People don't necessarily have to work together - you can be whatever you want to be, and feel free to telegram me about adding something using expansion points (you start with two) if what you want isn't already in the game.

Name: Hadrian Micos
Description:
Image
Doesnt have the pickaxe, and is dressed in simple civilian clothing
Biography: Hadrian grew up in a mining town, hailing from the more hilly regions of the Empire that still had ores to be extracted from the earth. His family being miners, it was inevitable that he would also take up the profession when he became of age. But the town where he lived always had a very... strained relationship with the nobles who didnt treat the workers well, riots becoming increasingly common as that sentiment bubbled and growed until finally being ignited by a plague that swept through the town, killing many. When the people of the town revolted, Hadrian took his leave and fled, wanting no part of it as the revolt was eventually quelled, leaving his home and becoming a prospector and mineral surveyor for anyone who would hire. That didnt last long though, as he heard of the New World and it colonists to tame this new frontier, he decided to go for it, hoping to start anew and strike it rich in the Wild Lands.
Skills: Experienced Miner, Martial Prowess, Prospector

IC will likely go up in around two hours, so here’s a brief overview of how actions and events will work.
If an action has a specified outcome (like the time it takes to cut down a tree) then you don’t need to wait for an outcome telegram from me - but if you’re trying to do something that doesn’t have a guaranteed outcome, I’ll telegram you with your success, failure, or somewhere in between.
Regardless of the type of action, you may receive a telegram from me detailing a special event that your character encounters over the course of the activity, the results of which you can choose to either recount in your next post or edit into the original - your choice. Let me know if you all have any questions.

I mean, no one-liners obviously, and I don't think it's too much to ask for a good paragraph at a minimum, but I can work with you if things get too busy.

Name: Petyor Vladislav
Description: A tall man, roughly built and stocky, with emerald eyes and black hair starting to go silver. His face bears numerous small scars and nicks, as do his hands. He wears his hair slightly long and shaggy, but not enough to obscure his vision, a full beard dominating much of his lower face. In the tattered leather jerkin of a Landser and slate gray trousers of a military cut he strikes an imposing figure in the ship full of frontiersmen.
Biography: Saved for IC soliloquy.
Skills:
Manager
Wealthy
Prospector

Will probably change this character later on to some extent.

Name: Peter Zimmerman
Description:
Image
Ignore the equipment.
Standing 6 ft tall, Peter is a robust figure, exuding a sense of dignity and responsibility which he doesn't have. His skin is slightly tanned, hinting at hours of labour in the sun.
Biography: Peter was born in a small town at the northeastern reaches of the Empire to a craftsman and his wife. With a brother and sister, he spent an uneventful life learning his father's trade and working for his family. At the age of 19, his father passed away from pneumonia, and he struggled to make ends meet with his brothers. To avoid the reality of his financial struggle, Zimmerman took on a nasty drinking habit.

To worsen matters, Zimmerman had a heated debate with the local bishop on political and theological matters where his tongue, loosened by alcohol, unveiled several unorthodox positions. Too late did he notice what slipped out of his mouth, and by the end of the week the whole village was convinced that he was a borderline heretic. With no money or honour left, the man cracked. Peter sold what few possessions he retained and embarked on a ship to the New World, where he hopes that a clean slate awaits him.
Skills:
Enduring, Knowledgeable Woodcutter & Silver Tongue.

New Content!
Basic Snare - A basic trapping snare can be made from Fiber - a bushel of fiber can be turned into two snares. A snare of natural fiber has a decent chance of failure, as all but the smallest of animals will be able to chew their way free. Minimal effect without some form of bait.
Deadfall Trap - A rock set propped atop a stick with bait beneath, a basic snare tied to the stick to trigger the trap. Requires an hour to find a suitable rock and stick. Minimal effect without bait.

Also, a note: I'm retroactively bumping the number of axes available to 4, since both G and I taking wealthy meant that each person won't necessarily get a tool if this rate continues. We're already out of pickaxes as is if Pax gets one :p
