Invasion of Macedonia

Postby Serbiagrad » Thu May 10, 2018 10:13 pm

The final step in uniting Yugoslavia under Serbian rule was the small nation of Macedonia.

Macedonian resistance was frail and limited to a few pockets of guerilla fighters, swiftly defeated by a Slavinoskian backed military.

Guerilla positions weren't directly invaded, but shelled and bombed into submission. Eventually, the Macedonian leadership surrendered to spare his country further infrastructural damage.

invasion of Hungary

Postby Serbiagrad » Fri May 11, 2018 5:58 pm

Hungary was the largest nation so far in Serbia's path of conquest, but with the entirety of yugoslavia united, Serbiagrad was ready to invade.

Hungary had long ago ruled over Serbia, and was quite overcome by the sudden reversal of roles, and put up a bitter fight.

Slavinoskian backed military rolled over Hungary like a storm, quickly dispatching of the resistance.

Georgia

Postby Old Ratistan » Sat May 12, 2018 12:22 am

Georgia was in an awkward state, wedged between two powers who both wanted to annex it. Having seen the fate of Armenia, they decided to cooperate.
Georgia diplomatically decided to become annexed under the terms they gain a seat in Ratistan's Middle Eastern block.

Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan knew its fate after seeing the rest of Anatolia swiftly crumble before a strong Slavinoskian backed military.

Azerbaijan was smart like Georgia, and quietly accepted Ratistanian terms: Along with Armenia and Georgia, Azerbaijan would recieve a seat in the Anatolian representative district.

Adress, Vietnam and Denmark.

The Hetman had an imposing presence. He was a man of large frame and stature, but not overweight, a stone face on which sat a thick and long mustache, and an always present red-army cap of the Marshall rank.

The Hetman walked out of the Warsaw parliament building, and up to a podium, as he gave his press conference.

"Slavinosky is a country home to a variety of people. People of every race and identity flock to the freedom and opportunity our great nation provides, and we as a nation strive to bring that freedom elsewhere.
Vietnam's people are in plight, under attack by a foreign power that would impose upon them an economic system they despise, and we will have none of it. While Vietnam's people may not be in our nation physically, they are still to be treated as subjects of our nation as brothers in socialism.
Arizona only attacks the poor peoples of Vietnam out of a selfish desire to expand influence, despite their current massive world power. This is an abomination, and cannot be allowed.
Slavinosky will back the Viet-Cong resistance to the Arizonian incursion and will do whatever it takes to bring Vietnam's people the government they want."

The Hetman walks back towards the parliament building, and his shadow, a short, skinny individual, the Major General follows in close suit.

"My Hetman, is this small bastion of communism really worth all the trouble this will generate? not to mention the likely intervention of the Americans?" questioned the Major General, who looks away when the Hetman turned his head towards him.

"You do not think Major General, remember the Americans have little power in Vietnam, whereas we have our allies in China to assist us in this effort. We can do little directly, but through our allies we can do much." said the Hetman with the same expression that was always on his face, cold calculation.

"Yes sir. I presume we begin weapons shipment and finance packages for the Viet-Cong?"

"Yes" Said the Hetman finally, before giving the Major General a look that told him he was dismissed.

"Um, Hetman?" asked the Major General, hoping he wasn't at all imposing.

"what?" asked a now annoyed Hetman.

"What of Scandinavia?" muttered the Major General

"We invade Denmark next, that will give us full naval sovereignty."

"Yes sir."

Slovakia

Postby Serbiagrad » Sun May 13, 2018 8:06 pm

Slovakia not only grudgingly accepted an annexation by Serbiagrad, but was joyous to receive a place in the nation.

Serbiagrad had stabilized the Balkan's greatly with fair and just policy, and had ended the century long discord in the region, and had become a sizable influence among the Comintern.

Slovakia joined every other province in the great council of Serbiagrad, and the peaceful annexation began.

Egypt

Postby Old Ratistan » Sun May 13, 2018 9:01 pm

The occupation went swimmingly. The resistance in Egypt was isolated and weak, with little real military power actually present in Egypt.

Egypt's military defense was almost entirely militias and volunteers, with the regime capitulating almost immediately under the pressure from a war. Egypt's domestic issues left no resources to fight Ratistanian occupation, and was annexed.

Egypt would flourish under new Ratistanian control free of the dictatorial regime, and the poverty in the nation would be dissolved by a new socialism.

Norway

Postby Slavinosky » Sun May 13, 2018 9:13 pm

The Scandinavian resistance was nearly over.Sweden, Finland, and Denmark had all capitulated or been annexed by Slavinosky, and all that was left was Norway.

Norway would prove most difficult, as the leftover armed forces of Sweden, Denmark and Finland had retreated into the cold, mountainous terrain of Norway.

