Protests Across The Black Party Halted With Artillery

The National Post: Weather Alert; Light snowfall expected to disrupt traffic and slow roadways in the upcoming weekend. Highways may be muddy and land may be bogged. Temperature consistently dropping . . . In other news, rioting has ceased in the capital, as Security Police regain control . . . The Black Party strengthens their bond with Madagasikyara . . . Staff Officer Veissa Ludavin is being accused of promiscuity charges . . .

Security Police of The Black Party

Unorganized and illegal protests have broken out across The Black Party in the previous weeks leading u.p to Incident 32; Incident 32 being the designation of when the Security Police of The Black Party authorized the use of Mortar Strikes to disperse protesters within the national borders.

Demonstrators claimed to have gathered to protest the gradual restriction of freedoms being implemented by the Federal Legislative Council over the course of the decade, including increased restrictions to free press, use of tobacco, and an outright banning of demonstrations hosted by the Center State Vice political faction, although the latter seemed to only encourage the opposite effect.

Protests demonstrations have been ongoing since last August, despite being declared illegal by the Security Police in December. Unrelenting demonstrations through through the Christmas season till today, without pause, has paralyzed The Black Party economically, and overworked State Security have stressed their manpower through the limits, with Policemen working holidays at doubled hours to quell protesters.

The breaking point came when State Security authorized the use of Mortar and Artillery strikes within their own national borders to disperse the demonstrators.

The use of miitary-grade weaponry by State Security was unexpected. It was common knowledge that the Security Police held military-grade weaponry, but up until this point, Security Police have primarily used non-lethal means of coercing demonstrators.

When the first Mortar strikes hit, the first instinct of the demonstrators was outright rebellion, but after consistent shelling of their own cities, followed by armed intervention and self-occupation, the Security Police managed to quell any armed insurgency. Active rebellion only lasted for less then a day, before militarized policemen retook lost cities in droves.

Security Police retake cities lost in the day-long uprising with military-grade weapons and armour, putting a halt to the semi-year long demonstrations.

All illegal protests, strikes, and armed insurgency have ceased after three days of constant shelling, and the Security Police of The Black Party have taken pride in restoring law and order within their borders, but to say that the rebellious instinct has completely died within The Black Party is nothing short of nonsensical, as the aura of an uprising continues to grow.

The Kingdom of Nova Corina

The Kingdom of Nova Corina shares its condolences to those killed on either side. While the Kingdom supports basic human freedoms such as the freedom of press, the freedom of speech, and the freedom of assembly, it denounces the ideology of the Center State Vice party.

Nova Corina declares that unless the situation significantly changes, it will not send in Nova Corinan troops. Secretary of War Henry Darnell states that, "We will not send Nova Corinan boys to die for an authoritarian regime or an anarcho-syndicalist rebel group." However, Nova Corina does express interest to be a mediator in the conflict, and perhaps even host peace negotiations in Corrin City, if they are approached by both sides of the conflict.

A group of protesters have fled into the Ukraniumstan embassy to hide from the Secret Police. Due to the sheer amount, the embassy has only allowed a group of 200 protestors to hide in the embassy. The MP's have shut the doors

As the MP's begin to round up the protesters and send them to the front doors, and unlocked them. The protesters understood what was happening, and, enraged, attacked the 15 or so MP's. The soldiers had weapons, but the sheer amount of protestors quickly overwhelmed them.

By the time the secret police made their way inside the embassy, the MP's and most of the staff were either all dead or beaten badly. Only the ambassador, a few staff and his body guards were left inside the panic room.

30 Agents of the Newark Aristocracy are sent into TBP through the northern border.

The Jasonville Expeditionary Force of 10,000 is helping the Black Party fight the unobeying rioters. The Jasonville troops land on the Northern Coast of the Black Party and advance to meet up with the Partanzi troops. Commander Albert is leading the small force of 10,000, with 15 small artillery cannons being towed along.

The Security Police, operating abroad, maintained their professionalism through tired faces and heavy eyes from sleepless nights. They would assist Ukraniumstan Military Police in receiving known refugees from The Black Party who have tried to head abroad, now know as criminals. Around 200 or so refugees are re-captured and interned, while a few dozen were killed on the way "home".

30 Agents of the Newark Aristocracy are sent into TBP through the northern border.

Due to the small number of agents sent, all 30 slip by Partizani Customs and Immigration Police. The group, although small and seemingly insignificant, are left undetected by Partizani authorities.

