Study hard! Make friends! (Alt Upotte IC)

7:30AM, Hastings Academy, Hastings England

“The sun had barely risen on the English countryside where the prestigious and ancient academy stood yet the sounds of repeated gunfire sounded all across the campus. No, a battle was not raging, nor was anyone in danger, rather it was simply the sounds of the schools rather unique student body carrying out their daily morning exercise. The students at Hastings Academy were not your average everyday students. No, the student body of Hastings academy was made up entirely of guns and it was their...”

“Must you narrate?” Kpist M/45 stated raising his eyebrow at the childlike M1911 who glared back at the Swedish SMG.

“You are no fun Kpist,” 1911 pouted resting her head on her arms as she leaned against the railing in the observer's booth that overlooked the Hastings Elementary firing grounds.

“Such behavior is inappropriate for a gun of your caliber and, not to mention, rather childish,” he looked his fellow teacher, who appeared barely older then the students she was teaching, up and down before letting out a sigh. “Even for you,” 1911 continued to pout at Kpist. “It’s also rather annoying,” 1911 frowned and looked over to her fellow teacher and friend Owen SMG.

“It is kind of annoying,” the Australian replied. 1911 frowned at her friend who responded with an apologetic smile.

“Fine,” 1911 said with a reluctant grumble. “I’ll stop narrating.”

“Thank you,” Kpist said, though with a tad bit of sarcasm in his voice, as he went back to observing the students below them. 1911 shot the Swedish SMG another glare before she herself returned to observing.

On the other side of the school, the German GPMG MG3 lay on her stomach firing in excessively short bursts. With rather long burst intervals. Finishing off a belt of ammunition she opened the top cover, cleared the belt feed tray, cocked the charging handle and returned it to the forward position, placed a new belt onto the feed tray before finally closing the top cover and resuming her short slow bursts.

“MG3!” snapped a voice through a megaphone. The German girl turned around to see the head of Hastings High, Browning M2HB, giving her a disapproving look. “You’ve been firing like an assault rifle for the past 15 minutes. Your accuracy is good but you are a machine gun, not an AR. I want to see you practice with longer bursts. If you need to provide suppressive fire and you’re not prepared for it because you’ve been practicing precision shots this whole time that’s not good.”

“Y...yes ma’am,” MG3 mumbled her response.
“What was that?” M2 replied through her megaphone.

“YES MA’AM!” MG3 shouted.

“Good,” M2 said. MG3 turned back to the targets down range and with a gulp pulled the trigger for a burst longer than a meager 3 rounds.

0730, Hastings Academy, Hastings England

LWMMG

On the same range as MG3, LWMMG, better known as Lou to her friends, practices her engagement from a prone bipod position. Her own target is noticeably farther downrange than most as she starts off with short controlled bursts at her weapon's rather sedate rate of fire. Yes, maybe she is sort of cheating by having an ACOG optical sight attached as standard, but she finds the range on the target within her first five controlled bursts. With a bit of shifting to hold the range while laying in a more comfortable position, Lou gets ready to expend the rest of her belt on the target.

With a steady thump even at an even slower cadence than heavy machine guns like the M2, Lou fires off an extended burst, laying a rather tight beaten zone with the target at the center. Now satisfied with her ranging and suppression fire, LWMMG fires the rest of her belt in short, closely spaced bursts, attempting to place as much of it as possible on the target itself.

Part way through her firing, LWMMG is caught off guard by M2HBs admonishment to MG3 delivered via loudspeaker, and silently curses to herself as she jerks the trigger rather than squeezes it, sending her burst awry of the target.

"Shit...I hope no one noticed that..."

With a short pause to reacquire her target, and cast a sideways glance to MG3 down the firing line, Lou resumes her firing.

HK416

On the range where the assault rifles of Hastings Academy conduct their practice firing, one assault rifle prepares to run a multi-target drill. In front of the shooter are five paper silhouette targets arranged at varying distances and heights, and carried on the shooter's body and in the weapon are a total of five magazines. Standing with her weapon at a low ready position, HK416, usually referred to as just 416, takes in a slow steady breath as she prepares herself for her engagement drill.

"Begin!"

At a mental command, 416 brings her rifle to her shoulder and begins firing on the targets, switching between each one as she progresses through her first magazine.

"Ten shot, semi-automatic, aimed rapid fire, followed by 20 rounds of controlled bursts."

With a controlled staccato, 416 perforates the paper silhouettes, running through her ammo at a rapid, but controlled, rate, with only a few rounds flying wide of the center of mass marked on the papers. 416 fingers the magazine release with her right hand, her next magazine in her left hand and grabs the current mag as it's released. With the new magazine at a 90 degree angle to the previous, 416 slides the empty mag out and with a twist of her wrist has the new one in position and slides it home before dropping the expended magazine into a pouch at her hips.

"Thirty rounds, controlled bursts... mag change... ten rounds aimed, twenty rounds rapid... mag change... again... mag change... ten rounds aimed, twenty rounds slow... mag change... twenty rounds slow, 10 rounds aimed...

