Statement on the Pacific Restoration Coalition

The Pacific Restoration Coalition (PRC) is and has always been an individual, extra-regional project, and it has no affiliation whatsoever with Pacifica or with any of the other regions at war with the New Pacific Order (NPO). Nonetheless, recent confirmed reports of unacceptable behavior by the PRC are concerning. It has been confirmed that the PRC allowed the blacklisted individual Saint Block to participate in its December 15 "practice session" jump into St Abbaddon, and moreover that Saint Block's region, Amestris, was allowed an official military role in the PRC. While it was encouraging to see Galiantus, the founder of the PRC, reverse course and remove Saint Block and Amestris from the PRC, the initial decision to permit their presence cannot be forgotten. It has now also been confirmed that the PRC allowed a fascist known as The Legion of Mankind to participate in a December 18 major update operation involving St Abbaddon, and that this fascist was given the "Military Rep" role, recognizing him as an official military representative of his fascist region, Monarchist and Democratic Alliance, to the PRC. This is wholly unacceptable.

A firm anti-fascist policy was established for Pacifica by its Founder, Topid, a longtime native and former Delegate of St Abbaddon. Topid established as an overarching rule for Pacifica that neither Pacifica nor its members will cooperate, assist, or collaborate on any level with fascist regions or individuals. We in Pacifica have no doubt that Topid would be outraged to see a fascist permitted to participate in any military operation involving his home region, St Abbaddon, and as a regional community Pacifica is outraged to witness the PRC's reprehensible cooperation with a fascist individual and his fascist region.

Consistent with our unyielding anti-fascist policy, Pacifica unequivocally disavows the outrageous and unacceptable behavior of the PRC. Pacifica will not under any circumstances work with the PRC in the future, and all residents of Pacifica are strongly discouraged from any further collaboration with the PRC. Pacifica urges Galiantus to disband the PRC and encourages well-meaning individuals who wish to join the war effort against the NPO to do so under the banner of the Anti-Pacific Coalition (APC), the multi-regional war effort overseen by responsible regional leaders from several major regions at war with the NPO. Following the unacceptable inclusion of blacklisted individuals and regions in the PRC's operations, it is clear that the PRC should no longer enjoy anyone's trust to conduct a responsible and principled war effort against the NPO. While all of us fighting against the tyranny of the NPO hope for and are working toward victory, we must never abandon our principles, especially principles related to the safety of our communities and others throughout NationStates, in order to achieve victory. The responsible, principled, experienced regional leaders who comprise the organizers of the APC understand that, and it is they who must lead the war effort. The PRC must fade away into the ignominious footnote in NationStates history that it has earned for itself.

This is a correct decision. TRI will promptly take similar actions for the same reasons, along with some additional reasoning consistent with our own policies.

I will close down the PRC, but only on the condition that the APC orchestrates an update operation of similar vision as my own on New Year's Eve or thereabouts. I am just experimenting over here to see if a massive update raid is possible, I fully support all the efforts of the APC, and I am deeply troubled by the lack of appreciation of help wherever it comes from. Humor me for a day, get as many updaters out as possible, and see what we can do. In fact, y'all can choose points, or push things back by up to a week. I highly recommend Cormac as a point, by the way, because despite our disagreement, I do not doubt his loyalty to the cause.

While I don't speak for anybody, this seems like a good compromise to me.

In any case, I find the idea of a resolution as suggested above quite agreeable, so long as no fascists or otherwise problematic characters are invited to such a jump.

That's not go to work as even if you have the link, the discord is monitored preventing acess to sensitive areas. You need someone to vouch for you. It's only as compared to as a person gaining acess to Libcord without being in a defense military

I've gotcha covered! APC's methods and goals are different than PRC's were, and we're running it a bit more... selectively, but just about anyone is welcome to join in except a few regions and individuals who have done things to make themselves unwelcome.

I should maybe make an APC post or something. But then how would I work from relative anonymity and live a happy life?
