What about it? Lightning Magic isn't considered one of the Four Common Elements due to how difficult it is for a mage to learn it, and it's incredibly rare to find someone who has a natural affinity for Lightning Magic. Even the Allegrodo, a family of mages with a few notable Lightning Mages (such as Dyfores Allegrodo and several of his ancestors) still has not seen a lightning mage for several generations. But if you want to make a character with Lightning Magic, that's totally fine with me.

Perhaps an oversight, but how does Darian know of the Black Phoenix? It's not a historic group (was founded maybe 7 years ago at the earliest?) and it's incredibly secretive, like the most info anyone knows of it aside from two people outside its ranks (the emperor and Adelina) is pure rumor that there is a group of powerful mages that serve the emperor.

I WOULD have Darian do that, but sadly the Protectors are about spreading knowledge and that would prevent that.

Healing Hands: Able to mend injuries of all but the most grave kind by physically touching and applying her spell through contact to the individual. This also greatly lessens the pain of the individual and makes them feel as though they are in a warm embrace. It does not work on illnesses.
Blood Network: Blood Network allows Alune to create a connection between her body and another effectively manipulating the blood in another's body. Typically used by Alune to remove poisons or toxins, or help to stem the flow of blood to an injury. Could be used to easily harm or kill in extremely painful fashion. Requires user to be within a few feet and to have an open injury and get their own blood onto target.
Home brewed Remedy: Her blood has a naturally expedited healing property and if ingested by others can temporarily increase the speed injuries or illnesses heal by a sizable margin.
Blood Control: Using blood she sheds from her own body, Alune is able to create weapons and other items, rarely used by her do to the strain on her body.
Fire Magic: Very basic Fire spells, primarily for self defense.
Limitations (what are the restrictions on your character’s abilities?): Her abilities are Bloodline Magic and thus only passed on through her family. Utilizing her blood can obviously lead to health issues, causing her to have a rather frail appearance do to the burden her spells place on the body.

Biography: Born to the last Generation of House Silenor, a once powerful noble family, Alune grew up watching her house practically be erased from society. Due to her now deceased grandfather's attempts at strengthening their family he managed to gain many powerful enemies which quickly joined together in slandering the Silenor Family. Spurred by her grandfather's failure at aggressive attempts to strengthen the family's power base as well as fueled by the slander of influential persons throughout the nation, the Silenor family found itself repeatedly sanctioned for slights both real and imagined. By the time Alune was twelve most of her cousins and extended family had either cut all ties or in fact died sometimes in less than peaceful means. As companies once bound to the family began pulling out of supporting their long time investors the Silenor family found itself quickly having to sell off land and property that had been with their family for generations leaving them all but destitute for a house of their stature. Turning more and more to less reputable means to try and maintain his grand lifestyle Alune's grandfather forced the few remaining members of her family into tougher and tougher binds, culminating in an arrangement of Alune to marry a minor nobleman nearly three times her age. Enraged her parents and elder siblings finally removed her grandfather from his position and attempted to dissolve the contract between Alune and her elder suitor. Sadly the inslut to the nobleman led to a violent fight which took the life of both Alune's father and elder brother.
Shortly following her fourteenth birthday, Alune's elder sister passed away from overusing her abilities having fallen ill for several months following the conflict with another house. Though free from her engagement, Alune remained certain it was her fault that her father and sibling's deaths occurred. Sadly the year would once again end poorly for her family, as driven with grief her mother murdered her grandfather and was killed when authorities attempted to arrest her for the crime.
Having nothing at home Alune has thrown herself into her studies and training of magic over the last year and a half. Badgered repeatedly by many who still believe the many rumors spread regarding her family's abilities being just shy of dark magic. She has been forced to work hard to achieve her goals to restore her family name and make others realize her worth both in magic and society.

History: House Silenor is an old though historically minor house. Originally situated in a remote area geographically it remained neutral to the conflicts outside it's lands for as long as possible. When the Unification wars were nearing their end, the house chose best to side with those nearing victory simply to remain out of any of the victor's sights. Largely spending much of the time away from the limelight and in a far more business oriented manner accumulating a not so small amount of wealth by investing and backing many organizations primarily those that would later support the military.
Sadly within a single generation this would all fall apart, as Crisior Silenor made blunder after blunder leading to the household being ostracized and ridiculed across much of the political and social spectrum. With it's damaged reputation Silenor quickly lost control of nearly all their investments and further worsened by the actions of the incompetent Crisior fell into near ruin. In a bid to solidify a new form of support Crisior promised his thirteen year old grand daughter Alune to a friend of his Ozodor Druton who lacked an heir to his own family a rather disgusting and elderly man roughly the same age as Crisior. Hoping to bind his family to the still reputable Druton family, Crisior effectively sold his grandaughter for control over a trading company renamed Silenor Merchantmen.
Unluckily for Crisior this would be the last straw for his family as his son and daughter-in-law Idel and Okora assumed control of the family and dissolved the contract between the two houses. Enraged Ozodor and a band of hired thugs marched into the family manor in Kalingway leading to a violent clash were Ozodor, as well as Idel and his son were killed. With the incident being blamed on the Silenor family they were sanctioned by the government officially, losing both face and a large amount of money.
Sadly a few months after the incident with the Druton house, the heir to the Silenor family Alore finally succumbed to her illness contracted following her overuse of her family abilities. Heartbroken from the loss and blaming it on her Father-in-law, Okora tortured and killed the former house head Crisior and was soon after killed herself when resisting arrest for the murder. This left Alune alone as the sole heir and head of House Silenor at nearly fifteen. She has led the house composed only of herself since then.