The chatter of 416's rifle comes to an end as she lets out a small sigh.

"Drill complete..." she mutters to herself.

Examining the targets from her place on the firing line, 416, feels slightly disappointed.

"Still too many shots going wide, I need to control my movements while switching between targets better..."

Super SASS

Meanwhile, on the "true" rifle range, the firing was occuring at a far more sedate pace. Sitting cross-legged with her elbows on her knees to steady her rifle, Super SASS, AKA goodest girl just SASS, plinks away at a steel silhouette target with an X marked on the center. The slow and steady cadence of her suppressor muffled shots and the ping of shot against steel is intermixed with that of other rifle.

K1A

Pull, release. Pull, release. Breathe in, breathe out.

A few firing lanes away from MG3, the elementary-schooler with a middle schooler’s body, the somewhat famed K1A fired away at the targets laid out before her, in successive and perfectly systematic 3-round bursts. With narrow, both-still-open concentrated eyes and a steady heartbeat, every burst she let loose would hit it’s mark onto another target within an instant, and strangely enough, nearly every shot fired would land within a 1.5-or-less inch grouping, surprising for a weapon of such a short barrel. This was thanks to her mutually exclusive experience in the Special Forces and Korean Marines, more specifically the Teukjeonsa and the UDT/SEALS. Speaking of such, the ‘submachine gun’ was wearing her prized Teukjeonsa Black Beret, which she wore whenever the school would host firing exercises, physical education, or tournaments. Her firing stance in that of a special forces operator was firm and planted into the ground, as that K1A in her hands never seemed to lurch upwards or downwards. This was K1A at her finest, possibly the top-scoring elementary schooler, and able to go toe-to-toe with several a middle schooler. Why a 5.56mm rifle was in elementary-- nobody questioned, at least nowadays they didn’t.

At this point, she didn’t care if the target she was firing at had it’s entire bullseye marker shot through with holes. The best had to be consistent, and she was keen on proving that. ’Not like K2 would ever understand THAT…’, K1A would but for a moment think to herself. It was here where that 30 round magazine of hers would run dry. The response was almost instant and instinctual, lightning fast yet precise.

“...Mag empty.”

Pushing the button to the left hand side of her firearm with her finger, she’d immediately yank the magazine out, whipping one from the surface before her, slamming it into the magwell, and pulling the bolt back quickly, which would fly forwards as she would continue firing off another burst instantly, all whilst still staring directly ahead and keeping her rifle pointed at her imagined North Korean enemy. Her eyes showed calmness, but also a determination for what she was doing.

K11

Calculations raced through K11’s head, as she jammed one eye shut and aimed down the massive computerized sight to her OICW. The girl’s glasses would flash with information projected onto them-- as the Korean flicked her thumb until the fire selector was in the fourth position. Directly afterwards she would press a button on her handguard, more information flashing across the glass of her eyewear. With a sense of determined concentration, the girl would examine the information in the vision of her electronic sight. Range, windage, corrected crosshairs, grenade drop, many things were calculated, but it only took her mere moments to configure-- and another to slowly squeeze the trigger, as a 20mm airburst flew forth, causing the rifle to recoil somewhat. Crouched down, K11 would immediately pull back the bolt to the OICW compartment, loading a new shell into the chamber as she continued watching the shell exploding in the air directly behind the designated target, sending shrapnel flying through it’s backside-- a huge improvement from but a year earlier when she hadn’t worked around that infamous issue of lethality.

She couldn’t ponder on this however, as immediately afterwards the Korean would adjust her aim to another target, this time only pressing the button from before and squeezing again, the heavy rifle recoiling once more. Her ponytail would swish, and her notably… Large bust would slightly jiggle upon this happening, though this girl was focusing more on the results of her work. Once more, the shell would explode behind the next target, sending more shrapnel through the back of the target. That being done, she would flick her thumb again, to her 3 round burst setting. Squeezing once more, she would return to a normal firing sequence, though her grouping wasn’t to her preference. Once both magazines had been exhausted, she’d keep looking through that sight of hers, examining all the holes laid out.

“3 inch group on the last 2 targets…? My my, I must be slipping up...”

As she would lower her rifle, K11’s expression would be that of displeasure, moving to reload the rifle part of her OICW.

XM214

Further down and next to a particular Danish Battle Rifle, a long blonde-haired, blue-eyed busty girl by the name of XM214 aimed down her aircraft sight, both eyes open as she had a tripod laid out on the ground-- this American being prone on the floor, low enough so that her chest pressed against it. With her electronics configured to 3,000 RPM and no electronic burst control, the girl was intending on improving how well she could control a relatively base firerate without the need to switch to any fancy burst control settings. This being said, she would hold the trigger on each target for a mere two seconds each, which was more then enough to shred most of them, only leaving some in one piece. Her somewhat passionate smile was showing her enjoyment out of this, even if she wasn’t shredding targets in half intentionally like she wanted to, annihilating wooden and paper targets was still good fun. The barrels would rotate, spit flame, then smoke, over and over.

BRRRRT! BRRRRT! BRRRRT!

