I've long thought the SC was like a Walk of Fame (except more discerning) and that it had to do more with star power and impact on the game

That's one hell of a lot of information for a Commend. Well done on pulling that all together!

Which puts an awful lot of pressure on getting an equally good amount of information for a Condemn, if that's the plan. I don't know how these things are usually done ( it seems strange to me that the information gathering isn't often done publicly in threads here).

I guess there's the obvious founding of Asgard and raiding Christmas. From Escade's interview, there must be something from "an imperialist region called Exshaw, founded by Durkadurkiranistan (aka John Ashcroft Land, or JAL)" and there has to be more material from "I've been a Senator in Europeia, Cabinet Secretary in TNI, Foreign Secretary in The LKE, Lieutenant in the UDL, Chair of the Assembly in TSP, Assembly Speaker in Lazarus. I commanded Balder's military for a while. I was a General in The Brotherhood of Malice, and a Corporal in The Black Hawks."
Wasn't one of the Osiris delegacies technically over throwing an elected delegate? Although it was done with good intentions, it could count as a Condemnable action if material is needed to bulk up a Condemn. Especially if that helped lead Osiris to being a raider aligned region.

I don't see why it wouldn't be. Maybe the specific mention of Nationstates would be illegal, but I can easily shave that off.

It's fine as written, we've allowed the term previously even in light of Rule 4.

OOC: I haven't had much to do with Cormac but from our brief interactions and what I've read of his justice I would be happy to support a commend. My only concern would be bestowing a commend and a subsequent condemn. I can see arguments for why a nation might have both, but as this is being raised by Tim, the target is Cormac, and a large majority of the support for this is offered by, well, the WA Elite, I have a feeling such an action might cause disharmony amongst the World Assembly. Perfectly happy for a commend, though.

It's valid, if you think that opposing the NPO is wrong. Most people don't think that, so it isn't really a convincing point.