The Hetman sat aboard the Baltic Fleet's flagship, and peered into the distance.

A young artillery captain approached the Hetman and performed a sharp salute

"Sir! We have been informed of the locations of the remaining Scandinavian resistance!" said the artillery captain, ready to receive the order to bombard the landings.

"Excellent. Commence bombardment, airstrike the main pockets and then begin the troop landings. It will be over soon."

"Sir yes sir!" said the artillery captain quickly, before turning quickly and shouting orders at the unfortunate men currently at the battery.

The beach was soon lit up by explosions, torn apart by blasts, and then swarmed by soldiers.

The resistance proved weak, and the Scandinavians surrendered in droves.

"The invasion succeeded. What do we do with the prisoners sir?" asked the Major General at the Hetman's side.

"We could use labor in Siberia, and as far as the rest of the world knows, they are simply in prison. We will use them in the mines." Said the Hetman with a cold stare

"Sir, you understand that if the rest of the world finds out about labor camps we could have serious repercussions?"

"We are doing nothing wrong. Prison labor is not illegal even in America, we cannot face repercussions."

Scandinavia had been laid low, and the conquest was over.

Austria

Postby Serbiagrad » Mon May 14, 2018 6:31 pm

Austria was sandwiched between 2 growing powers, and knew its days were numbered. When the day of invasion came, they put up as much of a fight as they could muster.

Austria was a fallen power, a mere hundred years ago controlling most of the Balkans, and parts of West Europe, but was now a small country in a sea of powers.
The Serbs harbored no love for the Austrians, who had always been hostile to their people, and found it cathartic to finally be the ones in power over their hated enemy. The invasion was partly out of necessity, and partly out of pride.

Austrian fought to the very last man to defend their dignity from the hated Serbs, but the united Balkan states proved too strong.

Austria was annexed, and Serbia had defeated the final local power capable of mounting a resistance to incursion.

The Netherlands

Postby Slavinosky » Mon May 14, 2018 7:01 pm

The Netherlands had always been a world Benchmark of Social Progress, science, technology, and wealth. The ideal society was ideal in every regard except for its lacking military.

The Dutch had relied heavily upon an intricate balance kept about by treaties to maintain their safety, and were left utterly unprotected when Slavinosky began its trek outward bound.

The Dutch tried to immediately negotiate, so as to maintain as much of their apparent authority as possible.

"Hetman, i would beg that you reconsider. Our country can provide what you need without being forced to integrate fully, and we don't want a war do we?" asked the Dutch president, a slight, mustachioed man who had all the apparent authority of a boy scout.

"If that is a threat president, I would advise you reconsider. Invading your corner of Europe would be the easiest campaign we'd have this entire century, and we needn't unnecessarily destroy your infrastructure, which could be put to better use producing for Slavinosky. Now, I've plainly laid out my terms, and if you don't oblige, i have eyes, and blades everywhere, willing to replace you with someone who will. Do not mistake bravery for idiocy president." the Hetman gave the president a pat on the back, and motioned his generals to accompany him out the door.

The president knew well what his options were. Look like a puppet, or die, disgraced by Slavinoskian propaganda. Neither would preserve his people's opinion of him, and either way he would die a symbol of Dutch weakness. He didn't want that. He thought of a third option. A much more grim option, but one that would preserve his dignity.

The President slowly walked back to his room, not a sound but the tap tap tap of his boots on the hard tile floor. God, am I really about to do this? Am I ready? thoughts raced through his head, but he knew that this was the choice he wanted to make.

When he reached the tall doors to his room, he slowly opened one, and waved away a secretary, and approached his desk. He opened the second drawer from the top of his desk, and pulled out a box. A black box, and unlocked it. Inside was a .357 revolver. He slid a single shell into the gun. He glanced at the photo of his wife on the desk, and a single tear crossed his face. God, I'm sorry i'll never give you a family He chambered it, placed it under his chin, grimaced, and pulled.

The shot was heard throughout the building.
The Netherland's president was replaced by a Slavinoskian minister, and The Netherlands were annexed.

Belgium

Postby Slavinosky » Tue May 15, 2018 3:51 pm

The Belgians had soon realized they were next, and rushed to ally with The Netherlands to get on better terms, but the unexpected death of The Netherland's president lead to a swift annexation.

The Belgian minister called for a meeting with Slavinosky's Hetman, ready to embrace annexation.

"Hetman, i have no intention of fighting you, and i have no absurd requests to make of you. All i want is the ability to run my country without being dragged into any of these absurd international wars." said a clearly tired and defeated Belgian minister.

"You are wise to not want to fight, but are in no position to request anything of me. Your army would be better spent enhancing the holdings of Slavinosky, and by connection yourself than it would be in a pointless war. Now, I hope you see reason." replied the Hetman.

