Underworld Empire/Diplomatic Paper Trail

Postby Anerikhan » Thu Nov 01, 2018 8:10 am

It’s been weeks since the syndicates that ruled the underworld across Asia and Russia banded together and took control of India and the surrounding states in a quick near bloodless series of coups and buyouts that would put many corporations and empires to shame. As the underworld within the new Amerikhan Syndicate becomes the forefront of trade and industry within our territories and begin to slowly take control of the smaller crime syndicates of the Asian and Middle Eastern underworlds many buy outs of small and medium sized chemical, oil, and drug companies are made as a front for money laundering across the civilized world. The Enforcers sailing the high seas raiding merchant routes across the Indian Ocean within protecting our own interests within our borders have their orders. The head of the syndicate Ivan Romanov and his right hand Kim Chi rule with an benevolent iron fist helping the people that help them hoping to clear the poverty stricken and war torn areas that they hold by bringing in their form of business to the people.

As the syndicate grows in strength, numbers, and size many of the higher ranking officers propose making deals with the more powerful asianic states. These states include Amurria, Jazebo, Indonesia, and Australia. Within the hour these four Gulfstreams will take off and head to the capitals of each of the nations to hopefully convince the governments of each to turn a blind eye to our dealings in each and set up shell corporations within these nations. Hopefully this will be the end of the paper trail that has caused many others to fall.

The Peacekeepers

Postby Amurria » Thu Nov 01, 2018 11:49 am

Outskirts of the former capital of A.M.V.N., 06:00 AM

Outside the city, two large trucks with speakers appeared, in one of them being the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Amurria. He got out of the truck and said the following:

"People of the capital, allow our troops to enter the city, and we will help you rebuild your country. But we cannot do that while you do not cooperate with us. So let us enter the city!"

To which the response was a simple: "Screw you!".
Soon artillery vehicles were brought and a shelling of the city began. The main peacekeeping forces were away from the capital, helping rebuild the infrastructure. So, parts of the "Anti-Terrorist Division" were sent as back up. After one hour of bombing, most of the city was left in ruins, the only buildings still standing were the government buildings. Advance towards them began slowly.

Former capital of A.M.V.N., 07:05 AM

The advance began slowly, the heavy tanks making their way through the city, breaking the dead-like silence. Their threads slowly scaling the abandoned cars left on the streets, and the rubble that now makes up a lot of the city. The infantry were going ahead, searching the rubble for survivors, but to no avail. All were dead. Either because of the bombardment, or because they were trying to run away from the anarchists. They entered the old metro lines, which survived the destruction.
"N.O. Command, this is PKF 1, we are entering the subway in search of survivors. Prepare to send medical teams."
"Understood PKF 1, medical teams on stand by."
They began the slow advance into the abandoned station. On the ground there were a few newspaper pages, the main titles reading "The government is gone!" and "Anarchy is taking over the country!". The soldiers kept walking forward, eventually coming by the ticket booth. Shining their lights inside, they found a timed bomb. It was set to explode soon.

"3..2..1!" Said one of the captains of the terrorist forces as he watched the station explode in the distance.
"These Amurrians stand no chance against us." Said another one.
They went in front of the government building, trying to look around for snipers, then began shouting countless insults towards the Amurrian soldiers, and the citizens they saved. They then retreated back into the now-fortified building. They were called by the head of their armed forces.
"Do these guys present any threat to us?"
"No, but they sure are an annoyance. Maybe we should make a deal with them."
"A deal? With these filthy foreigners? Nonsense!"
"Do you have any objections. soldier?"
"N-No sir!"
"Good. Send them a message telling them we'll consider surrendering if they give us 100,000,000 Yens."
"As you wish."
The message was written on a piece of paper, which was put inside and artillery shell, fired from the top of the building to the outskirts of the city.
"Let's hope they respond to it."

"Oh shit it's gonna ex-!" said the soldier before the bomb exploded.
The explosion from the station was visible from anywhere in the city, and the soldiers in the outskirts saw it.
"They were killed by a bomb?!" Shouted the commander of the 4th Infantry Division. "That means we must pay them back."
"Sir, I don't think they will fall for the same trick they did to us. Plus they don't seem to want to leave the building."
"It doesn't matter. We'll make them negotiate."
And, quite ironically, as soon as he said that, the artillery shell that was launched landed. They opened it and inside was the following message:

To the Amurrian dogs, we are willing to negotiate surrender terms, if you give us 100,000,000 Yen. Do it within 1 hour.

"See, they submitted to us. Now, 100,000,000 Yen is a pretty big sum, but we can manage it."
The commander walked slowly to the phone, picked it up, and said the following:
"Connect me with the head of the National Bank of Amurria."
"Yes, sir."
"Kuroda Tadao here, who am I talking to?"
"I need you to print 100,000,000 Yen in 100 Yen banknotes, quickly. This is an order from the Imperial Army. Do it quickly and send it to the city of New Seoul."
"Will be done."
He then called to New Seoul:
"You're gonna receive a package from Edo, send it here."

Outskirts of the former capital, 08:00 AM

A soldier came running with a package in his hands.
"It arrived!" the commander said almost happy. He then took the package and placed it on the same table as a metal briefcase.
"But why have them print the money?"
"You'll see, now put it into that briefcase. We'll send it to them the same way they sent that letter to us. Through mortar fire."
"Understood."
They soon began putting the money into the briefcase and, one minute later, launched it towards the terrorist-occupied building.
"Take that you dogs!" He shouted angrily, then turned to the radio operators "Tell all the soldiers from the city to evacuate."

"The time's almost up."
The briefcase landed on the roof of the building, destroying the mortar that fired the message. Two guards opened it and saw the money.
"The money is in the briefcase. Shall we bring it to you?"
"Yes."
The closed it and began walking towards the main hall of the building. As soon as they entered the building, the guards on the roof were shot by snipers and armed drones. The two soldiers kept walking, unknowingly to them, those behind them, and on the outsides of the building were killed. When they reached the central hall, they saw the leader of the terrorist armed forces shot in the head.
"Served him right." Said the first of them, holding the briefcase, he then laid it down. "The money is all ours."
"Nice! Half of it is mine! I can finally move to a stable country!"
When they took all the money from the briefcase, they saw a ticking clock on the surface of it. It said "00:10".
"Well shi-" They said before the bomb exploded, causing a mini-nuclear explosion, razing most of the already destroyed city.
It is a victory for Amurria, who has already began rebuilding the infrastructure of the nation, and moved the administrative capital of it to New Seoul.

Officially, the former territory of A.M.V.N. now belongs to the Empire of Amurria, as a protectorate. It will remain to be seen if life in it will become better under their new rulers.