She would continue to fire, as hundreds of casings piled up around her within mere dozens of seconds. However, what came very soon after would come as an unpleasant surprise to her. She focused her eyes in again for that split second, before unleashing her hail of lead at a target… Only to sneeze in the middle of it. The recoiling motion from such a shock caused the gun to swivel heavily to the right, whilst in the middle of firing. The dramatic buildup to the sneeze in fact, would be ever so slightly audible before the thunderous roar of the microgun would be heard once more, it’s six barrels belching out a solid stream of lead.

“Htch--”BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT!

Before she knew it, the gun had pierced the air of a neighboring range, shredding every single target on theirs clean in two by mistake. Fortunately no other targets had been hit, but the damage had already been done. As the microgun came to, her eyes froze in horror as she looked at the work she had done. Feeling both a rising sense of dread and a pang of guilt from her acts, the high-schooler would immediately scramble to her feet, lurching a bit forwards though due to her top-heaviness. She would immediately exclaim, her eyes jammed shut and her hands in front of her in a ‘don’t hit me’ sort of fashion, almost as if she was expecting to be hit. If she had her parts damaged, she only had a limited amount of spares-- and even then if those spares ran out, she’d have to pay a hefty amount to General Electric himself or suffer the worst fate of all, literal death.

“I’MSORRYI’MSORRY…! IDIDN’TMEANTODOTHAT!”

She’d sputter out rapidly, almost incomprehensible due to that monstrous firerate.

Elementary Group
Not far from K1A, a small group of SMGs gathered around one of the firing stations. Vigneron, MP-57, and K7 all watched as the intermediating cartridge firing “SMG” worked on her targets. Of the three that watched, K7 could only give a thumbs up at her older sister, while MP-57 had an annoyed expression on her face. Vigneron could only give a large smile upon hearing MP-57 mutter under her breath that firing assault rifle rounds is cheating for an SMG, K7 merely continuing to give a thumbs up at her sister from a distance.

Meanwhile, the other half of the group was gathered around Vector as she fired away at target 100 meters away. Blasting away in controlled 5-round bursts, the American SMG emptying her magazine in a matter of seconds. Puff of smokes surrounding the target, it was clear that of the 25 rounds she fired, only few managed to hit. American-180 can only give Vector a firm pat on the back for at least trying to hit targets outside of her effective range, with Vityaz sighing. In a soft voice, the Russian spoke to Vector. "Well, you did better than Borz... She would have missed more than you did."

"..." Was both of the American SMGs response to the statement, finding it in poor taste due to Borz being sent home for the moment. But as fast as her words were said, Vector fired back. "Hey, that wasn't very nice. Borz can't help it and whenever she does try, she puts everything in her efforts."

"I'm only saying the fact, I don't mean any will by it. She is after all my best friend."

Vector could only stare down the Russian, prior to 180 placing a hand on her shoulder, shaking her head to discourage any potential retribution Vector was thinking. "Now, now, now. We're all friends here. Besides I'm sure Borz wouldn't have minded the comment. Let's calm down okay?... Anyways, let's see if K1A has some pointers for shooting past your effective range." Reassured 180 before turning to K1A down the range and shouting at her. "K1A! Do you think can come over and give us some pointers?"

Marine Scout Sniper Rifle
On the sniper rifle range, MSSR laid down on the floor, pinging away at her target sitting at 600 meters away. While this may seem like a rather short range for a sniper rifle, it was due to the caliber that she fired, using the 5.56mm NATO used by assault rifles from all over the world. Although with her 24-inch barrel, the Filipino rifle could theoretically engage targets up to 800 meters and slightly further beyond especially if she was using her handloaded Hornady Match ammunition. And due to her lower caliber, MSSR had among the faster rate of fire on the range, due to the lower recoil and less dust being kicked up allowing her to acquire targets than most of the other weapons on the range.

K1A
As K1A continued to fire away at these targets with almost robot-like technique and precision, the girl would promptly be interrupted by the distinct sound of a fellow sub-gun yelling for her, to which the Korean understood perfectly, but continued to fire off that magazine of hers in the same way. Despite the extremely close inspection by the two currently standing around K1A she had remained laser-focused, acting almost as if they never even existed, only occasionally sparing a glance to her younger sister in K7 to smile lightly. Honestly? The antics of all submachine guns were interesting, and she had decided long ago that even though she wasn't with assault rifles, they didn't provide as amusing a life as the little subguns. Nobody really saw K1A in a state where she had been extremely happy so to speak, but despite it all, the 'Submachine gun' really did enjoy the company. She didn't really hear Vector's group talking all that well however, due to their relative distance and the gunfire from her own weapon itself. Though it was much more silent than her original form, it still wasn't necessarily quiet, as a 5.56 carbine wouldn't usually be. Yelling, however, DID catch her attention. As the ammunition to her 30-rounder would run dry, K1A would instinctively move her finger rapidly, drop the magazine, load a new one in, and rack the bolt back with extreme speed and precision. Once that was done with, the Korean flicked her thumb, setting her rifle on safety as she blinked towards the three currently watching her and nodding once, before turning her attention to 180.

