Everyone just wants to be heard, noticed, listened to.
In song and hymn and prayer we use our voices. In weaving stories, spreading gossip, creating tales and directing slander.
And now that everyone is listening, what will you do?
Through the use of words, human's have conquered the planet. With your voice and words, you could conquer it again. Erect monuments, fix problems, or just have quite a bit of fun indeed, for when you speak, people will listen. They will flock to your side when you call and not a single soul will dare disobey your words. So, what do you say?
Hey everyone! Super simple concept based RP here for you all, uh, you play as yourself, but you have suddenly gained the incredible power that you are incredibly persuasive. So persuasive that if you tell anyone to do anything, they'll do it, no questioned asked, no qualms, whatever you said will just become the thing they want to do most in the world. Naturally, being President of Everything has its perks, but it also comes with some drawbacks: a suspicious government, other people with the same powers, and the current powerful people of the world will all want to seize power back, but how you take care of these problems is entirely up to you!
Mechanics:
1. If you tell someone to do something, that thing will become the thing they most want to do in that instant, they will likely drop everything that they are currently doing to accomplish the new goal
2. If for some reason they cannot accomplish the task they have been set, they will continue to try their hardest anyway and may become depressed or exhausted overtime
3. Your voice powers have no effect on the other PCs, so you will have to convince them the old fashioned way
4. Your voice powers do not work over recordings or media or microphones/megaphones or two tin cans tied to a string, it has to be direct vocal chord to ear transference
5. You do not start out knowing the limitations of your powers or that they even exist and you will have to determine these things experimentally
6. If you don't specifically direct one person to complete an action, then everyone within earshot will attempt to complete the task
7. As long as the other person understands, you can get as creative or complex with commands as need be, also, the application code is 56
8. Further, they need to be able to speak your language in order to be enthralled, this is where picking up some Chinese or having google translate handy can be helpful
9. If two Players give contradictory commands to someone, they will become deeply confused and likely become depressed as they attempt to figure out how to accomplish both commands
10. I will handle all other disputes and if someone breaks the rules then I will do something
