Just some musings, not trying to be critical.

As a player, this main hall is sadly too clean and the 'inscription' too complex.

Sadly, I don't believe that going to ultraviolet light will reveal anything like: remnants of paint, blood, etcetera.

The 'alphabet' (glyphs, symbols, whatever) seems to defy logic. Extremely complex symbols? When, in our world, we look at numbers, one was made with one angle, w was made with 2 angles, 3... etcetera. And if the letters are tied to sounds (like phonics of the Phoenician alphabet), how many different sounds did the ancient builders have in their language?

By the description, the 'text' is made of 'words' not longer than four characters.

Stylized 'hieroglyphics'?

Perhaps more clues will present themselves?

I will have to be on the lookout.

You're only in the entry room. There's still an entire structure to explore. Don't expect literally the first thing you see to be an important, mystery-solving clue. If it was that easy, it would have been solved three decades ago.

Supposedly, a lot of us have agreed that we're forming a study group.

I wrote Tripetta's last post imagining that Anastasia would come, too, but in such a way that she had the freedom to change her mind. Plus, there's always editing. BTW, 12 Isles told me that they have a cold, so maybe won't post soon.

I checked my post thinking I had messed up, but I guess you misread. I did say that Hugh went to the left room. So, the way it is now, there are eleven rooms in this hallway. Before the turn, there are three on the left and two on the right. Hugh explored the first room on the left, and Samantha explored the first room on the right. After the turn, there are three more rooms on each side.

Quite some stuff is described already if you read what everyone else has written (including Olthar) in the IC thread.

You should make some to time so you can make that effort. Best to not post and wait so you have time to digest everything. You also don't really *need* to know everything - just what your character should know.
