Khataiyi soldiers on their way to arrest passengers
Mid-flight an Iranian passenger plane Flight 784 began having technical issues after taking off from Milan, Italy on its way back to the Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran. Khataiy views Iran as the greatest threat to world peace and as a natural enemy and is engaged in a regional cold-war against the country. Upon making requests for emergency landing in Khataiy's capital of Antakya the Khataiyi air force guided the plane to make a safe landing while army units stationed in the capital were mobilized from their barracks to the airport to begin arresting passengers to check for potential links to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hezbollah or any other organization or government department Khataiy deems as a threat.
Passengers were blindfolded and their luggage has been confiscated by the military as well to search for documents, weapons and other items that could be useful for intelligence gatherings and the passengers are being sent to the capital's main army base to be interrogated. Iran's government has expressed outrage over the incident as have the governments of Iraq, Syria and Algeria. The militant organization Hezbollah has also condemned the act as have their allies and affiliated organizations across the region such as the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces and the self-proclaimed "Government of Yemen" which is run by the Iranian-backed Houthis.
The Khataiyi government vows to protect the rights of those in custody, and to share any valuable information with any government that inquires about the intelligence gathered, the Arab State of Khataiy has also stated terrorists will be held in Khataiy and charged under Khataiyi law which proscribes death for terrorist related charges.
