Nevertheless, Suleiman charmed some with his knack for poetry and song, and often busied himself aiding civilians or helping people whenever he wasn't drilling.
Deciding that the timbre needed to be refined later, Suleiman focused largely on rumors of the Slick Wells petroleum workers, who were trained to maintain economic stability in the area and the combating of oil fires. Something he hoped wouldn't be a common occurrence.

Ausinia wrote:“Ma’am, it has come to our attention that a foreign power has come to unnecessary hostilities with Isratine”, Skylar’s aid said to her walking into her office.
“Is that so?” She asked.
“Yes”
“Very well, send a division of troops, with accompanying Armor and all other military required. Remember, this is for peace keeping, protect and evacuate all civilians we can.”
“Yes Ma’am”, he said. The aid, Jeremy Woods went back to his office and made many long, and important calls.
He managed to round up a fleet of ten corvettes and a couple of destroyers. He wanted it clear that Ausinia wasn’t messing around. He also managed regiment of Fighter craft, 200 helicopters, a battalion of MBTs, and 100 Self-propelled Artillery. All to arrive within a month or two, in the mean time, a Platton of MBTs and a battling of Troops were sent quickly for minor defence and patrol.

"A-salaam aleykum," Sully politely waited for the song to finish, "I know these false faranji are hoping the occupy the City of Da'ud(PBUH). Perhaps we can lure the forces away from the densly occupied areas." he looked reverently upon the aged mosque "By the Creator's design do these buildings still stand as testimony. But I do not wish to tempt fate..."

"I plan that by-get down!!" Suleiman would scream be for tackling the nearest person into the ground. Once the plane had made it's sweep, and the rubble cleared, Suleiman would introduce the nearby infantry to a wide array of Persian swearing. "Where the blazes is our AA? How come the alarm didn't sound?! I want marksmen on the most secure rooftops, a clear communication to whoever was asleep at the entrance, and an evac order issued for any remaining civilians." he barked at a series of nearby commanders, before turning to to his newest conversation partner "Do you know if anyone is trapped in the rubble?"

Most had dodge but one man was trapped in the rubble, an Al Saranidi plane had shot the Crusader plane down.
"Yes there is a man in the rubble" they said as they are trying to dig him out and save him with relative success. Some Al Saranidi soldiers and other Ayyubidian soldiers as well as an Isratinian Platoon began to help them and he managed to get out.
Losses: 30 people.

"Dann it!" Sully shouted "Where is my comn line?! Why hasn't intelligence given us a heads up about-?" his fuming turns into frustrated grunts as Sully aided in the digging out of the man. "Secure the most affected areas, get our people on Yellow Alert, and get me and the Command a line with our forward patrols. Let's not let them get the jump on us again..."

They followed his orders, the man had been dug out and Marshal Saladin Khan of Ayyubidia called the Ayyubidian Airforce to assist them.

Now having a moment to calm down and assess the situation, he paced like a caged animal. How the Crusaders could so easily attack such a historic target so quickly and without alarm was worrying, and his mind gradually concocted even more terrible scenarios of moles, generally incompetent soldiers, or the fact he underestimated the Crusader's tenacity. He re-read the letter from Fatimah, while not the first (for Sully made sure to tell he did his travels, and life in the army, as well as bombarding the Guild with a request for status reports.), and recollecting his thoughts, he decided to prioritise fixing the evident gaps in his defense and intelligence system.
As well as promptly heading towards whoever was responsible for keeping the Holy City safe, to chew them out.

May this letter find you well, for the battles here are just beginning. I ask in advance for your forgiveness in late replies, for war zones make for poor postal services. I would also humbly request Your Father to withhold any plans of reception, until I return to you safely, if he even approved of this arrangement to begin with.
The Crusaders are wily, having struck us with a lonely bomber. Casualties are minimal, but the fact that such an attack happened so swiftly weighs upon my soul. It is truly wise in saying that "glory be to the jihad and the mujahadeen, for there is little glory in war.
May the Almighty grant us continued safety of the City of Revealations, and may he close the distance between us even now.
- A fellow servant,
Suleiman

The Ausinian Commwealth
First strike by hostile forces, destroying a mosque
By Jamie Hawkings
Crusader forces have striked for the first time, today. This comes just after the arrival of the first Ausinian troops. A mosque was hit by a bomber from an enemy plane. While the intentions of the target are unclear, most assume it was a direct hit. To much gratitude, military personnal where on scene when it happened, and where able to call for back up. Ausinian medics arrived swiftly and helped the survivors. Only an estimated 9% of casualties died as a opposed to the possible 40% mortality rate.
The Republican Party are still arguing against the engagement of ‘clearly barbaric’ forces, though PM Skylar Heathrow is certain that ‘this is the best course of action for the protection of Jerusalem and Isratine.
