Kato Van's national animal is the elephant, which represents the old and fair federal government, but the federal government has been shattered and rebuilt after the 2nd Kato Vanian civil war. i've been thinking of putting olive branches in the center of the flag surrounding stars representing the Vanian islands, which have always been underrepresented.

The Melvonian Sloth frolics freely, and slowly, in our nation's many lush forests, on the rare occasions when it does anything at all. Mostly they just dangle around, staring into space, chewing on a leaf.
The likable but useless sloth is, for obvious reasons, cherished in Melvonia as a symbol of our national attitude to most things.
The Melvonian sloth is strictly protected in law. As a nation, we are instinctively kind to animals (at least, the non-delicious animals) and go to great lengths to protect them. Eleven years ago keeping wild animals captive in zoos was outlawed in Melvonia, so the keepers of the Epoche City Zoological Park decided to replace the sloths in their main exhibit with lifesize sloth plushies from the gift shop. They remain uneasy that visitors might notice one day.

Looks like some of the larger dragons found in the remote parts of Equestria, though ours come in all shapes and colors.

The dragon was chosen as Equestria's national animal just because it was the biggest and fiercest creature we know of--honestly, these things are TERRIFYING when they get full-grown! Younger ones seem more easy to communicate with, and so we're currently in the process of developing diplomatic relations with the Dragon lands by talking to its youth. Apparently us choosing them as our NA was considered quite amusing to them, which helps matters a lot.

Appalachia's national animal is the black bear, which is prevalent in forests throughout the nation.

The national animal of Ungvarnfjall is the legendary Dragon, which is a beast perpetuated in many stories as great, violent beasts that hold supreme knowledge, as well as destructive tendencies, which represents the duality of Ungvarnfjall; we are both a realm of great wealth, knowledge and peace, as well as one with great strength and influence.

We have several "national" animals, including serpents, bears, black cats, toads, ravens, and owls. Yes, all of those animals are considered treasured symbols of the Cult of the Black Beast.

Libereco kaj Pacos national animal is dogs (hundo). Everyone in LkP likes dogs and sees dogs as loyal, friendly and deserving of love. 40% of people live with dogs and it is common to see dogs walk outside next to their companions without a leash because they are well trained. There are no stray dogs and no one abuses animals in LkP.

Zhouran does not have a national animal, however the country is generally symbolized in the form of a wolf, most commonly in the form of a Qiyue Yangzhuokelun (Putonghua: 奇岳 杨卓克伦; Ancient Zhouranese: Ciyo Yanjokuulun), commonly known as the Zhouranese Great Battle Wolf. It often was and is used by Westerners, originated in British caricatures and later also used in the United States, and not always in a flattering context in order to dehumanize the country and its people – on occasion it can be used to imply that the "Zhouranese Wolf" is nothing but "sly, cruel, savage, vicious and cunning".

In Zhouran, associations with the image of the wolf have received relatively mixed reactions from people. While Zhouranese people do appreciate the symbolism of the wolf especially since wolves are regarded as sacred in Zhouranese culture, on the other hand, the overuse of the image of the wolf by foreigners has led to the image of wolves being a sort of insider joke, postulating that "the streets of an average Zhouranese town or city are full of wolves" as an example of factually inaccurate information about Zhouran.

The Imperial Animal is the Vannish Lion. It is a large species of lion known for its crystal white fur and light eyes. A highly trained force of environmental police protect the lion and various protected species. The Vannish Lion stays mostly around Imperial Hills and a Northern set of wild grasslands to the North.

Poaching attempts often lead to an almost military style response. The population has been shrinking due to declines in migrating populations due to corporate expansion.

The Vannish Lion is also the symbol of the Imperial Royal family.

New Gazi is located in Northwest Africa. The coastal nation meets the Sahara Desert. Just south of that lay many miles of grasslands and a rich jungle that meets the border of its neighbor. The Gazilian Savannah is home to the Grassland sabercat. It is a stealthy hunter which sits at the top of the food chain. Species such as leopards have been driven near extinction by a rise in sabercat population.

The male of the species is known for the thin mane around its jawline.

As represented on our coat of arms, in the sinister side the eagle(Pithecophaga jefferyi) is our national animal because it is native to our country and it symbolises the long history of royalty and strength of Eastern Mindanao

The national animal of The Fordines is the Fordin Greater Porpoise. When the nation was first colonized in the 1700s and early 1800s, many government officials believed that the animal was simply an already discovered variety of the porpoise, and listed the national animal as just that: the porpoise. However, in 1846, the renowned Fordin naturalist Stepa So’lin confirmed that it was, indeed, a new species. The Fordin Greater Porpoise is known for looking deceptively like a porpoise, however it is more often white than grey and it is host to slightly larger eyes. They also tend to be even more plump, which seems impossible, but I assure you, it is not.

At one point there was also a Fordin Lesser Porpoise, but it was slowly killed by its main predator, the Rather Large Happy and Fun Fish, which was intruding upon our waters from the nearby nation of Happy-Happy Fun-Funs.