lightning bolt: she fires a bolt of lightning OC: it turns into a wave attack, which activates therapy on the target
therapy: therapy is a shock therapy that she can use to make he target quickly go insane and make more reckless mistakes, it also causes horrible hallucination. OC: the hallucination become almost real
healing zone: she activates a healing area around her, healing her and anyone inside it AOE
healing focus: she focuses her power into one point of healing
healing dagger: stabbing the obsidian dagger into the target and quickly take a portion of health and returns it back to the user

Biography:the young doctor, a master with electricity, she used it to try and cure all mental diseases. but time and time again she failed, but she started taking enjoyment in her patients suffering. the people soon began to raise up and they killed her. but the old man Thanatos took it on himself to resurrect her, binding her to him, letting her take her vengeance. she drove everyone insane to eventually cause them to kill each other and their selves. she thanked the old man and told her that she may continue to live by joining him or die here. she took his offer and lived to learn how to make her electricity an absolute terror.

Biography:a time not too long ago there lived a tribe of cannibals. they raided town taking people in the middle of the night, they kept on none stop. one day the tribe chief wife gave birth to a young boy who the sage of the village called him the great devourer, a wendigo, the very being they praised. but that day would be their downfall, a group of elite knights slaughtered the tribe, the chieftain wife took her child and ran deep in the forest, but not before she got mortally wounded. she was bleeding a lot and she could hear hounds in the distance behind her. she ran and ran till she ran into a dark and tall being, it face wrapped in bandages. she fell to the ground in terror but he it didn't attack her. it helped her up causing her to wince due to the wound, she soon heard the dogs and try to give the baby to the being. he denied at first until he heard the dogs. she took off her mask, one made of bone and gave it to him, then kissed the child on his forehead, she then pointed off in the distance to tell them to run. she turned around and pulled out her knife, she looked back for a second but they were gone. she charged forth to her death, but she did not go quietly into that night. thanatos raised the young child teaching him how to fight and how to sharpen his abilities.

Magic/Abilities (if any):
Astral Chains: Kishi can summon and manipulate chains made from pure magic, the chains can change temperature (Freezing to Boiling without his full power) and they can also pierce through materials such as iron. (The range is approximately 25 meters)
Sensory Links: Using his Astral Chains he can sense magic energy (The radius is approximately 25 meters)
Imposing Aura: When revealing his full magic power anyone who within 10 feet of him will feel a strong sense of fear, it can be resisted but it take a strong will power.
Limitations (what are the restrictions on your character’s abilities?): Kishi's abilities were sealed at a young age which dampens his ability to change their temperature and also prevents them from reaching beyond the 25 meter radius. Even though his magic is restricted he can still use his full power but it will drain his stamina and mana within 10 minutes of use. As for the amount of chains He can summon up to four, their main limit is the range but they can also be tangled and broken, which will force Kishi ro resommon and extend them. The chains also need to have at least one chain link inside a five foot radius.

Biography: Kishi was born in a small village between Dacryn and Kalingway. He was the son of the local blacksmith a very talented man. His esoteric abilities were discovered on his third birthday when a web of chains shot through the house and nearly killed four villagers. His mother, who was one of the local priestesses put a holy seal on his powers which restricted him from using them at full strength. The people of the village feared Kishi's power and tried to stay away from him when he was emotionally distressed. When he was eight he met a girl, her name was Shizu Yasuri. She wasn't a mage or anything, but she wasn't afraid of his power. Shizu and Kishi grew up together for several years, through thick and thin they stuck together. Shizu was a year older than Kishi who was now fifteen and it was her last day as a "youth" in the village so Kishi went by himself to go get her a gift from one of the merchant caravans the pass by on occasion. It was nightfall as he approached the village, gift in hand. When Kishi entered the sightline of the village he saw flames lick the roofs of the buildings. He broke into a sprint and saw that the village was being raided, women kidnapped and men killed, he ran through the village to the place where the ceremony would have taken place and he didn't find anyone. He ran through the village until he was met with a traumatic sight, his best friend holding a longsword covered in blood and standing over several dead raiders. He ran towards her but after several steps she fell down and was swooped up by a raider. Kishi fell to his knees, tears running down his face. Several raiders equipped with blades and magic surrounded him and laughed, mocking him. Kishi's body was quickly entangled in purple chains that wrapped tightly to his flesh. The chains that wrapped him began to heat up and sear his flesh, his cries of sorrow turned to agony. The raiders who surrounded him were confused greatly by this and did not attack. Slowly the burning stopped, the chains rooted to his skin. Kishi stood up, the chains had faded but the burns remained. The raiders looked at the young mans red face, it was stained red in tears. Kishi raised his hand and unleashed his pure aura which caused all of the raiders to freeze in fear. Then one by one Kishi used his chains to tear each raider apart. The raider who took Shizu was nowhere to be found.
Many of years have passed since the incident at his village, and Kishi has taken on the title The Knight in Chains, he wears a wooden mask that he made in the likes of Shizu's favorite mask. Kishi travels the lands in search of raiders and others who would harm innocent people to kill them in the name of Shizu, who's name si burned into his flesh. If anyone tries to block his path, innocent or not, he removes them by force.
Additional Information (anything else you want to say?):When using his full power his chain's reach quadruples and the temperature he can make the will do the same, his aura is unaffected

