We are interested in scanning in your library to our electronic retrieval system. In exchange for the rights to use your intellectual property, we would create electronic files and print on demand workstations for the material in your libraries. This would include a full electronic index to all the scanned books, individual scanned books as e-books and machine readable audiobooks, as well as three work stations for each university library, and print on demand machines to make hardcover books. None of the books would be damaged in this process. You would keep all the original material. We would even include two scanning machines for free for you to keep.

OOC; This is basically a version of the Google Books Project with slightly more advanced technology. The main issues would be about intellectual property and how to pay the authors.
