STATEMENT FROM THE ROOT ADMINISTRATOR OF OSIRIS:

Hello, people of Gameplay.

Adytus, Wrektopia, Kowassati, and Weast Jurmany were four members of our community who rose to prominence following the removal of The Almighty Jesus Whale from Osiris in 2016. Adytus's ten thousand posts on our board easily doubles the post count of the next highest user. They became Guardians of Osiris, and in Kowassati's case Vizier of Foreign Affairs. They were important assets to the community until their attempt to sink the Scroll of Horus during our most recent constitutional convention, after which they left the region entirely and headed to Lazarus for the most part.

The admin team has obtained evidence that these users, all this time, were aliases of other players: Feux was Adytus, A mean old man was Wrektopia, Stujenske was Kowassati, and Weast Jurmany was AMOM's close friend in real life. This is completely unacceptable, and this sort of duplicity has always been and will continue to be unwelcome in the Osiris Fraternal Order.

Effective immediately, the administration of the Osiris Fraternal Order has permanently banned the following users: Adytus, Wrektopia, Kowassati, Weast Jurmany, Feux, and Stujenske.

This is a mirror of the statement found on our off-site forum.

ADDENDUM: Stujenske, Kowassati, and Weast Jurmany added.

That definitely explains a lot. I can't believe I actually used to trust Adytus and Kowassati. To think that their perceived dedication to a sovereign Lazarus was a charade. I was ready to give The Pacific a second chance earlier in the year but this definitely proves that they don't ever deserve it.

Statement on Adytus and Kowassati

The Rejected Realms is concerned to learn about a clandestine project by two high-profile members of the Pacific operating under the aliases Adytus and Kowassati. We believe these actions were entirely unwarranted, given Osiris had not shown any hostility to the Pacific at the time the operation started. We support Osiris' right to self-governance by its natives and to chart out its own course in interregional affairs, free of nefarious foreign influences.

So the NPO decided it was not enough to try and force Osiris to cut ties with TBH, one of their strongest allies, but also to infiltrate it's government with no regards for Osiran sovereignty? So much for Pacifican respect for GCR sovereignty.

And it stands to reason, also, that if they've done it Osiris then they've done it to various other GCRs as well. They've infiltrated TNP in the past, I wouldn't be surprised if there were NPO plants in the region now.

I'd like to give NPO the benefit of the doubt and hope they deal with this maturely by punishing the culprits that have damaged their reputation. Let's hope they don't make me look like the fool for having faith in them.

Ask TBH how that worked out for them.

Yeah no. They'll probably "punish" them and then restore them to their positions after about a month or two, if they punish them at all. Something of this scale is likely not done by the individuals alone and probably supported by the NPO leadership. No "benefit of the doubt" is in place here.

I trusted Adytus and Wrektopia very much during their time in Osiris. To discover they were likely deceiving myself and the rest of the region is truly disappointing. I hope this was not a sanctioned act by the NPO, and instead another rogue operation by Feux in a sinker.

I think Adytus was an Officer in TRR for a time too... so this is probably a thing Feux has been doing for a while. Probably was a NPO initiative of some sort.

As a citizen of Osiris, and a concerned citizen of TRR, I am deeply troubled by these developments. Let's not see them be overlooked.

I think most people think that it was likely sanctioned. There were two people involved. The depth to which the identies were used implies that there had to be an operation. Its a wonder that one of them didn't some how get chosen for Delegate/Pharoah.

Either way its betrayal.

I do realize that what I hope, and what is likely true, are not the same thing. However, it is deeply disturbing to think that Pergamon, Xoriet, Severisen, and other NPO members that I consider friends may soon be at war with the sinker I call my one true home, a home that contains many more friends of mine. So, because of that, I am choosing to stay hopeful that the NPO and Osiris may somehow, against all odds, avoid escalation from this event.

If any group did this to the NPO, their home would collapse under the weight of the armies involved in retaliation, "sanctioned" or no.

And I cannot believe that the Emperor was not aware of this action, considering how long it lasted.

I'm sure they have some policy among the high ranking members of the NPO, especially with (probably from) the Emperor, about plausible deniability for exactly this kind of situation.
