Absolutely. Taking out high ranking members of the Syndicate totally can be done. To me it would be interesting what your motivation is, so I could build the story around that. The successful kidnapping and accidental killing of a member of the royal family (great cousin of the third degree of the King's postilion) or their growing influence in Allanea could be good starting points.

My nation is strongly against human trafficking. And so I was thinking telling a story of some Allanean officials as they try to damage a human trafficking organization in the midst of an ongoing conflict.

The Allaneans pursue a policy which they euphemistically refer to as "cost imposition", where in cases where they cannot disrupt or destroy a human trafficking group, they at least try and stab at it to make its life more difficult.

Very good! Sounds great. If you work on your own your operatives will probably have the biggest support among the moralist population in 5. If you approach the de-facto government you will be issued warrants and badges and can enlist the help of local police and national guard. You will be employed as government sanctioned death squad. Very unofficial but still supported. Work in the port cities is much more difficult as crime is king there. I like your ideas a lot. This plot has a lot of potential.

I think you'd fit in especially with Oheton in the RP. Mind you, what I imagine consists of vikings driving APC's and bombing around in fighter jets would probably be quite fun even if it wasn't thematicly linked! Will have to wait for the OP of course....

From the looks of it, the government is about to collapse completely, which would I imagine lead to the various factions floundering around and occasionally forming alliances of interest to grab as much power as possible.

Of course. The government a few posts back sent out a decree stating all irregular units must report to National Guard headquarters. The officer who told the Sakala Syndicate this news has been kidnapped and will be sent back to their commanders. The Sakala Syndicate doesn't want to give up its guns or power in the areas it controls.

The question of alliances is a good one. Sure, all the Daimyos want to become Shogun. Well not the royalists. They want to become Tenno. But you know what I mean.

Government now more or less controls Royalists, Stateists and Moralists. Oligarchs have influence on Government, Renegades and Syndicate. Renegades are occasionally working with the Syndicate and the Jomsvikinar. But all alliances are unstable and most combinations are thinkable.

Context? I am open to the idea sorta but I am wondering how it would fit in with the setting.

Someone with telekenisis in itself probably wouldn't be too OP as such, after all guns fire long distances. I just struggle to see how to make it fit in a MT very early PMT setting. Of course it is also very much up to not me, but the OP ultimately and of course other players.

No it is a good question. Phone, telegramm, letter. Just pick a means and do like the others did to concact their favorite fraction. You could also have a hand full of agents already on the ground trying to make contact.

Right now the RP is MT and free of magic. If you don't use it as an overpowered weapon but to get your story done I think it can be done. However I would like to hear the others about that. If they agree than you are free to go. If not you have do do without magic.

A few clarifications. There are two workable ports to land ships. Rotzechko and Pibtsy. And there is only one airport left in Posteastan. Leozina. It is currently guarded by the National Guard. There is no military occupation by Allanea. However, the special operatives on the airport are, for the moment, still there. And they are more than capable to deal with the other armed formations close by. Allanea's planes also take up some space. Landing more civilian planes with government leaning will not be a problem but landing in support of other groups seems impractical at the moment. In my opinion.

Also, I don't support the use of telekinesis. I don't really see how moving things remotely would be beneficial for the story.
