Animation only lasts as long as you concentrate on it, and skill level determines how many objects you can simultaneously control as well as how large of objects you can control.

Constaniana wrote:Name: Jeremiah "Jacky" Fisherwright
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Appearance: This, but with navy blue in the clothes instead of red.
Personality: Reserved at first, but gets very energetic and passionate should the subject turn to foreign affairs or the latest naval innovations. Polite but a bit aloof with the landlubbers he finds himself surrounded by. Not so good with women, since he's been at sea for the past few years and has been out of practice with them. Loyal to his family.
Life Goal: A complete modernisation of Altomura's navy to prevent her being surpassed and subjugated by the Isle of Po.
Favored Element: Fire
Elements Known: Fire, Water, Wood
Degree Pursuing: Animatheurgy
Backstory: Jeremiah was the firstborn in his family, the illustrious Fisherwright clan, in the major western port city of Fifedaighnn. Their ancestors, like most folk around there, were fishermen, until Andrew Fisherwright as born. Andrew was an incredibly talented phytokineticist, but rather than go off and see the world or spend his life studying deeper magic he stayed around in Fifedaighnn and used his control of wood to build and repair fishing boats. His business was very successful, and his successors continued to be the premier shipwrights in the region. As ships advanced in design the scope of the Fisherwright Company did too, using phytokinesis to build more and more types of vessels, and grow bigger and richer. When pirates and raiders would sail into the area the people began to look to the Fisherwrights to lead them in sea battles, figuring that if they knew how to build ships so well then they would know a thing or two about breaking them down as well. Luckily the Fisherwrights had plenty of sons, so some would go on into naval officer service while others stayed ashore at the workshops. Through the generations the Fisherwrights's extra heirs would go into a few other businesses, or the main company would merge with another family business in the town, leading to the current state where Fisherwright Fifedaignn Amalgamated is a prosperous company working in shipbuilding, fishmongering, and whaling. The Fisherwrights have never been made into nobility, but they quietly act like the lords of Fifedaignn anyway.
Jeremiah's father Paul worked in the R&D department, and was quite fond of his children, so Jeremiah got to see the testing of new steam engines and that sort of thing firsthand. It instilled in him a fascination for science and invention that continues to drive him. Jeremiah also acquired an interest in history, nurtured by the stories of his grandfather, for whom he was named. Grandfather Jeremiah was the first son of the previous chairman, but chose to spend his whole career in the navy, letting his younger brother Timothy succeed their father and become the current Chairman of the Board. When he retired from the navy as an admiral Jeremiah spent a lot of his time entertaining his numerous grandchildren, great-nephews and great-nieces. But the old Jeremiah also liked arguing about politics and international incidents, with one country in particular earning his ire: Po. He had seen how much their navy had swollen in comparison to the Altomuran navy, and was always indignant about the fact. His grandson soaked it all up, and Jacky made it his goal to force his homeland to overhaul the entire fleet, restoring her to the preeminence on the seas that had existed when Admiral Jeremiah had first went out to sea. Jacky Fisherwright became an ensign at 16, as so many of his ancestors had done, and served aboard a warship for about 2 years before returning to land to complete his magical education at Sir Whifflebottom's.

The bio makes it sound like he was born with a talent for wood, but you list his favored element as fire. I'm assuming that was a mistake. In any case, accepted.

The Twelve Isles wrote:Name: Anastasia Allencroft
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance:(Image)
Personality: Calm, cool and collected, Anastasia makes herself known by being intelligent, hard working and a bit of a loner. She is in no way mean however. In fact, she abhors bullies and in her few months at the school has already racked up a bit of a reputation for getting in fights with them. However, she still feels, well, just a little different.
Life Goal: To become a powerful magician, and to do her part in elevating the people of her families holdings.
Favored Element: air
Elements Known: Fire, Air, Light
Degree Pursuing: Aether
Backstory: Anastasia was born to a Marcher Lord on the Mulmurth border. Her family was never well liked by the other royal families, as they only earned their titles in the last generation through marriages, working with the military, business deals and loud petitioning of the queen. As a result of this, as well as being ocean people, they were seen as little more than thugs used to help keep Mulmurth at bay. As a result of this precarious position, both her and her family were often rather isolated from the intrigue of the Royal Court, and she grew up spending much of her time reading books in her families libraries. She was a lonely child, with few playmates, but a smart one who from an early age showed a strong aptitude for magic. Her mother had died when she was young, leaving just her and her father, but her father always encouraged her to pursue it, as well as the whalers on the docks who she became friends with.
As her interest in magic grew, so too did her desire to attend Sir Whifflebottom's Academy of Arts and Magic. Her first year she was old enough to attend, she took the entrance exam and passed with flying colors, but was denied on the grounds that her family did not have enough money to send her. No believed that, the Allencrofts made plenty of money in whaling and fishing, but it was a convenient excuse to keep Whifflebottom's looking as prestigious as it was. The next year however, there was no way they could use the same excuse twice, especially as the Allencrofts now came equipped with stacks of bonds, gold and checks to make it so that there was no way they would not allow Anastasia in.
This time, with Anastasia now 17 years old, they accepted her, and she took the train to the school. The capitol was far larger and crazier than she ever expected, having come from a small estate in a small town, where local children and her families children could play together. Here, she found herself way out of her depth, and her country manners and simplistic view of life were viewed with contempt. Frustrated and angered by this, Anastasia did not easily fit in at Whifflebottom's, but refused to pack up and leave. She had dreamed of this place her entire life, and was determined to make it if it was the last thing she ever did. No one ever bullied her, especially after she threw a girl down a hallways with a blast of wind, toppling other students and tossing paintings off the walls. But they were never very friendly to her either. So Anastasia withdrew from them, and threw herself into her work, hoping to get a degree in Teletheurgy.
SOME EXTRA'S I DECIDED TO ADD (If you want me to get rid of them I will, I just figured they would be some nice little extra info.)
Theme Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKjtqJ- ... W&index=20
House Color's: Purple and black. The House Animal is the Raven, with the House Words being "Small And Brave, We Stand In The Dark."
Religion: Pantheon Worship. Her family in particular, as being essentially border guards and ocean people, are particularly fond of Excousia and Okeanos.

Is there an Enchantment Element?