"I do not ask much of you. I have no intention of fighting you, or anyone at all."

"And i did not ask you minister. Know your power, and that it is limited in these negotiations. I ask you sign, or I will have to replace you, or invade you."

Belgium was annexed under the condition that Belgium would not be in any campaign paths.

Czechia

Postby Serbiagrad » Tue May 15, 2018 7:30 pm

The Serbs and the Chechens were of the same breed. Fiercely independent, unrelentingly loyal, and very capable of war.

The Serbs and Chechens had a deep respect for each other, both having been a people born of hardship, and facing many of the same enemies the Serbs had to.

The Serbs had decided that invading these noble people would be almost criminal, and instead opted to diplomatically incorporate them. Czechia responded kindly, congradulating the newly born empire on its expanse, and expressing interest in joining.

Czechia was granted an honorary and governmental status, their regional command ruling North Serbiagrad (Slovokia, Czechia, and Austria).

Romania

Postby Old Ratistan » Tue May 15, 2018 7:38 pm

Romania was a large, but rather undeveloped nation that would be easy to invade.

Haddam Sussain, new leader of Ratistan, addressed the public on the issue.

"Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears. Romani-.... sorry, wrong speech.... umm.... oh, there we go.

My fellow Rats, we must invade Romania to ensure Lebensraum, living space for Ratistan's people.
With Romania, the homeland will never have to work for food, and the Romanian peoples will produce for the motherland, and the undeveloped, underused lands in Romania will be fully exploited."

Syria

Postby Old Ratistan » Wed May 16, 2018 6:44 pm

With a solid grip on most of the middle east and mediterranean, Ratistan turned its attention to the middle east.

A land of plenty, the middle east was rich in oil, essential for bartering. With America invading parts of the middle east, the scramble had begun.

The Ratistanian Kaiser, Haddam Susain addressed the nation.

"Syria is a vastly underexploited, terror-infested land that Ratistan will create anew! Our great Reich will bring order and wealth to the peoples of Syria, and let it be known that our government be fair and bring prosperity with it!"

Baltic case: Lithuania

Postby Slavinosky » Wed May 16, 2018 8:23 pm

Slavinosky turned their attention to the Baltic states, left alone but not forgotten.

The Baltic states had long realized that annexation was their only option, and had coped and prepared long ago, even drafting annexation terms in advance.

The Baltic states, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia had negotiated as an alliance to increase haggling ability, and a plan had been implemented.
Systematically, the 3 remaining Baltic states would be annexed one by one, from Lithuania North-ward.

Moldova

Postby Serbiagrad » Sat May 19, 2018 3:57 pm

The united Balkans began their outward stretch.

The newly formed Balkan Entente had trouble rallying a council heavily predisposed against each other to war, and the war effort was made more difficult by the organization of manpower having to be done between highly competitive provincial governments.

Moldova, on the other hand, had high political unity, but little manpower and a much smaller armed branch.

The Balkan Entente quickly crushed the small nation of Moldova, but with unnecessary losses due to an unorganized military.

The Balkan Entente in light of the military failure consolidated power, eliminating the provincial government system, and instead enacting a top down state hierarchy.

Lithuania and Estonia

Postby Slavinosky » Sun May 20, 2018 8:13 pm

The remaining Baltic states assimilation was very short. The states had already drawn very close to Slavinosky for safety, and their annexation had been expected for a while.

The discussion of terms was purely ceremonial, both parties knew well that Estonia and Lithuania had almost no say in the outcome. The result would be full annexation of the states, incorporation into the military, and representation into Slavinosky's advice regency.

The Hetman had set out to unite the Slavic peoples. He had done that. It was time to expand his ambitions. One thing stood in his way. The damned Americans, their meddling in affairs abroad permeated in every aspect of world politics, and he couldn't invade anything without their interference.

The Hetman had one thing the Americans didn't. Siberia. If a war broke out, the Slavinoskians could never truly be defeated, just retreating further into Siberia, whereas the only boon the Americans had was immense wealth. If a war broke out, it was impossible to tell who would win, but we knew that the state wasn't ready for that.

One thing was clear. The only way to defeat a nation like the united states was to want it more, and he certainly did. The Americans, even as of now, spent only a fraction that the Slavinoskians did on their armed forces, but their pervasive alliance network prevented their defeat. He had to go further. The Kiev project was almost complete, and when it was complete, it would turn the balance of powers significantly. The Kiev Project would make the Tsar Bomba look like a joke, it would be what struck fear into the Americans.

The Americans could never defeat the Slavs with nuclear weapons, their strategic points were too spread out, but the Americans: they had their key points in very compact locations.