With an expression that looked like it'd be smoking a cigarette if she was allowed to, she'd gingerly set her actual K1A down on the firing station table, crossing her arms lightly as she'd slowly make her way over to Vector and all the others, looking about as curious as K1A could really get. "Some pointers, huh...?" K1A would repeat, slowly glancing out at the target Vector had attempted to fire on and taking note of her magazine size whilst observing the amount of holes in the target. As she would stare out at it, she would approach the group as a whole, ending up right next to Vector and slowly placing her hand on the American's shoulder. She'd close her eyes for a good few seconds, leaving nothing but the sounds of pops, bangs, and that unmistakable BRRRRRRRT. Opening her eyes slowly, she would raise her free hand to point towards the target she had been aiming for. Her voice carried with it the same flatness and simultaneous drive in it which caused an odd combination sounding salty yet determined.

"...The target seems to be out of effective range for your caliber. Therefore what I would recommend is that with the average windspeed at the moment, you should adjust for windage by about... 3 Degrees to the left and 2 degrees up, if you were aiming for center of mass. It may be harder to do with close-range sights, but at least it's something."

She'd briefly shoot a glance over at MP-57.

"...And just because I fire 5.56, doesn't mean I don't know about handgun round trajectories before you mention it, MP-57."

Elementary Group
Mouth agape and left eye slightly twitching, MP-57 was left shocked by K1A suddenly correcting her for something she wasn't even thinking about. This reaction only served to leave Vigneron bursting in laughter, holding her stomach from the pain the amount of laughter that poured from her mouth. K7 simply gave a small smile in agreement with the humor, in full support of making fun of the German gun, even if she doesn't know whether or not this was intentional on her sister's part. Starting to recover, the German took a breath to begin a defense of herself that would put any WWII defense to shame!

"Look here, I neve-" Began MP, 57 but was cut short by Vector dumping her whole magazine into the target, getting more hits than previously before. Completely cut off, MP-57 prepared to speak once more only to be cut off by Vector doing the same thing again. "Hey, what's the big idea Vector?! I'm trying to talk here! Hey are listening to me?! Hey! Hey! Hey!"

Despite the shouting, Vector completely ignored her, giving a nod to the results of the rather simple instructions given to her by K1A. "Wow, that's not bad. Now if I can only have a bigger magazine, like the ones you would find on Thompson, it would definitely make my day."

Being the second to last nail in the coffin for MP-57, she was finished off by K7 who simply held a small sign that read "Supporting Background Character" with an arrow pointing at the German gun. Causing her to simply give up and slouch down, Vigneron patting the back of her fellow Western European SMG. In the meantime, 180 had jumped into the conversation of Vector getting a larger magazine. Vityaz simply gave a small clap for K1A and gave her an approving smile, curious as to how she'll react to any of this.

K1A
Shortly afterwards, K1A's somewhat salty frown would form into a self-satisfied and smug smile, where she would then relish in the reaction she created. This smile only would widen as Vector would dump rounds into the target and MP-57 continually got ignored. She decided to add insult to injury by staring at the target as MP-57 desperately cried out for attention, making it look as if the Korean had forgotten that the German had ever existed. With a firm nod of approval and a pat on Vector's head, she would respond with her voice, except the saltiness was now replaced with proud approval. Aiming like that with a sub-gun wasn't very easy, but she was surprised that the American had done so well with maintaining the windage. It was here where she would finally glance behind at the entourage and their shenanigans, as she would spot K7's little sign directed at MP-57. Of course, K1A knew of K7's kinks. The girl never spoke, but always communicated through signs, some not making any sense whatsoever, as she sometimes showed them off to noone in particular, or someone she would call 'The Readers'. However, in this instance, K1A found herself giggling slightly, something she hasn't done in a while, made all the better by the smile offered by her younger sibling.

With a rather haughty-looking smile, she'd glance back over to MP-57 at last, with an expression that looks as if the girl thought she won. Mostly it was to hammer in more unnecessary nails into the coffin to coax more of a reaction out of the Mauser SMG, but nonetheless she was still curious either way. It looked as if she was going to come back with something longwinded and wordy, much like the North Korean guns she was used to seeing in propaganda films, but the contents would be less about communism and the corrupt capitalist states, but rather about how she was a good weapon, and K1A shouldn't assume. Either way, her voice carried with it the same passive saltiness and flatness to it as earlier as she spoke up.

"What was that, MP-57? Were you trying to say anything, or was that just my imagination? My most sincere apologies, I didn't even notice you speaking."

Her expression, to be frank, looked as if she was about to burst into giggles, or perhaps even laughter again.

Elementary school firing range

"That's good," Kpist muttered to himself as he watched the group of SMG's and K1A1.
"What is," 1911 replied as she nonchalantly played with a butterfly that had flown by her. Kpist once again glared over at the over 100-year-old teacher and rolled his eyes.
"They're turning to each other for help rather than us," Kpist explained.
"So," 1911 continued to play with the butterfly. Kpist again rolled his eyes.
"It means their learning to use each other and work as a team rather than rely on us. It shows their maturing," as Kpist spoke 1911 stopped playing with the butterfly to look at the group of elementary school students.
"Yeah," she muttered softly a smile on her face. Kpist looked over at the handgun and smiled a bit himself realizing that the handgun did apparently actually care about her students.