Inside The Minjokian Blue House

It was 8:00 when the President of Minjok, President Kim Tae-Hoon woke up from his slumber. As he got ready for a day of hard work, he hear a knock.
"Who is it?" inquired President Kim Tae-Hoon as he put on his tie.
"It's your secretary!" yelled a panicked voice.
Mr. Kim could hear the distress tone and promptly ask "Whats wrong?".
The voice yelled back with even more distress "It's the telegrams sent by Amurria and Jazado. They are at war and are trying to get us on their side!"
Mr. Kim wasn't surprised a bit from this news. It has happened through out history. Two powerful states bickering with one another and a another smaller, weaker state caught in the middle. Historically, this has happen to Korea too. But, what he was worried about was the survival of Minjok. Chose the wrong side and you'll be executed or if your lucky, exiled. Force to see your people being governed by a puppet state. He knows there is no denying Jazado (and China) was Korea's historical ally. But he wanted to pursue an alliance with Amurria. Then Mr. Kim remembered a old Chinese proverb.

If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.

Then he knew what he had to do. He gathered his most trusted advisers and had them voice their concerns and their arguments. After a heated, passionate debate, they calmed down and after a moment of silence, they had reached a conclusion.

So then Mr. Kim, sat there, writing "Dear" and coming to a stop. He told himself this proverb

The journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step

And so, he began writing.

The Final Decision

Postby Minjok » Fri Nov 02, 2018 9:48 pm

Dear Amurria

Today we are formally aligned to our own day in Amurria. President Kim Tae Hoon and think through my trusted advisers and officially reached the conclusion that declared war on Jazado

We did not come to this decision without reason. That would be foolish. Admiral Yi was not fight the Amurrian because he hated the Amurrian, He fought to protect Korea. If China were to invade, Admiral Yi would align himself to the Amurrian. Secondly, we are formally part of the Co-Prosperity Sphere. We joined that and we do not have the intentions of fight against our allies. We joined with our own free will and will pursue closer ties with Amurria

Those who cannot forgive others break the bridge over which they themselves must pass

PARLIAMENT HILL
1:12 PM
THE FEDERATION OF LETSKIA

"We simply cannot allow this blatant transgression against our people! We must approve the proposal of enacting sanctions against New Karelograd. With our connection to the European mainland, it'll hurt them far more then it will hurt us. Chancellor, you must ratify the proposal."

The man speaking was William Smithson, the Director of Economics in Letskia. He, alongside several other members of the Directory, sat in a conference room. There was an air of uncertainty and anxiety in the air as Chancellor Jacob Henderson sat on the far side of the room, paying close attention to the presentation being delivered. The DIrector was proposing enacting sanctions on New Karelograd and the establishment of air patrols in and around the territory of Letskia. The Assembly chamber had been a hotspot for political discussion in light of the recent occurrences of Karelogradian aggression and imperialism to the south.

"We have to talk about the rampant imperialism. Ignoring the problem won't make it go away, and surely if we keep letting it slide, it will bite us in the ass," said the Director of Armed Forces, quite bluntly.

"The Assembly is scared, Jacob. They don't know what to do. We hardly managed to keep a majority government with how hectic international relations have been. We're under a lot of pressure to start being more-,"

"It's the people's will, Director. If that is what they demand of us; we have to adapt," said the Chancellor, interrupting the Director. "Take a seat, Mr. Smithson. I'll sign the proposal. We've already made the arrangements to reinforce the Letskian border and maritime territory."

Smithson sat down in his seat with a sigh. The positions of the Directory were all elected; each Director was well aware of their position in the government. Jacob Henderson had served as Chancellor for 15 years and had faced the greatest risk to the support of his electorate. Despite a reputation of internationalism and non-intervention, the nation was beginning to undergo a massive social and legislative overhaul.

"I'll release a statement regarding the issue of imperialism. You're right, Director. Those sanctions need to happen, but first and foremost we need to care for our people. A constant wartime economy is not sustainable," the Chancellor said as he shifted his attention to regard the Director of Welfare and Social Services. "Mr. Clarke, we may need to pass a legislative act to begin rationing goods and services to the people of Letskia. How likely is the Assembly to be happy to hear that?"

"Not likely, sir."

"Very well. Make it happen."

The Director nodded and stood, exiting the room and rejoining his personal aide to begin procedures. The meeting had continued for another hour or so, the subjects discussed consisting of Letskia's further actions on the world stage. A draft for the speech regarding southern imperialism had been created, but the topic soon turned to Letskia's unethical connections to powers that would seem wholly contradictory to Letskia's reputation.

"Henderson, what of our alliances? If we call upon them it will shed a very unpopular light on our nation's connections. It will be devastating to our reputation and international support.," spoke the Director of Armed Forces. "We must cut all relations with them. It's better to be alone than to associate ourselves to that abomination."

"That will not be necessary, Director. You know what we discussed today, and I implore that you perform your duties. There has been a development on the situation of Letskia's friends. The Independent African State of Saint Ryvern has contacted us personally. I've received a letter from President Chinua Azebry of Saint Ryvern, he has requested a state visit," stated the Chancellor with confidence. The Directors in the room seemed to ease up and relax, aware of Saint Ryvern's many shared values with the Federation.

"I don't support our controversial allegiance, but this is good news, Chancellor. You mustn't let this slip," said the Director of Administration.

"The Chancellor has shared the details with me. Saint Ryvern offers economic and military assistance, in exchange for the same of course. This is an invaluable proposal, and we've deemed it necessary to arrange transportation of the Chancellor to the Presidential Palace in Saint Ryvern along with a group of delegates and representatives," spoke the Director of Foreign Affairs.

"Indeed. The telegram has already been forwarded to the Office of the Ryvernian President. We've begun preparations for their response. It will be a show of good faith to offer to visit Saint Ryvern and I'm confident this will provide the boon we need," the Chancellor stood. "I will be placing Frederick Humphrey, the Director of Foreign Affairs, to oversee the executive duties of the Chancellor in my absence. I have full faith that you will serve this nation steadfastly," the Chancellor said.

"This meeting is adjourned. You're dismissed."

The Directory had exchanged comments and remarks on their way out. The Chancellor shook Mr. Humphrey's hand and escorted him out of the conference room. He called in his personal aide after the Directory had taken their leave.

"Yes, Chancellor?"

"Are you aware of my growing unpopularity amongst the Directory, and the Assembly at large?" said the Chancellor.

"Yes, sir."

"And? What do you make of it?"

"You do what you must, sir. I can respect that."

The Chancellor looked thoughtful for a moment before retrieving a letter from his inner suit pocket and handing it to the aide.

"Good. Please do make the necessary arrangements to forward this letter to our esteemed friends in the Dominance."

"Yes, sir," the aide said as he accepted the letter and left the room in a hurry.

The Chancellor was left standing idly, looking out through the observation windows over the Assembly chambers as the Director of Welfare and Social Services proposed the passage of a rationing bill to the Assembly.

The Congress officially states that New Karelograd will be colonizing the Region of New Foundland and Labrador. The following annexation orders have been proposed

1. Newfoundland and Labrador shall be able to elect Congress delegates.

2. All people living in Newfoundland and Labrador shall have the same rights as any other person in New Karelograd.

3. K.A.F will be stationed in the region in order to enforce rule over the area. Any resistance will be put down.

4. Any form of protest will result in serious punishment or death of the protestors.

St Johns, New Foundland and Labrador.

