It has recently come to my attention that the German Democratic Republic has systematically slaughtered and deported Christians for money. As a civilized nation the GDR should see this as unacceptable and apologize for its actions, and repay the money it was payed in exchange for Christians. Until these demands are met, the Third Carrier Group will be dispatched to join the Lethen blockade forces. For the purposes of this mission the Third CG has been assigned the "Task Force Crusader" call sign. An ORBAT will be attached at the end of this Communique.

Official Statement from the Viceroy of the British Raj, Duke Vincent Mountbatten:

With the entry of The United Artherian Federation the conflict has continued to escalate, the blockade of the GDR becoming an ever tightening vise for transport of essential goods to the GDR and other Baltic/Atlantic states. This blockade is beginning to spiral into conflict with Raj and other allied relief ships being constantly harassed in the area. In light of this, I as Viceroy of the Raj urge caution and restraint to the other powers involved in this blockade. We as the great powers of the world cannot allow this to escalate further into an outright war. We must respect the sovereignty of the GDR and others and take a step back and consider that the actions we take could cause the greatest disaster that our nations have ever faced, a war so terrible that there would be no winners, only casualties.

I now have a proposal to all nations involved in this conflict, A conference within either the Raj or neutral territory to address the grievances of the world powers and to prevent an escalation of this conflict. I also propose a reduction of the armed blockade to decrease the likelihood of a confrontation between the participating nations.

Let us not hurtle towards the throes of war and death, but instead come together in mutral understanding and respect.
