Bells ring across the Confederation of Corrupt Dictators, for today she turns 3. Let the week-long celebration begin!

The Imperial Empire welcomes all, whether from near or far, into Vocryae to enjoy the festivities.

RULES and CONSIDERATIONS:

1. Posts must be in-character. This is an RP thread.
2. Otherwise, this is very open ended. Make of it what you want - let your imagination run wild!
3. That said, keep your RP centred on the Confederation's 3rd birthday.
4. Make no mistake, security is tight in Vocryae. We'd appreciate if you didn't come here to start a fight. Keep the RP wholesome, please.
5. The events of this thread may or not be considered part of the Confederation's canon at a later date.

The Chancellor takes the podium and looks out to the crowd below him. Thousands of men and women, all with a champagne glass in hand, have gathered near the Confedereichstag to celebrate the Confederation's third anniversary.

"As part of the celebrations for the Confederation's third birthday, I have just had the honour of submitting a somewhat familiar piece of legislation, 'Commend Confederation of Corrupt Dictators', to the Security Council."

The crowd cheers in response.

"Soon the World Assembly will officially recognise the might of our great region. Let the celebrations for the Confederation's third birthday commence! Hail the Confederation!"

The crowd raises their champagne glasses, and in unison, hails the mighty Confederation; "Hail the Confederation!"

As he returns to his seat, Walter offers his Chancellor a sly smile. "Well done, Grulain."

The Minister for War airs a televised speech, broadcast to the whole Confederation.

"In honor of the Confederation's third birthday, I would like to announce that the new leaders of Chrome Company, Lex Magnus Corpus, have finally been chosen!

"I would like to congratulate the nation of DeLongtasia, who has been chosen as the High Commander of Chrome Company. Also, congratulations to the new Commanders of Chrome Company: the nations The Fascist Waffle Empire, The Free Islands of Independence, and the Republic of United Providences!

"On the Confederation's birthday, we are one step closer to the destruction of degenerate democracy that is plaguing the world! Hail the Confederation!"

People across the Confederation watching the broadcast cheer, hailing the great Confederation.

Outside the Confedereichstag, Vocryae, Jocospor

Moments leading up to the beginning of a grand Confederation military parade outside the Confedereichstag, the members of the Supreme Council step onto the podium to thunderous applause from the crowds below. The applause dies away as Minister for War Dimitri Ivanov steps forward saying,

"In honor of the Confederation's third birthday, the War Ministry would like to present the men and women of the armed forces of the Confederation, who are all willing, if necessary, to lay down their lives for the defense of the Confederation and His Supreme Majesty, Emanoel II.

A voice booms from the PA, saying, "Please stand and remove your hats for the Confederation Anthem as performed by the Vocraye Youth Symphony Orchestra."

The crowd, with hats removed, stand silently as the anthem, For Emperor Forever, is played (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R60f-HY ... 1538123888)

The same voice once more booms, saying, "Now, please direct your attention to the fine men and women of the Confederation Imperial Army, under the command of Field Marshal John Jacobs of United Federation Of Pancakes."

As popular military songs from various nations of the Confederation begin to play, hundreds of men and women serving under the Imperial Army now begin processing past the podium, saluting the members of the Supreme Council as they pass. Following the infantry, several armored vehicles, including the LRRT and LRSSP tanks, begin passing, always with someone outside the tank's hatch, saluting.

At last, in the very back of the procession, Field Marshal Jacobs himself rides in an open-hatch vehicle, to much applause from the crowds.

After the Field Marshal had passed by the podium, and the excitement of the crowds died down, the voice from the PA says,[/i] "Please direct your attention to the admirable men and women of the Confederation Imperial Navy, under the command of Admiral Jem Fasol of AppleTime."

With popular navy tunes from a variety of nations playing, the brave marines of the Confederation Imperial Navy begin passing by the podium, always saluting. After the marines there came two small Finch-Class submarines, carried on vehicles repurposed to carry these heavy ships. Following the submarines, a large Vocrae-class Battlecruiser followed, with saluting crew on deck, carried on specially-designed vehicles equipped to handle their weight.

After these Battlecruisers, the massive Jocospor-Class aircraft carrier followed behind, where the Admiral himself was standing on deck with the navy's most elite soldiers, saluting. Again, the crowds exploded with excitement, with applause and cheering directed towards the Admiral, while at the same time marveling at the sheer size of the aircraft carrier.

Following the massive aircraft carrier and the admiral on board, the voice came once more, saying, "Please direct your attention to the great men and women of the Confederation Air Force, together with the scientists of the Military Department of Spacial Development, both led respectively by General August Hussen of Fetra and Director Marbell Khan of Borathia."

With more popular military music playing, the men and women of the Air Force came first, processing past the Confedereichstag, saluting the members of the Supreme Council. As they processed, a squadron of F-35 fighter jets flew by in stunning formation, earning cheers from the crowds. General Hussen followed the men on the ground, earning praise and applause.

Behind the men of the Air Force, three open-hatch vehicles with scientists inside begin passing the podium. These scientists, with Director Khan, earn especially enthusiastic praise, as the idea of military in space seem to be especially appealing to them.

With the military parade concluded, the Minister for War steps up again, saying,[/i] "Thank you to all those in our Confederation's armed forces for your service. And thank you to all those who arrived here today to watch the parade. Hail the Confederation!

With that, the members of the Supreme Council head back into the Confedereichstag, with the crowds hailing the Confederation.

Coverage of the Confedereichstag II Grand Opening Vocraye, Jocospor

This is Jim Farkas reporting for Confederation State Broadcasting and we are bringing you live coverage of the opening of the Confedereichstag II in Vocraye, Jocospor. As you may know the Confedereichstag II is to be a new official Confederation government building. As the Confederation of Corrupt Dictators has grown, there has been a need for more space for regional officials and secretaries to work with. The Viceroy has also stated that he has plenty of other plans for it as well. It has been announced that the original Confedereichstag will remain open and the extra offices for the Supreme Councilors will remain there. The Confedereichstag II is a marvel. It's 10 times the size of the Confedereichstag and covers a very large area looking over the city. Words can't explain how marvellous this is so here is a photo of the amazing structure.

Many representatives, leaders, and amassadors have attended this ceremony. Thankfully this ceremony has been a peaceful one and we have been without any major incident here. Having top notch security has definitely played a part in that. It has been announced that the Emperor of Jocospor, His Supreme Majesy Emanoel II himself is expected to give a speech to close out the ceremony. We will deliver that speech to you as soon as it starts. In fact here comes the Emperor now as the Confederation Anthem, "For Emperor Forever is being played by the Vocraye Youth Orchestra.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R60f-_H ... 1538123888). What an excellent performance of the anthem. The thing that I find most interesting about it was that this group was commisioned by the Viceroy himself to perform here. Now I can see the reason why. They are truly excellent. He has approached the podium and looks like he is about to start speaking so we will transmit that speech to you now.

"Hello everyone. Celebrating the region's third anniversary this week has given me plenty of reason to reflect on how far we have come. None of my predecessors would have ever dreamed we would be where we are right now. With over 600 nations it is safe to say we are stronger than we have ever been before. This magnificent building behind me represents many things. Growth, prosperity, and the determination of the people of this esteemed region. I would like to personally thank all those who have made this possible. I would also like to take these moments to personally commend the Viceroy and the rest of the Supreme Council for all the work they do daily in keeping this region strong and prosperous. Thank you to everyone who has come here to witness this historical moment May we continue to grow in the future. Hail the Confederation!"