Due to the incidents at the embassy, the members of the Verhovnaya Rada have decided that they will send limited military support to help supress riots and spread pro-Partizani sentiment amongst the people.

Security Police Lieutenant Fennos tipped his field cap at Commander Albert of the Jasonville Expeditionary Force.

"Albeit in darker times, I suppose. Our policemen are tired, operating on little sleep, and there's only so much a good meal can do."

He'd glance around before leaning in closer.

"You know how worthless The Black Party's regular army is. It's all down to us. Your country's support in our time of need is dearly appreciated."

Regarding the public statement released by the Secretary of War, Henry Darnell, of The Kingdom of N. Corina, We at The State Security Office are nothing short of appalled by the indifference shown by such. The mere thought of Sir Darnell expecting us to openly negotiate with criminals is a capitulation of Partizani law and order; our national pride.

We do not negotiate with criminals; we do not negotiate with terrorists.

If Sir Darnell, or representative of The Kingdom of Nova Corina wishes to take action where action is needed and uphold law and order alongside us, we will always be open for such. However, to suggest we sacrifice our national values and honour to please some petty troublemakers is nothing short of a diplomatic insult.

(OOC: Sorry, but you can't claim a merger of all insurgent groups in TBP, because you're not the only one aligned with the Interventionists. For example, the United Kingdom of Hypron might go about their insurgency in a different path then yours, and unless other Interventionists allow for such a merger, you can only control the Newark Intervention Force within TBP)

(Of course you can build your own insurgency over time, but do note the bigger your insurgency grows, the less covert it becomes. Up until now, you've remained completely undetected by Black Party Police.)

After arriving, the 20,000 soldiers begin guarding various fuel depots and supply routes, so that other coalition forces can be used to fight the insurgencyml. The man in charge is Major General Pavel

The Spetsnaz are to work with the secret police to root out insurgents and to help maintain security several key cities.

"So far, that's the best we got if another rebellion pops up. Secret Police uncovered some specially trained insurgents trying to get in to the nation, so we've got a heads up some foreign countries might be training rebels in our home field."

He'd make a finger-gun gesture and point it at a city on the map.

"We can't afford to let anything like that grow out of hand. But we couldn't trace the nationalities back. So for now, we're stuck with brute force as the only option."

He'd mouth a "bang" noise, and recoil his gesture.

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that."

The Spetsnaz had finally arrived in the cities. Their commander, Major Brusilov, asks the Black Party high command, "Should my men begin sweeping for insurgent strongholds in and around the cities? Or do you want us somewhere else?

"Alright.", Commander Albert said,"ALRIGHT TROOPS, GET TO THE DEFENSES AND PLACE THE CANNONS UP ON THE HILL! Alright, we'll take it from hear, and there are some meal packs unloading still. For God!"

The Spetsnaz had finally arrived in the cities. Their commander, Major Brusilov, asks the Black Party high command, "Should my men begin sweeping for insurgent strongholds in and around the cities? Or do you want us somewhere else?

Lieutenant Fennos would give a casual, outright lazy salute to Major Brusilov.

"Formal greetings, Major Brusilov. We thank you for your support in our times of need. Regarding troop placements, we're keeping all forces at base, and on guard for now. We're going to start off on the defensive."

Lieutenant Fennos would glance at Commander Albert of the Jasonville Expeditionary Force.

"As Commander Albert and I were discussing, it would be best to withhold our desires to go on the offensive until more intel is gained. There are just too many variables as of yet."

[Newark Aristocracy]

"Alright.", Commander Albert said,"ALRIGHT TROOPS, GET TO THE DEFENSES AND PLACE THE CANNONS UP ON THE HILL! Alright, we'll take it from hear, and there are some meal packs unloading still. For God!"

The majority of The Black Party's battle-hardened Security Police retire to the barracks, leaving only a few dozen to link up with Jasonvilles Expeditionary Force under the Commander Albert.

Commander Albert looks over at the distance seeing some movement. He raidioed to Lieutenant Fennos that there was some suspiciouse movements far away, and requested for at least a few soldiers to help guarding.

A battle group of 750 soldiers is waiting back at base, ready to deploy at any moment. The rest are setting up camp at the base. They hear the report over the radio, and prepare to move out
