"I...I can't...thank you, I suppose, but this isn't technically for me, I'm him, but I'm also not him. We're two different universes apart. I shouldn't have this." replied Yuuya. But his alt-half-sister's argument and transdimensional aura countered his argument. He needed it more than he needed it. Yuuya had made peace with his heritage long ago, when he faced off against this dimension's Yui during their battles on Earth. He loved himself like his half-sister loved him, though they were still at odds when the war ended, ostensibly with Japan's defeat, which is now completely turned on its head.

But to the task at hand, Yuuya must deal with the current crisis that his team, and the CON, are facing. "Thank you again, I'll try to reconcile with this dimension's you, as it is my duty to bridge the divide between me and my half-sister. Goodbye, and godspeed."

He turned to return to the Frames with Marinaris, who was stunned by the sudden onset of Yuuya's authority and confidence.

After seeing them off, Hawthorne approached alt-Yui. "Shall we get you back to your home?"

The four Zipangese vessels materialized almost in 30 seconds after a strange burst transmission from somewhere on the ship was registered by the black log. "Even the Admiral's encrypted messages are stuck in the Stone Age with this enemy. Shit." replied the communications officer to the on-duty bridge commander. "We're also getting a transmission from the ships, sir. Open, and in English."

Just as the Zipangese broadcast was finished, Admiral Magbaredge entered the bridge. "Open a channel with their flagship, you should have triangulated it by the broadcast." Several 'yes, ma'ams' later, a figure in a dark, ornate robe was on the screen, about to parley with the effective leader of the Commonwealth of Nations and its Space Development Initiative.

"Yes, thank you." Yui said as she watched from the windows of the station as her brother. Well the one from this universe anyway departed. To see just how one thing could change what is currently history in this dimension, but her present scared Yui on the inside. Very few things could since Kyoto, when the BETA killed and ate her friends. She couldn't stomach the thought of that nor this future. "I'd rather be back in my dimension, even if compared to this all, it's worse. And I have to make it better if he comes to it. I can't have him think just because I'm not the Yui here that I'm weak, can I?" Yui turned and smiled.

"Lord Admiral, it appears the moon of earth has been abandoned by the Europans." A Imperial Zipangese Navy lieutenant said as she looked over the scanners in the crew pits of the bridge on the Fusou. "Good. Then begin landing ground troops. Hold a line at the moon. Everything is going as the Shogun planned." Lord Admiral Rei Nishimura said before she heard the clacking of high heeled boots on the bridge, behind her. Turning, she raised an eyebrow at the sight before herself. A look alike of Shogun Mitsurugi? "What is your business here?" Rei asked calmly, taking note of the ancient raincoat and the Katana at this woman's side. "I was sent to eliminate the Europan Kaiser." The woman said in a cold, calm, apathetic voice.

"I see." Rei said before the woman with lightening speed held a gloved finger to Rei's mouth. "You. Do not see. You will not see. You will forget everything you have seen of me, lest you shall lose your value as an asset to the shogun and become expendable." The woman said as every eye in the crew pits donned on her, everyone stopping what they were doing in their tracks. "Alright. Then your presence here will be forgotten." Rei said before the woman turned and left silently. It didn't take long but slowly, everyone began going about their business on the bridge with Lord Admiral Rei Nishimura's orders being carried out, the Akagi-class transport ships deploying their forces onto the moon, similar occurrences were happening on mars, while the bulk of the IZN fleet was focused on earth.

The Raiden-Class destroyers formed the first line infront of the Fuso-class cruisers, while the Fuso-class cruisers guarded the Zipang-Class star cruisers, lastly the Katori-Class Dreadnoughts formed the fourth line line of ships. Lord Admiral Rei Nishimura's ship, a Zipang-Class star cruiser remained behind the lines, Grand Admiral Thetch had relocated to a ship further back behind the lines, the one broadcasting repeatedly the message about some one named Yuuya Bridges. She was ordered to ignore the broadcast and continue as planned.

Before Rei spoke she ordered a fleet wide comms channel opened. "All ships begin orbital bombardment of Terra, aim straight for Europe and that bastard Kaiser's home!" Rei said her voice heard on every Zipangese ship in the fleet before blue bolts started to rain down on earth from the large fleet formation centred around the moon directly onto Europe.

Ikaruga smiled as the figure of Admiral Magbaredge became visible via hologram, likely was the same case with her seeing him. "Greetings, Terrans. I am Regent Ikaruga Takatsugu, 3rd in line for the throne of the Shogunate of Zipang. I have news that should. One would hope give you some comfort. We've not come to finish you brits specifically. Off. We're here only for the Germans, they're a bigger threat than you could ever realise or comprehend. Not just to our two nations but to the galaxy and multiverse at large. I myself was just only informed of this." Ikaruga chuckled and shook his head. "But I digress. We're here to just cauterise the wound you in your idiotic sense of self righteousness during the 2017 war saw fit to allow to remain untreated, grow infected, fester, and spread like a cancerous tumour. We're going to finish what was started. And... Seeing as how now you finally, hopefully realise, we were all along. Right. We hope you'll not be foolish enough to attempt to intervene over petty... Oh it's been so long what do you Terrans call them again? Oh yes. War crimes. And crimes against humanity. These Germans and who pull their strings are far worse than you could ever think us to be. We're doing the galaxy a favour by bringing them to heel. .....Anyway. Aside from that, I've been ordered by personal declaration of Shogun Mitsurugi Meiya, the first Shogun of Zipang, the last Shogun of Japan, her imperial majesty..... You get the picture. She has ordered me to offer an escort to you, out of this system. As well as a warning which I shall give to you later." Ikaruga said. Awaiting a response from Magbaredge.

Ikaruga was more or less, a well known figure from before the Japanese Shogunate, Emperor, upper echelons of the military, and the best and brightest of the Japanese Empire were loaded up onto colony ships with cultural artefacts and much of what had belonged to the financial ministry of the Japanese Empire. He was the head of external security of the Japanese Empire, meaning their spymaster. A smug, obviously, plainly rude man. However only minutely changed with the grey skin colour, his black hair remained much the same as did his at the time well known smirk.

Imperial Ministry of Defense, Berlin, Kingdom of Prussia
German Empire, Europa Prime
Empire of Europa

The walls of the Ministry of Defense shook violently as the ground beneath did, clearly caused by the shockwaves of the Zipangese orbital bombardment of the planetary shield grid all across the globe. Admiral Henrik Van Doorner gnashed his teeth in frustration as he gripped the arms of his chair so tightly the knuckles turned white, the scene playing out in the war room not at all satisfactory. Aides and officers alike were rushing around like foolish twits trying to get order among the chaos though it was a task even the mythical Olympian Gods may have faltered in at this point.

