The National and Royal News Registry of Folaisia is the country's official news registry collecting stories and articles from diverse news sources from all over. It was founded on September 18, 1833 to collect articles that have had a profound effect on the citizens of the nation, at first, but as times changed, it began to accept any kind of news out there that is at least readable to all of its readers.

DIPS Research Team to Design a New Computer Architecture

You may think that what we have for computers is good enough. We have all these fancy-ass gadgets that are virtually as thin as a wee stack of paper, that let you simply touch its screen to type and select, and even store a whole PC into one monitor. To those who think that, prepare to be proven wrong.

A research team lead by Dr. Iudicael Penhaligon, M.Sc. and Edmund MacGillivray, Ph.D. from DIPS is currently paving the way and means for designing and testing a new computer architecture that would potentially revolutionize the way computers would run. Although it only touches upon personal computers, it is guaranteed to open a new level of computing that can change the way people would see and use computers of every kind every day. Not only is this result presented, but it'll also provide special honors and awards towards those that have contributed to the project, including the renowned Milfrederick Prize.

The project is expected to finish within 3-5 years. We Dunkeldians wish the best of luck for them to get what they want, and use their brain power to the ultimate level.

Woman Goes on a Roman Candle Rampage in Benabreck

Image
Taken by and with courtesy from PictoWire user @feistylassy412

In the intersection of Auchgour Boulevard and Polson Street during the early hours of the night, a woman strolled through and fired upon several people, cars and stores using a roman candle. Although no one was completely harmed, the incident has caused a notable amount of perturbation on residents and passers-by altogether.

At 9:40 PM (EFST), the mentioned woman by the name of Bethia MacNeish ignited the candle and first fired upon a couple sitting in a bench near a park. Then, she moved on targeting vehicles stopping at a red light on Polson Street and then on the people and shops walking and standing adjacent, respectively. Subsequently, she fired most of the projectiles at the Randall's convenience store, before firing what's left at the incoming crowd and cars coming in or out of the Boulevard, before strolling away at a fast pace to her home.

Affected persons have made their notifications to the Benabreck Station second after witnessing the woman's firework rampage. Soon after, MacNeish was arrested at her home at 10:21 PM and is currently under interrogation and incarceration for three days.

Meth Lab Explodes in the Suburbs of Inverdarlochan

Image
Aftermath of the Explosion

At approximately 10:37 in the morning, the ambience of the northern part of Inverdarlochan's suburban area was affected by an explosion that rocked its nearby residences.

The epicenter of this incident occurred at a home of an individual named Ronald MacFadden, aged 35, of whom escaped with third-degree burns. After much investigation from police and fire departments, it was determined that an accidental ignition in volatile and hazardous chemicals was the primary cause. With much further inquiry from the then-occupants from the home, it was now discovered that they were used in a meth lab by Ronald and an assistant named Fingal MacGregor, aged 32 and inflicted with the same type of injuries. Fortunately, no other neighbors were injured as severely as the aforementioned two, even from the flying debris.

"I'm sorry to cause such a derangement to them," apologized Final on a hospital bed, "I never meant to do that."

Ronald has refused to comment further on this incident.

After their wounds have been treated, they are to serve one year in the Inverdarlochan City Prison for illegal drug production.

Toussaint and MacAlpine Families to Host Large Town Party on Saturday

In an extraordinary initiative, the two agricultural families who have shared a common history of producing the greatest and bloodiest feud in Folaisian history are planning to host a party in the town center commemorating the 135th Anniversary of their amends of peace. Preparations had begun since Sunday of this week.

"It'll be one huge bonnie party, and our family is committed making it so with the Toussaints," said Martin MacAlpine, "People need to be aware of this part of history and learn from it. They can have fun, yes, but they must a good knowledge about it, so it can be used to prevent any more bloodshed like what happened from happening."

"We're hoping that this party will be worth it to not only to us and the MacAlpines, but to the people of this town," added Gérard Toussaint in English, then French, "Happiness is what will prevail over tragedy and despair when we have the guts and heart to forgive one another."

High hopes have spread throughout the town about the event, and people are expecting to get the most out of it when it commences.

Tensions Rise in the Central Eukataan Region: 35 Dead, 90 Wounded in Gunfight

Image
Kwatemalijan police in Nieuwgein in pursuit of perpetrators

Violence has always occurred in the Central Eukataan Region, whether major or minor in scale. This disputed area shared by both Kwatemalija and Apelkirk has seen a fluctuating rate of crime, but recently, it has continued to increase with nationalism and unremitting vendettas adding salt to the historical wound. Today, this terrorizing incident has just stooped criminal activity on a higher level.

In the town of Nieuwgein, there was a heated gunfight between an Apelkirker nationalist group named the Royal Central Eukataan Liberation Front and Kwatemalijan citizens. Starting at 1:30 AM, the gun battle lasted for about three hours. 35 have been declared dead on site or in hospital and 90 were wounded, according to the official reports of the Kwatemalijan Police Department in the town that were released over a day ago.

