With permission from OP via telegram, I am joining this RP, obviously supporting the Communist rebels, probably working with Bulgar Rouge in doing so.

Cedoria is located in North Asia, thus has perfect reason to want the Imperialists out of Singapore and Hong Kong, and willing to aid Beijing in their removal.

Mostly I'll be doing supply and recon support for the rebels, with maybe a few on-the-ground intel ops causing havoc or supporting rebel operations as well, we'll see how things develop, but given the conditions, Cedoria will probably keep this conflict asymmetric to minimise cost and potential casualties to itself.

I'll be posting here and messaging OP as things develop if I think of interesting or unexpected things to do to give the RP a bit of flavour such as bombings, cyber-attacks, key assassinations, etc, but I won't do anything without consultation and permission, so keep an eye out for those things.

First post should be up once I have time to write it, in the next day or so:)

Sure, if you want things to heat up with some clashes between your colonies and our satellite states in Africa, that's fine with me, just hash it out here beforehand so we know what we're doing obviously:)

Would it be possible to say that Astoria is already providing support to Albion at the start of the RP? My idea for a first post was to have my government double down on providing support despite domestic protests.

In line with that, what sort of support would Albion accept at this stage? Weapons sales? Providing satellite imagery? Assisting in targeting airstrikes? Providing midair refueling for Albion warplanes? What about providing rear echelon support like having Astorian advisors help training local police or security forces?

Would it be realistic for my government to at least claim that the UCA is linked to jihadist terror groups? That would be our justification for providing aid.

How benign or brutal is the Albion counter-insurgency and colonial presence? What sorts of actions of policies might be protested by liberal groups in my nation, beyond the basic "colonialism is bad"?

Is it okay for me to claim I have a naval base at Subic Bay in the Philippines for the purposes of the RP?

1. Not really, Albion is not isolationist but it does not really have international friends either.
2. if you were to offer to help, more just diplomatic support at this stage. We would not like another nation conducting operations on our soil. The British military is perfectly capable of deploying and operating within its own sphere.
3. the colonial presence is largely benign and leaves the local Sultan to run things his way so long as it does not contravene English common law. COIN operations are brutal however, any dissidence from armed actors will not be played with. Liberals may dislike that locals cannot really vote and that certain areas are in martial law, so curfew and roadblocks.
