handel, who owns 60% of HLR, was then asked how much he loved his country - here is what he said, "How much do I love my country? I can't put that into words..... The North of England program for development has been a huge success. The government is praising the efforts of Lancaster Industries in the development of the Northern sector. Commercial and heavy industry has greatly increased within the Northern region of England, this economic stimulus is sure to show a large increase in industrial growth. The governments initiative to create the Commonwealth Economic League has also greatly increased industrial manufacturing in the North, with the Negative Tariff for raw materials and resources helping Lancaster Industries and other manufacturers to process the goods.

Furthermore, the increased FDI coming from the Britannia and its companies has largely increased Britannia’s globalization efforts into previous Commonwealth states. The increasing integration of Commonwealth states economies is increasing everyday with more and more exports from the Commonwealth states entering Britannia making Britannia a big purchaser for Commonwealth products. Commonwealth states are becoming more and more reliant on Britannia for their export potential.

With BP in the new Mbale Oil project the Britannia government is hoping for an increase of oil production and lower fuel prices. In doing so the government is trying to increase economic growth through increased activity and the reduction of everyday business and personal costs going to fuel. The project is to see an initial 700Mn barrel production increase enough to make a dent in the fuel and oil prices in domestic Britannia. Moreover, BP projects in Perth with building Gas and Oil pipelines is greatly increasing the companies profits due to the heavy use of the pipelines within such a time where investors are trying to increase natural Gas and oil production and quickly get the resource to the consumer.

With the development of Northern England and the expansion to the Liverpool which is now the second biggest trading port within Britannia, the Irish Sea is becoming richer and richer. As the Sea is exclusively controlled by Britannia with no contesters, Britannia is sure to benefit with increased trade within the area which is sure to create economic opportunities and aid develop many other sectors within the North of England. Yesterday, the Army finally seized Guatemala City. After three attempts, the valuable position was finally seized with minimal casualties. The army further pushed to Jutiapa and the line is being held there. Another major push will be made into San Salvador once more land assets can arrive at the front. Military bombings, as well as care packages, will occur at San Salvador and San Pedro Sula. A sizeable amount of citizens have defected to Toluca and are aiding the invasion progress quite well. These efforts will continue and perhaps increase. The budget is stable. The war is costing far less than expected, thanks to a sheer lack of Barnetian defence. The deal will put HLR in North America as the largest financial services bank in the market. HLR will be investing money into the Oil business of Texas as well as developing a chemical industry in the nation. The massive amount of oil, natural resources, and waterways can prove very beneficial - hopefully thrusting the new chemical project into a global position. The Empire of Landersvich will be opening one of Texas's first chemical plants in Europe - which will be adding thousands of well-paid jobs. Landersvich will also allow the free flow of Texan agricultural products into the nation without tariffs and non-tariff barriers. HLR will be holding a minority stake in each of the companies it invests in and will also be receiving 5% ownership of Texan oil.

The Texan government has agreed to allow Landersvich to open a military base in the nation; It will be used to help train Texan troops and will further expand Landersvichian military knowledge and experience.

Handel, Lutz & Roechmeyer has been growing at a tremendous rate - their tactics of helping develop economies in exchange for ownership of resources which can be leveraged for capital has economists baffled by its success. Pavlovsk hosts week of meetings with Afghani leadership​





Following an invitation from General-Secretary Gorbachad to Afghani PM Abdullah Abdullah to meet and discuss the possibility of growing relations, a Pavlovski delegation of various committee leaders and members has met with a similar delegation from the Afghan Republic in Ashgabat for a week of meetings and discussion. The main meetings are set to discuss opening and improving economic relations between Pavlovsk and the Afghan Republic and development of infrastructure in central/southwest Asia.

General-Secretary Gorbachad and Prime Minister Abdullah Abdullah are set to meet at the Ashgabat Library of Justice (pictured right) on July 28th to discuss the results of the meetings.

The Heroism of Emmanuel Rivera

Luckily, these new Divisions have been quickly moved into Barnetia’s formal army thanks to the command of Emmanuel Rivera. Rivera bravely fought with Barnetia in the great upheaval that brought United Brands™ to power, and is now helping head our many conscripted divisions to defend the motherland. His heroism knows no bounds, such as when he bravely marched on Tolucan invaders, pushing them into their makeshift camps. Additionally, our morale has increased with him at the helm, further proving the competence of United Brands™ when compared to the old regime. For all this and more, General Rivera, we salute you. Events Begin Adding Up



Several Victims of A Vicious Shark Attack



With the recent devaluation of the international oil market, two of several major Yahelian exporters have begun holding back supplies from the market instead of instantly selling. One of these exporters is Brahmin CO, ran by Osama Bin Brahmin. When questioned about his actions he replied "When oil prices rise it is only natural for us exporters to flood the market as much as possible. In return comes the drop in prices. Now that prices are dropping we need to build back up our surplus that has been drained over the last few years. This same exact cycle repeats its self every few years and there is absolutely nothing to fret about. I can assure that my competitors will be building up reserves as well given a month, tops."