Upon landing, the KAF was greeted with heavy militia resistance. Ever since the purges began, most of the political parties had come here, To Newfoundland and Labrador. This is why it was so important. -Log of Commander Vladimir Ulreshnov

In the next hours, the new KV-2 Land Battleships had arrived. The rebel forces proved no match for these huge tanks and quickly fled to the main city of St Johns. The fighting was heavy and the KAF lost many lives, but again, the KV-2´s annihilated the opponent.-Log of Commander Vladimir Ulreshnov.

-A story from the 38th platoon of the 1st Army Fighting Bears.-

¨Sir, we´re under heavy fire!¨. Says Private Stanislav Voryutkov. ¨Those traitors have us pinned down!¨. That second he was shot, directly in the head, his limp body lying right next to Starshina Volotsky. It seemed over to him. His men were dropping left and right. He was lost. He decided it was best to go out fighting. He yelled ¨All men, charge!¨. This was to not only his platoon but to everyone in the area. In a split second, URA´s overpowered the guns. They were doing it! They were going to make it! He then realized to jump behind a rock and saw that there were only 15 people left. He prayed, to god that something could help them. He knew that in seconds his life would be over. He closed his eyes, and there was a loud bang.

he opened them. He saw KV-2´s, swarming him and his little troops. He was so relieved, he´d get to see his family again. He sat behind the rock and cried, cried that he had made it, cried for all that died, and cried for his motherland, who would now gain this newly colonized land. He was later given order of St George, A high-class award in the Karelogradian Empire for his bravery. And now, New Karelograd has obtained its first colony.

New Osaka's lights were shining brightly into the night, making the moon seem like an old light in comparison with the bring neon lights of the many corporate buildings. Isuzu was looking out the balcony into the city, it looked like the terrorist attack a few days ago never happened, it resumed it's life, with an exception: the Chinese District was almost day and night set on fire, and all entrances into it, be them on the surface, or underground, were heavily guarded. The city had a strange beauty to it, so did the Palace, which was built in such a way that it can hold out as a fortress in case of a siege of the city. It has metro connections to each district, and can receive or deploy soldiers within 10 minutes of an incident, due to the permanent presence of an Imperial regiment of 10,000 soldiers.

The victory in Korea was everywhere in the news, praising the peacekeeping troops of the Empire for bringing peace to that lawless region. The New Osaka media was a bit more different than the rest, also showing news from other countries. The two biggest TV companies were the INTVC, commonly known as ITV, the Imperial National Television Company, opened in 1974, during the time of the Republic, is the second oldest television company in the Empire, the first one being the FETV, Far Eastern Television, opened in 1949 by the Imperial Government with the help of European investors. These two both have offices in New Osaka, two tall skyscrapers, likely competing.

New Osaka used to be a small group of villages, but it was decided in 1971 that this place will be perfect for a city, and so plans were made, and companies began investing in the city. Thus the Business District was born. The Imperial Palace used to be a small, abandoned temple when construction began, but it was turned into the fortress it is today, so that the government can supervise the growing city. The other districts were built starting from the 1980s, for the growing residential demand in the area. Looking at a newspaper, the following prices were shown for residences in the "New Town", for foreigners:

Type of Residence
Price
4-room Apartment
12,000,000 YEN
3-room Apartment
9,000,000 YEN
2-room Apartment
2,000,000 YEN
1-room Apartment
500,000 YEN
1-room Apartment without Living Room
80,000 YEN

(OOC: Couldn't write more, but this is to show a bit of life in New Osaka)

"The next station is: Kung'nin Guen. The doors on the right side will open. Change here for lines 9, 11, 26, 40, 56 and 72."

After just one week in Akarea, it was immediately clear to Aaron Jensen that the Akarese were all about speed. To be more precise, this factoid was clear from the moment the plane touched down; The non-stop current of Kaêpar's millions had taken him clean off his feet, off on a tirade around the immense concrete sprawl at a rate of knots. Everybody seemed to run everywhere, or at the very least walk at a runner's pace - the friendly, slow-paced nature of Letskia's populace was nowhere to be seen. Even the public transport, which back in Letskia tended to bumble about at leisurely paces, had been precision-engineered for speed and efficiency to a degree unseen by his eye so far, an eye which he fancied to be quite well travelled. As his thoughts returned to the present, and the blur of passing lights outside of the train carriage slowed to reveal another shining-white subterranean transport complex, he slapped his pockets to ensure their contents were untouched, before lifting his brown briefcase from the rack and moving forward to the doors, which promptly sprung open with all the enthusiasm of a six year old child at Christmas, or an under-bridge rough sleeper stood before a discarded crate of bitters.

"This is: Kung'nin Guen. Change here for lines 9, 11, 26, 40, 56 and 72. Exit here for Yongen Academy, the Guen Fine Arts Museum, Aikao Shopping Street and Kung'nin RK Station. This is a line 32 express service eastbound for Kaô Chi' via Fu' Tabao."

In this one week, Aaron had also learnt much of the Akarese themselves. They were hard-working, generally patriotic, fond of tradition, and otherwise incredibly boring. They would rise from their slumber in a matchbox apartment, to ride as tinned sardines to work and back, stopping by for food during both journeys. Once back at home, they would wash, watch television, and go to sleep just to repeat the whole cycle all over again the next day. Worse, anybody else caught deviating from this soulless rotation had a tendency to become somewhat of a negative spectacle - that, or simply outcast.

Aaron, however, was an outcast for a totally different reason - he was a white man in a sea of Akarese.

In the modern political climate, the word "racist" has morphed into an ugly insult, and it was on this basis Aaron refused to use the word, lest he give in to it's contemporary connotations and their associated personality quirks. Faced by the full brunt of an Akarean attitude, however, there was simply no other word to use. Even before he had left Letskia, his attempts to secure a job prior to his arrival at the border (one of the many strict immigration requirements for foreign nationals) frequently failed simply on the basis of his nationality in the eyes of his would-be employers. It was when he turned his attention to the capital city, however, that he started to find light in the tunnel - "The city kids will want whitey teaching whitey-tongue", his good friend Ken had repeatedly insisted back in Letskia, and in many ways he was right. Most, if not all of his job offers had mentioned how his native-speaker expertise and cultural exposure would enhance his teaching skills - by-speak, he recognised, for blatant racial preference. Not that it mattered, of course, since it was in his favour.

Six seconds passed. Halfway up the escalator to the surface, he audibly gasped at his mental remark. How could I think that?? Damnit! They're already getting to me... He hurried the despicable thoughts out of his head and took off for work, totally oblivious to the fact that in rejecting one Akarean personality trait, his new walking speed manifested another.

It was a Friday in early November, yet it was not cold. Equatorial geography ensures that the Akarese are exposed to the year-round equatorial heat that Akarea's tourists crave. After just one week, the work days were already passing by in colourful, blurry bursts. That Friday, wholly unremarkable up until this precise moment, passed by in just the same fashion, right up until the end of the day when Mr. Yiun, the noticeably loud mathematics teacher from across the hallway, entered the classroom with a polite bow - an eerie departure from his usual demeanour, which typically involved enthusiastically bellowing mathematical formulae so that it could be heard even down the hallway.

