So do you support endangering migration patterns of hundreds of species and bulldozing the National Butterfly Sanctuary to build a stupid unneeded wall? Go ask China how well building a border wall worked out.

There are also these things called planes, ships, shovels and ladders perhaps you've heard of them?

And planes are how most illegals get here -- by entering legally, then overstaying their visas.

Not to mention how fucking hypocritical this is when Trump employed and undocumented workers on his business properties. And he's used to not paying people for the work they do, so this doesn't at all strike him as a bad thing.

In fact, we could do with even more of it shut down.

It's also affecting the government's ability to fund NASA and science research.

You are actually putting that in the list when it's the dems refusal to fund the wall that is the cause of all this?

Exactly my point, Trump can't even reopen the government at this point.

And since he can't bring both sides to the table, it's his fault and he should be fired.

So sayeth Donnie -- in 2013.

Since our economy is only still working because people are working without pay, I'm pretty sure if the people currently working without pay stopped working the economy would collapse. But planes not being able to fly, no one investigating credit card fraud/forgery, no food or drug inspections, etc could be a good thing in your mind.

Yes actually. With the coast guard, TSA, and CBP functionally shutdown, Trump might have actually created a border crisis where previously one didn’t exist.

The dems were willing to fund Border Security. Just not a massive piece of security theatre that only serves to compensate for Trump's tiny hands, and nothing more.

A big pointless wall? Even Fox hosts point out that they campaigned the midterms on not funding the wall and winning on that platform.

Let's face facts, the shutdown is because of Fox and Trump. The spending package was ready to be signed off and was agreed by both houses, Fox calls Trump out for not having wall spending, Trump says he won't sign it anymore.

Trump shut down the government, he said he would, he said we wanted to. Trump is keeping it closed, since "border security" was already in the agreement, just not his stupid fucking wall.

There is no crysis on the US border. Trump is just fear mongering for the purpose of a wall.

>Trump is putting immigrant children in cages at the border
>There is no crisis at the border

Pick one.

There's not enough crisis to declare a national emergency, but there are dire humanitarian needs. Border security and personnel needs more help in processing and housing migrants.

It is a crisis of Trump's design, and of Trump's planning to get his fucking wall.

Yes, I'd say it's pretty extreme. Not a bad thing though.
