I mean, the Red States are closer to being "Iran", given the pseudo-theocracy that's going on in the Bible Belt, for one. There's a lot of things to accuse the Blue States of, but being a Theocracy is not one of them.

Never forget that the Muslims literally made up a new meaningless name for him when they forgot the name of Adam's Firstborn.

"W-we made gains!"
No, try again 2020. Until then this blue wave is just a ripple.

I'm reminded of something I saw on Twitter earlier. The Tweets were about debating the alt-right, but the general point was "Why should we take advice from our opponents about how to beat them?" The very high IQ pop culture reference supporting this point was Scary Terry from Rick And Morty. Guy kept saying "You can run, but you can't hide, bitch", and in the end, Rick And Morty beat him by hiding.
"Yeah, well why are we taking this guy's advice on anything?"
"You got a really good point there Rick. Like, if the truth was that we could hide? It's not like he'd be sharing that information with us."
Why would Democrats take advice from Republican supporters?
Possibly by putting someone who isn't a meme in a position of authority?
And again your assumption is that the people saying this are your enemies who want your downfall at all costs.

It's sunk it. The Blue Wave was nothing but dems blowing smoke about how the entire country hated Trump now that we've had him for two years so they would go blue instead of red. Well here we are, with a slight Democratic majority, a few flipped districts, a Republican Senate in between legislation and the president, and a supreme court justice in the hospital.

Still hasn't sunk in. You will get there eventually.