High school firing range

"LWMMG," M2 snapped through her megaphone. "If a simple distraction like me correcting another student is enough to throw off your aim, you will surely fail on a real-life battlefield. However, beyond that good shooting, keep up the good work," BRRRRTTTTTTTT. The sound XM214 going off followed by the disappearance of firing lane and shouting from a rather scared and also ticked off student caught the attention of M2. The heavy machine gun looked over to XM214's lane and from the destruction and rapidly apologizing minigun M2 was quickly able to deduce what had happened, and she wasn't happy. "XM214," she shouted through the megaphone. "Come over here."

Type 106 had always been told to simply relax. Her shots would fly true if she practiced her form, her shots would certainly fly true if she practiced and believed in her nation. Predictably, perhaps, she was very heavy, very awkward to fire when compared to Type 88 or even when Type 73 had her top magazine in. But they always reassured Type 106 that she could shoot true. It helped to present to her a target, not a bullseye, but wooden mockups painted to look like American soldiers she had learned about, sneering faces facing her, painted Grease Guns trained at her. The kind of soldier who had thrown babies down wells.

Deep breath. Aim at the American dog. Squeeze trigger. American dog dead. Finger off trigger.

Her accuracy was not exactly the makings of a marksman's rifle, certainly, but the holes across the chest of the cutout showed she could, in fact, kill an American dog. But, then again, that wasn’t quite what made 106 so unique among her peers in Pyongyang. Adjust for elevation, there was a cutout behind a cinder block wall, 106 could see the top of an M1 helmet. Windage, arc, angle of attack, 106 had gone through this process dozens of times in her tests. With a quick squeeze of her other trigger, the 30mm grenade soared through the air, landing with a thunk behind the cinder block wall and exploding. A few bricks were thrust out just slightly, enough so she knew her grenade had flown true. It hadn’t been her, really, she knew as much, it had been the country, the spirit of Juche, helping her.

Kord

Typically, heavy machine guns- that is, the high-caliber type codified by the M2 Browning- are mounted on tripods or mounted on vehicles. This has also initially true of the first type of heavy machine gun, the water-cooled types codified by the Maxim Gun. But there was a famous exception to the rule of Maxim-type heavy machine guns being exclusively stationary: the MG-08/15, which sported a bipod and stock. While not exactly phenomenal, the MG-08/15 was demonstrably far more mobile than its HMG counterparts like the Vickers Gun.

In many ways, 6P50 Kord was the MG-08/15 of the M2-type heavy machine guns. She fired the same 12.7×108mm round that had first been used by DShK in 1938, but was substantially more mobile. In Kord’s infantry form, she had a stock, she had a bipod. In essence, the Kord could be moved into position and be ready to fire much quicker than any of its contemporaries. That was a fact Kord herself took great pride in, that she was so much more mobile than any of her counterparts. In fact, one could even, if they felt so inclined, fire her while standing up completely unmodified.

“Cyka blyat, these targets are too smol!” Kord exclaimed in frustration as a 12.7mm round missed the target’s head as it popped up over the cinder block wall. She was standing, eschewing bipods and practicality for the sake of firing a heavy machine gun standing up. She took a breath and fired again, squeezing off a single shot. Miss, again!

“Ah, blin, time for… eh, gopnik solution…” Kord simply leveled the machine gun and fired off a handful of bursts, the wall turning into so much dust and fragments of cinder. The target fell. “Ahahahaha, another victory!”

Madsen LAR

Practice makes perfect, as they always say. One of Madsen's favorite statements, if she had to pick one.

With a proud look on her face, Madsen double-checked everything before stepping into her shooting stance in a single smooth motion, then preparing to fire. Madsen had taken some time setting up her targets to make sure they were exactly where they should be, as usual. How was she to practice without an optimal environment? It meant that it took her a bit longer than most to start, true, but it was a small price to pay.

She aimed for the furthest target first, making the calculations, preparing the shot. She braced herself, and-

Madsen yelped in surprise and fired a few panicked shots as her targets were all bowled over by a gun much more powerful than her. How did- what-

White-hot anger shot through her as she realized what had happened. Were this a cartoon, her hair would likely have burst into flames.

“YOU-!”

She spun to face that clumsy, top-heavy, idiot microgun that always was next to her in practice- and who was already prostrating herself and begging forgiveness.

“YOU CLUMSY IDIOT! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TIME I SPENT SETTING THAT UP?! IT WAS PERFECT!”

Madsen, red-faced from anger and embarassment, had to stop to take a few deep breaths to calm herself down and look a little more composed as the megaphone rang out.

“I- I mean, perhaps you should watch where you are firing a bit more. And get some allergy medication to stop that sneezing, it might help.” Then she huffed, and stormed off to go find some more targets.

