A photographer at one of their shows took a picture of the vocalist (whose name I don't remember). She reposted it on her Instagram, leaving the watermark intact. Then, the clothing company that had designed her outfit reposted the pic to their Instagram, which the original photographer interpreted as being used to promote a product without compensation (which is pretty much what happened). He sent an e-mail to the company asking them to either pay him for its usage or to make a donation of a smaller amount to a cancer charity based in the Netherlands (where the photographer was from). At this point, Angela Gossow (who is now AE's manager) got involved, basically shot down the photographer and accused him of extortion, implied that photographers should not expect compensation for their work, and this whole shitstorm erupted.

AE is pretty much digging their own grave and ignoring literally everyone.



Ohhhhhhh, that's fair. I've always been really into Orthodoxy-inspired music, so it strikes a chord with me. That's understandable, though.

Since I wouldn't really count Circle the Wagons...it's got to be Dark Thrones and Black Flags.

Blackened crust? Young and in the Way (broken up since they're rapists which is a shame but still a great band from NC), Martyrdod, Dishammer, Wolvhammer, Fukpig (also blackgrind), Gallhammer, Welkin Dusk and Downfall of Gaia (if you want something with a bit of atmoblack and sludge mixed in).

12 shots and 2 beers later I was barely tipsy. It is so goddamn weird looking at my unusual tolerance for alcohol. I mean sure if i shotgunned those beers and slammed shots back i'd probably be comatose. All i needed was some pot to be set. I didn't even get those bolt thrower cds which really bummed me out.