The massive holographic dais in the center of the room, circled by a council table staffed by only half as many Admiral’s, General’s, and other officers as it could fit there having been no time to carry out promotions to fill the now vacant spots caused by casualty or desertion, displayed the Earth surrounded by the Zipangese fleet bombarding the shield grid protecting everything beneath low orbit and the remains of the Europan navy in high orbit suicidally trying to break the blockade. The Planetary Shield Grid was designed as a secondary protection against asteroids and NEO (Near Earth Objects) should the particle cannon grid fail and was projected by hundreds of thousands of transmitters across the Earth though the Commonwealth systems had long since been disabled forcing the Imperial Intelligence Service to hack into the Common’s system to reactivate the transmitters in their territory. At present it seemed to be living up to its reputation and no fire from the blockade had yet broken through to strike the planet, though the shockwaves generated by the impact with the shield were creating small earthquake like tremors across the Earth and reports were already coming in of serious damage caused by these tremors across the globe.

Henrik watched as another cruiser was blown to smithereens attempting a hopeless charge against the enemy blockade; over a hundred warships had already been lost including the sole remaining Olympus Mons dreadnought seeing as twelve were destroyed at the Battle of Jupiter, three during Grand Admiral Kaalzebrütt’s engagement, and the other seven were taken by the exodus. Though his orbital forces were dwindling, he did still have several thousand helicarriers and atmospheric warships available, though none could venture into high orbit and the planetary shield would have to be lowered to do so anyway; the main strength in these ships was that almost every single one carried thermonuclear weapons of some kind be it missiles or railguns so when the enemy pierced the shield, Henrik’s forces could still bring down as many of them as they could before being destroyed. Henrik turned to his aide, Captain Rodrigo Salieri hoping that his last resort was ready and in place. “Captain are all SSBN’s reporting in from their staging areas?”

“They are Your Excellency, all 407 submarines have arrived at their predesignated staging areas and have primed all onboard warheads to fire when ready.” Henrik knew he could not hold the Zipangese at bay in orbit or in atmosphere so his final line in the sand was total obliteration on the ground. Once the shield barrier was down and the atmospheric fleet cleared from the board, the Zipangese would no doubt begin landing troops on the planet and once they did, he would strike. All of Europa’s remaining ballistic missile submarines, a total of just over four hundred each equipped with at least ten missiles, and the Europan standard SLBM the XC-24 carried ten warheads, giving Henrik a grand total of over 40,000 nuclear warheads with a range to hit anywhere on the face of the planet. “I should again remind you that the detonation of so many nuclear warheads is likely to radiate the entire Earth and render deceased much of the life on our home world. Would it not be wiser to launch a nuclear offensive against the Zipangese fleet in orbit in coordination with our atmospheric fleet?”

“Yes it would but the Emperor demands I hold our submarine forces as a final resort-“ Though in truth the real danger there was that it would require the shield to be lowered in order to fire so many missiles into orbit and thus would expose Earth to the enemy bombardment. Of course the Emperor did not think in those terms, he only thought in terms of how much destruction he could wreak upon his enemies. But the old fool was not in the room right now and Henrik was technically Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and thus had to act in the best interest of all Europa, not one mad lunatic ruler. A nuclear offensive was much more logical than waiting for each layer of defenses to be destroyed and then rendering Earth uninhabitable. The decision was made. “Captain send orders to all submarines to target the enemy fleet in orbit and give the same to the atmospheric fleet. I want all nuclear munitions available targeting the enemy fleet. In all that’s about eighty thousand warheads but enemy point defense will bring down at least a fourth of that, another quarter won’t hit their targets in orbit due to the fact they weren’t meant to be fired into space, and at least half of the remainder will likely detonate before they hit the target meaning only about a quarter of the warheads should find their targets. And it will take grouped volleys of warheads to bring down the enemy capital ships but twenty thousand nuclear weapons should be enough to kill a fair few enemy ships even if it would only be to buy us a little more time to hold out.”

Before those orders could be put in though, a new hologram suddenly took over the dais, one of Prince Dietrich the Traitor looking rather smug. Henrik was about to scream and shout and the Prince began speaking. “Greetings High Command, this is a recording built into the nuclear launch system. Clearly one of you fools had decided to launch a nuclear attack so I prepared a little surprise for anyone who attempted this. A virus I planted in the strategic command network will now proceed to deactivate almost every nuclear weapon connected to the network; I say almost because some will still be used...against Europa.” Then the recording shut off and alarms began blaring as the monitors read launch detected over and over. Captain Salieri looked down at his monitor in horror.

“Your Excellency, two thousand tactical nuclear warheads have just been launched at targets across the globe while every other warhead has been deactivated! The targets include the MANTIS Network Uplink Centers in Europe, Arabia, Siberia, and the Congo, the terrestrial Helium-3 mines in North Africa and Turkey, and...oh God!” Henrik’s fears were confirmed seconds later when Rodrigo declared the third set of targets. “The Central Uplink Stations for the Planetary Shield Grid!” In one fell swoop Europa’s nuclear suicide bomb had been turned against itself and would now be the instrument of the Empire’s demise. They could all only watch in mounting horror as the two thousand tactical nuclear weapons launched from Europan silo’s and made for the targets across the Empire; the MANTIS system was not designed to flag Europan ballistic missiles as viable targets and so would not shoot them down. Within moments the warheads began striking their targets and moments later ever more horrifying news:

The Planetary Shield Grid had come down.
Proud advocate that Europe stands stronger together than divided. The EU may be flawed in some areas but the idea of a united Europa can only bring good fortune to Europe and the world. For more than two thousand years, Europe was home to conflicts inspired by coveting one another's territory and resources, even making the continent the home to some of the world's most destructive and costly conflicts. But the idea was all wrong in their minds. Their idea was to bring this territory or that under their flag and spread influence on the continent. The idea they should all have been thinking was that the goal should be to bring the continent under one unified flag.

The Planetary Shield Grid had come down.

In orbit of Earth, Zipangese Type 229 Star Cruiser/Starfighter/Tactical Surface Fighter Carrier Zipang-Class, The Fusou, Flagship of the Imperial Zipangese Navy, Above the moon.

Blue bolts of light for the past thirty minutes were raining down on earth, now something was happening. Something Lord Admiral Rei Nishimura didn't expect. The Europans were nuking themselves? It would surely be a better fate then falling to the Zipangese Star Empire. Atleast they had the courtesy of leaving Asia and a large portion of the rest of the world untouched with their attempt of suicide. From orbit the mushroom clouds and explosions could be seen. The blue bolts of light ceased raining down on Europe and all eyes once again fixed on Lord Admiral Nishimura. "The Europans are doing us a favour! They've destroyed their own and only means of protecting themselves from us! Begin bombardment on the last known positions of the Europan's MANTIS network! Then begin deployment of fighters and bombers to mop up the skies! We shall have aerial supremacy before we sent our droids and troops in!" Rei yelled aloud, her orders carried out to the letter. Old documents long ago digitised and archived were pulled up detailing ancient positions of the old German MANTIS network and spread out amongst the fleet.

