OOC Thread for LGBT Protestors Attacked by Government Forces

I hope to make my next post tomorrow, and it'll essentially be outlining the Kylarnatian response to the official statements made by various parties and establishing how the Embassy responded as events became more clear, and what their present status is in regards to how many people are still taking refuge there. I was thinking of also maybe writing a news post covering the events of the (now previous) day.

An idea I also have is having our Embassy send out runners over to other embassies that are letting protesters take refuge, just to get some dialogue going between all of us. If anyone would be interested in that, let me know.

Hey everyone, there is a list in the OP now of non-governmental organizations involved with this thread. Since the protest march was so big, there may be smaller organizations that might exist that are not listed, but those would be the ones foreigners would know to exist. Feel free tomention or feature them, and let me know if you'd like more information about them.

I notice that my last few posts have made several references here and there to the nonhuman appearance of most of my Ruvians. I do hope that isn't a problem for people because I have noticed that quite a few people on this site have been reluctant to interact with my nation in the past because of it. As you can tell by my posts so far, their attributes don't really make much difference at all in terms of abilities and are mostly just cosmetic. I do think it can add some nice flavor to the RP, as the unstable situation in New Edom causes my people there to grapple with what it's like to be in a country that isn't anywhere near as used to their kind as their homeland is.

If it does bother you then it should be easy enough to just consider them humans as (I believe) Yohannes does. I can try to cool it a little with my references to their unique features as well, though I always find it fun to play with that.

Yeah that's fine. When I read your last post I took it to be a potential racial issue. Edomites with regard to that have a complicated society, but it's mostly about culture and religion.

I wasn't sure whether to react yet either, since I don't know if it would be public knowledge yet. Edom has reacted to it in character dialogue in the post linked in the OP, don't know if there has been a communiqué yet though (thread is moving too quick for me, I might have missed it).

I don’t believe so either. Any suggestions from the crowd on what I should RP ext, besides the meeting in New Edom, which obviously needs him to respond first. I was thinking violent anti-LGBT moves in the Khanate, perpetrated by non-state actors.
