I can't send a large volunteer force (it'll be growing by the day, don't worry!) but probably something around a company or two size.

I'd say use my actual nation but since we're sticking with IRL locations I can't just drop an island in the ocean so I have to take a pre-existing island. Which thinking about it now, can I instead snag both islands of New Zealand instead?

Just look up any world map, Karelia is the sliver of land that is closest to Alaska in the north pacific. Thats about as fare as Kyavani influence goes. Its also a place near finland, I could be naming it wrong to so its either Karelia or Siberia.

Hello. I'm an FT nation, so am I allowed to have only have a small amount of equipment and troops, but keep my tech? (None of the clone printers, grey goos or anything too OP. Just around 2050s equipment. I could even be from space if you really wanted me to. I am a human nation though.)

We're basically a meld of all three faction ideologies, so I think we'd end up more as a wildcard.