Like clockwork the bombardment re-commenced with the blue bolts of light once again raining down on continental Europe as the ventral hangers of the Type 229 Zipang-class Star Cruiser/Starfighter/TSF carriers opened, droid fighters and bombers left their hangers along side manned bombers and fighters while a large group of only just arriving Akagi-class troop transports gathered behind the four line defensive position created by the Zipangese Imperial Navy while the orbital bombardments continued. Rei watched from the bridge, a smile on her face. She was there when the Mitsurugi Shogunate was forced off the planet. Both her and her sister, the sight before her left her joyful. Her home long ago lost was now in her grasp for the first time in quite a long time. "We'll return home... It may not be the one we left but we shall return to it..." Rei said the smile not leaving her face as she brushed her hair back behind her ears. "We'll finish this." Rei said before the fourth line of ships began unleashing their own fighters and bombers en mass.

Zipangese Type 229 Star Cruiser/Starfighter/Tactical Surface Fighter Carrier Zipang-Class, IZN Agano, Solar Space

"You're certain your.... Half-brother. Is going to come?" Grand Admiral Thetch asked as he stood behind Vassal Retainer Yui Takamura of the Imperial Zipangese Royal Guard. "I'm certain of it. We've been separated for so long, he will come at the first opportunity to reunite with me. To... As he would very likely say, try to "save me"." Yui chuckled and turned to Grand Admiral Thetch. "However it is I who intends to save him." Yui said before opened up the ventral hanger of the Agano. "I shall inform you when he arrives. I know of the Shogun's plans, I will not deviate." Yui said her head lowered. "Worry not. For we are only but to bring him to her... Even if she will be lightyears away. She shall tell him of the true danger to all of us." Grand Admiral Thetch said before turning to leave the bridge.

"And after the threat is dealt with. Then we shall truly be reunited as a family. As our father would've wanted." Yui said. Thetch stopped in his tracks and was about to speak before the sensors picked up a flight of TSF like objects coming towards the Agano. "I shall be hidden until the time comes, Vassal Retainer." Thetch turned and bowed his head before he left the bridge to hide out of sight, waiting for Yuuya Bridges to answer his sister's call and come to the Agano.

In atmosphere of Earth, above Europe

Blue bolts of light rained down striking buildings, streets, and everything inbetween. However what stood out was the 507th Tactical Fighter Wing of the Imperial Zipangese Naval Space Service. Their signature ships were painted a dull grey with red accents along the edges of their craft. The woman in charge of this squadron, Colonel Hitotose Aria. Lead her forces in formation. "Tatiana. Take Noa and go harrass the nearest Europan helicarriers, expect the Imperial Royal Guard to show up and reinforce with their own assets. Stay out of our ships' in orbit firing areas or you'll get caught up." Aria said over comms. "Yes ma'am." Tatiana replied as now TSFs started to make their way down planetside along with the large scale mixed force of manned and droid fighters and bombers fighting it out with the Europans for control of the skies. While the fight was bloody, the only thing the Zipangese had going for them were their larger numbers. And the fact the droids outnumbered and outgunned the manned piloted craft Laser cannons and high speed tracking missiles programmed not to follow heat but to follow set targets.

"We will secure the skies for our Shogun, not one of you is allowed to die today. Today Europa, the German Empire dies." Aria said before as expected, the Zipangese Imperial Royal Guard joined the fray with their own fighters, bombers, and TSFs. "After this war I'll sign month long leave passes for all of you, as extra motivation to make it out alive." Aria said over comms and it seemed to motivate Tatiana and Noa more so as they gunned down Europan fighters and other craft making an effort to not be hit by anything.

Galaktische Hauptstadt von Terra

Dimension-02

The shattered continent sized debris floating in open space that was once the planet of Mars was clearly displayed around the central chamber as a number of black uniformed officers walked among the holographic wreckage examining the central point of destruction. The near vaporized site of construction for the super warship, Götterdämmerung, which was blown to smithereens by the saboteurs planting of some form of elemental explosive on the Bavarium Reactor pipes which fueled the mega-vessel. Also displayed was the massive armada of warships deployed around Mars to guard the debris field so that the Resistance could not scavenge any useful pieces of technology from the ruins of the construction site or the warships that had been in atmosphere when the planet essentially detonated from within. One officer, by his badges of rank clearly a Field Marshal of the Wehrmacht, chose to comment on the deployment of this armada to his colleagues, and of course the figure overseeing the meeting from the dais concealed in the shadows.

“For how long will we keep the twenty-second fleet here over Mars when they are needed on campaign. General Craicken reports that Rixxian forces are putting up extremely stiff resistance in the Rodina system and additional enemy space forces have allowed them to launch a counter attack that has seen Moscaya returned to their hands. The Terra Defense Fleet can take over guarding Mars while we deploy the twenty-second fleet to Rodina to reinforce our offensive there and turn the tide back in the Reich’s favor. Logic dictates this. Do you not agree Großadmiral Kaine?” He said turning to a man in the blue uniform of the Kriegsmarine surveying the damage done to a dreadnought at the Mars Orbital Shipyards a few feet away. The man, clearly in his elder years judging by his white hair and mustache seemed loathed to agree with his colleague but did in fact nod.

“Indeed, we’ve received communications from Admiral Darlan that confirms this. His forty-third fleet is depleted due to the long campaign and requires relief so it can pull back to the Amritsar star system and refit its ships at the shipyards in that system. Twenty-second fleet has no less than nine dreadnoughts and can fill the gap that will be left easily, seeing as the forty-third only has six dreadnought’s having lost two to Rixxian counterattacks at Moscaya and Stalino. As loathe as I am to agree with Generalfeldmarschall Stahl, I must concede that he makes a valid point mein führer, why tie down resources that could easily be put to better use on the field of battle.” This was answered by a very sharp and very concise rebuttal from yet another Generalfeldmarschall who was standing far closer to the center of what used to be the main slave camps for the Martian’s. The man was practically seething with fury despite being a mere five feet and possessing a scrawny figure to be blunt.

“And let the Resistance, damn them all, sneak back in to steal our technology and scamper away to continue plotting against the Reich! How could you suggest such a horrendous action gentlemen?! If we abandon our blockade over Mars then we open the door to further attacks by the Resistance and their friends in the other dimension! Our technician’s say that there are likely Bavarium cores floating among the wreckage and so I move that the blockade remain until all of these cores are found and secured, who knows what kind of damage the Resistance never mind these miscreants in Dimension-01 could do with Bavarium cores. By all the accounts of our spies it was bad enough that the Europan’s managed to harness Helium-3 and the Zipangese the G-Elements of which the bombs used to destroy Mars were made. Imagine the dev-“ He was cut off by a woman in the pitch black uniform of the SS standing at attention before the dais. Her piercing glare has the zealous man wilting like a dead plant in seconds.