CZ. 75

Arms out front, squared shoulders, legs shoulder-width apart, knees bent. All things that had been drilled into her with long hours of practice and experience, left to instinct so she could focus on other matters. Aim for the target, fire, re-center. It was almost like meditation. Going through the motions. Though…

She considered her targets, where she had landed 5 shots through the head of each of her three targets, and a final one through the heart of the furthest. Perhaps she should actually practice instead of showing off. Her spread was getting a bit too wide.

USAS-12

Some people, USAS thought to herself as she fired, take this training far too seriously. How much could shooting at these wooden figures really help you when you’re actually out fighting communism? She paused as her gun clicked empty and studied her progress, before swapping magazines and continuing. Of course, that’s not to say she can’t use this time for constructive practice. Even if others might disagree with her idea of ‘constructive.’

Were anyone to ask, she would call it ‘precision training’- trying to ensure that she can keep her firing steady while moving her aim in full-auto mode. She had her work cut out for her, keeping the shots steady while walking her fire along the target she had, following the outline she had drawn. The staccato beat of her slug ammunition leaving the barrel was a nice counterpoint to the growing image, in her opinion.

After expending a few magazines, she stepped back to admire her masterpiece of training. That is to say, the picture of a duck she had drawn out of slug-holes drilled into the target. At least, to her it looked kinda like a duck. If you squint. Eh, you know what they say; practice makes perfect.

XM214

She had tried her best to stop the retribution about to fall upon her, but her efforts were nothing but fruitless. The apocalypse was now-- and it wasn't the end of human civilization, no. It was the cataclysmic rage which arose from deep within Madsen. Oh boy, here it comes. XM214 just wanted to come out here and have a nice time. To improve her skills in hypothetical combat scenarios, to prepare her for any eventuality. However, allergies could not be controlled, and as such completely ruined what would otherwise be a completely normal time on the shooting range. Hearing that first angered yell directed at the microgun, this top-heavy, rather plump American with her USA #1 red ballcap would wince tightly upon hearing it, flinching backwards with a very sour expression, letting out a similar exclamation. "Mmhh...!" No matter how hard she tried, or how hard she studied, the girl could never really get away from scrutiny. There was so much of it that she had come under that the girl honestly lost count of how many times it had occurred. First by the armed forces, then by her father himself, and then by her fellow colleagues. The girl just couldn't get a break, couldn't she? Oh well, perhaps it was her destiny. Hearing that accusation and angered question, her eyes would open as she'd look towards the other with that same sour expression, a semblance of tears forming on the edges of her eyes as she began to speak, beginning with a saddened exclamation.

"Awawa... So sorry... So sorry... I'm so sorry..."

Holding her microgun tightly and shivering as the angered battle rifle would make her next point, XM would glance downwards, same sour expression still very much palpable, as all she could do in her own good conscience was nod in response, how stupid of her. She had let this thing happen... Should she not have instead fired on a table behind a chair or standing up? That would have prevented dust from being kicked up into her face from all the amounts of dust being kicked up by that monster firerate. Either way, she'd watch as the other girl would storm off quite angrily, but something else caught her attention. Something... Much, much, MUCH worse. Oh no. By Uncle Sam's beard and top hat, this wasn't going to be pretty.

Finorskia wrote:-iiiiiiiiiiit's punisment time-

A rising sense of dread permeated throughout every bone, muscle, and organ throughout her body, and if this was a cartoon, she likely would have had an X-ray view of her heart sinking to her crotch. She froze in her tracks, completely paralyzed. She hadn't wanted anything like this. Miss M2 was a terrifying beast, and one who didn't go too easy on her students if they made a mistake. Her eyes were left wide as she could barely move a muscle in these moments. What should she do...? If she ran, she'd be punished further likely, but if she went to confront M2, the punishment might be extremely severe. Gingerly, and with heavy reluctance, the microgun would cause her weapon to vanish in her hands, before very slowly and almost mechanically making her way over to the HMG, though her steps were heavily delayed and far heavier than usual, with her looking as if she was expecting to have her head blown off by a very angry and screaming teacher. As she would approach the legendary Ma Deuce, the girl would practically shake in her boots, glancing up at this American icon of war and renowned success.

"Y... Y... Y-Yes... Miss M2...?"

Elementary Group
"... I would shoot you if I was a Psychopath..." Mumbled MP-57, cheeks puffed out slightly as she avoided any direct eye-contact to the Korean "carbine". Giving a long sigh, the German SMG straightened up and put on her tough exterior, beginning to head back to her own booth. However, stopped shortly after to address K1A in a dignified manner. "I never assumed that you lacked the knowledge about the any pistol or PDW cartridges, now if you were a low caliber student, that might be different. And so, I can only say that its best to avoid assumption about anyone because it ends up getting people hurt."

Finished with her piece, MP-57 walked off. Vigneron meanwhile gave a sheepish chuckle, rubbing the back of her head. "Man, watching you guys off on one another from time to time makes me think that bushfighting in the Congo was easier. Anyways, I’m gonna go with MP-57 so she doesn’t get lonely.” Said Vigneron as she began to walk away from the group to accompany MP-57, only to be yelled at by a embarrassed 57, going on about how she ruined her looking mature.