"Da'bu'xiao, Mister Jensen." He speaks broken English with a heavy oriental accent. As he crossed the room, Aaron noticed how his pinstripe shirt was tucked into brown trousers, held up by grey suspenders to his shoulders, upon which sat a narrow bony head bespectacled with wire-frames that looked to have been stolen straight from the 1970s. He spoke once more, slightly louder now that he was within the confines of the classroom. "Ah, where will you going tonight?" Aaron couldn't work out whether to be more surprised that one of his peers was asking him a legitimate question that didn't involve his skin, or that it was naturally assumed that he would be going out after work on a Friday evening. The shock was so much, in fact, that he was only able to stammer out a half-answer as his mind raced laps on this conundrum.

"I, uh... ah...was pla-planning on, just heading home a-and-"

Yiun pouted. "Oh, Mister Jensen! You would not be staying home on a Friday? Rest of department go for drink." Pulling his hands out of the pockets in his suspender-hoisted trousers, he proceeded to finger-mime the process of taking the train to a bar. "Local bar. Is name Lianguen. Good time, every time. Is little tradition, you see? You come?"

Aaron pondered on this for a moment, thinking it over. One the one hand, he could simply go home, wash, watch television, and sleep. Since it was a Friday, he could even watch television further into the evening, perhaps presenting an opportunity to indulge in some Akarean cinema; The metro trains, caked stiff in brightly coloured advertisements, seemed to frequently push the latest and greatest box-office productions into the subterranean limelight - surely, that wouldn't be the case if the films weren't popular? Alternatively, the situation he had been presented with was a total first since his entry into Akarea. If his peers would genuinely consider inviting him to their frequent watering-hole, there must be some departmental interest in removing the cultural barrier between himself and the others, and, come to think of it, Yiun was by far the least aggressive towards Aaron during his first week. Did they genuinely want to introduce him into their circle, even after a solid week of total discrimination? Or was it some kind of cruel joke? Down either of these threads of thought, did he have anything to lose? Concluding that he did not, he offered a firm nod to Yiun.

Yiun's pout was immediately exchanged for a beaming grin. "Oh, is good! You come now!" Before Aaron could even gather his thoughts, he found himself being propelled out of the door by all five feet and four inches of Mister Yiun, out of the back of the school building and back to the train station in record time - not a word of Aaron's protests, in English nor Akarean, seemed to reach Yiun's comically large ears.

"This is place. All people other is already being here for minutes, uhh... twen...ty."

Aaron's eyebrows rose. "What?" Speaking louder, Yiun began to repeat himself, before Aaron cut him off. "I do speak Akarean, you know."

"Ah. Am apology. Uh, Kwa'zhou. Dubi'zien'lan gui hong ku'yen chiun'gung'han'lao wai'chi." Yiun's voice echoed off of the walls of the narrow street. Although the sun was high in the sky, the tall buildings and the street's northward orientation saw both Aaron and Yiun cast into shadow, their path lit only by the patchwork of neon lights above, swaying slightly in the humid breeze. Bicycles, air-conditioning boxes and strangely clean bins could be seen down the many backstreets-of-backstreets the two passed, while the buildings of the backstreet itself mostly consisted of restaurants, bars, and clubs - clubs of a kind which one ought not to take children to, although most were closed, or at least only just beginning to open, due to the hour.

They had taken the 26 train south for two stops to a place called Hengshin Lung, a trip that had cost them just 44 Rûkiyi each - the immense value of the public transport in Kaêpar' seemed to make no sense in comparison to the spotless stations and unusually fast trains, which, according to his smartphone's speedometer app, frequently exceeded 120 kilometres per hour. After a brief interlude of mobile internet research, it turned out that the Kaêpar' Transit Authority was able to charge such minuscule fares in part due to government funding, and in part due to the income from the thousands of advertisements that caked the exterior of each and every one of the network's ten-carriage trains. The biggest contributor, however, turned out to be the colossal ridership of their trains - the Akarean Census estimated that between 80 and 95 million people ride at least one of Kaêpar's 183 train lines every day.

The city's mind-numbing population was solely responsible for many other unique cultural aspects. The citizens of Kaêpar' do not live in houses, Aaron soon realised, because it appeared that there were no houses. Instead, they live in tiny apartments, similar to the one Aaron lived in, as it was so kindly arranged for him by the school. All who he had spoken to insisted it was a luxurious apartment by Akarean standards, but the floor space of just twelve square meters spoke in the contrary. Allegedly, some Akarese would live in apartments of nine, or even just six square meters, relying on bunk-beds with a desk at the bottom and a bed at the top, and communal bathrooms. Some especially unfortunate citizens did not have their own homes at all, instead opting to surf around the city's infamously affordable pod-hotels and inns. The prevalence of small apartments in turn led to the prevalence of cheap yet delicious restaurants and bars, since most apartments simply couldn't fit cooking facilities within their tiny confines, although some would have microwaves - Aaron's was one such apartment with the microwave luxury, and through the week he had lived on noodle-pots and tinned soups from the convenience store across the street from his complex. The thought of life in Akarea without a microwave made him feel deeply uncomfortable.

The advantage to this dystopian-style living, however, was the associated price tag. It is true that the Akarese have a good sense for value, and as such the "matchbox life" can often cost as little as 15,000 Rûkiyi per week. For comparison, Aaron's weekly wage was well over Ʀ150,000, leaving him with over Ʀ130,000 to play with every single week, taking the monthly utility bills into account. Ʀ130,000 could buy you, for instance, a second-hand microvan, one thousand bottles of beer, or a train ticket to the opposite end of the country. After a fortnight of saving, Ʀ260,000 could afford you a brand new microvan, an ungodly amount of alcohol, or a holiday to Amurria. A month of saving, with Ʀ520,000 in pocket, one could do naught but laugh. The amount of disposable income in the hands of the Akarean populace is simply staggering.

Such abundant spending leads to a very unique urban culture. Many Akarese have fast, expensive cars, well-kept tailored clothes and a fine woman to their arm, yet they live in a small apartment and dine on instant noodles and canned coffee. The teachers of corridor 2 at Yongen Academy were no different, and the tradition of going to the Lianguen in Hengshin Lung every friday was no more than proof in the flesh. As Aaron and Yiun waited outside the bar, many of the other teachers from the academy arrived in their own cars, most of which were expensive Paisaos and Mitsubishis. They pulled over and stepped out, after which it became obvious that most of them had stopped by their homes to change. Many were wearing designer garments, while few opted for more humble dressings, and all of a sudden, Aaron was feeling very out of place. Just has he began to feel truly unwelcome, however, he turned to see Yiun adjusting his suspenders, their buckles reflecting the neon rainbow hanging around them, and suddenly he felt at ease once more. He could already name all of the other teachers who had arrived. Driving the Paisao Type 4 with a huge fur coat draped over her back was Mrs. Cheng, who spoke in a short, unheard conversation with Mr. Huang, perched on the back of his Mitsubishi Spirit, before the two approached and exchanged pleasantries with Jensen and Yiun. From around the corner which concealed the train station came Mr. Suk, Mr. Shang and Mrs. Ti. By his counting, that was everybody due to attend.