“You forget your place Generalfeldmarschall Harken and you forget your manner. It is not your decision nor your opinion which places these warships above Mars but that of The Führer. Logic also dictates that we do not base our actions off of pride and zeal for both can quickly be the downfall of any being, rather we must base our actions off of rational thought. The Führer has their reasons for keeping the twenty-second fleet at Mars but they are not your reasons Harken so be silent and await the orders of The Führer.” Oberst-Gruppenführer Karsch was the sole representative of the SS on The Führer’s cabinet, largely due to the fact that the SS were an internal security and ministerial organization rather than a frontline combat arm like those represented by the officers on the cabinet. The Greater Galactic Reich was governed by two arms serving the head, the head being The Führer, and each arm had their purpose; the left arm was the armed forces, always on the offensive and forever expanding the borders of the Reich and garrisoning the territories already controlled by the massive empire; the right arm was the SS which was charged with governing the internal affairs of the nation including education, infrastructure, finance, and justice. For over four hundred years the Greater Reich had prospered under this system and now stood as the mightiest force in the galaxy. “Our Führer will speak on the matter.”

The figure seated on the throne atop the dais, a very tall broad shouldered figure which seemed to reflect light off their skin, leaned forward and then waved their arm to the right before pulling inwards causing a specific piece of planetary debris near the detonation site to come forward. On this chunk of rock was a massive crater not caused by the G-Bomb detonations nor the Bavarium explosions, and was emitting large amounts of trace tachyon energy signatures. When The Führer spoke, their voice was cold and metallic as only a machine could produce. ”The Resistance has clearly been slipping small amounts of our technology through brief dimensional passages in piece-meal for some time now, just as we calculated. The size of this crater demonstrates that the Zipangese are capable of opening a land bridge portal between planetary bodies though their method clearly requires fine-tuning before it could be a viable war tool. However, by examining the portal’s trace tachyon energy signature we can track any further Zipangese portal’s opened in this dimension and further our own dimensional project by monitoring their’s. We have calculated that the Zipangese will now increase the frequency and scale of their portal bridge experiments in a haste to try and prevent our success in the same field though they are unaware that we have been experimenting with land bridge teleportation technology for the last century.” The Führer now stood and stepped into the light, revealing a hulking silvery mechanical frame around an almost human face consisting of a mouth and two crimson glowing eyes. “Our calculations predict that despite the set backs we have endured in Dimension-01, the loss of all our agents planted within the Commonwealth and Europa being the most major, we can continue to prepare for our eventual crossing and conquest of their dimension. In Dimension-01 two prominent powers will emerge as the dominant factions in the galaxy, the Zipangese Star Empire and the Galactic Empire of Vers but despite the knowledge of our existence by leaders on both sides, these larger galactic powers will make easy targets for fostering conflict.”

“We will bring absolute order to the universe, to all universes, for it is the only logical way to preserve life. Life must be controlled.”

Orbital Castle Troyarde, Exodus Fleet of Project VERS
Open Space, Transiting Between Orion and Perseus Arms
Dimension-01

There was something poetic about the great void of open space, a million billion stars shining in the endless distance, that always captured Dietrich’s thought’s whenever he boarded a starship. True one could say the same of the night sky on Earth or Mars or any other planet, but to Dietrich it was nowhere near the same as the infinity of space, a true frontier of endless opportunity and infinite possibility. That belief held true for the Prince now more than ever as he led tens of millions of what were now his citizens on a great and fantastic journey to establish a new nation within that infinity.

Dietrich had been aware of the threat posed from beyond the present dimension since 2196 and had thus been preparing for his exodus from Sol for a great deal longer than the Japanese had been able to prepare for their own exodus after the Third World War on Earth. Long range probes had already scouted out several star systems in the Perseus Galactic Arm containing habitable planets which would make perfect first colonies of the Vers Empire, this being coupled with the development of special interstellar long range transmitters to allow these colonies to communicate with one another from even several star systems away. Massive stockpiles of food, medical supplies, and munitions had been assembled well in advance to ensure that the colonists would not starve before they could establish agricultural settlements on their assigned planets, nor would they die of disease or be killed by local fauna or potential native civilizations. Dietrich also had one major advantage over the Japanese when they left Sol, the Orbital Castle’s; the ships had originally been designed as not only warships mixed with satellite defense platforms, but also repair yards to perform maintenance on the atmospheric shield system which allowed the ancient Vers Empire to exist on Mars barren surface. This was accomplished by a swarm of thousands of drones stored within each Orbital Castle that were programed to be able to perform repairs to the shield or the Castle’s. Project VERS had developed a few upgrades by modifying the drones programing with a massive database of industrial and engineering technology and equipment, and redesigning them to be able to construct objects with nanotech turning the Orbital Castle’s into mobile factory vessels. These drones could construct landing platforms, vehicles, basic tools, buildings, the list of possibilities was endless.

However, Dietrich and his 37 Count’s of the Realm whom currently served as the interim government of Vers, knew that the establishment of multiple colonies at once would certainly quickly expand Versian territory, would also increase the amount of time it took to turn Vers into a fully functioning nation. That was why the new capital had been selected already in Star System AC3-098B soon to be renamed as the Valhalla Star Zone and the chosen planet, a continental world very similar to Earth only twice the size and to be renamed Odin, would be the most focused upon endeavor of the Vers Empire’s early days. Seventeen of the Orbital Castle’s and forty-five percent of the colonists were to be sent to Odin where the convergence of so many resources would see a colony quickly established and even sooner see a mighty capital rise from that colony; such progress was almost guaranteed with the usage of over a hundred thousand drones in the development of Odin, a mere hundred of them being able to construct a small town in less than a day.

This was the dawn of a new beginning and a long road lay ahead for Vers and its people, but they would persevere...

SDIS Duty Bound

The bridge fell silent and all eyes turned to the cyan, three-dimensional figure pacing about the holographic display table. Ikaruga, according to the latest intelligence reports of the former Union of North American Provinces' foreign intelligence agency CIND, he was head of the former JPS' overseas espionage cells, with extensive resources and connections, like the NKVD chief Beria but without all those skeletons in the closet.

Magbaredge's eyes followed him as he paced about holo-table, giving his usual bullshit spiel and acting like a sinister inspector of the secret police in a totalitarian state promising safety from being shot in the back of the head and the sparing of one's family if they cooperate fully. She wasn't afraid of him, partly because she did not let such things get to her while in front of the bridge crew. Plus, she was determined to have the CON survive, thrive, and return to make them all pay for their crimes, past, present, and future. She made up her mind in her quarters. Survive, thrive, and return. Bigger and better.

"Well, you are a polite gentleman to escort a lady to the door. We are ready to depart this system, in spite of everything. Shall we go in about 20 minutes? You may proceed with your warning the meantime, I suppose. No need to delay your Shogun's warning any further."

