So I'm going to guess your race survived a nuclear Holocaust but is still affected by the radiation to this day, am I correct?

How do you know which pops can work which jobs? Currently it seems that Robots can work mining and farming, but they aren't filling up the spare Clerk jobs, despite them being in the same Stratum. I can find any tool tips anywhere.

Um.... well... I got MegaCorp installed um... so I couldn't do the same companies I had been doing; EcoTech and RobCo... and still haven't thought of how to fully convert ServiTech over to the new authority type.... but um... I know it'll involve Indentured Assets.

But I was able to keep MegaCorp, and what do you know the Slick Corporation advisor mentions MegaCorp so YEAH! Also... the Gerb- Gerlgb -- what ever- are the same as a race I had already made as a custom build (in all but name) so I was able to do away with it and keep this preset instead (no need for two of the same).

... So I made MegaCorp 'size' oriented (because MEGA). It's got the Franchising and Trading Posts civics and is Pacifist for an even higher Administrative Cap.

.... I was tempted to create Buy N Large on Earth (from WALL-E) but- I have not yet done so.

So um... it's fitting too- since the President of Buy N Large was also President of Earth.

Who thinks Buy-N-Large is a great idea for a Stellaris build? And what civics would you give it? Band Loyalty? How about Ethics?

I can agree that they are certainly not spiritualist- with AI being allowed.

I'd say that based on how their probe (EVE)'s programmed response to potential life is hostile (based on her firing a lethal weapon at what was at the time only a noise) that such hints to some level of xenophobia... maybe...

Seeing how in that one board meeting visual they talked about the shrinking real estate market and rising profits (one rising the other falling) that you are dead on- they are Ruthless Capitalist.

Their desire for a captive audiance (as such is called in the market) also puts them as you have stated as being Authoritarian- geared at guidning thier ... um... customers into latter life with an instilled Band Loyalty.

So we have for certain;

Authoritarian Ethic

Corporate Authority

Band Loyalty Civic.

The rest is a bit uncertain- but I do have Xenophobia currently on the table and you do have materialist currently on the table (B N L is your god, sell, buy, consume- BNL - this is a robot).

After some thought I've got the Ethics.

While they seem to have been focused on the Civilian Market, their first contact protocols are hostile.

Thus I can't say they are Pacifist nor Militarist- but rather Xenophobic.

So I've to Authoritarian, Xenophobe, Materialist.

Nah I think the xenophobia come from Auto and it's directive to preserve Humanity so Just Authoritarian Materialist- Fanatic Materialist.

Okay, so it looks like unemployed pops will automatically fill the empty jobs prioritising the higher Stratum jobs before the lower ones.

I get that it's a new and pretty complex system, but they aren't giving me much to work with here.

It seems that workers create base resources (minerals, energy credits, food, amenities, etc), specialists take resources and transfer them into other resources (minerals into consumer goods, consumer goods into research, etc), and administrators jobs are so rare that I've only seen them created by the capital buildings. I've also noticed that pops tend to fill the highest strat available by default, so if you have open specialist jobs some of your workers will be promoted to fill those vacancies (with new pops/immigrants filling in the vacancies in the worker stratum).

As for robots I would presume the more primitive kinds might be limited to jobs that produce food/minerals, but I don't know. I'd check species rights/policies tabs to make sure it's not some new job limiting feature.
