Moving on. Going from what Bombadil said, we could, theoretically, actually just give Trump the funding for his wall late in 2019 knowing that it couldn't be built by the time Trump's out of office, but that presumes that he'd lose in 2020. Also, a lot of Progressive groups would pillory Congress for it despite administrative realities.

With Mattis leaving unless Trump picks someone in his image the possibility of a war or even a nuclear war is no longer out of the realm of possibility. Trump just wants yes men and if he decides to drop a nuke on Tehran they will just approve it.

Hes not getting funding for his wall in a Democratic house.

I heard Mattis got fired.

Hopefully he marches on DC and overthrows Congress and POTUS.

Why would you give Syria away to Russia, compromising our foreign power?

As I said though, if it can't even start for about two years, it could happen if more voters were aware of how the intricacies work, but they don't.

Or Congress could impeach him but you'd never get the 67 votes required in the Senate. Something truly beyond horrible has to happen but by then it might be too late.

Heard from where? Link please.
What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? Or if during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? The Organs would quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!

I mean, impeachment isn't the biggest of the troubles.

Tbf we should have been working with Assad and Russia to begin with in that theater. The rebels were always going to fail and it's much more in our interest to have at least somewhat working nations in the area.

Literally everywhere lol. Mattis was apparently pissed over this Syria thing, he went to the White House and then the White House says he "resigned". It's blatantly obvious Trump was mad he didn't agree and fired him.

It kind of is for him. The cold truth is that, because of the concept of executive privilege, Trump, or more accurately the president, is effectively above the law. Only impeachment or an unfitness declaration can remove him, and neither are likely.

Huh, Mattis lasted far longer than I thought he would. Even if it is primarily because of Trumps flailing idiot approach to foreign and military policy, I imagine part of him is glad to get out while his dignity and reputation are still intact. No small feat in this burning clown car of an Administration.

Still, depressing to imagine who might replace him, Trumps fantasies of being the big tough military President isn't likely to want another General who makes him look like the pathetic little bitch he is telling him 'No' again.

Personally id like to start to see the military defying him such as an order do launch a nuclear missile they just flat out say no or the person with the nuclear football breaks it in front of him