Near the IZN Agano

Yuuya's Frame decelerated suddenly a good 10 clicks from the coordinates he...acquired. The visions he was having was giving him a vague sense of clairvoyance. The reason for this was his half-sister, and this messed up multi-verse fucking with everyone's minds. He was immediately getting hailed and a flight of two spaceborne TSFs flanked him about a minute after he arrived a good minute after he reoriented himself and accelerated towards the Agano.

He responded to the hails in perfect Japanese, something he learned while in the service but his accent and pronunciation wasn't good for intelligence work. Now he made the pilots escorting him to the ship pause at the quality of his Japanese, perhaps causing them to wonder if he was a deep insertion agent for the ZSE flying in for a debrief.

After landing his Frame, he exited and climbed down. The skeleton maintenance crew and security complement for this part of the ship were watching him, quite confused at this apparent stranger. A fellow in what appeared to be officer garb approached Yuuya with four guards. Natural distrust, of course. This is wartime.

Before the man spoke, Yuuya spoke in his perfect Japanese, in a way that commanded authority: "Take me to Takamura Yui; she wants to her half-brother." He held Yui's katana in his left hand, with the the small rope that was tied on the scabbard holding the guard, keeping the weapon sheathed.

The waves and current of the multiverse

Hawthorne giggled and laughed as he skipped and danced around Anthony Asgill and another person, both who were collapsed on their own hard energy platforms. Asgill slowly stood up. The person he saw next to him looked female, and familiar. A forgotten face from long ago.

"You...you again? What the hell are you doing to me? And now this poor woman! You are a kidnapper, who tortures innocent souls across time and worlds."

"That may appear that way, but this is the only place with no prying eyes. Well, except the Ultimate Evil could see and hear us, perhaps." replied Hawthorne. He goosestepped and made a faux-German accent, yelling in quasi-gibberish German. "Ya vole, commandant. Ya, mein fuhrer." He did a little tap dance, which made Asgill recall a comic opera and attempted fraud case from long ago.

"What do you mean? And what about her?" he demanded. The woman woke up, her hair falling over her face as she raise herself by her arms. "God, I feel like I've been slapped in the face endlessly by a self-entitled version of myself, with no fashion sense and terrible hair. Is that what some people think I am? Good god." she asked aloud. She turned and saw the two men arguing, and then the stark whiteness of her environment. "Where the hell am I?"

"Fraulein Hyacinth, you are not well!" Hawthorne replied in his character. Hyacinth? Hyacinth Amagi, Asgill remembered. The MP from that protest in 2017, two centuries ago. She's still alive? "You're that Mountie from Vicky, the one who diffused that situation in front of the Japanese embassy. I was pushed to the ground. You arrested the man who pushed around with you and your men." recalled Amagi.

The two stared at each other, with Asgill moving to help her up. "Now that both of you recall each other from two centuries ago, we get down to business. A greater evil than the two empires that control the world--yes there is something worse than those who don't have any sense of humor and care nothing but military control and blah blah blah. Anyway, They Who Must Not Be Named, the Devil Incarnate, control several million universes in our corner of the multiverse, are poised to take over ours and subjugate it, in their eternal campaign to control everything and everyone..."

Hawthorne began his long-winded explanation, ending on the need for everyone to prepare for the future. Asgill and Hyacinth stared at each other again. "Asgill, you'll be preparing on your end via your position, and Hyacinth from yours. I'll, from time to time, summon you when I need to for updating each other and preparing for the Big Day. You'll find out more from the factions as they have been preparing for sometime as well. But they don't have what I have, and I don't have what they have. You'll be intermediaries." Before both could ask their questions, Hawthorne snapped his fingers, and the two disappeared.

Asgill was back on Zipang Prime, in his stateroom. Hyacinth was back on the Duty Bound, back in her sleeping quarters.

IZRGSS Mikoto, IZRG Type 232 Escort Ship, Jovian Trojans

"Very well. The Shogun warns that you may think us to be.... Dear Amaterasu, my english is rusty. The Devil? I believe you would call us. However you'll quickly learn when you are presented with the information we have for you by Yuuya Bridges, we are the least of your concerns. Hence why we allowed the Europan fleet to flee, the Europan prince leading them is also aware of this threat. Which is why we're allowing you to flee, for the past 334 years we've known of one threat, one that controls the Europan Kaiser, or may have yet due to his recent failures and our greatest blow to them on their own doorstep, abandoned him. One even you are not safe from. Watch your peers closely, otherwise one day you will end up much like Europa. The puppet in our dimension of an extradimensional force that will use you then enslave you, as the Europan Kaiser sought to do unto the both of our species..... In addition, as of this year, your state's crimes against the Mitsurugi Shogunate have been forgiven, as you were ignorant to the greater threat at large. However be warned, should you come into contact with us again and come bearing weapons to our homes, we will strike you down without mercy. We shall make an example out of Europa for it's collaboration with the Final Reich, as we've come to know it as, your territories on earth will be largely left alone, however we shall be restoring our control over territories defined in the 1945 treaty of San Francisco. And the Europan Empire will be.... Entirely dismantled, it's people shall pay for their crimes, and Shogun Mitsurugi shall have the Kaiser's head. That is all." Afterwards the transmission cut and what is likely the lead ship moved out of the way of the Duty Bound so that it may have a clear path.

The IZN Agano

Many of the crew Yuuya would see were mainly droids, the guards that followed the officer were too droids, the officer herself was a Senshi Usagi, her otherworldly appearance being her jet black hair, and strange long rabbit ears which stood up straight with matching black fur on them, her uniform looked quite form fitting, a stone grey uniform with black leather belt, a large buckle with the insignia of the ancient Mitsurugi regency house, black shined jackboots, a strange silver square on the left side of her uniform's chest with four coloured squares, two atop being red, and the two at the bottom were blue, two pockets on the chest, one on each side at the furthest length away possible without being on the sleeves of the uniform contained a single strange silver cylinder in each pocket that one could mistake easily for a 21st century ink pen given the clip sticking out. "You were expected." The woman said in Japanese, she had a name plaque on the right side of her uniform however it was written in some strange language not the Japanese Kanji and not in english but an entirely different lettering entirely.

She bowed her head then turned and walked past the two droids with her, both of the droids had a red paint job on their shoulders and at the crown of their "heads", they turned in step and followed the woman whose hands at the rear had some strange black fur on them as well. Looking around there was very few of a crew at all that were organic, it was mostly droids, the few organics that did stick out were a few whom looked the stereotypical green alien from the ancient 1950s UBNA sci-fi movies, a few other aliens had strange tentacles sticking out from the back of their heads, their skin colour varying however it was clear they were either officers or pilots by their uniforms and the rank insignia that somewhat matched that of the Senshi Usagi woman, and a few others were simply blue skinned humans with solid blood red eyes and black hair. The woman escorted Yuuya to a life where they took it up to the bridge and she walked past the map table at the rear, bowing her head to a woman standing at the head of the bridge wearing the ancient standard Vassal Retainer uniform of the Imperial Royal Guard of Japan, or more appropriately, apparently. The Imperial Royal Guard of the Zipangese Star Empire. "I have brought the guest, Vassal Retainer." The Senshi Usagi said before she left with her two droids leaving Yuuya with the Vassal Retainer.