In the mean time, 180 heard of the BRRRRRRRRRT from the nearby high school range, opting for her to emulate it in her own way. Leaning in to whisper in both Vityaz and Vector, all three of them conspired to fire at the same time emptying out their own magazines. All of them entering three booths next to one another and aimed at the farthest target they could comfortably hits. Those were 50 meters for Vector, 200 meters for Vityaz, and 150 meters for 180. Pressing their stocks against their shoulder and aiming down their sights, then completely synchronized with one another, fired at the same time. For roughly a second and a half, all three of them fired at the same time, filling the air with a considerable amount of lead. But of course by the time all three of them were out of ammunition, 180 had lasted more than 8 seconds with her 165 round magazine. Beaming, all three of them have each other high fives, especially after seeing their targets completely perforated with holes.

“Hey K1A, thanks for the advice again.” Gladly shouted Vector, achieving a 100% hit rate on their hijinks.

M2 Stood at her full height arms folded across her chest. Her blue eyes looking right into those of the much smaller miniguns, as if she was trying to look into the poor girl's soul. To accompany her piercing gaze the HMG's face was twisted into a stern, yet calm, expression of anger.
"What was that?" the HMG asked the XM214. Though she paused as if to allow the minigun to respond she raised her hand before they had a chance to say anything. "That was a clear lack of control and trigger discipline. I don't care if you sneezed, or coughed, tripped on a spent casing, or were bitten by a horsefly, the moment you have to adjust your body or take your eyes away from the target you stop pulling that trigger. Since you apparently lack not only this skill but the common sense that accompanies it I will not only be deducting points from your overall ranking, but you will also be spending time with me after class to improve on your apparent lack of basic skills. Is this understood?"

K1A

The girl would watch with that same light smirk as MP-57 and Vigneron would walk off, followed by embarrassed yells by the Mauser SMG, having remained entirely silent throughout the last bit of conversation between them, just standing there and soaking it all in. If she were a normal girl, she may have conceded and accepted this as fact, but K1A was not all too lighthearted, rather heavy-hearted for a gun of her stature, possibly due to the constant special forces conditioning she had to endure alongside Korea's best infantrymen. As those two rather energetic and eccentric submachine guns would walk off and they were far enough that they wouldn't hear the carbine mutter under her breath, she'd do so whilst glancing down slightly, eyes closed as she'd speak with that familiar flat tone, sighing with her hands on her hips.

"Getting riled over stuff like this isn't worth it in the long run..."

Then turning back towards Vector's little posse and walking over to very close behind them, K1A would blink curiously at all of them entering booths next to one another. With her arms moving to be crossed, the Korean 'Submachine gun' would watch with curious, yet slightly narrowed eyes as their shenanigans would commence. The sight of every single one taking aim at the same target reminded the girl about those movies with the redcoats laying down volley fire. Amusing and interesting simultaneously, her gaze would constantly shift between the firearms they held and the actual target. She knew what was coming next... Were they trying to replicate the destruction that the clumsy XM214 was able to create? Nonetheless, these lingering thoughts were put aside as the inevitable happened. After these few seconds of silence, a deafening cacophony of three fast-firing sub guns simultaneously, rivaling a single short burst from that rotary barreled firearm. The report was as expected, terrifyingly deadly. With holes instantly turning a target into a fine Swiss cheese, it looked as if it was ready to fall over at any moment, and at this K1A would find herself smiling. "No problem, but..." She had an idea, one which pervaded her usual solemn and serious mindset.

Summoning the firearm from the table on which she left it behind, K1A would immediately snap it to her shoulder with the same special forces precision, aiming it directly at the same exact target, eyes narrowed extremely heavily. Time seemed to pass more slowly, as within the instant she aimed and acquired her target, the girl pulled the trigger to her carbine, letting loose a three-round burst which sailed downrange. Immediately after she switched to another position, pulling again as brass would fly. Again and again she'd adjust and fire, aiming for areas which hadn't been nailed more closer to the bottom. Her goal had finally been achieved, as with a wide smirk she watched the target quite literally fall over. Flicking her firearm to safety, her smirk would grow, as the girl seemed genuinely amused for once, something which wasn't seen very often. She'd then let out a genuine chuckle, seeming as if she found this all rather enjoyable and fun to witness. Just because she was a top performer, didn't mean she couldn't just be a girl and find stuff funny from time to time.

"Well, that's more of the school budget gone down the drain!"

K11

With her safety on, K11 would briefly leave her booth to stride over to USAS-12, smiling with her eyes closed at her fellow Daewoo sister. She'd wave a hand, speaking in a tone that seemed as if she was a mother speaking to a child, even if she simply greeted her stepsister with a "Anneonghaseyo!~" befitting of a K-Drama. Wandering over to her booth, the girl would adjust her shoulders lightly. K11 was always the type to check up on others after she was done with what she considered was a decent run, more specifically her sisters, as she cared very deeply for and admired all of them equally-- even USAS-12, who was seen as a delinquent, someone who wasn't very pleasant to be around. Honestly? K11 loved how USAS was so willing to come to the defense of her fellow sisters despite her adopted status. In particular, K11 remembered multiple instances where when she used to be an awkward nerd, USAS would often protect her against the bullying of Chinese guns, even (albeit rarely) exerting force to prove her point.