There has been a sharp increase in fatal shark attacks in the Gulf of Aden in the last three months. Reports have stated that it seems tiger sharks living in the area have become bolder and have begun attacking humans more often. Marine biologist Raul Zanzibar has stated that this is due to the increase in Yahelian fishing boats, and overfishing, resulting in less food for the sharks, and in turn causing them to attack humans for food. This is just suspected to be companies who lost the auction attempting to secure a name similar to that in which they intended.

With many new refugees from war, immigrants from unfortunate nations, and a rising birth rate, housing has begun to become a problem. Over the last 7 years, the average housing price has nearly doubled. This has resulted in shoddy shacks and unsafe civilian made building cropping up over the nation. Last week a family of 5 ended up dead when a support beam made of rotted wood snapped, causing the entire house to cave in on the family, leaving no survivors. The plan that has been released to the public is that low and mid-income houses will be intertwined in order to reduce the amounts of large slums developing. They have also guaranteed that there still will be definable low and mid-income areas, as their plan is still under testing.

As tobacco sweeps the nation and more and more citizens get hooked on the smoothness of a rich camel, activists have begun voicing their opinions in the matter. Mother and anti-tobacco activist Beneneni had this to say to reporters: "My son came home from high school with a carton of camels hacking his lungs out. We took him to a clinic to get him checked out and as it turned out, through a year of smoking cigarettes, my 15-year-old son had developed lung cancer. We simply didn't have the money to treat him, so we had to resort to begging friends and family for the funds."
This story caused for the heads of both the ministry of health and commercial to come together and issue change. A smoking age of 15 years old has been introduced, any child caught smoking will have their supply taken, and sentenced to 78 hours of community service. In addition to this, all cartons and packets of cigarets are required by law to list off the dangers of smoking in clear and easily read writing.

Deadly tsunami kills 4,000; hundreds of thousands more displaced.
Government seems unable to respond; millions of angry peasants swarm the capital.

Yesterday, at 10:30 P.M., a tsunami struck the coastal city of Đà Nẵng killing 4,000, injuring tens of thousands of others, as well as displacing 300,000 people at the time of this report. Without anywhere to go, the people have looked to the government for support, yet they've been catatonic. Completely caught off guard by this disaster, both the Federal Council and the National Assembly seem unable to do anything. In response, millions of angry protesters have joined the victims of the tragedy in marching on the capital. Taking up the majority of the city, and bringing intercity transport to all but deadlock, the citizens have refused to leave until the government sends a representative to help resolve the crisis along with the people. Forty-one year old Ngô Kim Hòa, mother of three, lost her husband and oldest daughter in the tsunami. Clutching her children closely, tears streaking down her face, she had this to say:

The government is supposed to be here to protect us when travesties like this happen. No one here thinks that the government should've been able to prevent this disaster, but they should've been able to prevent the persistent sorrow it caused. Their inaction allowed my daughter and husband to die. It's time the people had the power returned to them, in their own regions and districts. Some bureaucrat in Bangkok is never going to understand what life is like some 1200 kilometers from the Capital.

Multiple revolutionaries have called for the end of all government as we know it, and have taken the march as an opportunity to spread their ideals. Common amongst the farmers and peasants that make up the majority of Lasir's population, the uber-libertarian rhetoric calls for the end of a unitary republic and the establishment of a confederacy of allied states, who decide their own all and keep their own sovereignty, but fight for the mutual benefit and existence of each other. The continuing expansion in New Prussia, Lasir, Texas, and the continent of Africa are expected to add at least another 200 billion to the companies value within the next five years. Otto Handel, the banks managing partner, issued a statement last night - here is what he said, "I do not worry about the Landersvichian economy the same way I fear for those in the European Council and those in the Americas. Thankfully, the Landersvichain economy is based on developing the third world - which as of late are fairing a lot better and are expected to continue to grow." Increased Taxes and Military Budget

Chairman Huang Xiaoming and the Politburo have announced a 2% tax increase, and 3% increase to the military budget in the nation, while most of the taxes is to go to funding a larger military any remaining funds will be spent paying off the nations infrastructure depts.

Most of the money is expected to go to the Navy to buy additional destroyers and frigates and to train and retain the men needed to operate them, but the army has announced plans to increase manpower by as much as 200,000 personnel.

While not specifically stated it is assumed money will be used from this to man and operate the Red Sea naval base as well.