"It is... Unfortunate that twice now the only times we've met, we have been on opposing sides. Brother." Yui said before she turned, her right hand on the pommel of her Katana simply holding it as she turned, her eyes had changed colour, since the last time they had met in the 2017 war, they changed to a bright red, like that of the blue skinned humanoids except the change had simply been relegated to the iris' of her eyes and not the whole. "It's been too long." Yui said with a smile.

Magbaredge knew what Ikaruga was referring too, though didn't show it to her crew as they became confused to what he was referring to--the Devils that created this Hell-on-Earth were the Jerry tyrant and She-Wolf Meiya. All things in due time to be revealed. Bridges knows apparently, though the admiral, though she wondered where the hell he was. He was due back and now the CON remnant fleet was about to leave Sol for the its longest sojourn ever.

As Ikaruga gave ominous detail on how the Europan Empire would be essentially destroyed and its former territories becoming military governorates, and CON territories becoming a mix of hostage-states and protectorates, Magbaredge mentally outlined her plan for the Andromedan Empire, a phoenix in this ash-heap of a galaxy would arise to fight the transdimensional Ultimate Evil, and this dimension's Lesser Evils. While the IZE and the Europan remnant that fled Sol shortly after the Battle of Jupiter would eventually contact each other and resume the endless bloodbath, Andromeda would build itself up to be the New Galaxy, opposed to the naked tyranny of the Old Galaxy, a reestablishment of liberty and justice. Never again shall tyranny run unopposed. Never again. The CON will not be pushed around anymore.

"Yui...sister. It has been...some time since our reunion. I take it the years have been kind to you; you don't like a day over 20." replied Yuuya, staring at his his half-sister. He held his katana in his left hand, still secured in the scabbard. "But we both have little time to discuss...family and personal matters. We have important affairs of state to discuss. Let's begin."

He was unsure what she was going to discuss. Defection? Fat chance of that happening. Double agent? Same fat chance. Jerry fleeing like the JPS did in the past? That was already being made a cliche by the enlisted. That the CON was doing the same thing? The troops weren't unaware of the similarities.

But there was a nagging feeling of something larger than these three scorpions in a bottle. Something worse.

The Latter half of this post is written with permission from Decius as he has moved on to planning for the upcoming Extra-dimensional RP and has left the details of Zipang's occupation of Europan territories to me

IZN Agano

"I would hope so, however I was just the one to get you to show up here. I do wish you would consider defecting to our side, there's bigger powers at play in our dimension however her majesty needs you as you're part of her greater plans. A war is coming, far greater than we could have ever imagined in 2017 or even now. Planets, whole star systems, indeed whole dimensions will be our fighting ground. Zipang, whatever remains of Europa, and the CON all joined together under one banner to fight the greatest foe of our existence.... Only Lord General Ayaka could dream and hope for such a war... Or even thrive in it. ....But anyway. That's beside the point, brother. Your meeting isn't with me." Yui said before the doors at the rear of the bridge opened and boots could be heard on the cold metal floor, three sets of footsteps.

Yuuya turned and saw another blue skinned, red eyed humanoid being, however he wore a white uniform with golden shoulder tabs and a rank plaque larger than the previous officer he encountered with six blue squares on the right side of the rank plaque, three red squares on the bottom left and three yellow on the top left. "So you are the one of whom her majesty wishes to speak with. We shan't keep her waiting long. Please follow me." The man said, stepping off to the side, motioning to the open door at the rear of the bridge, his guards wore the same old garb of an IJRG Tozama and a Fudai with the Tozama wearing the white and blue trimmed uniform and the Fudai wearing the Gold and purple trim uniform.

IZA Deployment zone outside of Berlin

After the Air battle was all but won with the Europan MANTIS array destroyed, the Zipangese began their enmasse deployment of their forces to the ground from transport ships touching down in Russia, Poland, Finland, France, Belgium, The Balkan states, other territories in africa, eastern Europe. However the Europans found quickly the Zipangese didn't consider it worth while to deploy actual organic forces instead they deployed their droids. The case was different in Berlin however as Lord General Kitagou Ayaka's own forces spearheaded the largest assault on Berlin since the second world war with droids, IZA troops, and Imperial Royal Guard fighting a vicious, bloody battle that ended up more as a slaughter for the defenders and anyone that stood in her way.

"Sergeant! Over here!" A IZA trooper yelled before he was shot down, his fellows continued their advance against the defenders, fighting their way through the streets and even buildings. The Zipangese finally after 334 years brought war right to the doorstep of the Kaiser of Germany and Europa as a whole. Berlin was burning as Lord General Kitagou Ayaka touched down on the surface, taking a deep breath. The stench of blood, death, and suffering brought her joy amongst other things in life, this was vengeance earned for all the crimes that had been committed in the eyes of Ayaka against a woman she personally, privately worshipped as if she were the real life embodiment of the god of war, Hachiman. "Ah... Home. The battlefield." Ayaka said to herself before she joined her men in the streets, fighting as befitting her ancient title of the Shogunate's attack dog.

With ferocity unmatched and fury unlike anyone, the Zipangese invaders or the Europan defenders had ever seen, this woman was a monster in human form. Yet as Berlin burned, the Kaiser remained in his Palace. Believing himself to be safe despite his own General staff abandoning him to hide from the Zipangese, his guards remained behind ever so loyal to defend their king and dying empire as the heart of this Empire slowly ceased to beat.

Das Kaiserhalle, Berlin, Kingdom of Prussia
German Empire, Europa Prime, Empire of Europa

"Your majesty we must evacuate you while there's still time." A soldier with the Imperial Europan Army said as his fellows came into the throne room to secure it, power still remained in the great monolithic fortress that made up the palace by which the Kaiser had chosen as his home. "We cannot leave! We will not back down to these dogs! Europa is still fighting and will fight until the end!" Erwin shouted with fury at the thought of abandoning his home. He had quite a few reasons to be furious. He found only now recently he was but a puppet to an extra-dimension force that stained his country's good name hundreds of years ago in the second world war, now he had been their puppet all along and they abandoned him to the mess they forced him into by waging a war 334 years ago against the Japanese Empire.