The OICW would peer over somewhat, curious as to what exactly the performance of USAS was. In theory, she should be on the mark due to having enough ammunition to repeatedly strike the target for a far longer amount of time than regular shotguns, yes? Well, maybe not. K11 knew that USAS wasn't the type to be precise, rather brash and impulsive, so it likely would be giant slug holes all over the target, scattered about in a very lazy and uncontrolled manner. What she saw surprised her, as the girl's eyes widened ever so slightly, and she'd let her gun itself hang low with her left hand, putting her hand up to her mouth to giggle with her right, eyes closed. She didn't expect it, but it was a pretty pleasant surprise nonetheless.

"Oh my, what a cute duckie!~"

She'd then open her eyes.

"Buuut...."

The Korean would grab the handguard to her rifle again, before shouldering it, aiming downrange at the duck and flicking her safety off. Her glasses pulsated with information across the HUD, though one of her eyes was jammed shut as she peered into that advanced electronic sight. As per usual, it displayed the wind speed, time, and not only did it possess a normal crosshair, but a calculated red dot on where it'd land at said ranges. At closer range it was less reliable sure, but at longer ones, it came in incredibly useful as it gave her a degree of accuracy which would not require extensive guesswork. She'd breathe in to slow her heartrate, before she unleashed a round on semi automatic, having aimed for the duck's head. The bullet struck dead center that time, as she'd then lower her OICW herself, back in a diagonal angle pointed towards the ground, as she'd then smile cordially. She'd made an eye for the duck, and she'd close her eyes whilst still smiling, grinning while turning to face USAS herself.

"Now he can see, yeah?"

XM214

With an incredibly concerned and paniced expression, the heavy firearm known as XM214 would open her mouth ever so slightly, before within the next instant she was reprimanded by a harsh hand, flinching as soon as M2 began to speak, yelping lightly in slight surprise. She was ready for verbal attacks on herself, just like those sharp and overtly brutal comments expressed by all armed forces branches when they considered adopting her in various roles. She knew she was clumsy, that she was out of practice, but she couldn't help it. Some think she could have been used with some mercenary companies, but no action had been ever recorded with her, so she knew nothing of how to properly be of use in the military, her only barely passable experience being provided by her older and far more successful sister, M134. In either case, she'd practically cower, deflating and glancing down in absolute shame. She was wondering if anybody else was watching this spectacle going down, or blamed her for such a rookie mistake. Couldn't exactly imagine the heaviest of weapons to not be awkward and clumsy at all. Her energy was all but zapped away as she responded, sounding both embarrassed and afraid.

"A-Awawawawa...! I'msosorry, I'msoclumsyandstupidandinexperienced! I'lltrytoneverdoitagainIpromise, Iunderstand!"

If this were an anime, there would likely be tears in her eyes from how much shame she felt.

American-180, Vector, and Vityaz all clapped at the feat, while MP-57 could only leer at it, although not really feeling any ill will towards the Korean "SMG". However somewhere in the back of 180's head, although impressed by the display, was distraught at the destruction of school property. Fearing that the action might incur the wrath of one of the teachers, since she wouldn't put it above them in utilizing group punishment techniques on them. Regardless, she went along with the applause of her group and just smiled, not wanting her own insecurities to affect the others.

In the meantime, K7 could only look around somewhat confused. Looking down at her sign and begin to write furiously. A few seconds would pass before she finished and held it up the screen, now seemingly angry. It read as follows: "You guys left us in a frozen state for a month, what is wrong with you people?" Sighing, she erased her previous message and instead simply drew a thumbs up in support for her older sister.

USAS-12

Regria wrote:LOOK! LOOK WITH YOUR SPECIAL EYES

USAS spotted her sister walking over to her booth, and responded to her greeting with a blunt "Ey." and a short wave. With the ease of long practice, she casually ignored any sort of patronizing tone from the younger gun. She had seen all of K11's younger days, after all, so no matter how much K11 acted all USAS could think of was the shy little nerd she had been before. As K11 peeked into USAS' booth, the shotgun leaned out of the way a bit to let her sister take in her true masterpiece of training.

"I figured I might as well take this time to make somethin' actually useful, rather than just putting a bunch of random holes in a target like everyone else." USAS shrugged, then leaned much further out of the way to keep away from K11's gun.

Under her ever-present sunglasses, USAS glanced over at her sister's contribution to her masterpiece. A small smile made its way onto her otherwise passive face, and she chuckled. "Yeah, I must have forgotten to save a shell for the eye. Nice shot."

A thought slipped into her head, and USAS' chuckles started up again. "Wonder what the teachers will think about my art, this time."