Biography:a time not too long ago there lived a tribe of cannibals. they raided town taking people in the middle of the night, they kept on none stop. one day the tribe chief wife gave birth to a young boy who the sage of the village called him the great devourer, a wendigo, the very being they praised. but that day would be their downfall, a group of elite knights slaughtered the tribe, the chieftain wife took her child and ran deep in the forest, but not before she got mortally wounded. she was bleeding a lot and she could hear hounds in the distance behind her. she ran and ran till she ran into a dark and tall being, it face wrapped in bandages. she fell to the ground in terror but he it didn't attack her. it helped her up causing her to wince due to the wound, she soon heard the dogs and try to give the baby to the being. he denied at first until he heard the dogs. she took off her mask, one made of bone and gave it to him, then kissed the child on his forehead, she then pointed off in the distance to tell them to run. she turned around and pulled out her knife, she looked back for a second but they were gone. she charged forth to her death, but she did not go quietly into that night. thanatos raised the young child teaching him how to fight and how to sharpen his abilities.

Even though his magic is restricted he can still use his full power but it will drain his stamina and mana within 10 minutes of use.

The people of the village feared Kishi's power and tried to stay away from him when he was emotionally distressed. When he was eight he met a girl, her name was Shizu Yasuri. She wasn't a mage or anything, but she wasn't afraid of his power. Shizu and Kishi grew up together for several years, through thick and thin they stuck together. Shizu was a year older than Kishi who was now fifteen and it was her last day as a "youth" in the village so Kishi went by himself to go get her a gift from one of the merchant caravans the pass by on occasion. It was nightfall as he approached the village, gift in hand. When Kishi entered the sightline of the village he saw flames lick the roofs of the buildings. He broke into a sprint and saw that the village was being raided, women kidnapped and men killed, he ran through the village to the place where the ceremony would have taken place and he didn't find anyone. He ran through the village until he was met with a traumatic sight, his best friend holding a longsword covered in blood and standing over several dead raiders. He ran towards her but after several steps she fell down and was swooped up by a raider. Kishi fell to his knees, tears running down his face. Several raiders equipped with blades and magic surrounded him and laughed, mocking him. Kishi's body was quickly entangled in purple chains that wrapped tightly to his flesh. The chains that wrapped him began to heat up and sear his flesh, his cries of sorrow turned to agony. The raiders who surrounded him were confused greatly by this and did not attack. Slowly the burning stopped, the chains rooted to his skin. Kishi stood up, the chains had faded but the burns remained. The raiders looked at the young mans red face, it was stained red in tears. Kishi raised his hand and unleashed his pure aura which caused all of the raiders to freeze in fear. Then one by one Kishi used his chains to tear each raider apart. Many of years have passed since the incident at his village, and Kishi has taken on the title The Knight in Chains, he wears a wooden mask that he made in the likes of Shizu's favorite mask. Kishi travels the lands in search of raiders and others who would harm innocent people to kill them in the name of Shizu, who's name si burned into his flesh. If anyone tries to block his path, innocent or not, he removes them by force.

Biography:the young doctor, a master with electricity, she used it to try and cure all mental diseases. but time and time again she failed, but she started taking enjoyment in her patients suffering. the people soon began to raise up and they killed her. but the old man Thanatos took it on himself to resurrect her, binding her to him, letting her take her vengeance. she drove everyone insane to eventually cause them to kill each other and their selves. she thanked the old man and told her that she may continue to live by joining him or die here. she took his offer and lived to learn how to make her electricity an absolute terror.

Astral Chains is definitely a very powerful ability. However, I don't see it becoming an issue where it has to be toned down, but I have some questions. How many chains can he summon at once, and what is the limit on summoned chains? Besides that, I wanted to say that I really like Kishi's backstory. It kind of made me sad tbh