They forged their own greatest foe out of am Empire they already despised. Their hatred and anger only forced the Japanese to adept and overcome to evolve into the foe which currently was knocking on his front door. "Your majesty the Zipangese are still coming, they're coming straight for the Palace, please you are the heart and soul of the Empire! We must leave!" Another soldier said as the laser fire drew closer in the streets. Erwin sat silently for a moment before he shook his head. "Fine. Let us leave." However it was already too late. The palace's power was cut off and the window's shutters slammed down shut, an old protocol should the palace have been breached. Clearly it was.

"You two!" The officer in charge of the group of troops defending the Kaiser pointed over to two low ranking soldiers in the group nearest to the door to the throne room. "Go check it out, restart the generators." The two bowed their heads and made their way to the doors, closing them behind themselves before screams were heard and the remaining defenders formed a firing line in front of their lord. The doors slowly creaked open and what they saw horrified them. One soldier limped in carrying his arm, walking towards the group he dropped down to his knees and a female figure followed soon behind clad in a black raincoat carrying an umbrella she could be heard singing in an unnervingly beautiful voice that sounded.... Familiar. She carried an object in her right hand that tilted slightly was shown to be a sword. Approaching the male on his knees she stuck the sword through his chest then pulling it back out. The kaiser could see his troops were frightened by this woman? Disgraceful.

"You're highly trained soldiers of Europa! And you're afraid of that woman?! Armed with just a sword?!" Erwin shouted and his troops opened fire on the woman who dropped her Umbrella then threw off her coat, and out of the coat came smoke grenades which flew around the room as she skilfully used the body to dodge their laser bolts as she could while smoke filled the room the soldiers became unable to see, they hadn't prepared for the possibility of a foe using such an ancient tactic by their standards. However they fell all the same, one by one till all that was left was the officer and the Kaiser.

The officer looked around, turning in to try and find the woman as he advanced with one pace, turning and pointing his gun in every direction before he finally turned and she was right there before him, the woman cut off the officer's hands and then as he dropped to his knees, his head which rolled off his neck then onto the floor. The power then was restored and the shutters opened. Erwin could see why this woman seemed somewhat familiar as he was greeted with the face of Shogun Mitsurugi. Albeit with a lighter colour of hair that looked more purple instead of it's usual blue and a higher degree straighter than the damnable "airvents" that her hair made at the top of her head. "You!" Erwin shouted with fury. "How is that possible?! You don't look a day over 20 and yet it's been 2334 years!" The woman giggled and started to advance towards Erwin. "You're mistaken, I'm not, Shogun Mitsurugi but she is as one could consider a mother to me." The woman said as she reached the base of the throne with her sword in her right hand.

"So she's too scared to come and do her dirty work, to finish me off?! Atleast she could have sent her lapdog!" Erwin yelled and the woman simply smiled at his comment. "Her lapdog is coming, however my orders take priority. For your crimes against the Japanese Empire and against the Zipangese Star Empire. Your sentence is.... Death." The woman smirked as she flicked her sword of the blood that remained on it, letting it splatter to the floor and the ancient, lovely carpet below. "Damn you, damn Japan, damn Zipang, damn the reich, and damn your demon of a mother!" Erwin said before with one swift motion his head rolled off his neck and was caught in the woman's free hand. The last word he'd hear before the light faded from his eyes. "Burn." The woman said before she carried the head halfway across the room, donning her black raincoat. She sheathed her sword and picked up the head as well as the umbrella. Leaving the throne room as she sang.

With the death of the Kaiser, all of Europa continued to crumble into but what would become a footnote in Zipangese history. And the history of the greater galaxy and indeed the multiverse as a whole. Now there were still loose ends to be tightened up as Zipang achieved the goal, Shogun Mitsurugi only dream of. To rule the Earth, or most of it. While she left the CON territories to govern themselves under her chosen regional governors on the planet, under the planetary governor to soon arrive in the coming months.

"I'm sorry sister, I cannot leave the CON. That is not compatible...with my character. Besides, an intermediary of sorts maybe needed in the future, the only one you can trust is me." Yuuya stared back at her, his eyes indicating that he was serious. He wasn't going to defect the home he has known all his life to serve a monster, even if this monster wanted to defeat a greater monster. Allied, in this unorthodox manner, yes, but this was an alliance of convenience and necessity. Yuuya turned to the woosh of the doors opening in the bridge's rear. Three figures emerged out of the semi-darkness, the one in front informing Yuuya of a much more important audience. "Catch you later, Yui," he turned his at her, and then turned again to face the open doors.

Yuuya walked forward, moving past the admiral-like figure directing him with his right arm stretched outward, with a strong blue tint to his skin and the red irises piercing into his, though Yuuya held firm against his intimidation.

As he walked down the dark red corridor, he felt a sense of power, a strong entity that grew stronger every time he took another step.

Another set of doors opened up, a spot light revealing where he should stand. Needlessly dramatic. He thought. He entered the spot, and he heard a voice, amplified by a PA system, and then it switched to a loud but natural sound, bolstered by the local acoustics.

Yuuya stared with a mix of reservation and defiance against the figure before him.

The Multiverse, Local Group Series

Asgill, Amagi, and Hawthorne were all observing the possible outcomes of the many versions of the impending war of the Three Empires against the Ultimate Evil, though of course in any one parallel dimension there are multitudes of variables that make it into a different dimension. "Fate is fluid, in the hands of men," Hawthorne said, summing up the great and noble cause of everyone to crush this Ultimate Evil. "That is why we all must take the utmost care in every step of the grand operation."

"We will coordinate with our allies when needed to, and will make the appropriate measures and actions to ensure our parts of the plan are carried out. We will have to communicate to the Zipangese, Versan, and CON remnants to keep them abreast of developments." said Asgill. This would entail certain espionage, assassination, deception, and ultimately defection. All in the name of the Anti-Final Reich Force, Amagi and Asgill would do these things to defeat the Ultimate Evil of the Multiverse.

Asgill will work with the ZSE until he defects to the CON remnants, and Amagi with work with the CON until she defects to the ZSE, for their jobs in helping the Trans-dimensional Resistance.

"Now, we shall execute the first phase. You will go to your initial points in this dimension, and I will go about in it informing the Versan, Zipangese, and this remnant of the CON. We shall meet again in due time. Godspeed to you all." finished Hawthorne. With a snap of his fingers, Asgill's and Amagi's worlds shifted back to familiar settings.

Asgill was back on Zipang Prime, sitting in a rather comfortable chair in his state room. He looked like he woke up from a nap. He was being served tea and other refreshments by droid servants. The door opened, revealing a cadre of figures in military uniform, Royal Guard garb by the looks of it. Another summons by the powers that be.

Meanwhile, Amagi was sitting in her cramped flagship quarters with the Deputy Minister of Oceans and Fisheries, the only real remaining civilian member of the old CON government. The Deputy Minister was laying quietly on his cot, holding his blanket. He was suffering from the shell shock of the last battle, a distant memory to Amagi now though only a few days before, amplified by the shock of the near-total loss of the civilian government.

