Im generally on the side of it going either way. Im not optimistic enough to not believe a "war" wont happen, but how big a scale a war will be depends on who jumps into it. I do agree the war should be naturally gotten to, but if nations wish to jump start and go for the fruit, I at least wont stop their unprepared moves. Though I would partially disagree how the factions are made and where most of the people sit. Even if im incorrect, and for some reason a non-binding UN deal wishes to invade because they decide to after some others do, I hold differing perspectives who's more adept and how many are on each side (the people who've voiced here aren't the total amount willing to defend New Edom, most of SACTO and all of Imperion is obligated to after all - Imperion already has a fleet composed on paper to dispatch after all). Go to the halls of the WA and invite them to invade with a coalition if you wish, it makes no difference to Imperion. We have no qualms with adding more bodies to the pile; we were very serious about the threats we made, after all. But just be aware that we see war for what it truly is - the realities of war and the hidden motives behind them. If you think invading a country is as righteous an act to do in order to "freeing the gays", just remember you will probably end up killing more civilians in the crossfire than saving people; invaders bring with them collateral damage and war, no one is safe on a battlefield. War is nasty, and if you wage it on a land, people and their properties are targeted regardless if intentional or not - thousands or millions of dead, billions of NSD in damage. Imperion, in the face of harming our people, have no qualms with harming yours in return. You will find we show little mercy to enemies who swipe at us, whether they're holding a rifle or not, or if they live on a military base, or in some fancy skyscrapers.
That all said, Imperion at this stage doesn't believe war is going to happen. The fact we only sent two additional regiments of Legionnaires, even if we handed out war ranks, shows we're just showing precaution. If we believed war was close at hand, we would have already organized war plans and began enacting their early implementation. Diplomacy wise, we as an organization probably wont take part in such endeavors. There's nothing for us to negotiate here, and even if there were, we believe member nations have the right to deal with their own affairs before we should get involved (without an invitation, of course). So if New Edom did invite us to one of these meetings, our staff would sit mostly quiet and observe; if your prompt them for a statement, you're probably bound to not like what we have to say regardless, so we wouldn't mince words. But at the end of the day, if you wish to avoid war with Imperion, we made it clear how to do so. Outside that, we really have no stakes here since our concerns are New Edom's security, not if they repress gays or not.
