I had lots of fun running over Politics Amino in my Black Ford Raptor Truck.

Not gonna lie, this resolution caused me a lot of stress and extra work in the last few days. But it only made my victory sweeter.

*Raises eyebrows* Had to come and brag about destroying an innocent community? Destroying an innocent community is nothing to brag about, especially when the native delegate of said community had to go through surgery and couldn't protect his home in the first place.

Destroying an innocent community is on its own not a task one would brag about outside of a standard raid report.

Sucessfully destroying an innocent community with over 4700 people voting to stop me is a different matter entirely.

Great job Benja, this achievement really showcases your dedication and knowledge about military gameplay. Osiris should be proud.
Vanq commands a quiet respect that carries its own authority. He is the Hitler of NS.

"I took away Vanq's YB for deliberatly ignoring me"
"I know Vanq is a very good writer and this is how he treats someone of lesser skill?"
"I would love to have a writer of your caliber along for the ride"
"neo and vanq do a dbz fusion to form 1 big shitposter then get erased from NS by kyrusia"
"Which is the level of memeing I expect from Vanq"
"brigadier general comes on, pulls a vanq and calls us all autistic"

Agree that it's in bad taste to come over here and gloat. But I'm very high on the polite scale. However, by the time we - or you, for that matter - knew that their former delegate was having health issues the region had already been raided, the former-Delegate had already abandoned it, and you had already gone and yelled at him for making unwise decisions in response to a raid. I don't think we could characterize you as yelling at a person in poor health anymore than we could characterize Benja as having been cruel to a person in poor health. By the time his health was even a factor, the ball was already rolling. Bragging may have been in bad taste, but it's definitely in bad taste to use the condition of another person to guilt trip Benja - especially without that person's permission.

As a Founderless region, Politica Amino was going to be a point of stress for that person whether we took it out now or it remained raid fodder by some twisted sense of guilt. Legion explained their situation to the former-delegate, gave them some tips on how to keep their borders secure, how regional CTEs work, etc alll during this process. His comments on our presence there were that we were a lot nicer and more helpful than he thought we would be. I realize that you have to be morally opposed to raiding, and that's fine, but we didn't just cruelly run him down and stress out a dude in the hospital.i don't appreciate the assertion that we did.

Indeed, though it would still be preferable for the vote to flip fast enough to render the need moot.

Considering the staggering 4,700+ individual nations that have voted for, compared to only about 1,500 against, I do not think a reversal will be taking place. Even if every major delegate on switched to against, it would still pass on small delegates and individual nations alone.

I'd be more optimistic if the remaining voting period was longer :p

I agree that coming in here to gloat and brag is bad, and shouldn't be done. Especially when it's about unwarranted region destruction and seems to only serve the purpose of spiting the author.

That said, what I approve even less of is the fact you seem to be attempting to paint Benja as "bad" because he didn't know the circumstances of the native delegate. That's quite serious, and it's in incredibly bad taste to bring it up to guilt him. The native delegate couldn't have done anything about it, and by the time Osiris & Co. figured out the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the delegate it was already raided.

That all kept in mind, if the natives wish to set up a new region and they want help with it, they can contact me through telegram.

The condition of the native Delegate aside, I'm disappointed to see that Osiris followed through on the refound, and even more disappointed to see gloating.

You're all right, and I apologize for my words. I am what is considered a moral defender, whether that's a good thing or a bad thing I don't know. I hate seeing regional communities get destroyed a lot, and losing this one when we were so close to the point where we could actually help them was a big pain. The gloating really rubbed me the wrong way after losing the refound, and 20 hours of being awake it made me say stupid things. I berated myself for what I said to the native delegate after I learned their health condition, and it was wrong of me to mention it here. Add on top of that that I consider this loss my fault for the lib not reaching vote the update it should have, and you get a downright dumb Kuri.

I'm proud of what the Legion and especially Benja did in Politics Amino. Benja has a right to be proud of what he accomplished, especially in light of this resolution. You're right to raise some of the moral questions associated with raiding, but maybe you should get off your high horse and stop dissing Benja and the Legion.

Cormac is allowed an opinion and hasn't expressed it rudely. I wouldn't call this a high horse, more just an expression of disappointment. And I'm very disappointed in the gloating and general attitude of my Moshir too, so I have no qualms or complaints about Cormac's feelings. Thank you for taking the time to stand up for Benja, but Benja bought and paid for the criticism he will receive for his actions. Better to let him learn and grow than stand in the way of it.

Didn't know regions could be "refounded". How does that work? A grave injustice has been done. Kuriko and those of us who voted for this resolution have every right to be upset, especially given the fact the raiders gloated about their victory to spite us. I consider such aggression to be a mild form of griefing, albeit not against the rules. Yes, the natives can simply found a new region, but it's still disruptive and annoying as fuck to break up innocent communities like that.

I was lucky

Postby Oregon Island » Mon Feb 04, 2019 2:14 pm

I am very lucky because I was going to join Politics Animo a month ago as I was looking to decide which region I was going to join. Then my ally (friend in real life) Somewhere and Some Places persuaded me to join North America. THANK GOD HE DID! If I just went ahead to try to join it, I would have been kicked anyway.

But srsly, how do you even invade regions?

How to Raid regions:

-By Equestria and Griffon / Coolidge Ark / Neue Coolidge

Step 1: Transfer your WA to a different account.

Step 2: After the update, flood into the region and endorse one other raider

Step 3: If all goes to plan, then bingo bongo! You've completed the raid!

Your first step isn't technically needed, the second is both false and possibly illegal, and the third issn't actually a step