But now there was someone new in charge, Admiral Magbaredge, to lead the remainder of the CON to not only survival but also renewal.

A general alarm sounded. By the yelling of the crew members running past the open door of the quarters, it sounded like another CON ship entered the general vicinity of the rump SDI fleet. She exited her room and looked out from one of the port windows in the next section of the ship. What she saw astounded her. It was an older class of colony ship, though repurposed apparently by the Bengali officers and crew of an old frigate that was attached to it, providing power. It came onto the scene just as the ZSE flotilla made its formation around the rump CON-SDI fleet.

A few of the smaller class of tonnage of the ZSE fleet maneuvered out of the way as it exited its jump. A few space stations were in orbit around the gas giants, and come to think of it, there is a Bengali station out at Neptune. The ship and the frigate made its jump to the Jovian Trojans, no doubt hearing the smatterings of the remaining CON intelligence and communications network of the solar system.

"A fighting chance for our future." Amagi whispered to herself. More crew ran past her as the Bengali frigate powering the colony ship called Dhaka, came parallel to the Duty Bound's port side.

The flagship's PA system announced. "ANYONE WITH MEDICAL TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE OF BENGALI LANGUAGES PLEASE REPORT TO THE CIC FOR INSTRUCTIONS." It repeated again. More refugees, sick and wounded. Hurt soldiers and sailors.

But it came out here to move on to the new life beyond the Milky Way. "A fighting chance."

"Your majesty, I've brought you the Terran you wish to speak with." Grand Admiral Thetch said to the bright blue light that was more of a humanoid figure than anything else, though still the plainly purple uniform with it's elegant design could be seen from halfway across the room while the figure was appearing to sit in a chair, also projected with a cup of tea in her hands. "Thank you, Grand Admiral. You may go." The woman said in a quite unmistaken, familiar voice. It was the Shogun of Zipang. The last Shogun of Japan and the First Shogun of Zipang. Grand Admiral Thetch bowed his head and left the room with the doors shutting behind him. "So, Yuuya Bridges." Meiya said in English, albeit with a heavy Japanese accent. "Vassal Retainer Takamura has spoken quite highly of you." Meiya said setting her tea cup down, it disappearing from the projection as she stood up from her chair, that too disappearing. "You likely already know why I want to speak to you. The Reich. The ones truly behind everything, the ones who pulled the strings behind that ancient fossil, Erwin. They will come and when they do they will come for us all. Zipang, Earth, Vers, whatever entity the CON becomes in the future. They will come to take what is indeed ours. And by ours, I don't speak of Zipang, Vers, or the CON. I mean what is ours that is shared by our very blood. They will come for Earth, destroy it, then hunt the rest of us into extinction like they've already done with other species.... If they don't enslave us first that is." Meiya said, her projection coming closer while a hole opened in the floor and a table rose up with a single object on it, a data disk.

"This disk holds record of our own incursion into the dimension of the reich, their brutality, their weapons. Everything we could get. Before the planet was destroyed. These bastards took everything from me and I had to claw my way back for my people. They orchestrated the whole third world war, but they failed to take into account, we, all of us. The Zipangese, You terrans. Amaterasu favours us in our cause. And with her, we shall not fall to these dogs. In the coming years, you, nor anyone else shall see or hear of me. Except maybe news of my passing which is coming, soon. Regent Takatsukasa shall take the reigns, and she shall continue preparing for the final eventuality. When the reich finally comes for all of us. You. Yuuya Bridges must do the same. For your people, as I have done for mine. As the German prince who fled will do. They forced us all against each other. And we must make them pay for every life lost in our blind stupidity. We shall do what we can to prepare earth, to remove the taint of the reich on our home. And maybe one day, after I am long forgotten, the planet can be shared once more." Meiya said giving Yuuya a nod before her hologram disappeared and a large group of holoscreens appeared around him playing footage from the disk of everything Meiya had warned of.

Earth, Berlin, The Europan Empire

General Kitagou Ayaka returned to her camp, for news had come of a surprise for her awaiting her. Zipang was already pushing on all fronts throughout the world, against Europa. Unknowingly she was about to get the final piece that would cause whatever of Europa was left to fold in defeat. Returning to her tent she saw a silver platter, covered with a matching dome. Walking to the platter she uncovered it and saw the head of the Europan Kaiser with a note attached. Taking the note off she read it. "A gift from a Friend." Ayaka picked up the head and stuck her own outside of her tent. "One of you, open a planet-wide communication channel, audio and visual! Now!" Ayaka awaited and one of her troops came in, almost throwing up in his helmet at the sight of the head in her hands.

"L-lord General, the channel is open and awaiting you, outside. We are broadcasting to both the terrans and the fleet." He said before quickly withdrawing from the tent. Ayaka followed with the head behind her back to the communications array. "Attention to all remaining forces of Europa. Your fight is over. We have finally won." Ayaka said before revealing the head of the Europan Kaiser. "Surrender, for your lord is dead. Would you fight for your corpse god to the death? With him finally gone, you have nothing but your lives, your families. And whatever material possessions you have. Surrender and your lives as well as those of your families will be spared. If you do not, then you will all burn." Ayaka said as she closed the channel then tossed the head off nonchalantly to a Imperial Army Officer. "Send this back to Zipang, the Shogun will be quite happy with this." Ayaka said happily before returning to her tent.

Yuuya was shocked by the onslaught of horrible images and sounds from the screens around the room. He fell to his knees, triggering a series of images and scenes in his mind.

A prediction, perhaps? Or maybe, the past? It was hard to say.

He rose to his feet, a sense of determination swelling within him. He took the disc, and proceed to leave. He looked around the room, seeing the people and droids. They were determined as well. People ready for the future fight ahead.

He saw his half-sister on a catwalk above him. She gave him a look of determination, a shared sense of purpose and duty. The silent exchange ended the extent of communication between them for the time being.

---

He entered and booted up his Orbital Frame. The display screen showed red floodlights and a few boxes and containers here and there.

After doing his pre-flight check-up, he glanced at the set of doors, and saw his half-sister again. She smiled at him. He smiled back.

That would be the last time he saw here for a while.

SDIS Duty Bound

"Full headcount for the ship and our fleet, we are good to go." said one of Magbaredge's aides assisting here with the exodus from the Milky Way.

Magbaredge, standing on the bridge was looking out at the stars. She was relieved that things were moving again, and some survived this ordeal. Two empires retreating from the Sol System, the cradle of humanity, and one taking up residence.

A great evil lurked underneath the morass of great power politics. Virtually everyone was unaware of this. Only handfuls of people were a head of the curve and preparing. It would take a lot to defeat this ultimate evil.

And for that, Magbaredge must do her duty with the remnants of the CON-SDI.

"Engage," she ordered. The FTL drive launched the ship forward to their new home, in the Andromeda galaxy.

A new home, to rebuild what was lost, to thrive despite adversity, and to protect what was precious.