With everybody met and greeted, the group moved inside the bar, where the refreshing wave of cool air from the air conditioner strapped to the wall over the door blessed their heads, before they took a seat at one of the rearmost booths in the bar. The bar was also small, with two booths at the back, four tables in the center of the floor, and three barstools at the bar itself. The whole room smelled strongly of beer, and the upholstery on the seats seemed straight from the 1970s, making Yiun the only one who looked in place after all. Bamboo plants lined the walls, while tapestries depicting the wonders of northern Akarea, a mountainous and (to the cityfolks) mysterious region, with epic folklore and ancient arts to boot. The bar's name, Lianguen, literally meant Dragon's Lair, after all - the artwork was nothing but perfectly fitting.

Soon, everybody was comfortable, and the first round of drinks was gone in an instant. Mr. Huang talked about his son, who had just earned his brown-belt in Ting-Chien, while Mrs. Cheng complained of one of her more unruly students whilst rolling her head around the thick-fur lining of her hood in a vague attempt at dramatic posture. Meanwhile, Mr. Suk and Mr. Shang discussed their favourite movies, and in passing highly recommended Lusi Lu to Aaron, after he voiced his interest in getting familiarised with Akarean cinema. All were interested to hear of Aaron's stories of life in Letskia, a country outside of Asia and therefore outside of the purview of most Akarese, and therefore one of wildly exotic culture from their perspective. He told tales of his childhood in the rolling green fjords by his father's farmhouse, which they likened to the famous plains of southern Akarea, except they were surprised to learn of Letskia's low temperatures, and tales of losing coats and the resulting parental scorn. As much of a learning experience as it was for his Akarean peers, who had seemed to drop their discriminatory preconceptions for just an evening at least, it was also a strong nostalgia trip for Aaron, who was beginning to feel somewhat homesick. It was true, after all, that he had exchanged many home comforts for cultural enrichment. He missed a hot coffee on a cold morning, and a quiet commute to his old workplace in Horizon. He even felt a small surge of emotion whenever he would think of cars driving on the right, and the Letskian flag was enough to bring a tear to his eye. These concerns, however, he kept quiet, for the night was precious, and his already-poor reputation as silly foreigner was precious even more so.

Soon, it was about time to leave. The band of educational benefactors began their drunken stumble back to their relative abodes, laughing, joking, and singing songs from their childhood. Aaron, of course, knew not these songs, and therefore chose to provide improvised percussion in the background, which was met by the others with an overwhelmingly positive response. His name, even, was similar to the Akarean word for drum, "Aorung", which was quipped by multiple people during the impromptu musical performance. Those who had driven would leave their cars parked in Hengshin Lung overnight, to be collected the morning after - theft in Akarea is practically unheard of, thanks to many recent social reforms and a capable police force, Mrs. Ti told Aaron when he inquired. After stopping Mr. Suk from falling down the escalator into the station, everybody said their goodbyes and took their respective trains home. Both Aaron and Yiun took the northbound 26 as far as Kung'nin Guen, where Aaron bid his farewells to Yiun, and thanked him for his hospitality, before changing for the westbound 32. He soon arrived back in Lian, and making his way back to the familiar small confines of the apartment, collapsed onto his bed and turned to lay on his back, watching the ceiling fan dance its aerodynamic ballet.

The evening had been a learning experience, he fancied. It seemed that the Akarese were perhaps not as boring as he had initially perceived. Rather, their naturally conservative nature meant one almost had to win them over, if only they would present the opportunity - he considered himself lucky that his chance had arisen so early on, and that he had chosen to reach for it. In a way, though, the Akarese had also won him over; Just like the Letskians, it turned out, they enjoyed a night on the drinks, and just like the Letskians they sang songs from a time gone by. Just like the Letskians, they had families, hobbies, dreams and troubles. "Just like Letskians..." he thought out loud, before turning over to be promptly whisked away by the reach of the sleepy void.

General Recap
The Assyrian Liberation had hit a roadblock in Lebanon and The Sinai Peninsula which put much more capable resistance then its neighbours. However with Byzantine superiority on all fronts the conflict was coming to a close. In the Northwest of the nation in the Balkans a referendum was put before the nations of Albania, Macedonia and Bulgaria to join the Commune. Albania was a tight vote with seemingly equal support in both fronts. The Pro-Union ACP (Albanian Communist Party) was up against the NEFA Allegite in the area (National Europa Front). Macedonia seeing the Commune as their Greek kinfolk overwhelmingly voiced support for the union. Bulgaria though staunchly resisted the idea of what they called a thinly veiled ultimatum of annexation from the Commune and called upon the international community to come to their aid should war be declared. The Promises of Georgian soil by New Karelograd seem to have been nothing but false. With the Letskian denouncement of NK Imperialism there was hope of containment of the ever expanding empire. A direct challenge to Karelogradian expansion however would send the strongest message.

The votes we coming in as planned. Kordatos had been briefed on the situations in Macedonia and Albania. The latter drawing his most attention. The vote had to be secured if he hoped for peaceful integration into the Commune. He dismissed the warning signs in Bulgaria as a problem for the near future. Something to gauge and feel for after the rest of Assyria was mopped up and more importantly. Until after the fate of Albania was decided.

Mobius One wanted to go home. He was sick of the heat and coarseness of the desert. Even the breeze coming off the sea only made him that much more homesick for the emerald plains of his home in Greece. But his squadron was part of the task force with orders to subdue Lebanon and end the fighting in Assyria. Only the sandbox far from the cities remained.

“Iris this is Mobius One. Calling in drone strike on these coordinates. 34.051333, 35.988192. Hostile encampment sighted no civilians in the current AO”
Static cut out with the now familiar voice of Iris.
“Clear Mobius One strike inbound”
The steadily growing roar of an engine cut across the mountains nearby. Mobius One saw the enemies camped down by the lake scatter and disperse and cussed to himself. With the airforce in the state it was stealth air attacks had been severely limited. The full rollout wasn't expected for another few months. With training it would likely take at least half a year before the airforce was in any shape to take on a capable power. The jet flew over and struck the target. Destroying the equipment the insurgents left behind but with no actual deaths. “Iris, No confirmed casualties. Fighters dispersed. Were tracking them now”
“Understood Mobius One”
This had been the progression of the conflict. The enemy moved and shifted with the sands. But they were running out of room to hide.

The Sinai was a similar story with one key difference. UN troops securing the Suez Canal were uncomfortable with the ever growing presence of Legion forces so close to the Canal. No fighting had broken out yet but the threat was there. UN humanitarian aid sent in water to the people living there that more often than not ended up in insurgent hands. The idea shifted from protracted conflict to war of attrition.

