Astre took a mighty drink of it. "Feh...I can withstand a bulle-" His prideful words were interrupted by him coughing up some blood. "Tch... what a pain. You have drinks to serve, though, so I can and rather would wait."

"Watch this." He snaps as a doppelganger peaked out from Vixen's shadow taking over.

Now he pulls over a table a bit off from most people. "Lay down and show me the wound. I'm sure we can get this done in seconds with two doctors." Vixen nods

"A successful hunt, my friend. Some fire-giants were stirring up trouble in a local county- destroying communities, stealing livestock, killing people, that sort of thing. We caught wind of it, and offered our services to the Sheriff- we Ursins have a particular knack for monster fighting, and the Sheriff was offering a hefty bounty on those giants. We tracked them down, and engaged them in an epic battle... I'll let you guess who won. We're here to celebrate a good day- we had a good fight, we put a stop to those giants terrorizing innocents, and we made a good bit of money doing it, too. Today was a good day."

With topics restored to such things as injury and alternate versions of people- well, that one reminded her of bad things as well, but bad things she didn’t need to panic over- she was able to remain calm. Of course, Gikochinai, being “calm” actually meant possessing a restless and boundless excitement. Still, as she smiled, she wondered whether or not it would be a good idea to get a drink before any other bad stuff happened. She’d feel disoriented and uncomfortable...so it wasn’t worth it. Instead, she just decided to skip around the room, hoping that would be enough to keep her from straying from happiness.

Yoshida turned his head towards Pieter, contemplating pulling his Type 26, before deciding otherwise, instead walking over to Astre, shochu bottle in hand. "Here. Have some of this shochu. It should numb the pain as he tends to your wounds."

He then turned to Duncan. "If there is anything I can do to help, let me know."

Astre just grunted in response to Duncan and looked away. He knew that Duncan wasn't wrong, but frankly wasn't in the mood to be cordial with the spitting image of the analogous clanning-killing brother to his emo inspiration for the majority of bad mid-2000s fanfiction person he wanted to kill the most. When Yoshida offered the drink, he snatched it almost aggressively and immediately went bottoms-up with it in a few heavy gulps before setting it down and wiping his mouth off.

He gazed at Giko for a moment, and then to Vixen. "What the devil is her problem...?" whispered the prince to the bar's well-known bartender with a blend of what seemed to be disdain but also curiosity.

It was an actual woman this time, not a confused radioactive giant that wears a feminine armor.

"I'm trying to figure that out myself. She is a curious one I believe she suppresses somthing and in doing so she forces bliss and joy as her default emotions." Vixen took a wild guess.

Duncan walks in carrying a toolbox, trying to wipe the grease and oil off his shirt with a rag. He mumbles something about 'having to fix the reality servers' or something like that, before going to his usual table, where Humbold and Wiltshire had already begun today's card game.