Governments from both Kwatemalija and Apelkirk have condemned the violence that occurred, which included personal statements from President Miyaguchi and Prince Boudewijn II. In light of this violent tragedy, the Apelkirker government insisted that talks should occur as to the increasingly dire situation in the Region, with strong endorsement originating from the Prince. The agenda remains under question, though it is confirmed from a majority of Kwatemalijan news sources that its government, under in the insistence of Miyaguchi, has agreed to partake in the forthcoming discussion. The national government will be keeping a close watch on the direction and agenda for the bi-national deliberation, and the first step has already been undertaken with Ambassadors to Kwatemalija and Apelkirk Archie Sutherland and Lucrèce Dieulafoy, respectively, being sent down south (see article: Ambassadors to Apelkirk and Kwatemalija to Initiate Talks with the Princely Government in Aftermath of the Incident).

Royal Delegation Visiting Istoyugoslavia to Commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Adriatic War's End

Image
Royal One taking off from Iòsaph MacNiallghuis International Airport

As a sign and display of goodwill and cordialness, His Majesty King Diarmid IV has organized a delegation that will be visiting Banja Luka in Bosnia (a constituent republic in the Federation of Istoyugoslavia) to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the end of the Adriatic War. This delegation is comprised of as follows:

  • His Majesty The King
  • Her Majesty Queen Cairistìne MacCrìsdein
  • Prime Minister Elspeth Fiona MacCormick
  • Steven MacLennan, Ambassador to Istoyugoslavia
  • Charlotte Ferguson, Ambassador to Greater Serbia
  • General Dominic Leon Campbell, Commander of the Folaisian Forces in the Balkans
  • Timothée Subercaseaux, Leader of the Bennet-Anstruther Relief Task Force During the War
  • Griselda MacIntyre, Assistant Leader of the Relief Task Force
  • Ariella McArthur, Author, Former Soldier in the Royal Folaisian Armed Forces

The king's airliner, Royal One, has departed from Iòsaph MacNiallghuis International Airport near New Glasgow this afternoon.

Folaisia had been directly involved in the conflict with support going towards Istoyugoslavia. Since the end of the war, relations among this nation, Istoyugoslavia and Greater Serbia have been reconstructed. Hopefully, from this commemoration, this country and other parts of the world won't have to be at war again.

"Crowface" Killer Takes 31 in Spree Shooting

Image
Dunkeld Police at the Home of Peadar MacUrardaigh

In the Coldarroch Borough, three wounded individuals have been carried out of a home of another deceased victim, Peadar MacUrardaigh. These three were friends. When they were interviewed in the Flynn Buchanan Hospital after operations were carried out, they mentioned that the gunman was Francis MacLennan, dressed as the iconic 90s movie character Crowface.

This recent victim marks the 31st life taken in what is to be the largest spree killing to occur in this city and in the nation. When the killings stopped for a while, people thought it would stop, only to have their expectations shattered and changed when word spread that the gunman had driven away.

Dunkeld Police are now devising new ways and plans to catch and apprehend him, although progress is currently stagnant. They have been met with sharp criticism from the populace, citing their "dunderheid-ed slowness" most of the time. Chief Constable Joel McCabe had this remark to give:

"We know that you are all getting awfy restless from this. But I assure you, we will capture him. But I have to tell you all that this takes time. We don't know his current whereabouts right now, and we are working hard as fast as we possibly can. But, we will catch him. We will catch and arrest that godless ****ing monster."

A citizen, Reuben Milligan, a father of one of the victims shot in the LGBT Community Center who was one of the people tuning in onto the Chief Constable's conference, made this reply:

"I hope they ****ing do. Otherwise, I would kill them myself for letting that ****face get away with what he's done."

Today, Dunkelders are still feeling the wound inflicted by today's mass shooting. It will only be a matter of time when they will be satisfied at the capture of the gunman, let alone lynch him.

United Osean States Limited Aid Act Passes in Parliament

Image
Prime Minister MacCormick speaks at a press conference after the passage of the Act

At 3:15 PM, the newly-proposed United Osean States Limited Aid Act has passed the legislature with 185 votes out of 210. Attracting much support from the conservatives, liberal democrats and social democrats, the decision to pass the Act was justified by the Joyean's repeated attacks toward the United Osean States during their conflict, and the recent offensive by the former nation consolidated this choice further. Royal assent by the King will occur tomorrow at 11:00 AM, thereby putting the legislation into effect officially.

"I think we are doing a good thing by passing this Act," states Cliamain MacIllAnndrais, a Conservative MP, "It would show the world that Folaisia is on the right side."

"We should help nations that are being threatened by aggressive, totalitarian polities in any way we can, and that the world must not turn a blind eye at what's happening right now," says Liberal Democrat MP Seanna Jhandir.

"I believe that this kind of aid is necessary," enunciates Gilleasbaig MacLulaich, a Social Democrat, "and it would certainly show that what Joyea is doing is wrong, despite the questionable acts from Osea, and has received our [the Party's] condemnation."

This Act would allow aid in the form of armaments, economic support and humanitarian assistance to be distributed towards the United Osean States. Direct military support however was not recommended unanimously. MacCormick epouses this view, expressing that "sending troops over there at this time would be a waste, and unless Joyea has the audacity to attack our people, indirect support is the viable option."