"They have the money and the means... but they havn't the will or the way." the Hetman muttered to himself. He grinned. The Kiev Project would be his ticket to victory. The Americans simply didn't have anything remotely as powerful. The project had been in development since the Cold War, and the Americans were decades behind.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. the Hetman thought to himself. He had to have at least equal production power to match the Americans, or he would lose to attrition. But how, how would he double his GDP?

Area near Koblenz, Capital AL-

The morning started with the sounds of panic and confused excitement today in Koblenz, Capital AL. The citizens of the town were greeted by the arrival of a squadron of blue-navy vessels from Burgundyland. The vessels came easily from the south. The north-flowing river of the Rhine river starts in Switzerland and runs directly through Burgundian territory. The dispatchemnt came quick, as the river flowed in the direction that the ships were taking.
It did not take long for the vessels to complete their purpose, due to the simple facts of geography. The vessels secured the Rhine, and began landing troops in Spleyer, Rudesheim, and south of Koblenz. The marines sent out had the simple task of seizing the ports and preventing the dispatch and location of blue navy vessels into the Burgundian Rhine. With the lower Rhine seized, many military officials in Capital AL realized the predicament they are in- the upper rhine has been paralyzed, as Capital AL can no longer effectively transport goods and people with the Rhine, the major junction of the river having been seized quickly by Burgundyland.
The Burgundian air force also sprung to action. Using months of practice and the benefits of surprise, the air force began a campaign of destruction of Capital AL's infrastructure in the western region of the nation. Freeways, Highways, airways, and air bases of their air force all are under attack, as the air force commits itself to a relentless mission for air superiority and infrastructure paralyzation. Thus will ensure that Capital AL's response time to the invasion is delayed substantially and dampened significantly, due to there being little ways to transport a large amount of troops and supplies.
Burgundyland's third prong is its army. A series of paratrooping missions and a large-scale army invasion of the west slams into Capital AL. The industrial source of Wallonia supplies the armies as they march from Belgium into Capital AL, destroying the garrisons there and seeking to seize the industrial lands of the Ruhr.
Burgundy's blitz into Capital AL presents problems for the nation and an uncertain outcome of this ripe conflict.

Following a long period of social-political unrest in Latvia; a group of Centrists, led by Juris Knabenau, have established total control over the state. Riga castle was promptly re-established as the residency for Knabenau and Raimonds Vējonis has been sent into exile. The Parliament is now back in session and working to restore the previously destroyed infrastructure in the Cēsis District and surrounding areas. Experts speculate that the middle child of the Baltic Triplets may be looking to expand into Estonian & Lithuanian territory. Only time will tell if the Riga-based group will be able to stand on it's own.

A long, multi-day meeting consisting of Juris Knabenau, Kersti Kaljulaid, and a group of advisers from both sides have resulted in the diplomatic annexation of Estonia. Pressure on Kaljulaid to sign the deal was put on by both the Vlemandian government and the Estonian populace. The upcoming weeks will bring ever-so increasing effort to truly unite these two people's under a single banner. Estonian administrative districts have already been redrawn, and elections for Parliament are set to finalize by the end of the month. The outside world are still in awe, attempting to unmask this Vlemandian government as a friend or foe. Lithuania is believed to be next on the chopping block, but many speculate if it will have to be taken via military force. We can only assume that nothing will stay the same for a long time.

Madagascar with new government

Postby Kleiberia » Fri Mar 01, 2019 2:47 pm

-----Madagascar now known as Kleiberia----New Government established---

After a long night, today morning the government of Madagascar retired. The rebels of the group "NewNation" won the civil war which was going on for several months. The new government promised to do better decisions as the last one.

The civil war broke out in June 2018, after the president of Madagascar (insert name here) forbid the freedom of speech and forbid Elections for the next 10 years. The Rebels, known as "NewNation" or "Kleiberians", named after the Bird Nuthatch, started demonstrations and after some violent actions of the Executive, the civil war began. The old President is now in jail and will get a fair trial, promised the new government. The new elections will take place on the 15th March. Till then, the Leader of the "Kleiberians" Jonah Nickte, will be leading the new Empire of Kleiberia.

The Kleiberians are known as conservative and atheistic, with a high budget on Defense. "A new state is always in danger", so the Explanation of Nickte

Vlemandian forces have been spotted marching into Vilnius while skirmishes with Lithuanian forces ensued near Kaunas, Palanga, and Zarasai. The Lithuanian government is in shambles; and have gone into a full shutdown. The President, Dalia Grybauskaitė, has been captured and was forced to surrender her armed forces. Parades are commencing in captured cities; citizens are both filled with despair & optimism. The Vlemandian government is already beginning to re-purpose and reorganize the countryside to expand on industrial sectors. With the Baltic triplets now united, experts suggest this will be the end of Vlemandian conquest for a very long time. Foreign powers are relieved by such predictions; and the world seems more at rest now than before.