Byzantine Held Border Checkpoint.
Egypt.
Another water truck came across the dust road. The light of dawn displayed in shades of red and orange over the dunes to the east. Before the guards saw the UN symbol on the truck and let them pass. But this time they were met with a team of 4 armed men who shouted out at the driver “Inspection” confused but keeping a level head the driver shouted out. “Interfering with a UN aid truck is an International Crime.” The soldier disregarded him and his men pulled the supplies out. Packs and packs of water bottles mostly with a bit of food. The soldier told the driver that the bottles had tested positive for contaminants and could not be distributed. The rest of the men began to pour them out into the sand. Shocked the driver stared at what he saw as madness before being told to move along. Dumbfounded he drove forward before finally turning around. After all he had no supplies to deliver now. His co-pilot picked up the radio.

New Osaka Imperial Palace, Senatorial Chamber, New Osaka, 12:00

"The UDSR has fallen into chaos!" said the War Minister, almost celebrating.
"Just in time as we integrated Vladivostok!"
"What about the state of it's cities?"
"They're going into martial law, preparing for self-rule, unless they will become part of another nation."
"We'll help them. We waited years to enact this plan, but let's do it now! Initiate Operation Dragon Rising!"
The government members both mourned the fall of the UDSR, and celebrated the rise of an opportunity for the Empire to extend it's influence.
Preparations began for the operation, a peacekeeping force of 12,000 soldiers is to be deployed in southern Sakhlin, and another one of 48,000 soldiers in Kamchatka.

Southern Sakhlin, 50 KM from Hokkaido, 19:00 PM

"N.O. Command, this is RSI 1, we have landed on the island of Sakhlin, preparing to advance."
"Copy that RSI 1, advance towards the northern end of the island, you are free to eliminate any resistance. Good luck!"
"Thank's N.O. Command!"

The soldiers began driving along the main roads, passing through villages and small cities, establishing relations with the locals, who more than happily accepted Amurrian rule. That was until they reached one of the bigger cities. The local government decided to refuse Amurria's overlordship, and they entered a defensive state, the local police force acting as an army. The Amurrian Army was split into two: 6,000 were to advance towards the north of the island, then help in the capturing of Kamchatka, and the rest 6,000 are to siege and bomb the city until it submits. Jamming devices have been placed, cutting the city's contact with the outside world. The first fight in this operation has begun.

Battle of Sakhlin, 21:00 PM

The soldiers were preparing their night vision equipment, and their radios.
"Test, One, Two" said Takeru, a newly recruited soldier, in his radio.
"It works, prepare for the attack." Said Alexei, a Russian sergeant who joined Amurria's military ranks in 2012.
The night had settled, in the distance one could see the barely shining lights of the city. They made a bad decision choosing to defy the Empire, as they were about to learn.
"Begin the attack soldiers! 天皇陛下万歳!"
The soldiers, together with their mounted infantry began descending towards the city, it's defenders scared by the sound of 3,000 soldiers running towards them, shaking the ground itself. The other 3,000 were inside jeeps, trucks, and tanks, who began firing at the city aimlessly. In a sentence, the army unleashed it's beast mode. All the training they went through prepared them for moments like this, this was the purpose of the 1st Infantry Regiment "Rising Sun" after all, to die and pave the way for the other army units.
The charge continued until they entered the city, it's defenders intimidated, and the civilians running for their lives. The tanks' barrels were aimed at the government building, the tallest in this small city. When they all fired, the ground shook and the building fell almost instantly. The police force was fascinated. Some of them surrendered, and were greeted as brothers by the Imperial soldiers, but the rest kept fighting, and were shot on sight.
The city fell into anarchy, being bombed to ruins, but by midnight it was controlled by the army, so was the island of Sakhlin. The battle of Sakhlin was finished, now it was time for Kamchatka.

Aftermath

The radio was playing in one of the military jeeps, the soldiers sitting around a fire, enjoying the local food, and planning a reconstruction plan for one of the many Soviet-Era buildings.

"Although the cities of Sakhlin have accepted our overlordship, forcefully when needed, there is still some resistance in the region. Be warned, there is still resistance. Just now one of our food convoys has been attacked and raided. Your mission is to secure the main roads. The site of New Sapporo was attacked a few minutes ago, killing 20 workers and injuring 40 more. Be safe out there soldiers, N.O. Command out!"

As soon as the dispatch ended, movement began to be heard in the distance. The soldiers got their guns and began looking around, carefully.
"Sakhlin Command, we have unidentified movement in the area, suspecting rebels. Is there any other unit in our vicinity?"
"No, there isn't. Be careful, you're facing separatists."
"Understood."
The soldiers got inside their jeep and quickly began driving towards the local base of operations. When near it, they heard a ticking from the car, and quickly drove it into another direction, jumping out. The car exploded.

The Pretorian Circle Building, Capital city of Zanderberg

The President sat in his office, writing letters to be sent to every African Nation.

"My African Brothers and Sisters, with great conflict occurring around the world, I propose that we form the African Union. In this union, we will be able to help each other in times of need. It is a choice, but I strongly recommend that you join this union."

Once Completed, the President begins sending the emails to other African Governments, awaiting their responses.

[u]Somewhere in the State of Northern Rhodesia[b][u]

Armed Guerillas have been constantly attacking multiple towns in order to gain more support for their so called "Ethnic Cause". In order to prevent this, Rostokian Military Presence has been increased in the region.

[b]12PM Local Time

A Fierce firefight takes place in a small town between guerillas and Military Forces. Military Forces in the region are called in to solve the issue, deploying APCs and Helicopters to contain the mess. However, guerilla forces have successfully pushed back units of the Defense Forces all the way back to their Forward base. Not only that, but Guerilla forces seem to have increased in numbers and it also seems that they have acquired Armored Vehicles from an unknown supplier. Defense Forces casualties are at a staggering height, and the Government has no choice left and declares Martial law in the state of Northern Rhodesia. Police Units are sent in as well to help contain the guerillas.

The Rostokian 3rd Infantry Division is deployed as the permanent fighting force in the region. 1,400 Fresh Troops arrive to relieve the front. Police Tactical Units also arrive. Evacuation of citizens also begin.

The beginning of a new empire

Postby Derpy Land » Wed Nov 07, 2018 10:26 pm

I awake to the loud voices of shouting in the capital of the Republic of Russia, for days there have been mass commotion after the government had started to send squads of military personnel through the streets I remember going to work and seeing people being abused but because I am just a citizen I had just walk pass it like nothing was happening. I got up to go to work, I put on my lab coat and went straight to the military base I was working on a new type of missile that could take out an entire battlefield, but sadly I wasn't having any success none of my math was working nor my mixtures. I had gotten frustrated and went to lunch every day I go to this place called sir tovarishch It's just a small restaurant in the area of the base. As soon as I stepped in an I see that a clump of protesters turned to face me I just went to the bar area nothing new, The bartender walks up to me "What can I get you Kortos".

"Vodka on the rocks," he wrote down my order and left by the time I thought I was going to be left alone a man smelling of booze which I'm sure is with the protesters had walked up to me and I knew from there I wasn't going to be left alone.

"Nice lab coat people killer *BIRPPPP* I bet you 5 rubles that whatever your doing for the government is going to kill someone" I look at the man in pure frustration as I was about to get up because of my short temper another rioter backed the guy off.

