Some game changes?

Hey everyone, I've been considering a couple of easy changes that could be added to nationstates….
1) Extra polls - essentially allow multiple polls in a region at a time
2) A global chat - similar to regional message board, but for global communications


Please comment if you would also like to see these changes, and please don't negatively comment

A global chat is an interesting idea.

Are you aware of The Endless Thread? I feel this may serve a similar purpose, though I've never used it myself. If you are aware of it, how would the global rmb differ from it in a meaningful way?

Multiple polls at once would be great. I shouldn't have to wait to introduce a new poll when some other poll is running.

It's called the Eternal Thread , and it is right here in the General forum, though it is used for general chat, very rarely about actual NS-related stuff, and has its own in-jokes, culture, and everything. Maybe there could be a global chat/RMB sort of thing specifically for in-character/NS-related discussion?

Regardless, I think this thread itself would be better suited for Technical.

A global RMB (a GMB?) would be pure hell. Can you imagine how fast that thing would go? You'd take a bathroom break and find 10 new pages have gone by.

Maybe, adding language section unlockable in 100 Million citizens, and ability to refuse NS stats officially?

In my opinion, a number of forum threads such as The Eternal Thread (General) and Neutral Ground (Gameplay) duplicate the idea of a global RMB. I am therefore concerned that a Global RMB may not be worth the extra demand on the Game Moderators, when forum threads basically do the same thing.

This will never happen. It completely subverts the core game mechanic.
