Should we vote against the World Assembly proposal "WA Outer Space Treaty"? It would seem unfitting to have a global nuclear disarmament for the sole purpose of sharing outer space. If anything, we should be encouraging space races and racing to achieve technological advancement in order to claim regions of outer space.
If let's say a situation arises when a nation steps into a region of space that another nation has claimed, shouldn't the latter nation be able to defend itself with WMD's? How should this be tackled when territorial boundaries won't even be allowed to carry defenses - the appropriate defense should be WMD's.
I suggest that the given proposal be REJECTED and deemed irrelevant for reasons that it does not provide alternative countermeasures to defend a nation in acts of war - especially given the fact that the topic of outer space relates to a vast and endless region up for claiming.