"Sorry about that he's always drunk and picking fights"

"It's fine, thank you by the way for backing him off"

"No problem my name is Alek I'm with the so-called rioters"

"Hello, Alek I'm Krotos one of the so-called killer" we both laughed we were one of the first people of the opposite sides to not fight from just looking at each other we ended up talking for a while about where we came from and what's happening to our country he somehow ended up making me attend a rally against the government and after a while I didn't go because I was forced to I started going because I realized what was happening to my country and we needed change so I became a member.

After a long rally, I went home It was pretty dark and my home wasn't that far from the rally so I walked home only to be stopped by the military asking for identification I said I left my wallet at home with my ID and out of nowhere a fleet of military men ran at me I was struck in the head and I broke multiple bones that day I was also In prison for failing to cooperate.

After years of riots, it was time I was one of the last original members of the group my friend sadly died in prison after rioting like he does but I became the leader and lead my people down to the capital. " CHILDREN OF RUSSIA IT IS TIME FOR A NEW AGE, A NEW AGE FOR THE PEOPLE FOR TOO LONG HAS THE GOVERNMENT TREATED AS SLAVES AND PUNCHING BAGS TODAY WE STAND FOR OUR FREEDOM FOR OUR RIGHTS AS RUSSIANS" the people were ready they wrapped around the city and cheered my name, for the first time I was starting to have faith back in my country it was time for the people to show their voice.

"REVOLUTION REVOLUTION REVOLUTION REVOLUTION REVOLUTION REVOLUTION REVOLUTION REVOLUTION" was being chanted and this was the beginning of the revolution. We Stormed into the capital building guards were disarmed as they shot their guns people were being killed around me the horror I saw but I knew they died for a better future. Once the capital building was ours we were faced with another challenge getting to the president before the military arrived I had stormed up the stairs since they locked the elevators from working the president was on the top floor they tried to lock the door but with the power of thousands of people we broke through finally getting to the main office of the president. We tied him up and got everything we needed because he had a key card with access to the entire building which also had an arsenal of weapons meaning we had weapons and ammo to supply the people and that meant the military had no chance they had arrived the military stormed in but they could not make it through they did not have any more men to use. We finally got the signal that we took over the capital so we went outside the capital and grabbed the president he was put on his knees a camera was placed in front of me and the president. Meanwhile, they had hacked into the broadcasting system and we were broadcasting to all of Russia they gave a gun it was time after years of work it was over, I placed the gun to his head and pulled the trigger it was over Russia had fallen and I was its new leader.

People were chanting my name "KROTOS KROTOS" by the people I was named Emperor kortos of Derpy land, we had named our new nation and by the people, I became there leader of the new empire the Empire of Derpy land.
Emperor krotos of Derpy land

Kamchatka

Postby Amurria » Thu Nov 08, 2018 12:16 pm

Novo Rossya, Northern Sakhlin Prefecture, 8 November 2018, 4:00 AM

"Soldiers, we have managed to conquer the island of Sakhlin, but now it's time for Kamchatka, the other region which fell into anarchy when the UDSR fell! We will send another 1,000 soldiers besides those 48,000 ones, in order to assist in peacekeeping operations in the area. We expect a lot of resistance now that we have took over this island. So prepare yourselves for the battle! We'll leave at 6:00 AM!"
The soldiers had two hours to prepare before parting for Kamchatka. They were to land in one of the coastal villages, then expand inland.

Transport Ship "Northern Lights", Coast of Kamchatka, near an abandoned military base, 7:00 AM

The captain of the ship was looking through his telescope, talking to the radio at the same time:
"Hakodate Base, do you copy?"
"Yes we do, Northern Lights, what's the status on the military base?"
"I can confirm that this is the central command base in the whole peninsula. The satellite scans show that they have two missiles underground, still not ready to fire, and not ready for another few hours."
"Understood. Begin a bombing run of the base."
The ship's containers opened up, revealing artillery guns and the bigger clusters released two helicopters, which began flying towards the base. The crewmen of the ship moved the artillery guns towards the military base and began firing at it, hitting it with varying success, leaving the most of the surface part of the base in ruins. A team was prepared to enter the base, and military patrols were set up on the outskirts of it.

Outskirts of the military base code named K1. 8:00 AM

A platoon of spec-ops soldiers was preparing to enter the base, taking all the equipment they needed. The surface was secured, but the base extended underground, housing two ballistic missiles from the 70s. They were driven to the entrance in the underground section, then they set two explosives.
"Three, two, one, boom!" said one of the soldiers as the doors exploded, throwing a flash bang inside. "Go go go!"
The squad entered the crammed utility corridor, written on it's walls was "Silo 1+2" in Russian. They walked towards the end of it slowly, wary of any traps which may have been laid by the insurgents. A few minutes later they reached the command room for the missiles, overlooking one of the rockets, which was ready to launch. Trying to stop the rocket from launching, they were ambushed by the insurgents.
"We have made contact with the enemies. Engaging!"
The shooting ended soon, but in the end, the control panel was destroyed, thus leaving them no option but to blow up the rockets before them being launched. So they began planting C4 along the walls of the silo, then began making their way through the hostile forces to the other silo, but it's rocket was already launched. Luckily it was shot down almost as soon as it left the military base. So the squad began making it's way through the enemies to the exit, so that they can bomb the place.
"We are exiting the base! Prepare an escort team at it's main exit points!"
They began running as the timer on the bomb was soon to reach zero. They got out through one of the utility tunnels, which was pretty much abandoned for a few decades, into the middle of the forest, a few hundred meters away from the base. Soon the bomb went off, bringing down the underground structure with it.

Most of Kamchatka's cities accepted to become part of the Empire, but insurgents, just like on Sakhlin, kept raiding food, water, fuel and weapon transports, hindering any visible progress in the conquered regions. Amurria has fulfilled it's Northern Wish. Now it looked South, at the riches of the Pacific.

Aboard the Schelevetkov class battlecruiser The Kivisto, Somewhere in the Barents Sea.

¨Good day, my Tsar.¨. Head Admiral Igor Volkov saluted.

¨Hello, Admiral.¨. Tsar Igor Kivisto nodded.

¨It is cold up here in the White Sea, isn´t it.?¨

¨Yes, my Tsar, it is, however, I´ve always loved the cold.¨. Said the Admiral in a relieved voice.¨

¨I believe we share something in common then.¨ The Tsar commented. They both chuckled.

¨So, I heard you used to be an admiral before your father gave the throne to you, right?¨

¨Yes, I was the former Admiral of the 9th Fleet.¨

¨I assume you know how our submarine detectors work, correct?¨

¨Yes, I do, why?¨

¨It´s the reason why I brought you here.

The Tsar looked at the detector, and was quite surprised.. to see.. nothing? And suddenly, he saw something out of the corner of his eye. A huge black mass was circling the ship! It rose to the surface, to see that it was a Submarine!

¨This is truly amazing Admiral. I´ve heard that you did install these propulsion systems, but I never thought it worked this well!¨

The Tsars voice darkened a bit. ¨Do any of the other nations have this kind of tech?¨ He asked.

