It is with pleasure that I find myself sending this message to you, announcing the Compact's request to reopen our embassy in Kryotopia. The Senate has confirmed the Anax's pick of Jessabel Demna as High Commissioner to Kylarnatia, and a staff has been trained and prepared to take up their duties once they arrive. Enclosed with this communique is the relevant paperwork, security clearances, and declarations of regulated items. The Anax wish me to extend their thanks and gratitude, as well as that of the nation, once more. The losses incurred in the Duskflower Rebellion are still weighing on us all, as well as the loss of both Anax Yarikh and Bodeshmun. The reconstruction effort the Empire is putting in has helped many get off the streets as well as get access to food, water and medical supplies again.

As we move forward from this dark time, we are reminded of the bonds between our peoples, once hostile and indifferent, now to two cultures that recognize just how much they share, not how much they differ. It is with great pleasure that I received your application, requesting the establishment of an Embassy for the Royal Commonwealth of Leonnia in the Imperium Antiquum. We are excited to forge stronger ties with the Royal Commonwealth and pursue mutually beneficial ventures that benefit both of our peoples. My Caesar also shares your wish for greater inter-regional peace and cooperation, especially with the nations of Greater Dienstad in the wake of current events between the Golden Throne and the Scandinvans. Therefore, a strong relationship with a nation like the Royal Commonwealth is something the Imperium Antiquum desires: to that end, I'm delighted to inform you that your application has been accepted. The Department for Foreign and Imperial Affairs will be in touch again shortly to iron out the finer details of the exchange.

I look forward to welcoming Sir Carl Summerfield White and his, Lady White, here in Krytopia. The Caesar's Vigilum have been notified of your security arrangements, and you shall be notified of the further protections you'll be provided in due course. We're also glad that you intend to hire locally; should you need any assistance in this endeavour, a liaison can be arranged to help you with recruitment through the Department for Labour and Pensions.

I can also confirm that the Department for Foreign and Imperial Affairs is in the vetting process for an Ambassador to the Royal Commonwealth of Leonnia. Dear Secretary Lillian Bridon,

Thank you for your thread creation of 18 July 2018 allowing for a Parliamentary Confirmation into agreement of embassy exchange between Kylarnatia and the nineteen countries of the Yohannesian continent. I am also responding on behalf of the Rt Hon First Lord Hilda Von und Zu Hartjenstein and the Hon Minister Emily Kirchweger to whom I report on the matter.

The Ancient Empire of Kylarnatia and the nineteen countries, with no lack of certainty, share the same values of embassy and consulate partnership; of responsible governance; and a history of open diplomacy: three important things to realising a harmonious relationship between two nation states. I have also been impressed by the good manner of the Kylarnatian people during my visit to the thriving city of Isna. Finally, I would like to acknowledge the strength that you have shown, and are showing, in furthering the economic and social well-being of your people. Your governing principles align well with the eighth introductory principle of Economy and Industry of our nation state. That is why I am committed to realising this embassy exchange agreement.

Following on the discussion and meeting held by our respective diplomats behind the scene over the last few weeks, I would like to clarify that parliament did finally issue their assent on 5 August 2018, Parliamentary Motions — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary: Ancient Empire of Kylarnatia, which confirmed the letter of credence of Ms Greta Schönbeck in her place as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the nineteen countries in Kylarnatia. A copy of the Executive Council’s response and parliament’s final assent and report of stipulations in their entirety will be published on the Electoral Debates Hansard website shortly.

I am keen to encourage Yohannesian businesses to participate in the Kylarnatian market. As I will propose during our meeting, I note that new commerce and trade between companies of our respective citizen sectors may offer new opportunities to maintain our respective nation states’ growth target for the fiscal year 2018-2019.

I would like to finish by acknowledging the important contribution Her Majesty the Empress Silvier Catherina the Fourth is making to the cause of open diplomacy and the principle of open embassy exchange between members of the international community of nation states and regions. It is with great pleasure that I received your application, requesting the establishment of an Embassy of the Confederate States to the Imperium Antiquum. My Caesar and I share your hope for a brighter future, and we're confident that our nations will be able to form quite a close and mutually beneficial bond going forward, especially as your nation is a fellow Gothic state. To that end, I'm glad to inform you that your application has been accepted. The Department for Foreign and Imperial Affairs will be in touch again shortly to iron out the finer details of the exchange.

I look forward to receiving the Hon. Mr. Isaac Spence here in Krytopia. The Caesar's Vigilum have been notified of the compound's security arrangements and shall be in contact shortly to organise further protections.

International Customs have been notified of your declaration, and your goods will be registered and transferred to the Embassy accordingly upon the arrival of the Ambassador. Should the Ambassador wish to adopt locally instead, there are a number of cat and dog shelters with which we can put his staff in contact with who would be thrilled to hear from them.

I can also confirm that the Department for Foreign and Imperial Affairs is in the vetting process for an Ambassador to the Confederate States of Anagonia. As soon as they're chosen and you're ready to receive our application we will set about establishing our own embassy with you.