¨From our..advisors...there seems to be almost no country in the world who has this new tech, and none have the capability to try and stop it.¨

¨Splendid, put these things to work now!¨ the Tsar ordered with joy.

¨We have one more thing for you to do, my Tsar.¨ Asked the Admiral.

¨Will you go to that mic and yell ¨Rise to the surface?¨?¨

The tsar did that, and 10 submarines arose from the depths.¨. As this happened, a ping came onto the screen. An old, captured Letskian Cruiser pulled into view, with the flags of Letskia and an old flag from Swietz. Two Motorboats quickly pulled away from the Ship, leaving nothing living on the ship.

The Tsar knew what to do.

¨FIRE!¨ He yelled with all the fury of the Karelogradians who live, lived and will live. A single word erupted from the deck as the Missiles fired from the Submarines, towards the Abandoned Letskian Cruiser. ¨URAA!¨. Echoed through the mouths of the Crew members, and as the Ship was blown to pieces, the Tsar watched as his two mortal enemies flags, one of which was gone, was obliterated by not just any fire, but a fire from the hearts of all Karelogradians.

ANOMALIES IN THE BARENTS SEA

In the investigation at the Barents Sea, found that a large amount of New Karelograd
activity was happening. They seem to be using the Barents Sea for military weapon
testing we recommend talking to the leader Tsar Igor Kivisto about the matter for
more information traces of bomb residue was found in the water.

Emperor Krotos Picked up his pen and started to write his letter to New Karelograd

Dear, Tsar Igor kivisto

I was informed that you conducted recent military tests in the Barents Sea, and I wanted to tell you that you should be more
careful, we share the ocean, and we are neighboring countries, your tests caused some uproar from a few days because of a loud
explosion and some minor high waves. Also since we are neighboring countries I Would like to form an alliance to make sure that
we, the former Russians, are safe, stay warm, it is getting colder now in Russia.

Sincerly, Emperor Kortos Of Derpy Land the I

Sir. Filat Tikhon Sokolov, Siberian settling squad

While arriving it seemed that Siberia was not populated only major threat is some natives
-Report From Sgt. Alek Sokolowski

Natives are outnumbered by our advanced military little to no problem they joined peacefully after we had an agreement that a teen boy marry the chief's daughter
-Report From Lt. Leonid Kolya Pasternak

"This Birds-eye I am getting a large number of people on my radar coming near the settlement points all 13 settlements are being surrounded" the natives had called there friends near the middle of Russia it was about to turn into a full civil war. "Sending in reinforcements"
"This is capital base all 13 bases this is not a drill we are under attack, I am invoking mode C-3 I repeat all bases go into mode C-3" C-3 is a mode in the empire which separates all platoons and other squads evenly around all the settlements each settlement has one base for protection. "Air Protect all settlements at all cost we are here to defend and conquer, all captives will be sent to the emperor for trial".

"This capital base can the DLS DDG-1000 Get to the port settlement"

"This DLS DDG-1000 we are on route will be there 0:05"

"This squad 4 we are taking serious damage were is our reinforcements" at that moment that soldier was killed he was shot by a native. after reinforcements came in they only got 10 settlements back 3 were still under attack Sgt. Alek Sokolowski was at settlement 4 where it was being overrun by natives. "This is Sgt. Alek Sokolowski we are being overrun I don't know how long we can last out here I need Air support now" at that moment he knew they wouldn't make it in time so for one final blow before they were overrun he was going to die in battle, not as a coward he grabbed his neckless of creg he kissed it and prayed to creg and told his men to either come home a scarred and as wimps or to die as men in battle the last men left charged, soldier after soldier fell right as all hope was lost air support came in and took out most of the natives. All the soldiers screamed with joy and charged to kill the last natives that day all the attacked settlements were taken back. Sgt. Alek Sokolowski was flown back to the capital in the empire he was given the empirical medal of honor for his heroic acts of bravery he was also promoted to general of the imperial army by the emperor himself. That day is when the empire had conquested Siberia.

The Tsar sitting in his workplace when a knock on the door was heard.

¨Enter.¨ the Tsar said in a monotone voice.

The Political Advisor, Ansa Tuvakov entered the room. She was tall and frail, like a baby tree.

¨Sir, We´ve got a message from Derpyland.¨

¨Hm?¨. The Tsar opened the letter. He read over the paper and thanked Ansa as she left.

¨While you´re here, go grab yourself some breakfast, tell the maids that I allowed you to have some.¨

¨Thank you, my Tsar.¨. She said.

She closed the door and left.

Igor Kivisto got to writing as soon she left.

Dear Leader of Derpyland,
The Nation of New Karelograd sees your concern. However, it seems your detection systems malfunctioned, we were testing this weapon in the White Sea, which is in our territory. While I am writing this, I am also warning you. You are causing concerns with my coalition annexing Siberia. Withdraw your claims or Sanctions with be imposed on your nation, and if this continues, expect an invasion of these areas. I would suggest you leave the area alone if I was you. Если вы хотите, чтобы у нас был контракт, который ваша коалиция может ввести и покинуть мою территорию, если это необходимо, вы также можете использовать ее для проектов, если я знаю, что там строится.

Declarations of War

Postby Amurria » Fri Nov 09, 2018 10:17 am

Imperial Palace, Edo, Tokyo Prefecture, 11:43 AM

The messenger entered the Emperor's room, holding a paper.
"Your Majesty, we have a message from the Tsardom of New Karelograd." he said as he handed the paper.
As he leaved, Yamato looked at the letter, wondering what would a nation so far away have to do with the Empire. After reading through it he called for a meeting with the highest ranking generals, preparing a strategy. The letter proposed an alliance with the Tsardom of New Karelograd, in exchange for their technologies and supplies, and territory in the peninsula of Kamchatka. It came with another letter, which the Empire was given the honor to read to the nation of Derply. With this new occasion, the flag of the Co-Prosperity Sphere's Armed Forces was also set:

Image

The letter said the following:

Empire of Derpy,

Due to the conquest of the people of Far Eastern Siberia, who are under the protection of the Tsardom of New Karelograd, you are warned to cede the territory to it's rightful owner, New Karelograd. Failure to do so will result in a war between the Greater East-Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere proper and it's honorary members: New Karelograd, Sultanate of Donvia, New Kirov. The Co-Prosperity Sphere's armies are already at the border, but it is not willing to partake in this war, thus we, the Empire of Amurria, propose the opening of negotiations in New Osaka, for us to reach a peaceful solution to this problem. We hope you will accept our offer, for we all know waging a war is costly, and we would all be better getting along.

Amurrian-Derpian Border, Northern Kamchatka Krai Prefecture, 13:09 PM

"All soldiers, on your positions! We need to fortify the border in case a war starts! Be ready!" Screamed the speakers at all the military bases on the border. The army was preparing for a war, which hopefully will not happen. The abandoned military bases have been rebuilt and repaired in order to secure the border, to stop the Kamchatkan separatists from leaving the country. Tank transports were coming from New Karelograd through the New Kirov's Navy. Even if the war would not happen, the Empire would still get these advanced technologies.
